I was being attacked on the bridge to our keep. I died, spawned, went to grab more supply and now I can not pick up any supply.
The last time I used supply, was repairing said bridge.
Anyone know of a fix/has had this happen before?
I tried killing myself, to see if a reset would work and it did not. I am also not the only one who is unable to take the supply.
EoTM was a fix meant for overflow issues, which servers were having. They added the “Supply drop” just to make the winning team feel special and accomplished. :-)
Arena Net is owned by NC-Soft. Why not start a change.org petition giving A-Net more lee-way when it comes to adding stuff in their game?
Kickstarter is meant for indie developers, which A-Net, is clearly not.

I like the idea of Supreme Siegerazor.
Mist Allies – It would probably be better, if they put two lower tier servers into one. Saves money and increases population.
Special Ops – I can for-see many glitches and bugs coming from a Special Agent. Though it would be nice, to have the Whispers in the Mists. :-)
All this talk of food, is making me hungry.
Killing the undead… Can not happen. Granted, this is a whatever game, so whatever can happen. Seems to be going on quite a bit ^cough cough^ Living Story-1 ^cough cough^.
Magic is only as powerful, as the one who wields it. Technology, anyone can wield and can become even more powerful, than the most advanced magic wielder.

What platform are you playing on?
What are the specifications of your computer?
What is your ISP?
Do you use static or have a kinetic I.P. address?
Are you using your isp’s DNS servers?
Did you buy the game, before looking at the basic system requirements?
Just because the game does not run properly. Does not necessarily mean it is bad. There are so many different variables which could cause your issues above. ;-)
Because we have fought the same people for three plus weeks in a row. Gets super-boring, super-fast not having a change in the match-ups.

P.S. These forums will be closed sooner than expected.
They are considered “Bugs” in Arena-Net’s terms.
I found a video which shows how to enter Fort Vandal.
Any content, whether old or new, would be better than what we have now. (Nothing)
The current LS, from what I have played, is not all that attractive. They still use the, “NPC’s are smart, you dumb” concept. Being able to guess(and be right about) quite a few instances does not help.
WvW seems to be dead – (“We are working on stuff, just can’t tell you about any of it”). With the up most respect: Words are just words, unless there is some evidence to back them up. Granted, I stopped playing after the first LS. Came back on a few weeks ago and my entire server shrank(SOR).
I love jumping and puzzles, so SAB would be my cup o’tea. I still have wigs, dresses and tiara’s from last time. :-)
Build-able supply depots, conflict with that of having Dolyaks. There would be too much supply that would cause utter imbalance of the map.
I honestly think Dolyaks should be removed, but have upgradeable camps for you to take supply from.
Electric fence? What happens if you have a tyranical dictator as a commander? Who just keeps it on, only for his personal guild/group? Not exactly a balanced idea. Why not have them be in a group of your guildies and teach them the mechanics of WvW?
Golem Factory: Is it per garrison? Or amassed garrisons? If one tier owned all of the garrisons, that is 15 golems easy. Not so sure.
Other than the above, I enjoy your ideas. Even though, they did try to have claimables in Borderlands(Quaggans in the sea). It did not turn out too well, as it attracted many, many, many botters. :-)
I find out of maps/bugs/exploits/etc. and report most to A-Net.
I buy outfitters in WvW, just to waste supply.
I say I’ll scout x post, but never actually do it.
I like to look at bunnies, rainbows and unicorns while prancing through a field of sunfowers. (Don’t hate) ;-)

A-Net: “We promise the Living Story will improve towards the end. Just keep on playing!”
Braham + Playerbase: “Uh-huh.”
It is time to put the “Guild” back into “Guild Wars 2.”
There are very little core guild related materials added in this game, than the first two years of Guild Wars 1.
Guild related stuff we have so far:
1) Guild Creation.
2) Guild Missions.
3) Guild Emblems.
Few examples which should be added (located in the wiki – http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guild):
1) Guild hall. (No idea why it was not added in the beginning.)
2) Guild versus Guild(GvG). (WvW does not count.)
3) Factions/Alliances. (It would be a great help, especially with smaller guilds who can not do the missions etc.)
