It’s hilarious that IRON is trying to claim that they did nothing wrong.

When half of IRON runs into the spectators whenever they get low and then drop combat by running north into the trees and using the ramp at the windmill your guild should be embarrassed and the video will be up shortly showing exactly how pathetic IRON is.

I hate to join this type of bullkitten conversation, but TC had outmanned buff at that time. The GvG was also over, participants had already bowed to each other and we just decided to suicide into the BG blob with outmanned buff on to close out the night. Didn’t go according to plan though since most of the BG there died =(

Pretty much this, the fact that you think you were outnumbered shows how delusional people are when counting enemy numbers. You spent so long killing an outmanned group of TC you almost lost hills, should probably be thankful I don’t command properly anymore.

We are not recruiting guilds and many, myself included, would prefer some of these guilds went to other servers so there was some semblance of competition past reset night. That said, guilds are free to do as they wish and no-one on TC can stop them from transferring, nor can I blame them as the atmosphere of WvW is great here.

The fact that anyone from SoS is trying to make any judgements on skill level is laughable as whenever I personally have found you even on a map you’re far squishier than FA and it’s not even remotely challenging to kill you solo or in a group. As for FA I don’t like you guys personally but I sure am hoping you guys get some transfers (and you seem to have gotten at least one that I noticed today) because you put up far more of a fight than SoS or any other server we’ve faced in the last month, so good luck to you.

If this is the best EB has to offer in terms of individual ability you guys are going to suffer in the 1 v 1 tournament.

If anyone from any of the three server has questions about AC spots please feel free to PM me rather than bring it on the forums, this has been going on for weeks and it’s ridiculous that it’s still happening.

Hopefully there are some more 1-2 man roamers from DB/EB later in the week.

We were so scared of Kaineng we figured out ahead of time that we’d be fighting them, and that they’d be the red borderland. We purposely sent them to spy on you because you posed such a threat to TC. Boring match boring week.

Hopefully REN doesn’t send anyone to the supposed 1 v 1 tournament, would be embarrassing to watch you guys trying to fight. If you nut up in the next 8 or so hours let me know, until then enjoy 3rd.

It’s pretty clear from actually reading it that the focus of his comments are people who are already zerging (even though some points, like using food, apply to anyone). He also mentioned way up front that coverage was enough to keep you from actually winning, which ultimately seems to be what ‘tier’ has come down to thus far, so I don’t know why you’re saying ’they’re tier 2’ as though it was being ignored.

I appreciate that you read his post, but did you read mine? My simple point, which has also been reiterated by a few posts from my server mates, was plain: don’t tell other people how to play the game. If someone asks for your advice, then give it. But coming to the forums and typing some blanket novel to others on how to “lose better” by telling them how to spec, which character to play, which abilities to use, etc. does a lot more harm than any good, as demonstrated by the posts that followed that guy’s.

To Crystal Desert:

You don’t need to “learn” anything. For the two weeks before this nightmare we’re in now, I saw you come to the table and win twice against servers who were higher “rankings” than you according to http://mos.millenium.org/na/matchups/, but were basically even on overall coverage. Nothing has changed now. The meta we used to win those matches is the meta necessary to win those matches. Those are the ones we need to win. Those are actually even and competitive. We don’t need tier 2 meta. We’re not tier 2.

To Tarnished Coast:

If there is anyone who needs to “learn” from this match, it’s your small man groups. This is where we shine. We enjoy the 3 – 10 man fights, something you are not used to with your zergs. We actually use the target system – you know, hitting the TAB button or left clicking a name. Since you’ve forgotten, this allows you to actually use an ability against a single person. You also have to time your dodges, use your stun breakers effectively, and watch your opponent to gauge his/her cool downs so you know when to capably use your abilities.

Also there is a major problem when one of our berserker warriors eats an entire 100 blades from a TC player and it only takes 1/5 of our warrior’s total health. That tells us that your players are so used to running pvt gear that they don’t even know how to properly fight in smaller skirmishes. They are so used to the zerg meta that they are clueless to anything else.

If you need more advice, all you have to do is ask. I’m sure we can help you “learn” from this engagement, just as you’ve graciously offered your advice.

If you want some lessons about small group fighting I’m sure I can organise some. Feel free to find me whenever I’m on.

Just wanna chime in and say I’ve personally had 84 people show up in a supply count before with more running around inside the tower I was in at the time and I’m assuming more on the map elsewhere, I’d say it is within the realms of possibility. This was on the first day of the WXP patch though.

Was fun on SoS BL when the guilds actually fought individually.

As has been stated multiple times we do not use these “zoom hacks”and every single time someone has tried to accuse us of it we have proven them wrong. Feel free to educate yourself on how to siege a place as the 3 trebs and 3 entrances you have trying to take bay seem to not be working for you.

Pretty much. Between TC/FA, and glicko, DB’s gonna be here for a long while. If JQ stabilizes, most likely forever until one of the T2 servers slip down. Mag is gaining in glicko, so the stakes are high. And creeping back u kitten ea of Sorrows, who may see T3 action soon too. It could go quite a few ways. :o

Since when have servers stabilized though, hopefully they just complete the fall fast and DB can go to Tier 1 and the cycle can start all over again and we can have a decent match for a week or two. Been a fairly boring week hopefully it’ll be better next week.

