each balloon has 3 events that happen randomly. 1 is the escort another is the pirate ship and the last is the champion, so if you dont get the champion right away wait around at the balloon. The event spawn every few minutes, so its just a matter of time till it cycles to the champ event

Also Anet also said when you bought the game that just because you can play it (when it first launched) doesnt mean that over the months/years with expansions and add ons and whatever else that you will still be able to play it. They did say that sometimes you will have to upgrade your computer to keep playing the game. Basically all MMO’s say that. They wont cater to low end PCs forever.

wow, how can you even play the game with your FPS that low? The game must look like a slideshow to you. I would seriously consider upgrading your cpu and ram for a start, and maybe your mobo for proper support of the new cpu and ram.

Lowest my comp gets for FPS is 30-35 around there and thats on world bosses in the middle of a battle with all the aoe’s and effects going off with roughly 50+ ppl there

I am curious about one of the new sigils. The sigil of torment. I know torment was a new DOA introduced into the game a lil while back and it is on neros and mesmer. I was thinking of making some for my ranger. Will it work or is it only for classes who have torment already, or can any class use it?

I have a question about the AP reward chests you get. My last chest yesterday was the 5k chest. I don’t have 5500 AP to get the chest for today. Question is. Once you hit 5500 AP, do you get the chest, or is it a “too bad so sad” type of thing that since you didn’t hit that AP mark you don’t get the chest? Me, alongside some of my guild mates were wondering about that.

Different vendors sell the same items, all the same. But just be careful, since they are “unique” you cant equip 2 of the exact same ones. For example, you cannot equip 2 “Ettin Band” style rings. But there is one called “Red Ring” (or somethign similar) Has the same stats as the Ettin Band ring, but it has a different infusion slot, on has a defensive the other an offensive, you can equip both of those, since they are differnt.

After the 25th or 28 of June, the dragonbash content is going to removed and the Sky Pirates is the new content thats going to take its place. So there is no point in keeping that stuff unless you have some sentimental attachment to it xD

one you can use only in an offensive slot, while the other you can use in either an offensive or defensive slot

Yup, or you can do fractals lvl 10 and up for daily chest and hope to get an infused ring that way xD.

you lose what ever you put into the infusion slot when you use the mystic toilet to make it ascended with AR. Best to do the mystic toilet stuff, then put in your infsion

Open the world map for the PVE, and zoom out a bit till you can see the names of all the regions, and hover your mouse cursor over the names and it will show you if you have 100pct zone completion done or not. I know i was wondering why i was missing some hearts and POI’s, turned out i missed a whole zone that i totally forgot about, think it was Field of Ruin. So check that way and You might have missed some stuff

You can guest to Tarnished Coast and play with your friends that way. You just wont be alble to WVW or PVP with them.

The population always fluctuates with servers, they are never static. People come back when new content is added, then leave again when they get bored and wait for new content to be released.

As for the gems to transfer, i highly doubt Anet will change the amount. It has been 1800 gems since they eneded the free server changes a while back. The gem cost has not changed and i dont see it changing in the near future.

Only thing is, and i might be wrong about this. I read somewhere that you can transfer to medium pop servers for free, but changing to high pop servers will cost you 1800 gems. Not sure if that is still in effect.

If you want a class that gives you a bit of distance between you and the mob. Try ranger. You get a pet that usually tanks the mob for you while you dps it along side your pet with ranged weapons. Also if you get aggro fro mthe mob and it runs to you, you have some distance from yourself and the mob to get used to dodging and interrupting the mob. It takes a bit of time to get used to, but most mobs, once you have layed longer, you can tell when they are gonna hit you or use a AOE spell or a DOT. Just takes a lil time to catch the tells form the mobs to know what they are planning. Hope this helped a bit

I really hope this is fake, cause my main is a warrior and with the changes in here, both the warr and ranger get hosed, while the other classes get buffs, and the engineer seems to get tons of tweeking which would prolly make loads of ppl have to re do their builds.

usually most mmos have a 20 to 30 minute window that if your not active you will be kicked out for inactivity. I think GW2 its a 20 mins window

I started having lag today after the small 8 file patch today. Got home from work, patched up the game then a few hours later my guild mates and I decided to run a COF path 1 dungeon, and i kept getting massive lag spikes and d/cing. Id restart the client with no luck. Even rebooted my comp, and when that didnt work, i reset my router and modem and still no luck. Everything else is fine on ym comp no connection p[robs or anything, so it must be something in the latest patch or patches from Anet that are giving the massive lag spikes. I usually never have any lag in this game, even with the hoards of ppl at the world bosses/ Hopefully we will have a reply from a dev or something if they have any idea what the prob is, and maybe a time frame when it might be fixed. I cant play GW2 at all tonight. Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be better