From what has been said, you all are “working hard” and will be implementing more guild features in a “future update.” Though, there is little evidence to support this, other than talk. In all honesty, saying that you will and actually giving a time-stamp(I.E June-December) are two different things. It kind of states, “Yes we will add it eventually. It is just not on the top of our priority list.”
Just wanted to throw out my voice. If you wish to add stuff, feel free to do so. Just keep it clean and on topic. ;-)
I was just fighting the Static(red) Hologram about ten minutes ago. While during the fight, things were going okay, until my game began to freeze up, then it crashed wanting me to send an error report(4xx[x] or something).
I recently tried to install an updated driver for my Nvidia 660 ti graphics card, but it failed, then installed correctly. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
My specs:
i5-quadcore(unlocked) (ivy I think) 3.1ghz processor.
Windows 7(prof x64)
8gb ddr3 ram.
Nvidia Geforce 660ti graphics card.
1920 × 1080 Monitor.
1-1tb hd.
1-2tb hd.
Has there been any reports/incidents that have caused games to crash during Holo-fight?
1) New Regions.
2) Better Actors.
3) Permanent Content.

That being said. I do not mind A-Net putting in kitten -relationships. What I do mind, is them highlighting it over others.
1) The cinematic with Marjory and Kasmeer kissing(super cheesy acting by the way) was un-skippiable. But every hetero-sexual cinematic is skippable?(See Personal Story)
2) According to the lead writer(Chris something), thought it would be a nice to explore different variations of relationships between characters. Why did Rox and Braham not kiss/hug?
3) A-Net has been(not going to admit) semi-shoving kitten -sexual acceptance in our faces through this Living Story.
But to put everything in perspective, it is just a game. If you do not like what they have been doing, then there is no need to do it. Though Kasmeer and Marjory may be “human.” They are actually just bits and bytes of data, being rendered on your graphics card and live in a “virtual/fantasy” world.
3/10. A-Net is feeding us crumbs, instead of giving us the whole bread. That is their “do with what we have” as opposed to “giving expansions.”
Scarlet was not a fully developed character.
Where was all of our equipment after[Personal Story]? (airships, motorcycles, tanks, etc.)
Two week pace is not clean enough to create a wholesome environment.
Character development needed more polishing.
Cinematics were not all that great.
Acting was terrible.
Little to no feeling for any character.
Promoted zerging instead of a solo-environment.
Just to name a few.
When we invaded the tower, in Kessex Hills, Kasmeer pricked her finger on a thorn. She said ouch and that was that.
Moving forward to the end of LS. We invade Scarlet’s Drill, and Kasmeer seems to be all peachy, with nothing hinting toward her wounded finger. The only thing which possibly hints toward the injury is her hiccuping. Did I miss a part in the LS of her finger being healed?
*Spoilers* Cinematic Skip? */Spoilers*
in Battle for Lion’s Arch - Aftermath
Posted by: Eglesia.5049
Why did they allow us to skip the first and last cinematic in Scarlet’s End, but not the others?
As much as I enjoy seeing every cinematic. It would be nice to skip them, if they are for repeatable instances.
Didn’t you hear? They are releasing an armor “halo/horns” in the gem store. It will cost you 1000 gems, but will look even more impressive than the “selfless/thoughtless” potion. ;-) On a serious note…
The halo does not look 10g worth. The design looks like it was coded/made in less than a days work. The particle effects look less vibrant and lively as a halo should (bold, bright and spewing stars). The opaqueness of the halo is too clear. Honestly, I think A-Net is beginning to cut corners, in terms of looks. Ha ha. Other than that, I do enjoy them wanting to reward players for doing LS… But the halo does need some “improvements” done. :-)
Since the changes made to WvW last year, affected how the rotations went (Green = 1, Blue = 2, Red = 3). Do you all think they should create a new/edit the map to balance it out?
As it stands now:
Red: Seems to be too far apart and close together. The two towers are close to the keep, while Mendens is out there by it’s lonesome as well as the supply camp(forgot name).
Green: Is way too close together. Everything is super close to the keep, that you can easily build trebuchet’s and retake the area in little to no time. The only time-consuming event would be taking the supply camps. Even that adds maybe five to ten minutes of gameplay, depending on who is attacking it.
