+1 to having a copy of this set with separate pieces. Would buy.
-Make all minis tradeable.
Thought of this today after reading up on a topic about the Mini Llama being too exclusive. It would give PvPers who don’t care about it a nice chunk of gold, I’m assuming it’s price would be valued pretty high. It would also create a market for some of the older minis that are now unavailable.
Could be like the spinal blades back and have multiple skins later on in the LS
Killing or not, he just needs to man up a bit and maybe Anet should hire someone else who didn’t just wake up from a nap to do his voice.
He’s seriously THE MOST anti-charismatic hero I’ve ever had to listen to. Like.. really. When he gives a speech to “motivate” troops, I just want to throw down my weapon and go join the enemy’s forces.
I’ve heard better, more rousing, and more convincing arguments from the Risen:
“Death good!”
I mean, dang, I’m sold.
Seriously made my day lmfao
You can report him and he could receive a ban, but I don’t think you’ll get your money back.

There is no “multi” client but you may be able to run two at the same time if you copy the folder to another location on the same computer.
I have no way to test this though.
This only works if you DO NOT save your login credentials between sessions.
But you can have GW2.exe and GW2.dat stored in a new set of folders and run the 2nd exe to ‘multibox’ on the same system.
Just tried to copy the dat and exe into a new folder and wasn’t able to get it to work. Any tips?
What happens for you? Do you have the UAC disabled in windows?
I run one and it opens up the client but when I run the copy it just pops up the first client
Edit: I have UAC on

Could anyone link me to a working multi client?
I want to use my second account to stand around at the tp while I go about my business. It is acceptable according to this post:
Quoted here (2nd post, at the bottom):
Dual- or Multi-Boxing
You may use more than one account at the same time.
You may use more than one computer at the same time.
You must be actively playing on each account.
And as stated above, you may not program your keyboard to perform functions on more than one account at a time.
If they do add new paths to AC I really hope they don’t remove the old ones.
Anyone know how much ambrite each recipe requires? Might as well stock up now while there’s a lot coming in
I’d suggest making the Region PvP tracks character bound, and then as you complete each one you get the map area for it finished. But then I’d also make the region tracks about 3 times longer just so you can’t get it done too fast.
The way I see it is that TP players actually slow down inflation and keep prices down. The TP is arguably the games biggest gold sink, since it only uses gold that has already been created. TP players remove 15% of the cost in gold of an item for every sale, sometimes more if they have to relist it.
So what I’m saying is, players like you who kill monsters all day bringing new gold into the system are the reason prices are so high. Help the economy and play the TP.
This has probably burnt enough flippers that they will stay away from scamming people for a few weeks which should drop the prices on some items. Good move by Anet.
All flippers do is make money from players being impatient about their gold. How in anyway are they scamming anyone? Someone is clearly bitter.
I started out pretty slow, I did decently but never had that much to invest. Got really lucky with celestial exalted recipes, quit for a while and when I came back I think they were at 22g a piece.
500~ chances, only thing I got besides tokens was 1 favor
So, will the opened dyes sell for more in the future, too, or will those prices always be low like now and unidentifieds the only ones that rise in price to 1g or whatever?
Again everything right now is pure speculation, my guess is that dyes across the board go up but very slowly for right now. The reason I believe unids will rise is a combination of gamblers hoping to luck out with jackpot dyes, the very restrictive currently known ways to obtain them, and the Gift of Color needed for Bifrost.
I don’t think they’d introduce a way to mass gain unid dyes through rewards right after making dyes account wide unlocks. I believe they want to increase the difficulty of collecting dyes for future players, which is why they changed the laurel cost to 5 for 1 Unid.
Speculation.

I have to reneg my earlier comments. I am actually surprised at how quickly they’ve rebounded. I spent 100 gold to get 500 unid’s, I got 264 for free from the patch. Going to divest my ore holdings since I think that JC500 is a LONG way off which is why they made ascended trinkets account bound. Gonna hold my silver but the gold and platinum is going bye bye. Since unid’s are at 23 and climbing and we have to be at peak saturation, I cannot think that these may hit 50 silver.
If you look at current ways to obtain unids in the game:
- 5 Laurels for 1 Unid
- 4 Rare Unidentified Color Dyes (The cheapest at the moment is about 35s each in crafting costs. Completely dependent on material prices though and this may drive the prices of those mats up as well.)
I can see Unid dyes selling for 1g each after some time once the supply gets used up, which we’re already seeing.
If you take my calculations from my last post, if UIDs cost 1g, the average common dye could cost 7.5s, the average uncommon dye 75 silver and the average rare dye 7.5g.
In order for the prices to rise that high, the average crafting value of crafted dyes would also have to rise that high. Especially for crafted rare unidentified dyes, i have severe doubts that that will ever happen.
You also forgot that UIDs will still drop from certains achievements, right now i am not 100% which those achievements are or if it has officially been announced or not.
But i think i read map completions somewhere, and in my opinion there many more ways they could add supply, for example achievement chests, LS, wvw or PVP achievements.
That’s if we’re going by ACTUAL value of each dye, but prices are driven up more by gambler impulses to go for the jackpot dyes. Otherwise we would have seen unid dyes sitting at 10s for the last year instead of the 40s that they hovered around. But yeah of course there are possible options that could change the supply, but as of right now what we have is a very small supply entering the market besides the few stragglers who haven’t logged in to grab their free dyes.

