What if it was appended to not allow kicking for 5 minutes regardless of how one joined the party?

There’s two potential conversations to be had here, one about the general feasibility of this idea, and the other about the actual duration of this anti-kick measure.

You might be looking for the Traveler’s Spectacles. They drop from the buried locked chests in the new area Dry Top. You can get them on the TP as well. There’s one for all weight classes so be careful.

It shouldn’t be a RAM problem. I get the same thing and I have plenty of RAM.

Hi, I recently created a thread about having my game crash everytime I load my character on Lornar’s pass. I was able to ‘fix’ that when one day I logged in and was able to play for about 10 seconds so I immediately left the map before it crashed again. Ever since then it has been fine but I haven’t set foot on that map again. Now, I’m getting the same thing happening in Harathi Hinterlands, but it crashes before the map even loads.

I deleted the local.dat file and tried repairing and all that but the repair failed as well. I can still play other characters, but not my main.

I signed on 2 nights ago and was able to move around for a few seconds before I crashed. No idea what’s going on, but the day after I tried again. I was able to move again so I went straight to the spvp area before it crashed again. I relogged and the game works fine now, no crashes or anything. However…I am now terrified of Lornar’s Pass TT

Hi there. Since yesterday I’ve been having trouble logging into one of my characters when I took a visit to Lornar’s Pass. The client crashes every time I try to use that character, but is completely fine when I use the others. I’ve tried repairing the client but it didn’t work out, that crashed as well.

Please, if anyone has any solutions, I would greatly appreciate it.

The chest looks like named exotic, not T1 human cultural. I wanna guess the boots are winged set.

see, i do believe that the yellow is a bit to much, but gold itself is expensive…. idk a really good substitute. antique gold is much more of a brown to me

If you can afford (assuming you bought it) Bonetti’s Rapier, then gold-like dyes should be nothing :P Concerning the set, I’m not for the barbarian look, but it isn’t terrible. Like many others, I don’t like the shoulders at all though. I believe that a good combination of dyes can make any set look decent at the least. If you intend to keep with this set, I’d mess around in the dyes rather than armor pieces.

You can get a name change contract for 800 gems. Either that or start a new characters for him.

It could have been an excuse to get a friend in your place if they knew eachother. A kick that late sounds like they planned to kick all along, otherwise there is no good reason to kick you if you were winning and doing fine the whole run.

I, like many others, just want a response at this point. Right now the equipment is just wasting space, I’d like to know if I should just get rid of it or if there will be some sort of fix. Although I do not expect a fix, no response from Anet is giving me hope that I believe to be false hope.

Yep, happened to me today! I left the dungeon and reentered since I didn’t create the instance. The boulders came back right up. But still, was pretty annoying.

That is your problem. If you gather while under attack, you’ll get ruined ore/wood.

I know a lot of people are upset with the magic find change, but I completely agree with Anet’s reasons on this one.

For those of you who had to re-tool a MF build, you’re only losing some MF in the short term – That sucks, granted… But what you gain in the long run is better; you get the ability to fully boost your character’s combat stats AND have high magic find at the same time. Not immediately, of course. But eventually.

As for wasting time/money getting expensive magic find gear, you aren’t losing the gear itself and get to choose your new stats anyway. So your investments there aren’t wasted.

So what is the freaking problem? They’ve made this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.

The problem is that some of us don’t need a third set of armor. I had an MF set, dungeon set, and a set for WvW. What can I possibly change my MF set to since I have no need for anymore on that character? Now if it was account bound, I would have been able to outfit an alt with all new gear. That was what I was looking forward to, but it didn’t happen. I have a useless set of exotics and a few ascended pieces sitting around.

The issue I have with this is that they stated we were getting our MF items turned into account bound. Then the dev says that what they meant was that items that were soulbound prior to the patch will stay soulbound.

Most players with an MF set will have them already soulbound before even seeing those patch notes. So what they meant to do would not have affected anyone positively in any way. What I mean is, none/most of us were hoping for account bound MF items when it was never going to be the case and the devs knew that. The least they could do is fix it, and I am patiently waiting for a fix even if it doesn’t seem it will happen.

The only thing that bothers me is that the MF set was said to be account bound. But it remains soulbound to the character that was using it. I like being able to switch the stats up, but i already have a set that I use on that character. Account bound would be very very nice as I can then use it to gear up my alternate characters. Did I misunderstand it being account bound?

They seem to be soulbound to the character that had them equipped even when i haven’t changed the stats. Any idea if they will be changing this or if I’m stuck with it :/

I get these a lot from rares as well. Used to get them on every single rare whenever I fought Tequatl. Get them quite often, but not all, in Southsun. I figure the supply is just from being farming these rares and salvaging for ectos.

I just got one several minutes ago. I don’t want any of the skins though, its a shame we can’t trade them in for other stuff like minis or something. I’d be so happy to be able to get Faren and Kasmeer. The thing is account bound too so I don’t even know what to do with it.

