Ok, So something I have started running into more and more lately is the lack of inventory space… Which seems odd, since I have full 20 slot bags on my character, Several inventory slots unlocked, And several bank tabs unlocked. And yet I am still running low on room.

I started looking through my bank and noticed that Dungeon tokens are taking up a massive amount of space. And I wanted to push through a suggestion to have the Dev’s work on either a Dungeon Token bank tab (Kinda like crafting) or have a “Token Bag” (Similar to a Bag of Holding situation)

Obviously I think it should be fairly difficult to unlock the tab/bag, Seeming the level of usefulness that it would present itself with to people like me who enjoy dungeons and frequently complete them.

Well, If you guys were paying attention, You would notice that there is now a world event right under the “Lost Shores” Global Event box, Seems we probably will have another World Boss similar to Jormag, Shatterer, & Teq. I would imagine that the rewards will be lesser. But its something to look forward to.

I didn’t get anything worth major value. And I still am quite happy with the event. 20 slot box (10g value) Accessory with amazing stats (probably another 5-10g value)

Quit your complaining. Man up. And deal with the fact that you were unlucky, yet still got fantastic rewards.

And check this out. This is an event within 3 months of the game being out. There is still much, much more to come. You’ll have your day in the spotlight eventually. Just stick to it and quite being a whiny kitten.

Fantastic event. You guys keep complaining that everything is too easy and that you can just zerg stuff. Well now you get what you want and you do nothing but kitten.

Man up. Kill stuff. And stop complaining.

I might be dead/dying for most of it. But its fun as hell. First time I have ever been out-zerged in PvE. Challenging, Fun. And our server is having a blast.

Ya, Its gets a bit difficult when anyone DC’s or leaves, But ANET has posted that they are looking into remedying the issue. So expect a patch that makes it act similar to a normal dungeon soon

I just hope they remove the Gear-treadmill it comes with it.

Really a shame such a fun challenging content is heading towards Gear-grinding.
I just hope this doesnt turn out to be a content that prevents players from playing it due to possible “Gear check” issues.

They should really think about removing the Acendend Gear and add something much better for us.

I personally don’t mind a bit of grind. And honestly, I was getting some amazing drops

(4 Onyx Cores, 2 Destroyer Cores, and 5 Charged Cores in 2 runs. Plus enough Yellows to get ~6-7 ecto [forget how much I ended up with]) No MF gear, Just high and dry damage. (Maybe I’m just lucky) Which made the dungeon profitable, and I plan on replacing Cursed Shore farming with this.

The one thing to keep in mind. Nothing comes without a price, And the greater things will come with greater sacrifices. Alot of people keep complaining (And actually, Your complaint was at least thought out, Unlike most) about the gear treadmill, but in reality, You would not be half as satisfied when you get the gear as if you actually had to work for it.

When it comes down to it. People are complaining about not being able to get top tier gear in the first 3 months of game release. I, personally, am working to get my Legendary and my Ascended pieces. Ya, It will take time. But Top Tier gear isn’t supposed to be cakewalk, Its supposed to test you.

Right now, You can get away with pure rare gear and be fine with 90% of groups. So gear check right now isn’t as much of an issue.

The highest I see Gear Checks going right now is someone wielding Full Exotic, Which is a simple feat. You could have full exotic within a week if you worked at it. 2 weeks if you did it casually. And if you really dedicated (No-Life’d) yourself (Like some guys in my guild did) You could have it in a couple hours to a day.

Gotta say though, My favorite 2 are the Cat-Golem Rave & the Colossus.

The Colossus felt like a breathtaking mashup between God of War & Shadow of the Colossus.

Fantastic overall A-Net, There may be problems with the other event pieces. But this dungeon is hands down a win in my book. Would love to see some more Fractals appear as time goes on.

Level 80 blues got me close to 20 tokens. So I have no clue what your talking about. Its fine. Just play around with the different item levels and stop blaming A-Net for your impatience to learn better methods.

They are a currency to buy stuff “or Donate” to the lady in the center of LA near where the statue is being rebuilt.

Mad King Thorn. I personally believe that Headless Horseman flew better as a concept, something to put in concept art. And to leave it at that. Plus, Its just a re-incarnation of a age old story.

Mad King Thorn, Not only has backstory and lore supporting who he is a character, But he has been a constant voice in the Guild Wars lore. There is reason for his coming, reason for his going, and reason for all his deadly (sometimes) humor.

I second this whole kitten thread. Great event. The 40 second (Yes, Go on YouTube and actually look, it was 40 seconds, not 5, congrats to those who can count) cutscene was amazing, and really set the mood.

I loved watching as the mad king burst from the fountain, Laughing in all our faces. Then proceeding to beat him back to hell where he belongs.

Yes, It was a (slightly) over-hyped cutscene, But honestly. I hope they don’t rebuild the statue, I hope they make something bigger and better in its place. There is alot of things that are possible with a persistent world. And this is just the beginning.

Entire event has been nothing short of Fantastic, and great fun. Thank you A-Net for a wonderful even, Especially with how quickly after launch you guys had this thing prepared. That takes true team dedication and perseverance, I tip my hat to you ladies and gents, for a job very very well done.

This has become an issue in Fort Aspenwood as well. 3 of the 5 active spawns near Provern Shore are stuck open, Nothing spawning.

