Nerfing two skills so hard like that just seems like a mistake when power engis can’t even switch to rifle to make up for it.

Hey can your healbot spam CC? Theres a type of darn ele out there that really hoses my build over. I wondered if it has to be a FA to do it, or one of these http://metabattle.com/wiki/Build:Tempest_-_D/F_Stun-o-matic, Or whether your healbot can as well.
I’ve played something similar to that in WvW while roaming, but never really thought of playing it in spvp lol. LR does some really good spike damage in wvw though mixed w/ air overload as a follow up.
I might have to give it a try though, meta healbot is incredibly boring to play atm.
Matchmaking is better, meta is ok. It’s still too condi focused, but I’ll take that over the snoozefest that was s1.
I do want to play something other than a healbot on my ele tbh. I know fresh air exists, but… nty.
I think the highest win streak I got so far this season was 3 or 4 wins. Last season I had 2 30+ win streaks then got stopped at diamond.
At this point I assume I’m going to lose if I get one or two wins in a row lol.
I like the idea behind it, but I dislike how it destroys the other servers identity.
I have 0 clue how much people from Kaineng contribute beyond seeing a few of their guilds here and there.
I enjoy spvp most days so the wings are a nice bonus.
I haven’t gotten them yet (Still need a bunch of wins), but I’m setting a goal of x amount of wins per day so I don’t hate myself too much from grinding.

Yes. I miss RA from gw1 because most of the maps were a simple deathmatch. Other team died? You win. No respawning.
I’d be okay with multiple rounds as well.
They could change up courtyard to be like this, just remove the score limit and make it be multiple rounds. Of course I have no clue how hard it’d be to do that lol.

People like you who deny that YB became the #1 server without huge guilds who came and left constantly are denying a whole community of those who spent massive hours not ppt’ing, but taking properties, fighting overwhelming numbers and not sleeping for days.
BG is bigger, not better. Period. And like JQ before it, it too will implode eventually from its own weight and internal, ridiculous, politics.
DB has said from the beginning it wouldn’t stop until it is #1 – and it might well be its time with the imbalances we seen now. It’s just a matter of time.
Lol, I’ve never even been on BG and I just have to say you’re flat out wrong.
Unlike many other servers that have rotated in and out t1, BG seems to have a strong set of guilds that actually care enough when it matters.
Let anet announce another wvw season and I’ll bet that BG comes out #1 tbh.
If two or three people dueling is such a detriment to your zerg, then maybe you zergers should step it up eh?
And are people really complaining about roamers? Who you do think is flipping camps/sentries, killing dollys, scouting, refreshing siege, etc etc.
Not everyone wants to blob around the map constantly.
That said, trying to duel in EB is a bad idea due to the amount of gank squads/zerging going on atm. I always keep an eye out for a zerg if I happen to walk into a duel of my own.
Spawn camping is boring as hell.
It sucks when the rest of the map is empty because your team is camping the others.
So I’d say it hurts morale for the other teams… probably.
I could tolerate the meta for this season since last season I just didn’t bother beyond saph.
I had a pretty easy ride from amber – diamond playing reaper/tempest. Honestly -too- easy with a 30+ win streak, the games weren’t even fun after awhile. I think only 4 of those games went above 300 points, the rest were total blowouts. (I solo q’d from Saph – Dia, btw.)
Once I reached diamond it felt like the matchmaking was punishing me for those win streaks and went out of it’s way to force me to lose.
I probably wouldn’t have minded as much if I didn’t need to win for those class achievements. In the end it was pretty demoralizing and I gave up on getting those for this season.
There seriously needs to be something done about class stacking though.
I haven’t played druid, but healbot ele is pretty good at what it’s meant for. I missed playing a healer in an mmo and with auras, boon spamming, aoe condi cleanse, and aoe healing… Ele definitely scratches that heal itch.
(This is only for spvp though, I haven’t touched a raid.)
- Part of me misses the chaos that was 10v10 in hotjoins.
- Playing a zerk gs/sword+pistol mesmer and absolutely wrecking so many people within seconds.
- Cele D/D ele . I know it was cancerous and everyone and their mom ran it, but it was a legit fun dps build to play.
TC/SoS/FA match up a few weeks before TC was launched into t1
TC/FA focused each other so hard that SoS won. A few guilds got rather salty about that happening lol.
Besides that, I’d say any 3-way garri fights. They don’t really happen anymore :/ (Or they do and I’m missing them all…)
I’m on TC and giving this from a roamer perspective.
On EB the roaming is pretty good, until TC decides to go full ppt hero and there’s nothing to fight for hours at a time. Unless you’re into spawn camping lol.
FA continues to get it’s rear kicked every week and I’m surprised they still try considering they basically took SoS’s position.
Can’t say I actually like fighting DB, but it’s better than the horror stories I’ve heard about YB.
Desert borderlands are still somewhat dead, outside of reset.

