I want to praise them for all the free content but at the same time if you want anything except content they sure know how much to take for it. I don’t mind the gemstore. I mind that the amount of gems/cash you have to come up with is ridiculous.
Free content?..that content was payed for with all those useless RNG boxes and keys,not to mention the skins,gathering tools ectra..Nothing is free.
Shouldn’t the title be turned around.How can they be disappointed in the players.They are making money hand over fist for the crap they are putting out.How many positive threads as opposed to the negative do you see on the forums.And when a player voices his or her opinion,the thread is closed.They keep throwing players little tidbits then taking them away.It is the players that should be disappointed.
So… Has the game gotten any better? It was pretty bad when I left. Way too casual and unrewarding. How’s the playerbase? I haven’t played since about 2-3 months out of release.
They are just biding their time until the other game they are developing comes together.I havent played for a month or two,came back and am as bored as when i left,no challenge,playstyle even a monkey can master.I really am sorry i invested so much time into this game hoping it would get better,oh well 60 bucks down the drain.
Do you think an expansion would fix this game?..Highly doubt it,just think, another area to finish in hours and never to be seen again,more lame temp content to ‘bring us back’ to the areas we forgot.More nerfs,way more rng and dr.The money they are getting from their crap store sure isnt going into this game.Look at their other projects,thats where all your money is going.Fan boys,eat it..Devs do your kitten jobs.
Had such high hopes for the ranger class,was my first 80..right now there as useless as boobs on a bull..Lets all roll a warrior since im sure thats what the devs want us all to play.
Hunter would be to powerful for this game..if only anet would just look and see how that other game made that class viable..but of course they have their head up their kitten.
Picture a small child..give him a box to play with..when he gets bored with that box…give him a box thats a little bigger.but then RNG comes into play and the box doesnt change..then you get a temporary box..its fun for a few days and that gets boring also ..thats what GW2 is all about.
If GW2 was anything like Rift, I know I would NOT be playing it, and even less giving 20€ or more worth of gems per month to the developers.
There’s some things like housing and mounts that I hope to see in GW2 someday, but other things like raiding that would make me quit immediately.
Some people like a mindless game that takes no skill to play,you can craft your end game gear,you can farm mats for your legendary,but only for an hour before DR kicks in.You can run around during the special events looking for that special rng item,good luck there,or you can buy that special rng item in the cash shop.So please stay with gw2,you couldn’t handle Rift.So flame away at me,i dont care,ive played GW2 since beta.
I’m confused, how will GW2 have Raids without a trinity? not saying i want a trinity but wont they just be larger dungeons with bigger hit points and more players all zerging the crap out of stuff, as everyones just DPS anyway, sounds like WvW for PvE..
Before raids this game needs mechanics overhauls..

and how about the pets put out the same damage as they are in the wild..once you tame them they seem to weaken..remember a rangers pet is his companion and they are there to protect and help them.I hate to bring WoW into this,but lets make the pets more like the hunter pets.
Well for me it was
Ranger-Pet takes most of the aggro,so long as you know how to control it,plus your ranged
Mesmer-clones(very nice distraction),decent burst,and a good way to learn how to dodge.
Guardian-lots of protection spells.
Necro-Minions,again(nice distraction).Fear.
Warrior-no brain play..sorry warriors but it is an easy rotation.
Engi.Hard to pin down at first.Turrets,again(nice distraction).Net or glue shot,help alot.Another prof. to practice dodging.

I died less on my Mes than i did on my Warrior.
Remember..farming is bad..you dont need mats or anything else to make better gear,so you can do dungeons.The poor people that want their legendary.kill 100 mobs for 1 t6 mat,yes its suppose to take time,but come on.RNG and DR it hurts the regular player.A lot of players like to farm.Southsun Cove has lots of things to kill,but dont call it farming,cause we dont farm in GW2,we just go around killing things in hopes something nice will drop(and good luck with that).I will stop my rant now,flame me if you wish.

being able to make a group with more than 5 people
Bump up the world bosses
and the temporary content does not equal to an expansion..if your going to throw us a bone make sure it has some meat on it
as of right now,after 80 can be a snooze fest.