Any class can get up there, people have whined for months about this but any halfway competent group can deal with it.

Dear lord. The fights on the south island of FABL tonight were epic. That was insane PINK/CERN vs VK vs RE Crazy.

Was fun, good to fight people for once even if we were a bit outnumbered.

We have had 40 people at most all evening. That said I’ve killed more people tonight than in the past 2 weeks of the last matchup good to see people finally showing up and staying around.

But in all honestly, FA has not really done anything differently. If anything, I think we are playing more relaxed this week and not spending as much time as we usually do in WvW. For whatever reason, that seems to be working.

Really the main reason is indeed kaineng not showing up this week, we’ve never had the coverage to match either server in oceanic/SEA time and with kaineng not showing up at all FA can take such a commanding lead during these timezones and upgrade freely giving us an uphill battle during NA time when we are stronger.

That said it’s been fun enough during this week and while it hasn’t been particularly competitive on our maps we’ve been enjoying ourselves so thanks to those who show up to fight us.

It stops caps but it is very easy to kill people on top of it, ranged attacks will hit, AOE goes through the roof and mesmer pulls can be utilized to kill anyone on top of the roof. It is really no different than the tower on the north west supply camp.

In addition to this any class is able to get up there, some have it a little easier than others though.

TC had such hard time to do something else than zerg sticking that it takes them 3hours to capture KN garison and now they whines it’s OP lol, should start learning game mechanisms first then ^^
I was rezzing lord with warbanner and I am very tough to kill. We had good fun fight was epic and took ages and plenty bags for the keep you didn’t have it for free you must pay with blood lol.
And yes it’s a very specific build. For sure you learned something.

You tried to say this on the matchup thread as well, at least 30-40 of us never died once in those 3 hours so blood was not paid with. In the end we set up at west inner and just waited to farm you.

On-topic: I do agree it needs to be nerfed somewhat, and I do like the downed penalty idea so you can banner res ~5 times but I do think it should remain in some form.

Didn’t die once taking KN garrison, had to leave eventually the first time as we’d lost our southern half of the map minus bay, took about 15 minutes to recap then finish off garrison, was a fun couple of hours.

When your oceanic/asian players come on and outnumber us three to one or more of course we will set up and defend. It is both smart and incredibly profitable. As a result of our defence at hills your entire map gave up and we retook the entire borderland. If you want good fights you can come find the NA guilds during NA time, until then you’re not going to get what you want as you vastly outnumber everyone else in your time zone.

Well, now TC is showing how non-innocent they can be. Don’t get me wrong, there’s great people on TC (every server has great people) but please stop toting yourselves as the most innocent/civil server, because you’re not. Your trolls, just like every server’s trolls, prevent TC from being the godsend, most civil server. If that person was from PiNK, that sucks, because its tarnishing PiNK’s name. Sunspots seems like a really nice person, so I’m sure s/he will deal with this person if this person is from PiNK.

Hint – being an RP server does not prove innocence.

Deyja is a good commander, and like all good commanders he gets harassed daily both in private tells and group invites. Looks like he finally broke and fought back a little though it was probably not in the right way. Hopefully we can all agree to be more civil in game with eachother so good guys aren’t pushed so far they break character. Great fights everyone and we will see you tonight!

I imagine we’ll probably lose some stuff in TCBL but we held garrison and bay and the two north towers despite whatever it was MEOW was doing in bay and Fa’s attempts up north despite having less than 20 people on the map.

I hope Friday night hasn’t been an indicator of the week as we never found any skirmishes and finally joined in with commanders just to have a chance of a fair fight. That PINK/PiNK/Pink (whatever it is) guild hawking QL, Danelon, etc early on was just a big ole zerg bag farming DB.

I really wish there was a tier full of DB sized servers. I like the no queues and skirmish fighting but that system simply doesn’t work well against TC sized servers it seems.

We had 2 15 man tactical squads on EB working alongside TV, please do not insult our guild by calling us a zerg. That said I personally managed 280 badges for the time we were running as a guild.

You outnumbered us quite badly and we managed to take it the first time, you retook it when we left it to defend SM and then as we took the outer gate for bay the second time I got the sound bug and restarted and CD was hitting our BL so we pulled out again.

I will look forward to upgrading bay tomorrow when I wake up.

It wasn’t quite all 40, I managed to hide 3 of the golems in our keep before the stupidity of the golem rush and hopefully they’ll still be there when we can get our act together and go towards something useful.

No, it was quite 41. We were wondering for a while who is constantly stealing them, but then someone threw in a new batch of blueprints for good laughs and it presumably stopped being an issue. Well, I guess – enjoy them, but next time feel free to ask, I will personally give you few if you’re so desperate, there’s really no need to result to thievery, especially from someone who likes to title themselves a “commander”.

There were 10 left in the keep after the incident with the oil, so I moved three to prevent further silliness.

It has been a fun week and a bit fighting against YB and FA. You guys have certainly stepped up your game over this weekend especially with camp defence which is very impressive if slightly annoying on our end :P. I look forward to leading the rest of the week against you and possibly next week as well.