Unid dye is now up to 23 after reaching 17s yesterday (where I bought all my stacks)
will that be enough to make up for your bad investment?
He’s already profiting.
The way I see it is, as the cheaper abyss and celestial dyes on the market continue to sell out, more people will try to gamble for them. I believe it is a .1% chance to get an abyss or celestial to drop. So for the gamblers one out of every thousand will drop an abyss, which should eat up the supply fairly fast.
Let’s be honest, most of the people who stocked up their alts with cheap dyes to get unids from the patch probably logged in yesterday and started dumping. The supply should slow down in a day or two and we should start to see an increase in price. I think it’ll end up around the 1g mark, somewhere around the price of 100 onions and 100 bay leaves.
PS: In no way is this fact, everything written in this post is purely speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Unidentified Dyes will never get significantly more expensive than they are (except in bursts of rampant speculation, like we saw a week or so ago). Remember that their supply is in many ways tied to Laurels, and as soon as it becomes more profitable to convert Laurels to dyes instead of to T6, the prices will quickly equalize back to level.
tl;dr: Dyes and T6 prices are closely related through the ‘value’ of a Laurel.
So now that Unid dyes aren’t gained by drops and they cost 5 laurels, kaboom.
They can also be forged from any 4 unidentified crafted dyes.
Missed that part of the patch notes, but after checking you’re correct. Still though the recipe uses Unid Rare Dyes

Just wish they were usable in combat, that way the ones I have now aren’t useless.
Opened somewhere around 5k boxes. No sigils
I’m laughing to myself because I’ve played 2 solo Q matches today and they have both featured incredibly bad sportsmanship, both on my own team. It’s like the fates are conspiring to prove I was wrong when I said things weren’t that bad in GW2 PvP.
Even more amusing, I just had the worst sort of crybaby / Monday morning quarterback. We’re in the Svanir map, about to start I give a general “gl” greeting to all as I like to do. Someone in our team asks about assignments, someone else responds. So we start, and we lose both buffs.
Then player #3 on our team — who said NOTHING when the others were discussing assignments — whines like a baby that we lost the buffs and declares he’s going to deliberately AFK for the entire match. Neither team even had 200 points at this point. He then taunts the rest of the team talking about how he’s eating a bagel and so forth.
Then the icing on the cake, he moans that the game is “dead”. Gee, you think meeting people like him might have something to do with it?
I know there’s nothing to be done about this, but…
Dude I was on the same team as you for this match xD, that guy was such a kitten. I literally just gg’ed the map, reported him and dipped out. He was the only one who didn’t say anything at the beginning and it was surprising when he just raged out.