I doubt they will do anything, Those player(s) just wanted to be kittens to someone, and unfortunately that someone was you. Sorry that you had that experience. For the most part, 95% of the player community in game and on forums are nothing like that. Like in anything in this world, you get people like that. I would just block him so that way he cannot contact you, and you will most likely not get into a party with him again. I’ve run into people like that before, and instead of trying to make something out of a mole hill, just be the bigger person and walk away. Those people seem to act liek that cause they like attention, whether its good or bad, they are just not worth the time or effort to waste on them.

I know that there is a tonic that you can buy that changes your character into a guild banner for 15 minutes. This post is for people that hate them and cant distinguish them from real ones, and also to help new players incase they think they are doing something wrong when trying to get a boost of one of these “banners”. In the pic i post it will show 3 easy ways that I have seen to know a real banner from a trolling one. Again in doing this to help new players and others who do not know what to look for to see the difference. So anyone who wants to flame or insult, go else where. I like to help others in game, so here is a bit of help =) Hope this helps some of you in game ^^

I have a question about the ascended rings you can get with laurels. I know that they say “unique” so that you can only equip 1 and not 2 of the same name. But i do have a question/concern about it.

There are 2 rings i want to get for my main toon, they have different names to the rings, one is called “Ettinband” (currently have this one equipped on my main) and the other is called “Ossa Family Signet Ring” (i want to get this ring next to co-inside with my Ettinband ring). One has a defensive infusion slot, the other has an Offensive infusion slot. They both say “unique” on them. They both have the same stats.

My question is is that can I equip one of each on my main toon, or do they consider these 2 rings the same since they have the same stats? I find that Anet isnt very clear whern it comes to certain things in this game,

So if anyone has any info on this for me, i would greatly appreciate any input. Or if anyone has tried out what im about to do later today when i finish the new dailies, cause then i will have enough laurels to do it, but i do not want to waste my 35 laurels on a ring i might not be able to equip cause of another one i have equipped

I have noticed an icon that floats up from my toons head when he is fighting. It seems to happen only in Southsun Cove. It sorta looks like a yellow ghostly see thru fist that rises up and you see a red negative number in it. Anyone know what it is? Not sure what it is and i cant seem to find info on it. Curious to know if anyone knows about it

If so, that sucks was gonna run some more guildies through it so they could get their fused gauntlets.

I dont know if this is a bug or what. I have reported it in game, but yet nothign seems to have been done.

No matter what world boss i do. And yes, i only do them once a day, no repeating them, so I am guaranteed a main chest, and a mini chest above the mini map with a guaranteed rare in it. For the last week, I have been doing world boss fights, I get the main chest, but i do not get the mini chest anymore with the rare in it. I have reported it, but it does not seem that they have done anything with this bug, since it is still happening. I would like to have a devs input on this, or anyone else who is having this issue as well.

I have even done the world boss fights with fellow friends and guildies, they get the mini chest and main boss chest, yet i dont get the min chest, only boss chest, so i am missing out on getting rares/exotics. Not exactly fair that some people get it. SO i hope a dev sees this and puts in a few words if they are lookign into this bug where some people get mini chests and others dont

What server are you on? Are you trying to guest on a server and pick that ori ore as well? I too thought i’d be slick and do that. You can’t. Also, check out Orrmaps.com for locations on most things in orr.

Other than that, my daily runs on JQ have still produced same amount of materials.
Either it’s bugged on your server, or you are looking in the wrong spot.

Nope, im on Sanctum of Rall. Not guesting. Thats my home server. But thanks for the tips, I know that the nodes in Orr (not sure about other places in Tyria) they shift their locations every week or every few weeks.

i run the same path everyday and get 4 ori nodes, 2 rich mith, 4 omnoms, and about 3 elder wood. I know theres more elsewhere but this tides me over since i do it on both chars and it only takes about 5 min on each. Where are you looking.

I go all over Orr. I do a sweep of all ares to get all the mats i can. I only found 1 ori node, no ancient wood node, no rich mithirl nodes, just tons of regular mithril and cypryss nodes. Another guild member is running into the same thing, tons of mothril and cypryss and no ori or elder. So i think something might be bugged with the orr nodes

I was runnign through orr to gather mats, and i have only came across 1 node of ori, tons of mithril, not one elder wood node and tons of the cypryss(or w/e its called) nodes. Is there an issue with the nodes in orr that i am unaware of?

