I’m guessing you hadn’t since the post seems to be deleted and it looks like a weird conversation is taking place.
I’ve been having this issue since the update. Getting d/c’d every so often.
I didn’t waste any money on the keys as I waited to see what happened to others. Needless to say, I won’t be picking up those 5 keys I considered.
Though I do think everyone has a right to complain as long as they don’t just spit venom in their posts. This is feedback for Anet and it’s at least some vent for the ones who did decide to spend silly amounts of money/gold on keys.

That’s the size

@ 205 mb downloaded with 6900 files left.
It’s big.
Yay for connection problems.
If you’d all just disconnect, we can get me through with less issues.
Thank you~

1 minute!
s/he’s right!
Not sure what you mean, but I’ll answer with what I tried…
Bought 40 unidentified dyes for 2 gold a month back = wish I’d just bought identified dyes. Now I’ll just buy identified dyes to use myself as my fingers are still burning.
In fairness when people see a halloween image on the gem store, which are attached to the option to buy keys, then there are going to be some that buy it. Maybe thinking that “well, the Gem Store is showing a pumpkin and is trying to make me buy keys”.
It’s a censor for rude words. Forced upon censor.
kitten.
Hasn’tstarted yet. Give it a couple of hours then come back with your pitchfork.
Sorry, yeah. Dailies reset at 1am here, so that’s in 34 minutes.
In the UK we’re on British Summertime (BST), so add 1 hour for GMT.

There is an authenticator you can use if you have a smartphone: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/info/news/Beta-Feature-Mobile-Two-Factor-Authentication/first#post398418
Don’t believe that there’s been any confirmation on a keychain version yet. If you can add that then it’s a really good idea.

Did you download ‘Barcode scanner’? I had the same issue to start with as I was trying to scan the code with the neoreader I have installed by default. After downloading that it worked.
I thought they said 12am GMT (1am BST), which is when the dailies seem to reset on every server for me. So I’m assuming that it’s going to update when the dailies normally reset.
I’m perfectly fine with the cost. I don’t have a single piece (yet) due to buying other stuff and levelling my alts, but I’ll get around to it in the same way I’m slowly getting mats for my legendary weapon. Purely cosmetic, if I don’t want it then I won’t buy it. I see little reason to make them ‘exotics’ with all the other choices out there.
Just checked in-game myself. Says 800 for the price you are quoting, which is what it’s always been for me.
“Please leave me alone! I’m one person dealing with 80 servers!”
“Anet hates me now”
“Pain in the kitten”
“WE KNOW! JEEZ!”
All tongue-in-cheek considering I’ve taken to reporting bots, more than once, that have been around for over a two weeks in the same area.
Honestly, I feel like if your the type of person that skips the scenery then GW2 may not be the game for you.
That makes little sense. GW2 doesn’t equate to just staring at a panning camera that has a pre-decided angle, or else the game isn’t for you. I like to sit back and look around with full control of the camera.
Vistas are one part of the game. You don’t have to enjoy ALL parts of a game for the game to be ‘for you’.
You’re on the internet.
Internet = Cats>Dogs
I bought the game because it didn’t have a subscription. An automated message to say ‘thank you’ isn’t going to make some people feel that special.
If anything, we should be showing our support for the model they chose. GW2: The game that finally killed the subscription model for high budget mmo games.
Leaves a legacy in the mmo world.
My main character
First attachment is my current look. Second attachment is the look I had for quite a while.
Yup. I watched them at first, but then after a few I just started clicking to skip.
Probably because they could make money by selling them for gems.
(New Feature)Zone Event: A GM comes on and makes identified bots attackable. Players have to kill all the bots in the area that have been identified and a random yellow drops from a bot. Once dead they go to ban heaven.
I’d have created a thread myself, but I don’t think they’d like this section to be full of threads on how to deal with the bots.
Every Ranger I now come across gets a double glance o.-
I hope so. Supersampling makes my comp choke.
Considering the game seems to base itself around cosmetic looks it seems odd not to offer a feature that will make my eyes feel more relaxed.
This is an extra measure you can take if you have the ability to.
Doesn’t the Blizzard one have 8 digits?
I agree that they are annoying. I logged in today and just logged back out after 5 minutes. I can’t compete with 7 or 8 bots running around (and I don’t want to). I don’t care if a real player gets the kills on mobs before I can, it’s the bots that I resent.
Also, yeah, don’t join ’em.
I heard that recently bots were throwing themselves of high places in Divinity’s Reach, where they would then be raised for the xp. This would give them a field day, since they would then get both XP AND be able to karma farm.
They’d have even more motive to keep it up.
What level are you? If you are 80 then you could farm.
Move as fast as possible with the torch, with very little room for error. I can make it to the last jump or two before it goes out.
Thank you for this. This is the first time I’ve used a mobile authenticator for anything (Also added one to ‘that other’ mmo now) and really appreciate the extra security you’ve given us.
Read it all. Didn’t know the names of the things that they use to cheat, which I kindda wish you hadn’t mentioned.
Tried to change, but nothing happened. It logged me out, but on trying to enter the new password it wouldn’t allow it. When I tried to change it again it said I’d used the password before, or that it was easy for hackers (Doubtful, considering I wrote it down because there was no way I was ever going to remember)
The Guild stays with the same stuff it had ,on the original server, but you need to make waves on the new server to gain the same unlocks. If you transfer back then you’ll still have all the stuff/influence.
It’s intentionally for looks. Maybe they should just do away with the stats.
I hope ANet don’t alter the prices. I haven’t bought a single piece yet, but have something to at least aspire to get.
Fully agree. Logged onto my main today and just saw the same bots from a week ago still running around in circles at a well known farming spot. Logged off feeling deflated.
At least you’ve got me levelling some alts ANet. Can’t be bothered to compete with them anymore.
This is actually the first time I’ve looked at it to see what’s needed. Think I’ll just go on a mass shopping trip of dyes, spending skillpoints etc… and have done with the pitiful savings I’ve accrued.
At least if/when I stop playing for a while I can come back to it in a years time and not have to pay a sub to see if I like the changes.
Considering that I hadn’t even been following the game and just took a gamble based off the fact it was an mmo that I hoped would be different to the usual kind, then putting +300 hours into the game…
Yeah, I would say so.
FFXI had a novel idea to keep people going back to starting cities. They tied the starting cities AH(TP) to each other, then made the main hub (Jueno/Lion’s Arch) separate from that. This meant higher levels had to return to get some of the lower level stuff being farmed by new players/alts.
Of course you’d have to kill the teleport to Lion’s Arch from the starting cities, along with a lot of other changes. No idea if this is even workable in this game, but thought I’d add my two pence.
Wouldn’t the number of people on a server stay the same since when people leave for a while they don’t ‘delete’ their characters?
Not sure how it works.
I got one for an overexcited post where someone had created a thread abut the Zero Punctuation (It was new that day). I guess I offended the sensibilities of someone and should have just put “Gee, thank you for posting this, I’ve been looking forward to it.”
Bet that would’ve survived to see another day.
On top of this, it’s moderated by someone, yet you can’t see who.
