Weird, cause everyone else in my guild insists that other projectile absorptions and reflects don’t work against those projectiles. Guess I might have to get on my thief and try to see how smoke screen works in comparison.

Many of them used to, but don’t anymore. I am entirely certain that CPC blocking the normally unblockable projectiles is unintended and will be fixed in the next bug fix round. It is not critical enough that it will get hotfixed, though.

That said, I love the new CPC a lot. I wish the special effect would be updated to look like the Toxic Alliance krait AOE field, but that can happen later. Functionally it’s great right now.

The only thing I absolutely hate is the self-weakness. Seriously, any other condition, but weakness is crippling to DPS and has to be cleansed immediately or you cannot even capitalize on the projectile destruction.

I would so like “the ultimate destroying” to not be a bug and be something that only necros can do. Too bad it would trivialize some encounters too much probably. Still a great change.

Let us have Death Shroud alongside with Reaper Shroud, or give us at least somewhat usable ranged option(reworked axe maybe?).

Yeah, that’s what I had in mind. I hope axe and scepter will be good after the possible rework. Well it can’t be worse, can it?

Since the patch i havent seen a single successful blast floater go off even though they were definitely placed in the field. Same issue with necrotic traversal. The delay makes it awkward enough.

Can we please have something done about these blasts. If we arent going to get any on weapons. At least fix our current ones so we can actually use them reliably! I dont care how its done. Ground target, blast on player location, increased blast radius. Just do something.

Exactly this. Just make it work reliably, that’s all we’re asking.

This is why I wish that all minions (with the exception of jagged horrors) spawn via ground targeting.

I think that would be great for everyone.

Since the CD on all minions is reduced, I wonder if people would like the option to have Putrid Explosion as a targeted skill so we could use the blast finishers more reliably. Now the bone minions are just randomly standing everywhere else just not where you want them.

I think 2x blast finisher on 16s CD isn’t so bad, or is it?

Keep in mind I’m talking mostly about PvE perspective as I don’t play WvW or Pvp much.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn’t even mind the additional conditions if the skills were more powerful. For example CC would have much better healing(at least 100% more), BiP more might/duration, CPC added one more damaging condition, etc.

Corrupt Boon should corrupt all boons on a target not just 5.
Epidemic should transfer up to 50 stacks of all condis.
Plague should have a bigger radius and AoE transfer condis that are applied to you.

If we have such extremely hefty taxes on our normal utilities then we need proper compensation in the form of skill power.

Yeah. Shorter CD on skill doesn’t always mean that it is more powerful.

I would like it even as a grandmaster trait, or the underwater DS #4. I just want to have powerful and reliable condition utility in death shroud… or shroud as will be known.

I always liked the underwater necro combat, while others were just annoyed they had to do combat there.
Too bad we can’t have such good skills above the water, like DS #1 transfer or DS#4 condi sucking (I’d very much wanted especially this one).

That would be actually a very good and useful elite. I don’t like our current elites anyway because 2 are transforms which I don’t really enjoy using, and 1 is stupid AI meatbag.

If they want to make CC heal skill for condition builds, then weakness is fine. But they would have to make other heals more efficient so power builds can have a proper heal skill.

They could swap the vulnerability on CC with weakness on Epidemic if they don’t want to have the same condition on two skills. Or instead of conditions we could simple lose some health or life force.

So what about new, “rarer” type of tonics, you could choose what creature you transform into. Something like the random ones (e.g. Endless Toymakers Tonic) but with the possibility to choose (Ascended Endless Toymakers Tonic?), as OP suggested. Perhaps with the possibility to use the exotic Endless tonics to ascend them. I doubt we’ll ever see it but it’d be awesome.

I think staff #1 needs a rework too. It’s still so slow to actually hit someone(needs the same speed with lich form auto atack), doesn’t deal noticable damage with condition builds. (which are the main users of staff) Currently I use it as only ds recharger. You may balance its damage with some torment. You can add 3 different style attacks for auto attack like other weapons. Or you can add 3-5 projectiles that spread to various directions for aoe like damage. Our staff auto attack is inferior compared to especially a guardian or elementalist.

I agree with you except for the idea with multiple projectiles. I think there’s enough AoE dmg already on the staff. But I’d be very happy if torment was added to the staff #1, perhaps with some other tweaks as you mentioned. In my opinion Necro should have more ways to deal Torment to enemies. Wasn’t it intended mainly for necros anyway?

P.S.: I’m looking at it from a PvE player perspective. I don’t play PvP much.

I use both damage and conditions so it’s perfect for me, otherwise I’d choose something else.

So is there any difference between Triforge Pendant(ascended) and Syzygy? I’m asking because I’d like to make the Triforge Pendant but, it is more time-consuming to gather the materials for it than earn just 30 laurels to buy the Syzygy from Laurel Vendor. So is there any advantage in getting Triforge Pendant? If not, they really should improve it because it is not worth the time/money.

there is a E with a line above it where the dot between abilities are supposed to be, its even in the crafting list and when looking at a map and you hover the mouse over a merchant it’s more like an A with a line above it.