I used to do this in hopes of getting the Superior sigil I need for the legendary I was going after, but so many of the Superior sigils are worthless and even soulbound on acquire that I decided against it and just sold them all. I didn’t have very much luck with it, a few nice ones out of many many tries.

I suppose if you manage to get something worth a gold or so, it’d be worth it assuming you get one within 25 uses of the forge. [I’m approximating an average of 3-4s per Major sigil here]

Overall I wouldn’t do it, I’ve thrown away so many that I could’ve just sold and probably lost money instead. But that may just be my experience

What this guy said sounds like the problem. Check Chantry of Secrets. Go to Bloodtide Coast, there is a portal on Stormbluff Isle that will take you there.

Did this glitch apply to salvaging in general or salvaging with the Black Lion Kit? I used up a whole mystic kit recently and was curious.

How did they determine who to send to? I’m fairly certain I used my kit (though not the whole thing) for some salvaging and always got 0 ectos from my exotics. Perhaps they only send it to people who used up a whole kit in the time frame?

Sounds like you may like Warrior or Thief. Though I haven’t gotten either class to high levels, so that’s all I can say.

Which server have you chosen? It’d help if you were on the same server as the people you play with after all. Though it isn’t necessary with guesting, but still preferred I think.

I don’t think this is possible, because the map completion doesn’t actually give level 80 exotics as far as I remember. It gives 76-78 both times I’ve completed it.

Use whatever karma you have on the Orrian Jewelry Boxes as they have a chance at lodestones as well. You’ll have an abundance of karma anyways.

I assume they would, but I was under the impression that only amulets have a utility slot. Because of that, that means you can only infuse with GF once. Or am I mistaken?

I totally agree. When farming, I focus on tagging with my party. I have one question regarding what you said though. “you can simply infuse 6 Magic Find gears” What do you mean by this? I thought the only Ascended Gear that has utility slot is the amulet slot.

That is why I went with utility But I would like to know what he meant. Perhaps I missed something or misunderstood.

I agree. I’ve farmed in Orr with and without an MF set and there wasn’t much of a difference. I got all terrible loot most of the time so I think I will be better off with the gold find.

Oh, I completely forgot about dungeons! Even a few runs should start to benefit more than MF eh? Sounds good! I used to run dungeons quite often, I may have to play a few more now. Thanks! So I’ve decided I wanted to get an Ascended Amulet with the Utility Infusion, but I’m not sure which utility would be more effective. I haven’t had much luck with running MF overall, but I also never really get much when i pick up coin instead of items from mobs. With that being said, it seems like Gold Find won’t be giving me much of a boost. However, I’m also hesitant to pick MF because of my bad experience with the RNG.

So I guess my question is the following: Which is more effective for farming if both don’t seem like they’ll boost my findings too much. If you’ve had different experiences with these, I’d love to hear which has fared better for you all! Thanks in advance!

That’s for you to put the skin on in case you don’t own any backbraces to apply the Quaggan backpack.

So for example, the normal recipe from fragments to shards was that
2 fragments + 1 dust + 1 crystal + 1 wine = 1 shard

And using the Mystic Binding Agent instead of wine allows you to put it in batches of 3 for this case, and giving you 3 shards as a result? So it’d save buying 2 bottles of wine? That’s interesting. Seeing that the ratio seems to decrease as we go up the tiers, the only one that isn’t changed is core to lodestone, correct? Every other recipe seems beneficial though.

That’s the spirit! Glad you enjoy wvw. I very much enjoy it and didn’t mind the wait for my last few points, took about a month I believe because we were up against the same servers for several weeks and couldn’t capture specific keeps.

Flip a coin, you’ll know which you want midair. If not, you’ll find out if you’re disappointed or not when you see the result of the flip. Works wonders for me at least.

This technique is likely to be expanded to any continuous attack, no need to be 80 for that. For example, the worms spitting fire can be used if you dodge right through the flame when doing it.

This is what I do. I find that continuous attacks are easy to dodge and get it to register as an actual evade. Not only will it register one dodge, but because it hits multiple times you are more likely to get 2-3 evades from one dodge. Also works wonders with AOE or big mobs. Run into a mob and just dodge in, you should get some easy.

You can upgrade to the Deluxe Edition using gems in the TP. So if you really really want that Mistfire Wolf, get ready to either spend money or make some gold to convert to gems.

You get 1 skill point every time you level while you’re level 80.

Ooh I’m in Yak’s Bend as well We are winning last I checked, but not by a lot. About 12k points ahead of CD, the map is split pretty evenly among all three servers as well. So you can probably get 33% of your WvW done if it keeps up like this.

This is one of the easier monthlies imo, no idea why people are complaining. Before there was WvW kills and Fractal Frequenter. Fractals required 7 while dungeons now is 5. The daily requirement is ridiculously easy as well and salvages come naturally as you play (well I guess that may be only for me since I salvage a lot).
