Instead of having rewards added for the achievements, my credit for the achievements was removed.
Tried whispering you in game, but looks like you were afk. If this is the same bug I am thinking of, Fire shaman will reset when you go into melee with him while he is in tornado form/add phase.
He is actually pretty easy to solo if you stay at range and run a build with plenty of sustain. Just pull adds from over by where the npc’s stand and keep killing them till he turns back into a charr. After he does that, kite him around and and work him down till he turns back into a tornado. Rinse and repeat 3 times and he will die and the event will complete.
During each Charr phase he has new abilities to watch out for. The first one he uses a flurry ability similar to warrior sword f1, it will kill you so don’t get hit.
The second phase he throws an axe that hits very hard and also stops in place spinning with the axe like ranger axe 5, he reflects projectiles while doing this, so stop attacking with projectiles.
The third phase he does lava fonts like an elementalist, stay moving constantly so you don’t get hit as they will kill you.
The event in Timberline Falls, “Escort the Whispers team to the grawl camp” is bugged. the npc’s stall out and don’t move. This blocks progress on Flameseeker Prophecies I.

Obviously as a pvper the Ele just sucks at pve.
I have to second the mentions of Rifle over Hammer. The daze on Gunflame procs Distracting Strikes and Body Blow. A 1200 Range attack that hits hard, drops 3 Burning, Weakness, 2 Bleed and 4 Confusion is very solid. You also have Rifle 5 to Proc your traits and the new evade added for an extra dodge.
I’ve been running Sigil of Earth and Sigil of Tormenting too, in conjunction with Weakness from Body Blow and Vulnerability from Rifle 2/4 you can bury the Confusion pretty well.
I have been having good luck running a viper’s amulet using Mace/Shield and Rifle.
Traits are:
Strength – Peak Performance, Body Blow, Distracting Strikes
Defense – Shield Master, Sundering Mace, Last Stand
Berserker – Smash Brawler, Blood Reaction, Eternal Champion
Healing Signet, Bull’s Charge, Berserker Stance, Endure Pain, Head Butt
I have decent staying power, and commonly stack 8-12 confusion on people. The confusion gets buried under a ton of weakness/bleed/vulnerability as well which makes it pretty devastating.
Nah, i rather have the warrior equip the banner on his back and have it move with him. If they do that, banners would see soo much more play.
It would also help warrior out with their number one problem = sustain. Could take that banner regen trait with them. Would also be good for pve. So many times when i’ve dropped banners, people just abandon them and not take them with the group.
I have thought this many times, especially after seeing how Rev’s Glint utilities work.
It would be amazing if when I activated a banner, it sprouted out of my back and while I had the banner active it would be overwritten with whatever the banner’s unique bundle “2” skill is… For example Banner of Discipline would be activated and last it’s 90 seconds. While active I could hit “7,” or whatever I had it bound to, to grant Fury in an aoe. Then after 90 seconds it goes on its remaining cooldown.
Another way this could be implemented would be instead of the trait giving regen, which I’ve always thought was silly, it would make each banner that you have active pulse their unique bundle skill “2” ability in an aoe. Battle Standard for Stability, Strength for Vulnerability, Defense would cause an aoe knockback. etc etc.. The duration and ICD of each ability could be reworked to make them more balanced.
Moral of the story is banners and their trait are pretty lame and boring and could be MUCH cooler.
I dont see anybody talking about making axe better for ranger. Is this because it is so horrible that it’s a lost cause?
I would really like to see it redesigned to either a full condi or full damage weapon and not it’s current hybrid state where it is horrible in both roles.
What do you guys think?
I have it, I love the weapon, but it is much cooler on ranger as the bouncing Astralaria is sweet looking. Too bad ranger axe is arguably worse than warrior axe which is saying something.
I dislike blood reckoning in pvp, but in pve it’s actually pretty decent with a high crit build.
Could we get the cast time reduced to .25 seconds?
This may seem odd as I know most people want to lazily camp Healing Signet and just take the static heal. When I get condi-bombed, having a 1.25 second cast time means I lose half my hit points before getting the cast off, or it gets interrupted and I die. The Resistance boon on cast is great, but not as useable as it should be imo.

Also, since the nerf the TD meta is finished pretty consistently now. If you take the time to learn the mechanics in each of the lanes, that zone has alot of fun events in it.

I got mine and was definitely not the first to hit her. Tagging mobs has no effect in this game.
I got it on my 3rd try, no parties or anything weird. It is just not a 100% drop rate.
OK, the description on the chart is horrible.
For anyone trying to finish this, you have to go to a platform halfway between the Sun Essence and the Sylvan Chest to get the item.
Just finished the Hidden Garden JP, collected the Sylvari Chest and used the Gear. It did not give me the chart. I confirmed via the wiki that it was during night cycle, and also equipped my Eternity to check. I then used the Gear in a bunch of different spots in the general vicinity of the Sylvari Chest to no avail.
Is there something I could have missed? Does “uncover the secrets of the hidden garden” mean something besides completing the puzzle? If not then this is bugged.
Any input from someone who has finished this part would be appreciated.

