I’m still undecided between Dueling and Inspiration.

Maybe shout troop roamer but switched GS for LB?

I’d like a skill where we could swap places with our pets, like Mesmer’s sword 3.

Could use melee pet while we attack at range with bow, then swap places, switch t range pet while we go melee with sword.

This is what i’ve been running and it’s worked, as well being great fun.

Thanks. Except in my case, both of these files caused a crash.

If you’re getting crashes, delete everything in your GW2 folder other than the DAT file and launcher.

Launch the game which will generate the missing files and bin folder giving you a clean fresh working installation.

Download ReShade/SweetFX here.

Extract the download and run ReShade Setup, select the GW2.exe / GW2-64.exe (if it says game unrecognised select Directx3D 9 option.

SweetFX is now installed. To make changes edit the “SweetFX_settings” file inside the SweetFX folder. Rememebr if using a profile from SweetFX 1.5 or below you’ll probably need to manually change your options in this file as the presets have updated in version 2 (takes about 2 mins)

d3d9.dll , dxgi.dll and injector.ini MUST be in either bin or bin64 folders to work.

Bug, they said rather than risk breaking anything they’ve left it as is for this year.

I start work an hour after everything goes live, then after work im at a wedding party. I might see some game on Sunday :/

Extra slots get added on Fridays.

WoodenPotatoes advertised it and brought the system down due to server overload, the dev is out of the country until end of the week to try and sort it when he returns.

This is why I don’t do dungeons in this game, just not fun (this is a game remember!)

Thinking of coming back but friends are on a different server to me.

With the megaserver, does actual homeworld matter, or would I still need to transfer for guild activity?

Runs just fine for me

Air 4 > 5
(gap close and knockdown)

Fire 3 > 4
(regap close, fire field x 2)

Earth 3 > 4 > dodge > 3
(immobilize, blast finisher, dodge is blast finisher at later level, leap for fire aura)

Could also then drop to Water for 3 (blast finisher) and us Arcane Wave (blast finisher)

Sigil of Battle will also proc might on attunement swap.

So switched from my condi necro to play a D/D ele less than a week ago.
Not wearing celestial armour, but a mix to get stats as close as possible.
Was about to start crafting celestial when the patch notes came along, am I wasting my time crafting it now, or is the nerf not gonna be that drastic?

A minion build is easy for levelling, if not a bit boring.
Once at higher levels condition builds start to shine (I prefer to power on necro)

Found the experience with the new system absolutely fantastic, doing events ive not done for a long time.

I’m building a fun minion PVE build and can’t decide which way to go with gear.

Berserker: to give myself more power, but the extra stats don’t benefit the minions plus they don’t crit.
Soldier: More power for me as well as some survivability.
Cleric: Let the minions do the work while I use the healing power to keep them alive.

Thoughts?
(again, just a fun build not one of my mains)

Ah ok, this is my final character and wanted to make a minion master with as many bodies as possible, so was thinking Blood Fiend, Bone Minions, Shadow Fiend, Bone Fiend, Flesh Golem, then Ogre runes for the Rock Dog and the extra demon from the Sigil.

(Obviously a fun build, not a min/max)

I know Sigil of Bloodlust can’t stack with say, Sigil of Perception, but does anyone know if the Sigil of Demon Summoning can?

While you may not agree with people playing the game how you want them to, they did PAY for the game so they have the right to play the game how they want to.

Stop bleating and whining and play the game you PAID for the way you want.

If you head back into your starting city (Divinitys Reach) you can use an Asura gate to get to a hub where you can jump to any starter city (levels 1-15)

Your next stop though much be Kessex Hills which is a level 15-25 zone.

All passwords changed, was gonna use the mobile authenticator but it keeps crashing, typical.

So after logging out last night, this morning I couldn’t log in to either the game or site getting an error about password being incorrect.

I thought this would be due to log in servers down for the patch, but then i went through the change password process and it worked and now I’m in.

First I thought maybe i’d been hacked, but nothing is missing, anyone else experience this?

I use Turtle Beach too, and yes they do make the game sound amazing.

So maybe something like Mesmer runes, with the extra prec meaning the Accuracy sigil can be swapped out for an Energy one?

Before I go to the expensive of buying a new set of gear, which is the more suited to solo PVE play? (no intention of doing dungeons, but WvW at 80)

Don’t think of the stacked stat as part of your build, merely a bonus. Then the stack number doesn’t become as important.
