Cleansing Burst doesnt seem to count towards Condition Remover Daily.
Think this would be useless with nades but who cares it would be optional.
I have not tried it but supposedly loging out to character screen during event and coming back after will give you the achieve.
Now would this effect only aoe leap skills or all aoe skills?
Hey, Engie’s kits take up a skill slot while others have an entirely different and seperate way to switch weapons. Dont have to add upgrade slot to kits or attunements, just have a possible spot on equipment window that we can place 2 more sigils that bind them in some way that works similar to binding them to weapons.
I would prefer a diminishing returns effect to stuns and immobilize instead or at least not stack duration of stuns and immobilize.
PvE, PvP, or WvW?
I just wish we had a few trait presets for land and water, like 2-3 for both.

I guess I should switch over, thought I would get more stacks of vulnerability than I am currently getting. I might try FT, Flame Turret and Thumper Turret instead of Rifle Turret just to keep the Blind aoe and stealth combo and 6 might for friends.
I use something similar but instead of Fireforged Trigger I use Precise Sights and Flame Turret instead of Elixir Gun.
I only play Engineer. I mostly PvE with some WvW and once did PvP a year ago. I still hardly see any Engineers in Dungeons and Fractals.
Most people dont waste time going to turrets to destroy them so as long as you stay close enough to the turrets to get the boons and for them to reach target yet far enough so targets dont aoe them they will be a bit better, also knockbacks to keep targets away from them helps too. Better practiced in pve though.

I like the reflective shield but perhaps it could have had some immunity to all damage for 4 sec after being placed as well.
Its animation is bugged where both guns on the toolbelt skill aims directly up even though the bullets go forward.
EDIT: the skill bar animation has same issue.

So, Im making some variations with the turreteer builds now hitting into similar territory of a decap/boon dispensing condi machine.
With a mix of the Elite supply crate trait , the two new grandmasters the amount of support that comes with this build can change a team fight very quickly.
Solo Q wise, I felt like a hero… I dont mean a decap hero but I mean I contributed to the team fight significantly when I was involved and using turrets I could control a point without even being on it.

This build could also be used with power/rifle without any probs by switching out some traits and going for a power orientated amulet.

Buahahahaha, Elite supply drop change the fight, not traits themself; most of the boons provided right now lack a lot of utility (last realy too short) and only flame and riffle turret are useful for that matter.
As for forified turret, I wouldn’t give up riffled turret barrels for it, that trait is strongly situational, and most of the feared ranged attacks (illusionar blade, #2 ds necro) cannot be blocked anyway, it only leave those ranger/thief who will go melee if they see they cannot use ranged weapons.I would have rather those 2 gm traits merged into 1, so I could keep XII inventions which guarantee me that my turrets will cover more space when decap/mantain points.
And since there would be an empty slot in XIII inventions, what about if u pick up turrets the cooldowns get to 5 seconds? (except healing turret, OFC <.<).
Let me help you calculate this;
Flame turret 3 stacks of might + Elite Crate Flame turret? Another 3 stacks = 6 stacks of might for as long as those turrets are alive
Thumper Turret 4 seconds of Protection + Protection Injection or Protective Shield or Earth Runes, Grove Runes, or Forge = At least 11s of prot at most, 20seconds with forge.
Healing turret 4seconds of Vigor, + Elite Crate Healing Turret? 8 seconds of Vigor.
Flame turret can stack up to 6 might before the first 3 fall off so with supply crate it would be 12.
I am very fond of Runes of Strength at the moment. If you run Sigil of Battle and Sigil of Strength you will produce ridiculous physical and condition damage, especially if you have grenades to trigger SoS.
Instead of Sigil of Force?

I use to know how to build before 80 but then the patch came and now I do not know when you get a trait point.
…I don’t know if you’r being serious, but stop trying to brag every time you post. Being rank 80, especially after the last patch, doesn’t make you the best Engineer. Not by a mile. I don’t think anyone cares a lot about it, either.

I would prefer kit too, although it might be too similar to charrzooka.
I also guess anet did not anticipate the issue of if most of your friends/guildmates/party members are in a full map (which the point of the megaserver is to fill maps to full) then you cant join them.
I would prefer the system of choosing between Megaserver, Home World and possible Overflows. Or at the very least leave cities out of the Megaserver system.

I don’t know if the updates are gonna make turrets very popular. Maybe for awhile, but then drop quite a bit. Still worth trying though.
I did the same thing but with only 8 and they were rifles. The same with ascended rings from fractal daily chests. Mystic Forging them might make getting precursors too easy but should allow for salvaging even if they make them have a reduced chance of getting ectos or insignia/inscriptions. Otherwise all those ascended rings are useless and just build up.
I believe the chest resets daily.
I do like the the kit idea, but we do also need a elite turret even though mortar becoming a turret would be too similar rocket turret. Really do not think lowering the cd would help much, maybe adding a few seconds of invulnerability after placing it to you and the mortar. But yes it needs a range increase, maybe rival rangers distance.
With the HGH trait chosen, Toss Elixirs say they give two Might but only gives one.
This actually happens with every backpack and kit I believe. At least my Mad King Memories: Complete Edition does.
The bottom tier is still fun, little to none exploiting and abusing.
Carts to load up supplies on to be able to build sieges easier. Field cannons. Something to ride on to get people from one point to another rather than waypoints. Maybe one of those stairs that let people over a wall. Tents and fires for 1 supply each just for fun.

Did anyone notice that they deleted the post about it in the News and Announcements section?
Works for me when I tried them.
I used all turrets to lvl from 1 to 80 and then some. Switched to a support build for dungeons, played bunker in spvp. Did WvW and farming with grenades. For those who think you are forced into a specific build are wrong. Unless your picking random gear with random traits, you will be fine. Just study the traits and gear and try not to waste money on switching constantly.

Sorry, don’t mean to be a grammar nazi or anything but fixxed is supposed to be fixed, i can handle the mistake once but you kept doing it. Anyway, instead of changing siege prices remove repair costs when being killed by players. I do agree with the commander thing, plus they should add multiple ranks instead of just commander. with different icons and different distances you can see the icons. But leave the JP those are my favorite ones other than Mad Kings.
Flame Jet range does need to be increased. The effect reaches way farther than the range of the damage and the range of the effect is fine. Plus offhand Pistols Blowtorch has 600 range, why does Flame Jet only have 425?

8) Engineer: Let’s be honest. Engineer can pack quite a punch. He is also the fastest runner on the field. But that’s about it. He got no jump skills whatsoever. Moreover, he got no good escapes. He’s strong in 1v1 and ZvZ. He absolutely can’t evade the focus of 2-3 guys hunting him down. Even a Ranger can do better. That’s why he’s dead last here.
No jump skills? Wrong sir. No good escape? Half wrong. Cant evade the focus of 2-3 guys? Depends on your build and who is chasing you.
How about everyone and being able to switch between two saved builds easily without having to remember what they were? Outside of combat of course.
As a player of DR I personally got bored the entire week of landslide victories, if i wanted to fight Npcs I would do dungeons. You think I would have spent that time farming gold for commander but no, lol.
