I highly suggest looking up TTS if in NA. I lead the fight against the wurm for over a year and the content isn’t as hard as people think but requires numbers and people to listen two the three commanders.

teq event you got to be in the maps 30min before the event as well . think its been like that since the game changed .

Tequtal we used to setup an hour before the fight when the mega laser had a bug in it which didn’t fire however now days you can set up less than 10 mins or none at all.

I highly suggest lowering things like model limit and how far you see which won’t effect graphic too much and go from there

I don mind playing with the new people it changes the game everyone not stacking and seem like a new game.

There a reason why mods do this and not a random player. Yes, Pictures can show the misdeeds of another player however they also can be created in a way where it’s more favorable to the creator of the image by them leaving out things they may not wish others to see. An actual mod has the tools to check an whole conversation or even what happens within a pvp match.

I’ve unlocked so many over the last few weeks doing pvp tracks and nothing great other than mini claim tickets which is okay if you get more than one. I had hope for even something of value such as a black lion kit but even that didn’t show however did get a few useless use bank items.

I’ve learn win lose it doesn’t matter because it’s a joke… get the rewards and that’s it.

Do you remember the threads fussing when the wings were new and everyone had black or white wings?
Do you remember when commander tags were new and threads were fussing how everyone was tagged up in cities and random places?
Do you remember when mentor tags were new and threads were fussing about all the mentor tags?
Do you remember when the raven glider was new and threads were fussing about all the raven gliders everywhere?

I suggest that people remember these things when they see something new in game and everyone is using it.

None, Anet doesn’t really care or can police kicking due to stats, level or class. You’re best off looking for a group which isn’t elitist or just following and not joking the squad.

I highly suggest one of every character because they all play different.

Odd most MMO I’ve played tend to have the maps in the top right of the screen. I’ve never see any that has it in bottom middle.

AOE attacks can be best for tagging however single attacks do work well too just have to switch targets and know more when you hit the damage limit. Every class tends to have some type of aoe or multi hit as well.

A lot of players will limit them self so others can tag bosses etc… as well heal others when down I use runes of mercy to help and Rez others.

I highly suggest turning some settings down such as stuff to do with draw distances and model limit which won’t much effect the graphics but because the tons of people required for teq and depending on how well stacked on commander has a slight effect on fps then start lowering other settings as needed.

Each expansions have their own set of mastery which you won’t be able to use hot mastery even if you buy path of fire (if you don’t buy hot) as well you only earn mastery points to that expansions so if you’re in a hot map you won’t earn mastery points for path of fire.

(I could be slightly wrong about this however pretty sure it’s correct)

The problem isn’t people are playing support it’s that people are getting paired up with more support than damage.

Yeah, current forums will never see a major overhall unless they fully rework the forums by hiring someone new. It’s sad because they left out so many features etc the forums could really used. I wouldn’t even be upset if they redid the forums fully and removed every old post to have a great working forums.

I’ve just had two matches in a row where someones afk during the match where one was close and we lost due to the person going afk during the last minute of the match and the other where the warrior just was afk after everyone died first time.

This is pretty much what brings me down in PVP as you have no control over it and once you lose that one person you’re pretty much screwed the rest of the match. There isn’t any coming back from losing a player because they sign up and choosed to go do something else than play the thing they queued. While you can report idle players it doesn’t do anything because it doesn’t help you what so ever to do so because you already lost.

If you think this is because it’s bronze well it’s not it’s silver league which makes it even worst. I hate PVP so much for this reason I really don’t much care to play it and find PVP to be one of the funniest jokes Anet has gave us year after year.

Sure, I could choose not to play the content however than I would be missing out on rewards etc that you can’t get anywhere else. If you’re thinking well you shouldn’t do it for the rewards well maybe so but that’s my choice.

