2 Frog bosses up in the canopy in the first new area are bugged.
We defeated the slim one but after that the big one got stuck in a loop.

It just walked around carrying his boulder not attacking, after taking a little dmg he ports into the well, heals the amount he just lost (or more if you dont interrupt) and then walks a bit with his boulder again without attacking. He repeated that behavior until time was over and the event/bossfight was not beatable. ( Which is super duper frustrating because it took us a long time not only in the bossfight but also even doing all the events before)

That they use stuff more than once in a dungeon is actually good old gamedesign.

You kite the ooze before the ooze bossfight so you understand the mechanik.
- with the buff he follows me and he hits like a truck

So when the bossfight starts you do not need to get this explained because you already know this

The same with the holographs. The first easy encounters are just there so you understand the mechanic before the final bossfight.
They did the same thing in the other 2 living story dungeons.

I like that. Without great explaining or textboxes or videos. You understand the mechanic yourself, when you encounter them the first time you have always time to figure it out.

Not sure why you were kiting in the final fight though. We just pulled holographs to the boss or the boss to the holographs.

What is a bit dumb that in the dulfy vid the bosses are dieing so fast that the mechanics do not even really start to get annoying.
The longer these two bosses take the harder they get because the floor is filled with oil or axes.

It is kinda like getting double punishment.

Lol just watched the Dulfy video where they fight the foreman boss. The video is 2 minutes long. Our dmg sucked so hard in comparison.
It felt like we needed 10 minutes.
Also in the Video they get so little dmg from the boss :/

We made it on third try but next time I will make a gearcheck^^

Edit: the ooze&robot&norn fight the same. They do it in 2 minutes. Our fight felt like 20 minutes. God kitten it that is frustrating.
Anything but dmg in this game is really a wasted stat-.-

Okay then I guess a few of the guildies sneaked in some bad gear because our bossfight took ages and because of that were not fun at all :/

You say you do not want people do run the same dungeon over and over again for special loot but isnt exaclty that the case here? Afaik the new blue sylvari weapons only drop in this new path.
And you are right, other dungeon rewards are equally bad but I thought here it might be solved because better because it is new.

Clockheart is just fine as it is apart from the teleportation. The final boss can take a bit longer.
(In our run though that final boss fight was the shortest(and maybe because of that the most fun))

So I just finished the new dungeon with my guildies and I think it is nice. Not as good as the flame and frost dungeon but cool.
I am not so sure if I want to do with randoms though. The part with the ooze&flames and the electric floor could be pretty annoying.

First the minor complaint because it is not so bad but annoying.
- You get teleported when you touch the generators.
In the dungeon no problem but in the final bossfight it can kill you. I would suggest that they disappear after they get destroyed or at least at the moment the bossfight starts.

Now the 2 things that I think are bad and which made the dungeon a lot less enjoyable for me:

- Bosses have too much health

The norn or the axethrower guy took like ages too kill. They do not even learn new attacks. They just stand there and absorb your hits. With like half their life they would be more fun.
After a few minutes you just go brain afk and do the same thing until he dies.
(Would like to hear if other groups killed them fast because they had tons of damage, maybe it was just because we lacked that?!)

The last complain which kinda ruins my motivation to do this again are the rewards.
The dungeon is time consuming and has 1or2 spots which can take a lot of time if you do them wrong.
This is not a problem if the rewards would be good. But they are just terrible. I did not even get enough key pieces to open a chest in which also are lame things( at least my party did not get anything cool)
Yeah I got 2 gold, nice and all but I wanna get cool stuff. Let the axe boss drop an axe, let the rifle boss drop a rifle and so on. Something like this. Anything.

Liadri ->you beat her->you got something
tribulation mode->you beat it->you got something
That is motivating!

Please fix the machines at clockheart boss.

You should avoid the ooze in the first boss fight completely. As the oozes by the fire he deals big damage which will kill you with 1or2 hits. Even without oil(not sure if it does anything)
The person with the ooze buff should just pull him through the oil so it gets absorbed.

What annoyed me more were the lifepoints of the norn. Felt like we needed ages to kill him.

As many others I do not want it instanced. Big fun came from the other players.
But it would help if everyone gets transformed so chars have the same height and will not block each other too much.

They do not even need a counter, what would help BIG TIME would be if the achievement for collecting all baubles would be activated after collecting all baubles and not after defeating the boss.
That way you would be sure you have everything before leaving the level. Because the achievement shows after the boss I will never do the “collect all/find all in one go/kill all in one go….” without a guide. Would be too infuriating if you leave the zone and missed one.

So yeah, good suggestion

Everything is perfectly doable alone. It is just a lot more fun with friends.
When the content came out the lobby was full and people where playing it a lot. But the content is limited so almost everyone finished it by now and is playing something else atm.

I have not killed him yet. Tried for 2 days to get on my server then I had enough. Maybe I will try again in a week or so(hmm Zelda and Pokemon inc so probably no…). If the servers can not handle it properly make it instanced as a raid.

I think this is a good idea. It would also announce the Dragon which is nice because atm there is no pre-event so just spawns and it is harder/more annoying to prepare.

Fast forward one month from now. Tequatl is spawning on your server. Will you show up?

Not sure if I am playing GW2 at that point because Wind Waker HD+ new Pokemon are coming out. Also study goes on in October. If I play GW2 there is a good chance I would play the new stuff they added at that point.
But if I wanted to play a world boss I would choose Tequatl over everything else because it is fun while everything else is just waiting.
Ah well new Golem and Fire Elemental are also fun. Maybe I do them too.

