Questions about the Pact Commander line:
Thematically, it would be a perfect fit.
Guild Wars is a game of horizontal progression and skins.
It’s probably Torch. Don’t get your hopes up.
I love it when Chris lays down the smack.
I actually like underwater combat. It’s just that ANet seems to put in so little effort.
Underwater Combat is cancelled. Pretty much.
I predict Heart of Thorns will have no underwater areas, and Jormag will freeze over all existing waters we can swim in, killing all the poor Quaggan.
Like I said, (Perma-)Fury uptime. Remember Warrior has traits for bleed/vuln on crit as well.
I don’t care about perfect DPS. I want good DPS, and enjoy playing. I don’t enjoy Greatsword because it roots you in place. That’s it.

Back on topic:
I’m currently using Sword/Axe. I understand that Axe 5 has horrible DPS, but I rely on Axe 4 to build up a good uptime of Fury. Using the trait, banner, and fury alone I can already get 50% precision. Nearly 100% including gear. Are there better sources of Fury so I can switch my offhand? But then again, the whirl finisher on Axe 5 is kinda neat.
But to say this is who I am and my opinion is the one that matters?.
He did no such thing. He said his opinion was valid, not that his opinion was superior and the only correct one.
What would you say the optimal mix between ferocity (Zerker) and condi (Sinister) is?
Also, am I right in assuming that the 15% attack speed from Dual Wielding comes down to a 15% damage boost (+ crit procs)? Because I find it more enjoyable over Berserker’s Power.
There is no beta going on.
That and for all we know the Warrior spec could be Daggers and Preparations/Venoms.
Curious as well. Fast Hands pretty much defines a warrior.
In short, any news where this trait went? Baseline or killed?
Traiting into Chronomancer sounds pretty much mandatory, not a specialization.
Did someone say raffle? I’ll pick 47.
For Auroraflow Overglade!
Character name most easily typed is ‘Cilph Issilnor’
Yeah, I uhh…confirm this bug exists…
How about releasing patch notes early?
Huh? Trinity? But we only have warriors. I wish they added Mesmers from GW1 to this game.
pugger detected
Nah, I hate PUGs with a passion. I mainly play with the guild. Just fed up with the special treatment warriors seem to be getting.

Would just like to point out that being hacked is entirely your own fault and responsibility. Don’t take it out on ArenaNet.
40 tries on the Princess Doll. I give up.
Why in the name of cute cuddly quaggans and all that is sane…..did you even stay with these DERANGED LUNATICS?
Undead area with spiders on an island below Sanctum Cay.
Same skin as Leather/Seer/Pit.
Can confirm. This is referring to the meta-event in Bloodtide Coast involving Taidha Covington aka The Hydra Queen.
Gold event completion was earned, and I was around for the full time to attack the boss.
Defensive Warrior. Tanking 6 regular mobs at a time is quite amusing.
Don’t see the problem. I was able to solo this on my Mesmer and Warrior, who’ve both completed the map.
As for the skillpoint (which is in Fireheart Rise) Jack of Tears is talking about, that one isn’t all that difficult either as long as you hurry and get out of there before the entire map is after you.
Heck yeah. I rolled a Warrior to play dungeons with instead of my 80 Mesmer because the only thing I was good for was Time Warp, Null Field and Feedback.
And this is why most people thing mesmers are bad. Because most people do better when they play a class that you can faceroll through a dungeon. This isn’t wrong, this is why those other classes were made.
This isn’t just my opinion either. Arena Net said they released info about classes based on their complexity. Warrior was one of the first to be released. Mesmer was the very last. They MADE mesmers to be harder to play.
But this doesn’t mean mesmers are bad. This just means they are harder to play.
I absolutely love playing my Mesmer, but I feel bad when grouping with friends because I know my Warrior can just faceroll and be of more help than I am then. I’m not an idiot when it comes to Mesmers. I don’t have a crappy build, I know what I’m doing and I’ve played one in GW1 for quite a while.
When a class is harder to play, this should have a benefit to it. Even when played by a professional, the class is just inferiour compared to another professional playing a Warrior.
I mean, kittens, Mesmers can’t throw their illusionary Greatsword behind them, while Warriors can (Warrior GS #4 skill, works like Mesmer #2). I feel something more is at play here.

You don’t see any Mesmers in Orr because Orr is nothing more than a who-can-tag-the-fastest funfest, and Mesmers, aside from a (now even more nerfed) Chaos Storm, or Phantasmal Berserker have no fast AoE skills available.
Warriors pretty much have it all. Damage, Range, Durability, Support, the works. I’ve shelved my 80 Mesmer because the only thing he seems to be good for is Time Warp and Feedback.
I get that Mesmers are good in PvP, but it’s pretty poor design that Warriors can just faceroll their keyboards and outperform Mesmers in PvE.
Crit Damage is not the same thing as Crit Chance. A successful Crit (determined by crit chance) does (50crit damage)% damage. At level 80, every 21 precision above base grants 1% extra crit chance.
Jump on the stem of that mushroom, or fall to your death

I admit I have joined in these discussions on WSR. I’m a Dutchman and I find the use of languages other than English on EU servers over mapchat incredibly rude. English is an international language and most Europeans speak it.
I don’t care what you speak over guild or party, but leave it out of map.
I’ve only heard about this via-via but Glacial Lodestones are a misspelled item and are therefore about five times as cheap as all the other lodestones. 20s instead of 1g. It might be wise to stock up on these to make a profit later.
The only other lodestone that is as cheap are the ones obtained from massive CoF farming that has been going on.
Those are part of the map…
You also sell higher editions of the games and advertise that players get a 5-day golem banker for paying more for their copy of the game, and now you say PERMANENT bankers drop from BL chests?
WHAT THE HELL is wrong with you people?
THIS. THIS I truly do not understand. If you see no problem with giving people Permanent Portable XYZ, why did DD owners, who paid an extra €20, get limited use items?
The conduit is not currently a part of the Black Lion Chest. Sorry for the confusion.
@ John Smith: I would like to thank you for causing a market crash on Mystic Conduits that allowed me to make a 5g profit.
I’ll let you decide for yourself if that was sarcasm or not.
Email Authentication is a form of two-factor security.
It applied confusion back in beta, but the tooltip hasn’t been updated.
There is likely going to be a patch tomorrow, as well as every Monday from now on, as some staff have commented that feature X / fix Y will be included in patch 24/9.
I was exploring WvW and wanted to get the skill point in the top left corner of the map(The ratmen are there) So as I get to the spot I see about 50 Northern Shiverpeak bots, just running around in a circle. What they are doing the events there over and over again. I got up above them and shot at them with my bow over and over again. Not one ever came up after me.
Can the GMs please look into this.
You should’ve just killed them all for those sweet Badges…
I have 100% World Completion as well as all Explorer titles. I have however not completed my personal story. My title progress is stuck on 97%.
Guild Wars 2 is not a java application like Minecraft. This won’t work and the game has no need for such tricks anyway.
For pure magic find, yes. But the parrot the full set bonus spawns can take out approx. 1.5 of a mob on his own, and he’s adorable.
50% magic find. You’re right.
Same for my Precision Melee Mesmer, though Rampager is an effective, somewhat glass cannon substitute.