Blue(in my opinion): Is semi-evenly spaced. The towers and supply camps seem to be balanced. Even though there is still some closeness between the towers and keep. The spacing is in such a way that makes it defend-able. As well as, allows players/zergs the ability to flip with a decent amount of resistance.
What do you all think?
If you zoom all the way out on the World Map. It looks like Kessex’s Hills lake is in the shape of a dragons?
Pic 1: Shows the Dragons head(with possible body).
Pic 2: Shows it without my bad drawing.
It was Kasmeer, in the kitchen, with the Quaggan plush pack.
So I was in WvW this evening. I hardly said anything the entire time I was in, except “thank you” to those who would help revive me, if I was downed/dead. Then when the zerg I was with, began attacking an enemy tower and things began to lag. I receive the “Your message has been suppressed due to excessive messaging” even though I had not said anything for a good 15-20 minutes. Has this happened to anyone else?
They kind of forced it upon us, by sitting through a five minute instance having them pick colors, names etc. It was rather irritating, when I could be doing more important things.
On a side note: I think it would be awesome, if Marjory died and Kasmeer goes off the deep end. That would be an amazing ending to the Living Story.
The person who helped make the map, placed a “token” for people to see his handy-work. There is also a coin near the Black Lion Trading Company in Lions Arch.
She is the thing which goes by “E.” The person whom Marjory asked Logan about in the Origins of Madness Instance.
Honestly, the voicing is not all that good. The last patch, Marjory showed little to no emotion when trying to calm down Kasmeer. It was rather droll and anti-climatic. It was a little bit better this patch, but still was quite dry.
They kind of did force it upon us, by making the instance so freaking long. Honestly, all I wanted to do was finish the quests and enter the EoTM. I do not play this game for character/story development, I play to have fun and make new friends. If Marjory and Kasmeer or Logan and Jennah are sleeping together, that is fine. But I would honestly like more action and less interaction of the NPC’s.
When I noticed what looks like a steam portal. Does this have to do with the next Living Story? It does not do anything, when I press “F” to interact.
In WvW, the one thing which tends to flip more than any others, are Supply Camps. They are easily destroyed by two-three people, if geared properly. Their upgrades are not all that great when it comes to defending them against invaders. And most of the time, the supply camps tend to have almost near-full supplies when turned.
So what I was thinking, is change how supply is moved from camp to place. Instead of being carried just by dolyaks. Have players be able to move supply, from their respective stockpiles and place them into keeps/towers/castles.
To balance out this effect, you could reduce the amount which the dolyaks give, but still have them be able to move supply. And to further balance it, you could have the player lose supply as they run around. Seeing as though, that would be realistic and help with people using exploits and sky hacks. You could also increase the timers, which are set to give supply to the stockpiles. As well as decrease the supply given to the camps, so that way it would delay zergs from running large amounts of supply at a time.
One of the main reasons why I am posting this. Is because I have seen many camps with fully stocked piles, being flipped. And to me, it seems like a waste to have all of that supply, completely wasted, just because the only thing which supply can be used for, is that to repair walls/build siege. Beyond that, supplies are constantly being wasted, just sitting in their stockpiles.
What do you all think?
Does the Marionette seem to be dividing/tearing servers to shreds? As well as a bit off, mechanics wise?
The past three times I did the event, Lane 2 would fail their boss. Causing people to cry foul and lower the entire servers morale.
Then Lane 3 would fail doing their warden, which made people even more angry and furious, causing nothing but hate-speech and arguing for the remainder of the time.
It is quite an irritating experience, having to deal with irritated people. (Oh the irony).
As for the mechanics itself…
One time, during the three attempts today, I was in lane 3, which had at least 20-25 people in it. When the time came to portal us, I was transported to the bottom pad with two other people. So here we were, three little Asuran’s, facing this devilish warden. While the pad(s) above me, had easily five people tearing their bosses to shreds.
I am not qq’ing about the game, nor the event. I actually quite enjoy this Living Story. I just thought to share my experiences and see if anyone else agrees/disagrees, or has had similar stories.
So… Instead of giving us new content, they destroy the current stuff and replace it with different features? No thanks.