There is a game full of easy stuff. Everything is easy. One year long everything is easy. After 1 year they added 3 difficult things for people who like that.(SAB Trib Mode,Liadri,Teq) and you are complaining that it is too much? These 3 little things are too much? This can not bet true. EVERYTHING else in this game is easy and there for you to farm.

Also I do not like these new generation of gamers who only measures there fun in rewards. Playing itself should be fun and interesting. Not the reward afterwards.

Want Rest of the bosses revamped more?

I want them revamped. Yes.
But not every boss could be that hard AND needs so many players because I think it would split the playerbase too much.
They could made so that each champ comes on once or twice a day at a special time so they population is not splitted so much.

Fire Elemental and Golem are at a good state now btw. I do not need any boss to be tough as nails but maybe all the dragon world bosses.

Also better rewards over all(I do not know how good the Teq rewards are yet)

Is it a lie? I maybe died three or four times during my 4 battles against the new Tequatl.
If you dodge,jump,avoid and heal yourself at the right times you will not die often.

Or he could start with 1 HP and a DOT which dmg him by 10 every minute and everyone on that server gets 3 ascended weapons because you helped to beat that kitten hard boss.
Could you at least wait a week till people KNOW how to beat a boss before crying that it is too hard.

Hm sad,I would argue that is because it is in the starting area but the same thing goes for the fire elemental.
They should also make him stronger AND give him more life. Also give the portals more life so that he can make some moves.

I guess a lot of people did not realize that the electric fields of the golem is not shown through red circles.
That was the reason they almost got me the first time^^

Apart from Tequatl I am just testing the other boss fights. And so far I love them.
Just fought Golem Mark II and the Fire Elemental. I did both without dieing BUT I had to move a lot and heal and avoid stuff and it was not easy.
I had a lot fun with them and I try out all the other boss fights again.

If all of them are so good now this patch was way better than expected.

Improved difficulty with improved rewards is is a good thing. Pls give us more of that.
(Liadri and SAB TM are also good examples)

Anyone else also happy with the new stronger bosses?

if you have a life, it is not so epic waste time when the event fails.

The event takes 15-20 minutes. Life is no argument for such a short time. 15 minutes is nothing.
MMOs steal hundreds of hours away from you. If you have little time then MMOs are the wrong genre for you.

Whats so hard about Skipping Stones? That is one of the easiest?! Wait for the stones and then start to jump. Since the only tricky part is directly at the beginning there is no real challenge there.
Collecting all baubles in Malchors is kinda hard too. You will not die so often but it takes long and some are hard to get.
Personally, I find the Quaggan JP too hard. That is so easy that feel I to secure and miss every jump
I need lava that raises and sawblades shooting at me. Just flying orbs is too much^^

Griffonhook Run if you want to open the chest is the hardest. The annoying griffons will hit you even if you already left them far behind.

I also died in mid air after the shroom but only when I jumped straight forward.
Now im always making a little curve to the right and it never happened again since then.
Maybe over the shroom one of the leaves has spikes which kill you when you get to close?!

Can confirm these apart from the mountain goat thing. When you spawn at a checkpoint you have like 3 seconds invulnerability. Enough time to go a few steps forward where the goat will not hit you anymore.

That is already handled this way. Atm if you defend the lazer from Tequatls minions you will get a gold medal and the treasure if you are not dead all the time.
I do not think they will remove that.

Imo the dart traps are the most fun of the level when you are playing it for the first time. At some point I could not help but laugh my kitten of when another trap managed t kill me even when I was careful.

When you play it for a second time it is almost like the traps are not there anymore because you know where you have to go to avoid them.

I like to use the finge in tribulation mode to stomp some icebears. If I die the cd is gone and I can stomp another.

Yeah really great work, had/have so much fun in the SAB. Also going in daily collecting my green and yellow weapons

What I personally would like to see in one or two zones whould be a clear way. So you exactly know where the normal way to go through that lvl is. Like in infant mode where you go from cloud to cloud but then in a difficult way.(While I am writing said I notice that world 2-2 is exactly that, so more of that please^^)
2-2& 2-3 are a bit long when you play them the first time.

We had so much fun in that trap house with the gong. Always looking in fear around the next corner where in your mind Josh was sitting with his bow ready to shoot in your face
Also racoons on a ninja rope are amazing. Now ninja ropes…next time worms with bazookas which knock you from a cliff when you get to close? ^^

That is not the world 2 cloud which will not let you in because you did not get the achievement for beating world 1 in TM because you left before you got ported to the bonus lvl after zone 3?^^

So I have beaten the Wizard a few times now and I have no problems with his second form when he turns into the dragon.
But when he is in human form and starts dashing towards you I have not figured out yet what I should do. Trying to stun him with the whip did not work.
Dodging through was useless because he instantly turned around and knocked me back.
Also he is avoiding dmg while he is moving.

After a while he dies because I kill him by reflecting the hands but that can not be the right way.

Has someone already figured out how to beat him the right way when he starts dashing towards you?

Here I had the same problem, you have to stay for the bonus round the first you are doing it or you will not get the achievement.
With the achievement you gain access to world 2 tm.

Health potion "upgrade" is a downgrade...

Hm never encountered a rock where the knockback could not be avoided if it would kill you.
You have to be fast or dodge them with a roll. If that is too hard try moving into a position where the knockback will not kill you.
Try different ways to deal with them.
