Good question, never thought of this. Imo the items that have mf stats from the forge would get a new stat allocation predetermined by a-net and not chosen by the item bearer. If those items will be account bound after the switch is hard to say, but I think it would be pretty shotty on a-nets behalf to screw people out of selling the item that they created only to sell.

Us white walkers up here in the north also get the labour day holiday as well as ’mericans. That is of course pending that our internet connections can be maintainted throughout the bitterness of the year round winter we endure here beyond the wall.

I would take frailty, burn, crip, and endurance for the main 4, as a 5th Iv’e done it with both the quaggan and squemish and i find the quaggan to be much easier, although I run a fairly optomized zerker set ( just a few trinkets off). Use 10 30 10 10 10. staff to build might before entering and sword/focus. Use your Virtue of Justice when he uses his first kill shot to blind him, time focus 4 for when he first teles and that should be game.

So we just finished the event. We killed Scarlet and I got 1 shoulder scrap from the event reward. Why did I get 1 shoulder scrap? Is this some kind of a mocking attempt? A lot of people do not understand the real source of the frustration here. I’ll try to explain:

A couple months back, Anet introduced achievement rewards. These rewards include account boosts among which there is a Karma Boost. Anyone with half a brain who was aware of this knew that while they did not need the karma immediately it was better to stockpile the items until they earn more achievements and increase their boost percentage.

As if to spite those who pay attention to taking the most efficient course of action, Anet made this change without giving us a heads up.

To show an example of how much of an effect this change had, I was close to the next karma boost level, which would have put my maximum karma boost at +107%, instead of the static +50% they changed it to. I have almost an entire bank tab of stock piled karma boosters, which amounts to about 5mil base karma without boosts.

This means, if I had consumed those 2 hours ago (or if Anet gave us notice of this change), I would have had 10.35m karma, but instead I get 7.5m karma. 2.85m karma loss for no reason. To put things in perspective, 2.85m karma is about 626 orrian jewelry boxes that I had 2 hours ago but now don’t anymore.

I hate to say it dude, you won’t get compensated… At this point I would just move on from it and know for next time to clean up all yours chars etc before each update because you really never know what anerf has up thier sleeves… I really wish they would have at the very least, kept the old bags as is, and implemented newer bags from gaunlet kills after nerf so people didn’t get kittened over such as yourself.

My opinion on the farmers within the gauntlet (coming from a 7 and deadeye farmer myself) is this, the ones trying to level through the gaunlet and play it for the original purpose of the achievements etc. have priority over farmers. If you want to farm the gaunlet, then you should be the one to up and leave an arena that is too slow for your liking. It is quite easy to guest or run around to find a less populated or open arena.

In my experience when a newer player comes up and queues, I will more often then not add my input to help them with the fight, que up my gambits and deadeye etc. If they die then I would res them and politely ask to go next and wish them luck. Not once has a player refused and ran straight to the ringmaster.

After that run I can decide to find another arena on that server, or guest around. I do not think it fair to optomize the arena, excluding or treating newer players to the content disrespectfully.

Could someone reply with some specifics of how he was changed? I’ve never farmed anything on the gauntlet but I’m still curious.

He was changed in the fact that he now targets you instantly upon entering the gauntlet, he also has a random rotation of attacks and ports to random areas of the arena.

My only solution is to turn deadeye into noeyes. But then again this may require opening your own eyes…

Deadeye was, and always will be, my kitten.

No matter how many people farm deadeye or how fast, gold will still be deflating due to the cof p1 nerf… However I do believe they have noticed and are working on a method of diminishing returns for the gauntlet instead of just implementing another hotfix here, causing everyone to hop on the next most efficient farmlet boss.

Ahh that is a good idea, I like that.

Yeah for sure, I just think with the PPT based on cap only and upgrades it would decrease the differential in points between servers due to off peak hours etc and being vastly outmanned.

In regards to above, great idea, they would definitely have to improve reward and incentive to hold your keeps and towers from enemies, and even further when fully upgraded!

I don’t think a single WvW player is in favor of the WvW ranks being character bound and would rather they have an account wide rank, keep it invisible to your own server, however provide an e-mote such as in GW1 for higher ranks players to display their prowess. I also think that the trait points should have a massive account pool, that you can put into seperate characters to trait them in different and various ways.

Although I now see the problem of having very few points to distribute if you play say 5 or 6 chars instead of 2 or 3, however i guess that is your choice, but I think this would be a fair tradeoff for having the WvW rank account bound.

I must disagree with adding extra bonuses for wearing the tag as this would encourage min maxers to buy them and an increase in them as a whole, which gets cluttered.

Although I do believe that commanders should have more options within thier tag, such as visible to guild only, squad only, or the entire friendly map. They should also have many more options available to the squad function, such as a team setup menu, to put players in teams, see thier names and professions etc. There are many options to explore in a squad menu and I hope they recognize the potential of it.

Great idea, simple yet effective, +1! I also agree that adding points for upgrading keeps and towers etc would be great, give people incentive to upgrade and defend.

Our core group has been together and playing effectively for quite some time now through a few guilds. We are ranked mid 30s-40s looking to become more serious once again and push into the top 200 , join in upcomming tournaments and the like.
We are incredibly friendly and support good sportsmanship and constructive criticism.

Right now the three of us; E V O L U T, Coffeerage and Kizos Awan play multiple roles and are avid theorycrafters/duelers looking to optimize our builds and performance. We also own a custom arena to practice on.

Typically we play weeknights from 8pm-12pm roughly and 8pm-2am+ on weekends (EST). We usually use TS or mumble as voip.

We are looking primarily for an experienced S/D thief as well as some solid condi pressure in a necro/engi or a good backpoint bunker(Spirit Ranger/Bunk Engi). However we are open to try out anyone who is eager, can play multiple roles and communicates effectively.

Your a pretty annoying thief, I was the ele you faced in the first two games (O P H I O N), you did the job in keeping me roaming back to help at first :P luckily I smartened up and jogged up to mid instead more often instead of giving you the 2v1…

Mag is awful and full of 12 year olds spouting swag everywhere. All anyone does in this game is hide in zergs and run away from even numbers. JP is boring since too many mag go there now, its no challenge. It leaves me with setting stealth traps sitting alone in wvw waiting for roaming thief to try kill me, only to have them not be able to and run away or call their buddies for backup. Nothing is better than watching a thief try to stealth desperately and not being able to.

Magbagma is so blind that their keep in EB was getting stormed by elite DB special forces, fainting a attack on inner water gate. DB stormed in stomping magbag in the back, mag players never even turned around lol!!! Its funni too cause mag was all sitting inside their keep refusing to fight on arrow carts. They know they got no honor to meat on field of battle. They then build a ballista outside their own spawn. Draps guild was in EB at that time running around in circles at SM doing nothing. I heard they ran to top level of SM when they didnt even own it, what nubs the cap circle isnt even up there.

That’s over 11 hours a day, every single day including weekends, work days, exam periods, holiday with significant other etc etc.

I don’t want you to be banned, most certainly not. But it’d probably be in your own interest to take a little break once in a while. Just saying.

Not entirely sure how you calculated 11 hours a day based on this, but I’ll break it down on a grade 3 level for you.

10 months x ~30 days= 300 days over 10 months
2600 hours/ 300 days= 8.6667 hours per day

Yet I agree, a break from gw2 is needed here.