Well, the train for me starts in Rata Sum. Then it moves all the way North, goes to the right one, heads South towards the Sylvari home place. Then I repeat this process until I hit every place on the right with 100% map completion. I can pace roughly a level up an hour, so within 80 hours or so, I hit level 80. Which also equates to roughly 50% map completion. Granted, it depends on if I am bored or not.
So, the language filter is quite… unique in Guild Wars 2. The above word is “Reputation”, but since puta means female dog in Espanol. Whenever I type the harmless English word, the four letters are covered with the filter stars.
I do not know how the language filter is setup. But you would think that if my language is set to English, and my country is in the United States. The filter would not censor words with another language curses.
Anyone else agree/disagree?
I sent A-Net a report on an exploit, which allowed you to get into the Green Keep in EB. I gave them a step-by-step screenshot tutorial on how to use the exploit. They replied first by saying that in the future I should report any “potential exploits” for their team to verify. Then thanked me for sending them the information. I went back to the place a month later, to see if it were patched, and was still able to exploit.
They are very nice when you give information. But need more expediency, when it comes to actually fixing the exploits. :-)
It is not that hard to get into the enemies citadel… I found a way to get inside as well. But you know A-Net. Players report now. They fix it seven to nine months later. Ha ha. ;-)
1. If you have to compare Scarlet to the Joker, just to make her more “acceptable”, then something is most definitely wrong.
2. If anything, she is similar to Harley Quinn. But even that is a very, super-long stretch to make.
3. Scarlet is a pretty cool character. I think A-Net messed up with her delivery. She had potential, but with every update, it diminishes exponentially.
Does anybody know?
I have asked around and some people think it is A-Net discouraging gold making. While others speculate it is A-Nets way of forcing people to run to the top.
Either way, it seems like a rather odd thing for A-Net to implement in a Living Story area.
What do you all think?
Because it is quite unusual for the whole world to just stop because a holiday or something is going on?
From a strategic point of view it is quite smart of the Krait/NC/Scarlet to make their move during Tyria’s Halloween Celebration, in order to take people unaware.
Look up “Christmas Truce” during World War 1. It does happen.
I remember when I saw the phoenix for the first time in Guild Wars 1. I immediately fell in love. I remember asking around, where one could get that most beloved, amethyst and golden bird, whose wings would flap so beautifully into the air. After finding out that it was at the Royal Palace. I immediately began my campaign from the Northern Shiverpeaks, down into the Crystal Desert. Just to take a ship all the way to Kaineng and begin another perilous journey, where I could finally tame my gracious pet phoenix at the Royal Palace. That was the best day of my life. :-)
Now moving on ahead 200+ years, we are in a different Tyria. Where somehow the dodo-moa bird can exist. Yet, there are zero, ZERO, phoenixes. With everything which happened during the dragons coming alive, etc., the MOA (of all birds) survives yet the phoenix does not? Do animal traders not exist anywhere in Tyria? Did you have to completely and utterly destroy the only bird which I loved in Guild Wars 1?
This may be asking too much, but could you please. Please. PLEASE. Bring back the Phoenix? I am not the only one which wants it’s presence back there are others who feel the same way.
Now I know you all are busy with WvW, Living Story etc. But if you could, find it in your gracious hearts to bring it back. I, and many like me, would be super, extremely, over-abundantly happy.
Thank you for taking time to read this post. :-)
#Phoenixlove
Apologies. We identified a case where the event can be interrupted. We’re investigating a fix and hope to get it into a new build soon. Thank you for playing!
Sorry if I sounded mad, was just frustrated for waiting super long, just to find out it was broken.
I guested on DragonBrand (who were gracious enough to help me out) and was able to complete the Kraitbane achievement.
Thank you! :-)
In SoR, we have been waiting a good 60+ minutes for the witch to spawn, and she has yet to do so. We have done all of the meta events, 3-5 times, yet she still refuses to spawn.
Anyone else having issues?
1) Bring back the Phoenix (and rainbow if possible)!
2) Add a Spear-class to GW2 (similar to that of a paragon).
3) In the upcoming year, please add dwarves to the game.
Thank you! :-)