That’s about it. I’m on TC so I’m not too worried about population, but the matches are rather lopsided (Who is fort aspenwood again?)
I’ve noticed in my journey to diamond that team comp matters a lot. I could pretend to be the best tempest in the world but if my team comp is terrible, I’m probably not going to win that game unless the other team is completely braindead.
This along with good communication and rotation skills wind up in me winning most of my games. Individual skill matters when you’re contesting a point or dueling, but in a team game you need to sync up well w/ your other teammates and have good/decent teamwork. Along with a build that meshes well with others.
1. I would /love/ some skill balance directed at WvW, but not if you guys aren’t set on splitting skills into pvp/pve. I don’t even pve and it sucks how pvers are screwed by skill balance due to spvp.
2. I don’t think reverting the map back will help since WvW was dead long before the new maps, however it’d be nice to have them.
3. I’m all for a WvW reward track. I spend 95% of by time in WvW and it sucks that I’m not really getting anything out of it besides a couple gold a day (since I just roam and don’t zerg too often). Another WvW season would be great tbh.
4. Pop balance… I’m not sure what to say besides merging some servers to fix some problems. t6 and down are probably completely dead and anyone who wanted to WvW has likely transferred off already.
5. Scoring… Can’t say I care much about this issue.

Skill lag, mostly. So much skill lag. Usually skills don’t activate at all.

Yep. Usually 3 way blobs in SM or Garrison fights. Guessing theres around 50+ ppl on each side. But sometimes I’ll get skill lag when two zergs are fighting in open field & I’m on the opposite side of the map.
When I got that mail a small part of me actually believed they snuck in the acc bound wxp, but nope. Just have to redo points for no reason. Will anet say anything about this? Probably not but whatever.
I’ve always experience skill lag in eb, bc three ways in SM tend to do that. However now I’m getting lag in every BL. If two zergs are in garri, I’ll be lagging my kitten off in south camp. I understand that T1 has lag, but dang.
I really hope it’s dealt with before the season starts.
For years I played a game made by a company in Europe. They’d drop their updates while I was asleep, or at work. I didn’t run onto their forums moaning about how they “hate north america” or whatever.
It’s pretty much impossible to cater to all timezones, I wish more people understood this.

Unlike GW1, GW2’s story just falls apart after the racial bit. I can remember most of GW1’s story but not much of GW2. It’s just that boring and forgettable.
Because the topic at hand, to which I was a part of, had nothing to do with these skins but with buying Legendaries, which, has always been possible.
While I’m sure people have spent real money to buy legendaries, if Anet suddenly put up all the legendary skins tomorrow in the gem store this forum would explode with people complaining about it.
Personally I’m just peeved that I spent 120g on a skin when I could have got it for half the price today.
Wow, I never post on the forums but this is straight up disgusting. If I knew this skin was going in I would have never wasted my gold on it.
Gem store armor sets do not count towards achievements though, so you still have an use for them culturals.
Fair enough. However with this move I’m less likely to bother with farming gold for cultural armor when I can just buy it in the gem store. Achievements are nice, but I’m all about the skins in the end.
This is assuming there’s going to be a slippery slope of cultural armor going in the gem store. If Anet actually says something, then I won’t worry about it,