Updated Reward System
With gear unification we will also introduce a system that allows players to set goals for rewards in PvP and work towards them. We are not ready to discuss this system in detail yet, as it is still being developed, but more information will come as we get closer to being able to release this system.Once this new system is in place, glory will be retired as a currency, and gold will be the standard currency across the game. All existing glory vendors will be removed at this time. We will give advance warning when this is coming so you can spend all of your existing glory before that happens.
That’s the part you should keep in mind.
But what about the dragon finisher? ;(
They should keep ranks and still add ladders. Let us progress through ranks and get that dragon finisher, a year has hardly been enough time. Why not just give special ranks to those who place on ladders and still let us progress our Rank?
I could see them being added into Black Lion chests as account bound drops after the giveaway.
Anet is a shadow of it’s former self.
They have been steadily falling in credibility since release, in my eyes. Time after time they’ve proven they’re willing to go back on their words for a quick money grab. I went from playing everyday all day to a few hours here and there, but after this T3 skin I am officially taking a break from the game.
The fact that nobody from Anet has responded to any of the threads about this makes me sick. You made your money and now you’ll ignore us until you release something else that is so completely out of line we forget about the T3 reskin and complain about that. Rinse and Repeat.
It seems very inconsistent to me which ones can be sold and which can’t.
Personally I think they should all be tradeable. Half the fun of collecting minis in GW1 was trying to find people willing to sell the ones you missed out on when they were originally available.
With the exception of the HoM ones because you can get an infinite number of them and it’d be unfair if people could just keep selling them.
I think this could actually be a good idea. It would create a market for rarer minis, such as Liadri, and give collectors the chance to actually be able to complete the whole collection even if they came late to the game.
I know it would defeat the purpose of showing off minis to say you were there for that event but if it was really that important to prove it to someone you could just send a screenshot of the finished achievement to them.
So…. next update will bring 500 crafting for the remaining crafts! Calling it now.
The problem is with Gem Store bought skins and space for regular skins. What should be done is that once bought Gem Store skins should have a locker which we can use to make unlimited copies of it, like the HoM items. As for regular skins there should be a separate bank tab for equipment for each character, it’s ridiculous how much room is used up by different sets for each character. Most of my alts have been turned into mules these days.
Named exotics don’t cost anywhere in the ballpark of legendaries. I have both. I know.
And adding this ‘feature’ to just legendaries would not kill the sigil market. Adding to all weapons, however, would.
The sigil is a very important part of the weapon and a build and this feature would be nice to have. Another extra bonus incentive to having a legendary.
That being said, I don’t think legendaries NEED them. I just think this is a decent idea.

Personal instances, cut scenes, new armors…. Very good job with what I’ve seen so far Anet
Did we actually kill Zhaitan or just defeat him?
I would actually be 100% for that if we could pull it off.
This is what I had from earlier in the page before I got demoralized by the fact that I messed up SoS’s matches and didn’t want to do those again…
JQ 3 1 1 1 2 2 1 = 27 SoR 2 1 2 1 1 1 3 = 27 BG 1 2 1 3 1 1 2 = 27
It requires BG to throw the 4th week match, which is impossible naturally, but could be done because its Maguuma (they will definitely push as hard as they can). We 3 would all get first. I really want SoS and Mags to tie for 3rd as well, but it’s such a pain to plan without too many thrown matches (shooting for none), and I don’t think its possible to get one of them to tie with TC.
TY for out of the box thinking! I posted on another thread that it would be easy for BG and SoR to manipulate a tie. I’m completely for a 3 way tie. Heck, I’d go with a 6 way tie if it’s statistically possible. Just to show what we can do as a community when we work together.
Well unless Anet decides to use start of server ranking as the tie breaker, then that would be terrible… for SoR and BG.
Or total points over the season
I don’t really see the comparison to the last time. those knights were selling for like 1s each. You could forge thousands of them without a problem.
Scarlet and Caithe are >5g each. at 20g a forge you are averaging 100g per exotic. You’ll almost always come out with a loss. If people are selling minis for less it is because they are desperately trying to recoup some of the money they lost trying this.
Before the Caithes and Scarlets most of the exotic minis were valued at around 200g.
Exos down to 40% of their original average price in one week. Wonder how far they’ll drop.
Edit: This is the change of price for the Mini Oakheart, haven’t looked into the others.
(edited by Aycee.9162)
Honestly, I think they’ll probably stay at around the same price or maybe even sink a little over time. Their true supply can only increase, since they’re tradeable even after using, and it will still be possible to get them out of the forge. The only time the available supply will decrease is when someone either quits the game, forges for exotics, or deletes it.
I thought the villagers killed him =/
Like froacus said, they’re a really safe investment with little loss potential and huge profit potential with Legendary trinkets and 500 Jewelcrafting coming out.
Could also possibly be leading up to an update where Sigils on 2 handed weapons have 2x the effect.
/fingerscrossed
600 Rares salvaged today, only got 442 ectos out of them. I normally get somewhere in the upper 500s.
decent sample size. This does look a bit low….
looks completely made up to me…
The Ecto prices and the rare market are unaffected, thus the salvage rate is fine. If there were a bug like last time it would be reflected in the market.
Good thing not everything depends on what it looks like to you. I’m not saying the salvage rate went down or up, especially since I had pretty good results today, I just decided to post my outcome of my daily salvages for yesterday since it was relevant to the topic.

There is a dev that favorites black gate and wanted to make sure Tequatl can be beaten so that everyone else believe they had a chance of winning. The dev was within and he was dealing heaps of damage and tequatl’s hp was reduced.