But yeah, it still drops from salvaged exotics.
I’ve put in two bug reports, submitted a ticket and posted in the forums. I think I’ll resubmit a bug report and a new ticket every night until it’s fixed.
Everyone here should do the same thing imo.
Had the same thing happen in TD a week or so ago, not that we would have beat the meta anyway, but we could have made a good try. =/
I hate the annoying pop-up on the right hand side of the screen.
I have many characters, and I have fully completed the living story on a couple of them, but I have no intention of fully completing it on all of them.
My solution was to quit whatever episode the character is currently on, which gets rid of the pop-up. Unfortunately as soon as I change maps or log back in, it automatically restarts the episode and puts that obnoxious pop-up back on my screen.
Does anyone know how to permanently get rid of the living story? I enjoyed doing it 2-3 times but I don’t want to do it 11 times.
It is ridiculous that it auto restarts, I turned it off for a reason, and if I wanted to play it, I’d restart it.
I’ve been having the exact same issue.
ANet is aware of this issue and I presume it will get fixed in the fractal patch later this month (if it wasn’t fixed today and just skipped the patch notes).
The original infused rings (before Fractured, iirc) are apparently viewed differently by Zommoros from the ones made/dropped today. I am not sure if there’s any way to tell which are which aside from checking in the forge panel.
(I think at this point I’ve responded to about a dozen or two such posts in the six weeks since I first found out about it.)
Unfortunately, as others have mentioned: the only two choices are (a) wait or (b) buy replacements.
You can also link the ring in chat, if it displays an empty infusion slot when the +5 is in it, then it should be forgeable, if it shows the +5 it will not be.
Really?! We are going to fix minor npc dialogue bugs that no one cares about, but not even so much as mention progress on the issues that are actually preventing your players from playing the game?
You must be really unlucky, I got it off like my 4-5th grawl. Make sure you are killing the ones right next to the crystal if you aren’t that may be your problem, other than that I have no idea. GL!
Also bugged sheets of aurillium is dumb and getting really old really fast.

It sure looks like you will need 11, but the only way to confirm will be if Anet would fix the Sheets of Aurillium bug so I can craft the Aurillium Capsule.
Go to Options and unselect Autotargeting, should fix your problem.
I got the item from Mega Destroyer, but it was on my second try, must just be a <100% drop rate.
Well, if they get it fixed in 10 weeks, I may have managed to gather all the meteorite ore I need by then.
I have Exalted Mastery capped at 5/5, and the vendor shows Sheets of Aurillium as locked and says it requires Exalted Mastery 2/5.
Please fix ASAP, there are too many time gates in this collection already it doesn’t need bugs as well.
Just make a DH Guard and go run the pvp reward tracks for the tokens/gear.
Apothecary Warrior.
Primary damage output is with condi, 3.5k armor and run shoutheals as they heal for 3k+ each use. Nice that they also heal allies so you do a significant amount of party healing as well as tanking.
Sustain around 4k burning/tick with spikes of 8-10k depending on might stacks.
I can also confirm that you hold aggro very well, as Anet obviously tuned up the go after toughness mechanic.
I am adding one more post to the flood of complaints, maybe the shear volume of crying will get anet’s attention.

It’s one thing if I can dodge through them or get out of them, but the CC aspects of the traps is too strong, and their burst damage output is ridiculous.
Would really like an update, even a “We haven’t fixed it, but should be fixed by xxxx” would be nice.
I use a condi berserker warrior, very good in higher lvl fractals imo.

When can we finally get credit for our long hours spent farming to have 6 of one skin before getting 1 of another?
After some experimenting, I am fairly certain that any infused ascended ring that dropped with the +5 infusion already in it, before they updated to the new agony infusion system, will not work in the mystic forge.
A quick way to check, is if you link the rings in chat, the ones that wont work show they have a +5 in them when you put your cursor over the name, even though they do not because you extracted them already.
After some experimenting myself I am fairly certain any ring that was acquired back when they dropped with the infusion already in the slot, will not work in the forge.

I think that food is great, but people don’t move when they are lawlhundredbladesfacerolling mobs and/or stacking.

Hey you can always just afk farm COF in order to cheese your mastery levels up. Wouldn’t want you to make money as well. /sarcasm.
So if I read this correctly, even if you “farm” all the matrices instead of buying them you would make more money selling them instead of opening boxes?

A couple of my guild mates were complaining the other day about how they never get Inscriptions or Insignias out of Exotic Berserker gear when they salvage using Black Lion Kits.
I was working on my Dungeoneer Collection today so I decided to test it out. I salvaged 20 Berserker Exotics all with Black Lion Salvage kits and didnt get a single one. I salvaged 7 more Soldier Exotics and got 3 Insignias.
Has anyone else noticed this? Would love to hear from a Dev why the drops rates seem broken?
I love using Banners, they give amazing buffs and have some cool uses such as being blast finishers and providing a source of swiftness and other boons, depending on the banner.
There are a few things about them that I think could be much improved upon though.
1: [Powerful Banners] does not work with [Plant Standard]. I believe this trait is awful as it does mediocre damage and only works once every 90 seconds, assuming [Inspiring Banners], per banner you run. Making [Plant Standard] do damage if you are running this trait would make it at least marginally more desirable.
2: [Inspiring Banners] is an excellent trait, but it bothers me that it increases the radius of the banner, but does not increase the range at which you can summon the banner. Summoning your banners at a 900 range, if you are traited, would be really helpful when you are running in at the start of a fight, and also leads to my next suggestion..
3: [Plant Standard] should be ground targeted. If you can summon your banner at range, you should be able to re-plant it at range too. The range should be the same as normal summoning, 600 or 900 if you are traited into [Inspiring Banners].
Moral of the story is..
If I trait into both [Powerful Banners] and [Inspiring Banners] I should be able to pick my banners up and use them like a javelin that causes a blast finisher.