If you are unsure about accepting the 1 copper from the gold sellers/spammers. There is a “return to sender” button that sends whatever the sender mailed you. Thats what i did, then i reported it, then deleted the mail

Maybe your father should submit a ticket and wait his turn in the queue to get support instead of you coming on here ranting and raving and demanding to be put ahead of all the other tickets. Keep acting like this and they will keep deleting your posts, and if you continue i can see a temp ban. There are rules to follow about hacked cases, and unfortunately, the game world does not revolve around your fathers and your characters. You have to wait till the others that are in front of you get helped first. It may take a while. So relax and follow the proper steps

I noticed today when i logged in, that my gf’s character plays on the same home world i do, for obvious reasons. But when i logged in today, i noticed that she is on another home world server. She is now on ehmry bay and not Gate of Madness. She did not ask nor apply for a transfer and did not do anyhting to trigger one. I asked her about it, and she said that Anet moved her to that server without asking her if it was ok.

My question is, if she is on Ehmry bay, and she did not ask, nor want to change servers, can i ask Anet to put her back to Gate of Madness?

Or is there a bug or something that says your on a different server when your actually not?

3rd and final question. Can Anet just decide and randomly pick people to shove onto other servers without the players concent?

If she is on anotehr server, i really want her back on mine, and i do not want to have to pay for the transfer, and if it was Anets mistake they should move her back ASAP.

I already submitted a bug report in-game about this. But posting on here to see if anyone else had similar problems. And since i was not expecting mystic forge to do this i have no ss of the swords.

I bought 4 rare honed greatswords (i would have the full name of the greatswords, but trading post is down and cannot find out the full name) from trading post, cost 1 gold 12 silver. The purpose was to put them into mystic forge and get a better greatsword for the outcome (hopefully) But there was a bug in the mystic forge. I put in all 4 greatswords, and when i hit “forge” It accepted all 4 swords but it did not give me anything at all in return. And no to the people that might say i hit reset or closed the window, no i hit forge was taken out of my inventory and was given nothing back. So either i would like those greatswords back so i can retry, or id like the gold i spent on them returned.

Anyone else have problems like this before?

I did the whole shatenner event, and i got no rewards of any kind and no chest at the end of the event like Anet said there would be for events like this. I have no clue if it is a bug or not. But kinda bites i did the event and i didnt get a single item or anything from it.

All the important keys are under one hand, all the keys are re-assignable, for example my 11 and G.Save keys are re-bound to – and = respectively and I reassigned Weapon Switch to the = key. Also I have reassigned the F1 – F4 keys to L Ctrl + 1 thru L Crtl + 4 with the Left Cntrl mapped to MB 4 on the Logitech G-9X.

As for dependability, I have had the current Merc for 4 years and will buy another when this one finally fails.

I have the same keyboard. I love it, Makes it so much easier to game with. And for me, being left handed, and my right hand being stronger with the keyboard and left with the mouse, this is a very good keyboard

Gate of Madness is a great server.

Im a clicker as well. I recently bought the steelseries merch keyboard. I love it. It has reduced the amount that i use my mouse for skills.

So I ran a cleaner tool

There is your problem right there. The cleaning tool seems to always mess things up on a computer. I never use them. I did once about 7 years ago, and was deleting important and necessary windows 32 files. I find the cleaner tool doesnt seems to care about what it deletes, or it looks for files that may seem to act like a trojan or worm. Thats why so many people had trouble installing and running GW2. Cause some firewalls and virus scanners thoguth it was a trojan or worm trying to hack into the computer. I suggest dont use the cleaner tool, unless you know exactly what to do with it and how to use it properly, and that you are sitting at your computer while it is running. I cant stand the tool cleaner, its the stupidest thing windows has, imho

I have seen karma vendors for lvl 80 gear and there was a tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 vendor. So they are around, I believe they are in the major cities. I have seen some in Rata Sum, Divinities Reach and a few other spots

I just go around doing personal story and event and hearts, and gives tons of XP. I work 40 hours a week so i only get a few hours a day after work. I play more on weekends if i dont have to work. I am lvl 38 now, i was 28 on friday. Just do dailies, events, hearts personal story and craft, it goes faster than you think. I havent even touched sPVP or WVW yet.