Welcome the the Buy-To-Play game model. Don’t like it? At least they arn’t charging you $15 USD a month to play. You got your $60 worth, Anything else they do, You either have to pay, Or work your butt off to get it.

Also, All these items (Excluding the chest specific ones) can be crafted year around, Just spend a couple hours farming and you will be fine. My guild, With minimal effort has farmed almost enough items to make 20 of these craftable weapons. And we aren’t that large of a guild.

So please, Everyone get off your entitlement horses and go complain to Blizzard or EA about your problems.

But does that mean that my view on the luxury feature of the items are. They are meant for those who are willing to put in the time and effort to earn them.

I always try to keep positive but I agree, unless you grind for gold in this game 24/7 or have a lot of real money to buy gems, most of the new items are pretty much out of reach, which is a shame.

Why should only the most hardcore players get access to the new items. I liked the town clothes and minis and don’t mind spending money but I have a limit.

During these early events, Ya, your right, Only the most dedicated & hardcore people will get the items. Sorry, But that is the sad fact of life. These are the weapons that will be worth the most down the road in 2-4 years. And only those that work the hardest will be able to obtain such a luxury.

Sorry. Hate to be blunt. But if you don’t have the determination or dedication to earn the better looking items. Then they really arn’t worth it are they? Not to you at least. So your going to have to learn to deal.

Here is a arguement to answer this threads arguement. How is it fair to the hardcore players to have everyone have the really nice and luxury weapons when the hardcore people are the only ones willing to put the effort forth to earn them?

If I spend this whole event farming and manage to get a weapon. Then that is something I can be proud of. Because its something that few others were willing to do.

So sorry if that disappoints you. But I even have work to deal with & a relationship to balance as well. And I still will end up with one of those weapons by the end of the event. Because I have the determination & dedication to do so.

@Arjeidi, They have clearly defined that PST/PDT is thier standard time zone for posts & information.

Its not that kitten hard to go Google or similar site and search what time they are expecting it to launch.

Thank you for pointing out that A-Net works off the Pacific US time zone. For those who are unaware of why. A-Net’s main offices are on the west coast. And as such, Any US server is based off that time (From what I know, and this has been as such throughout my experience on GW2)

So, As it is 11:50 Pacific/Server (At the time of me writing this) time, If the patch is at/or around midnight, We should see some results in less than 10 minutes or so. AGAIN, Assuming that it is taking place at ~ Midnight Server time

I think he was refering to the “Most Likely” situation. A-Net isn’t going to want to open up a massive portion of thier game to people not paying for it. So they will most likely keep it Buy-To-Play for a while. Then after a couple years, Open a F2P trial for people who didn’t jump on the Guild Wars 2 train before that point.

GW2 is paradise, even if NCSoft is still as evil of a corporation as, well, any corporation anywhere, ever.

Even if they are, Blizzard, EA, and Bioware beat out NcSoft any day. First they will charge you $60 for an EXTREMELY incomplete Title, Then they will charge you for; Monthly access, DLC, Extra Armor/Cosmetic Items etc, etc.

Lolz, Its $10 USD for 800, Learn to count. And actually, that’s well worth it considering that this game has NO SUBSCRIPTION FEE!

Ya, This problem is spiraling out of control. And it needs to be taken care of.

Ok, Either 1. You have horrid grammar & spelling, or 2. English isn’t your native language.

But regardless, I got your point. I still think after the first hour you should get hit with a Captcha, maybe reduce it a little after that, Possibly every 2-3 hours. But honestly. If your farming that consistently in a zone. You can afford to spend 10 seconds to enter a Captcha. People complain about bots so much in this game it is almost a constant topic in every map I visit.

So, Simple solution to fix the issue. Deal with the Captcha, And solve a huge part of the bot problems.

People need to learn that we will never solve the botting issue unless the community as a whole is willing to help take measures against them.

And yes, Everyone is affected by botting. They hurt the market (Botting is one of the main reasons why Ecto prices are falling rapidly.), They flood maps with so many Rangers, following the same kitten path, for hours, Turning extremely sharply. Its blatantly obvious who is botting and who isn’t. If a player can tell, Then the Dev’s should be able to come up with a system to help solve it.

This is Guild Wars 2. Not World of Warcraft. Please remember the game your playing. Keep that kind of stuff away from this game please. I think some stronger mobs in areas & harder versions of dungeons would be fine.

Lolz, They are called legendary weapons for a reason. They take forever to make. Get over it. People need to stop complaining. If it were easy to get them, Everyone would have one. Then they would be worthless. Which would suck. If you want a cake walk game where the company hands you everything. Go someplace else please. We don’t need that kind of player base here.

So, During a talk with some of my fellow guild members at [Echo], We came across a group of ~20 botters. So it became an active topic in our Ventrilo conversation. And we remembered something seen in other games that Arena Net could take advantage of.

Now, From what I know, This works for most games, Not sure if its been beat yet. But basically. We thought that Arena Net should start to hit players with a Captcha prompt if they are in the same zone for over an hour. Player gets 3 tries to complete the Captcha in a time frame of about 5 minutes. (To avoid afk kicks for those who run to the bathroom or something like that)

Simple feature. Helps lower bot count, And spreading the time in which players are promted to answer them will keep from pissing players off.

Personally. I would have no problem doing a Captcha every hour that I was farming if it meant cutting down on the bots that ruin the game environment.

Relog, Seems to solve the problem for me
