All the weapons have the ability to use 1 symbol, why should hammer need more than one? little unfair compared to the other weapons….
Dont think players can complain to much about it.
Its just an option players can choose, they are not forced into this feature.

I would like to see an option to disable pets for druids.
Instead of the pet you will get a 5-10% buff to all stats.

Zealots with Crusader trinkets for WvW is the most optimal for that play style , ranger druids in wvw are mid to back line anyway.
so using a LB/GS with marksmanship/beastmastery/druid provides more than enough Aoe Regen + damage vun from fury triggers on clarions bond + tiger f2 ect from team mates too evey AA or skill you use should have the Remorsless trait triggering.

there is one Cavalier gear piece as its best suited for WvW druids as they will get focused FAST (so don’t use Pure zerker)
the mixture of stats provides great damage when you include the damage bonuses and grace of land bonuses , the amount of people nearby should give you plenty of Asteral energy and you have 2x stun breaks with 2x taunts for defence you can then even use Gs to counter after a taunt with Block kite away for Swap>maul for a high damage as it will Auto crit 4 times , once for the remorsless then 3 more times due to the sigil then after that every 1 in 3 AA’s should crit and apply Vun due to two-hanned training.
the total damage boost for this build is 60% damage for full grace of land stacks with the 25 vun plus the additional 25% damage from remorsless on opening strikes , you could change Moment of clairty for Steady focus but the extra daze time is More than worth it , when using Luna impact on a dive into a zerg daze them up Swap out Use barrage>RF and AA untill needed or stay in CA form to keep healing while you obsorb the incomming first wave of damage always hits the hardest.
this build is the optimal Zerg druid.
if you want more Health to tie you over you can just change the Amulet to Minsterals for the same stats but added vitality , if thats not enough change the backpiece to Valkyrie.
the key to playing druid in WvW , no matter how many people there are if you can’t heal/support those near you they will die and you’ll be the last one standing .
its better to do the role of a druid that is to damage + support at the same time through Buffs + healing even if that healing is only at 500-800 healing on a Druids CA for using the AA 10 times that 150 point difference ADDS up a lot to like 800-1.5k per CA skill after mender stacks.

I am going to craft my first ascended armor for my power based Druid (longbow/greatsword-staff), which stats should I use?
Iam thinking about keepers armor with Zealot’s stats or zojja’s armor with beserker stats……
I play:
- wvw roaming
-wvw zerking
-pve
-pve fractals/raids
I dont want to have al kinds of different armor sets in my inventory.
If I want to make a stats difference I use my rings, amulets….
(Skills: shouts, glyphs, signet | Traits: Marks/Beast/Druid)

So here’s life as a druid: FORCED INTO Troll HEALLLLLLLLL. Because we can no longer generate CA by auto in staff.

Played my warrior for thousand hours so its hard to let go. But now I am trying other classes like Druid, Dragonhunter and Herald.

I don’t post often, perhaps that should change.
1: Spirits have a limited up time. This is fine as long as they move with the ranger, but because they do not it requires the ranger to wait an exceedingly long time to summon them again when they inevitably die quickly.
2: Spirits are susceptible to any form of damage. Again this would be fine if the spirits could move with he ranger out of fields. As it stands one good AOE kills them. The death effect is nice, but is hampered by the fact that it A: requires a lengthy cast time to summon them, and B: has a long cool down.
3: Spirits cannot help the team if they are stationary. As it stands spirits have a limited use in holding points in PVP, but because of their exceedingly low health and stationary positions, are far to easily dealt with. People will tell you that spirits just need to be placed properly, but here we run into yet another problem.
4: if you place a spirit out of the way as people suggest, they may apply their boons and however their secondary ability becomes useless.
Long story short. All spirits should follow the player just like minions. The code already exists, just make it attached to the spirit, no trait needed.
I’m not going to say that Anet was wrong for removing this. I can absolutely understand why they may have been worried about spirits with the creation of the druid. In fact, when I heard about druid my plan was to make a spirit build based on druid that would act as bunker support for the zerg/team. I can understand that Anet was likely worried that the combination of spirit boons and druid heals may have unbalanced the game in some way. I my self was worried about this.
I will say that the change to spirits may have bean a bit to zealous.had Anet waited to change spirits, I’m sure they would have seen a better solution than removing the one aspect of druid that make them viable.
I’m not alone in this thinking, but i’d like to open this topic up for discussion. Maybe i am missing some other information that other players can point out that would support Anet in the change, and maybe there will be more reasons to change it back. That’s why I am posting here; Not to ague with Anet, but to create a discussion on how this can be resolved in a way that players and Anet can be happy with.
My vote is to return spirit movement, but i may change my mind as the discussion progresses.

Yes and No, I do feel CAF generates bit too slow and runs out way too fast for how long it takes to build the CAF needed.
They just need to improve how you generate AF and remove or make it degenerate slower. I use Staff with my build but I only use CAF 1-2 times a game and never at right times due to how long takes to generate the fight is normally over win or loss.
If you’re using the staff, the king of AF generation, and are still having that much difficulty even using CAF once or twice in a game…yeah, things have gone horribly wrong for the Druid. It would be nice if we had a response here.

worked hard to get my AF up, then I went out of combat…….
The key to astral force? Stay in the fight.
If you are running solo or duo its going to charge slowly. Celestial Form is not meant to be a reset button.
If people would like to see Celestial Form become more reliable beyond +5man content maybe instead of AF generation they could just have CF start recharging at beginning of combat on ~15sec cd. Once off CD it can be used for ~7sec? When it ends it goes CD again. Leaving combat it is disabled.

Right now in the beta, I am playing a Power Druid. IMO, it is way better than the Power Ranger build.
Yes power Druid is amazing! didnt like the druid before because I used healing spec, but now I love the druid:)