The other thing I dislike but can slightly with stand is the fact you’ll see multi classes within the same battle I’ll end up fighting three necros which will melt the team because no one has enough condi cleanse or getting three theifs, rangers or something on our team which may be good will cause a lost because it’s not good for team fights. The only upside it can happen to the other team too however that’s awful to hope.

Edit: Yep, Wonderful PVP played a match with a teamate not wearing any armor etc…. yet because he chooses to troll or fix the match everyone else suffers for that choice.

Edit Again: Then get in another match with the kittening same person kitten you anet.

You shouldn’t imply stuff because you always view it as something your aginst.

It’s not just guardians you notice them more because they are the least favorite to play aginst however every class does show up too fequent because there is no limits on how many can be blank class so you’ll end up with 3 or more of the same classes sometimes and while they may be one class they may be one of the core classes or one of the hot classes.

No one said that they want it asap only you asumed they did because your aginst it. Yes, they can be working on tons of things some things people will like some things people will hate who knows. The forums is for input and really there no downside to this input other than well they would need to shift focus sometime to do it.

I don’t really find the thing a big enough problem however I do see why some others might. I don’t think this would take a huge time to add within the game all it’s doing is making a check box or a rebind option to change it.

If your worried about it taking away from something else being made well it will but because Anet doesn’t tell us anything they are working on it really shouldn’t matter.

I don’t see privacy as such a big deal. Yes, It could be improved however unless your in the same guild they only know which map you’re on and don’t know the location even than you may be in a different instants than them.

If you are being harassed the best action you have is to block the person and than report them. It would be nice to have an feature to set where location only shows to people who accepted each other as friends and guilds but I however don’t see Anet ever doing this.

The fight isn’t really that hard it’s more about getting the numbers to do the fight than the battle being tough and while you can have numbers you need to have a near even number to each wurm. Teamspeak isn’t required for the fight at all however it will make things slightly simpler. You can achive everything done in map chat or say chat if you have people that listen to you however being able to speak your commands does help save time.

I used to lead the wurm fight nearly 2-4 times a week for over a year and yes there will be some bad fights which happens because wurms can do some crazy things as well as the husk however it’s something which can happen if people put the effort in to learning a few simple things.

Yes, The standard price of Guild Wars was $60 however it’s no long that anymore. The price of products drop over time and while you may paid $60 for it over time it’s had many sales even as low as a $10 game.

You could say that this is the new price slandered price of the game. Which wouldn’t be so far off because even if you take a look at world of Warcraft standard price of the base game is $10. If you take a look at character prices they are pretty much the same.

You however are upset that you can’t get a “copy” of guild wars 2 to give away? They are giving away two free items however you only get one and they are giving away the free option which should help you the most.

They are giving the free items to “you” not your friends but to the person who buys the expansion. They reward you for buying the expansion where if you buy and down own the base game you get it for free and if you do you get a character slot.

The thing about all this is they aren’t going to give you another account even with the new players buying they can’t split the base / expansion they are not able to buy the expansion and give expansion to another player and just keep base game. They could give you the base game but it would apply to your account which would do nothing.

The report system is very out of date and isn’t really that funcional for reporting players & members.

I don’t know what background information is submitted when reporting but I would hope it would include things which could better help like what map the person is on etc…

I would like to see a comment box to be added into each and every report that way you could give a little more detail of what you seen. The whole reason for this if someone is exploiting you could say what you seen and a GM could check it out. As well you could give details about names saying why it shouldn’t be allowed aka this name means blank in my language or the person pet name is blank.

Would be nice if it submitted a screenshot as well of the screen to take a image for proof. While yes it wouldn’t always be perfect as the person may teleported away or something else but it may offer a little extra help for GM.

I’m slightly upset that I lost my Tequatl kill because “shadows” had to be removed.

I love when patches happen because I know things are getting fixed and what not… but is there no better time to apply a patch then at spawn of tequatl? I get that you want it to be when server reset hits… but still it can suck at times. Which I’m fine with it happening at reset but is it possible to delay patches when only one thing has to be patch unless that one thing is patching something really needed?

I think it’s fantastic that there are events that can’t be done by just any disorganized group of PUGs. There shouldn’t be a lot of these events, but there should always be a few things in the game that only appeal to a certain group, in the same that SAB has a diehard group of supporters (and is considered “meh” by the majority).

And how is it not reasonable? I don’t think it’s unreasonable for people who are going to organize a run for Teq or Wurm to do things to ensure that most people in the area are wanting to do the event and willing to listen to and follow their instructions.

I don’t see a ton of posts in here going it fails often even when organized groups do it. It’s the content designed for organized groups. Not disorganized PUGs.

And you never answered my question earlier. What makes your dungeon groups so special that you shouldn’t be kicked because it’s your group, your rules, but when another group gets together to do group content and makes rules that you don’t like, it’s suddenly not ok for them to be immune to be kicked out of the leadership role?

we can have raid bosses w/o exclusivity, the boss will STILL require organization, this thread is merely suggesting we remove manpower as a limiting factor because individual people deserve an honest attempt

Why, they have so many other events they can choose to do. Tequtal and Tri Trouble are group events they should need people in order to win. You’re asking them to scale down the event so when you don’t have the numbers you can finish it but then when does the limit of it scaling down needs to stop. If you can solo it no longer a group event. There’s a point in the war where you may never have the people where you can win. We had to call off Wurm raids at times due to people not showing up. Which sucks but we know we can try again later or tomorrow.

This is why i prefer random times for world bosses, with a notification across the screen alerting players. I don’t like synchronized timers, because of the issues of overflows and disruption to zones.

I understand GW2 needs difficult content, but pugs within the zone should be able to have a chance at it too. Get rid of the timer on Teq and Wurm, and they can keep trying at it until they can get it right. During this time, people can organize and help each other. As it is now, only organized players get this chance.

Timers should be left for guilds only, and give them extra chances at better RNG and rewards.

edit: nevermind, i realized guilds can start one.

If there wasn’t a timer then there wouldn’t be a reason to even organize. It would be just the same as it was before boss week. The timer is the only thing that makes it able to fail.

I did hate Tequtal once boss week came out… but once I learned how to play the content I loved it. I even learned how to lead the whole map to kill Tequtal. I’m sadly not able to lead right now cause my computer is unable to since it’s not working but the second I fix it I’ll be leading the map once again.

I even wrote a guide for Tequtal which is free to use by anyone. While it doesn’t go into detail about zerg leading I’m willing to help anyone out. Tequtal doesn’t require team speak however many of us like to use it because guild wars 2 chat supress us when explaining the fight. You can even do tri trouble wurm without the help of team speak but it will be slightly harder to setup.

The irony of it all is that anyone can join TTS, download TS, and then get instant-successful Teq/Triple Trouble/Etc raids anytime they want.

tts is a very welcoming guild. They usually want a fresh instance because they cannot include enough people.

If anything, tts are reacting to a problem with megaservers

There is only a handful of reasons why someone would have been kicked out of the guild. We don’t kick people if they don’t rep our guild in fact the only time we ask people to rep is during a raid and it’s setup. As long you weren’t kicked out because you got banned from the guild you should be able re-apply whenever you feel like it.

However there something currently wrong with our site right now so no applications to join our guild will be sent to us at this time. There will be a post on our site as soon as we can get it fixed.

Banned:
As you would guess you would have been banned from the guild, since you didn’t get a notice about being banned I don’t think that would be the case.

Guild Missions:
If invited for guild missions then you’re only temporary invited to the guild. Once the guild missions are finished anyone who was invited just for guild missions are kicked out at the end of it.

Purge:
Every month we have something called a purge which is to help free up the spaces in our guilds in-order to invite new people into the guild. When someone is invited into the guild they are auto set active however every month after that they will need to at least show up to one of our raids during a whole month to be reset to active again.

Error (Mistakes):
While we would hope this never happens it can happen still. Mostly it’s an error with permissions of new members enter here isn’t reset to the correct spot.

If they want players to focus on learning the core game experience , they need to give players much better rewards, not few boxes and a green wtf is that kitten.

Increase reward for team effort and you will increase number of players willing to do it.
If you take reward away from events no one is going to play it.

You do realize you’re not able to wear a rare armor until level 35 right? So by the time your that level you should be out of queensdale. I do agree however rewards do need some tweaking.

We don’t kill for the loot. We do it because it’s hard content and we like hard content.

Well server mostly only matter in world vs world now… so unless you’re really wanting to change I would just stick with the server your on now. There really no reason to change unless it’s too wvw.

Yes, It can be done in fact it was done early today. So it can be done but it does require a lot of people willing to listen on how to fight it.

I’m all for remakes but on mmos there really not needed. Guild Wars still is up and running if people do want to play that they should do it! It’s not like it cost to play it. A remake really wouldn’t change anything about it but the graphics which depending on how they made it they could upgrade that them self without a whole new game. If you do change other things about the game then it wouldn’t really be guild wars 1 anymore.

There reasons why people have moved on but most of it’s not due to the graphics of the game there many people who don’t care how well a game looks. Sometimes even remakes aren’t better then the original games.

I however wouldn’t mind them putting past events from the games into fractals.

It does seem like it and they do go out there way to punish people who do post about it then just tell them not to try to post names but I guess mostly to keep other safe in case there not doing any wrong doing who knows anet might gave them the tools for them to cheat at the game.

I don’t mind healing but I wished it wouldn’t scale so poorly for the ones who do choose to go after the healing stats… manly right now there is little reasons to choose any type of healing stats because they don’t really effect anything it’s mostly a worthless stats choice.

He uses that pick up line to all the races in Tyria. He’s not found a date yet.

if you want to kill tequatl, get there very early like 1 hour beforehand….then afk and do something else while parking ur char in Sparkfly Fen.

You never want to afk and the reason for that is if guilds do come in and try to help set up the event to get the map the kill and there people afking and not listening then chances are them guilds aren’t going to try for the kill.

If you get into a map you always want to be listening to the people who are trying to help run the event. There a number of people which has to be alive and ready to kill teq in order for it to have a chance.

o.0 All classes have a unique design some more then others. While yes every other class has a cool down timer they each have a unique perks about them.

In ways warriors have slight initiative like setup with the F1 skill as well as Mesmer with there F1-F4 skills.

Congrats on finish the content so soon however you may want to take some time when doing content so you don’t burn your self out on it so soon. Just because you or others (like my self) finished it in two days doesn’t mean others have they also need time to finish the content and would be unfair to only give such a short time to achive that goal.

They did have something which you could change your traits at anytime without visiting the trait trainer. They removed it from the gem shop. I don’t think people should be able to re-trait on the fly.

When you select a trait it should have some meaning of to which weapon or skills you would need for what your wanting to do. If you’re going to do a dungeon etc you can always change before and after you finish by visiting a town which you may have to do anyways to stock back up on tools or go to bank. It really doesn’t take a whole lot of time. You don’t need to make a whole new character because it wouldn’t be any faster by you having to switch characters so you can get the traits you need.

People go to lion arch not because it’s social they go because it’s simple and convenient. You was able to get there without having to pay anything by using spvp or wvw. Sadly much like you are now with Vigil Keep which will cause it to become a temp lions arch even if there towns of other cities which could do this.

By not adding any laurel shop it doesn’t effect how the temporary refuge could or can be social. The convenient pass to air ship isn’t going to be any more social then Queen’s Royal Terrace which is the same thing pretty much. Keep in mind your able to do everything inside them for free without paying any gems by going to any city.

I for one do hope they Spread out all over the game instead because all other places have become less of a home to people. Anet never took away anything which can make people be social you can do that anywhere you want to do.
