Apparently there’s no water fields to utilize when running master class… I don’t understand, this game brokded or sumpin!
Great fights last night in SOR BL ; SF, SG, Fear, Choo, EK, LAW. Jinx was running a 10 person warrior group (to bad soo many of them were berzerker uplevels lol…..). I think all guilds should run a theme night or two a month, gives the members fun things to try out and laugh at, even if they succeed or fail…

To all you who complain about “blobbing,” I only hope to pull 70 people on to my tag and just run circles on the map I’ll be all like, “hell yeah, let’s blob harder!” Then everyone else will be like, “we only got 15 Jed.” Then I’ll be like, “oh yeah, you’re right!”
Screw tactics, everyone needs to be in one ball at all times. I know I personally am scared to fight anything outside of 10-15 people without at least 30-40. This is because I lack skill on a personal level and need a blob of people to support me as I run aimlessly through a map with a blue thing above my head.
So please everyone, vote to support the blob! www.supporttheblob.com. Skill less players like myself need this in order to survive, please don’t let us go to the wayside!

@Mal for ONS vs SF GvG, my apologies for not getting back to you guys on this yesterday. I already approved Guild missions for everyone tonight and I have been without interwebs at home for almost 24 hours! When I got home last night I found out a new ATT employee was doing an install for one of my new neighbors. It wouldn’t have been as bad if it was a chick neighbor and was good looking. Unfortunately for me it was a dude my age that looks at people…awkwardly… Making a long story longer, this kid somehow messed up the install and magically disconnected my whole buildings internets. How the hell do you screw that up? Well, I call ATT last night to complain in a professional manner in hopes that I will get service quicker. Unfortunately for me, that employee thought it was a great idea to make me feel like I’m in the wrong for coming home to no service and calling their office to complain and ask for services to be rendered for connectivity. I told her I will C U Next Tuesday and spoke to her manager, which promised me I will be back up and running today. Fortunately for me I work in IT for a major hospital in the area and can pull strings through the corporate side of ATT. Jed +1 for 2 free months of internet

As a commander on JQ that has avoided WvW until last week to brush up on game play, I am glad that BG came out to play. I have field respect for all the teams on BG for one main reason. When they run, it’s not every engagement, there is an actual reasoning why they have to run. BG will actually fight and tussle with you, this is regardless if they outnumber you, equal in numbers, or even lower in numbers. They give just about as many F’s as we do when it comes to the open field play. I hope this week shows an example to the other educating team leads as myself on JQ that the words I preached in regards to educating the masses that it is a maintain thing, not just an every so often thing
Thank you guys for making the game exciting for myself and my squad. We were scraping anything we could for fights the last few weeks, even running our own internal sPvP tournaments to get some good PvP in. Expect to see me out tonight on a random Bordlerland. If you see Jedbacca.6297 online in your buddy lists, I’ll be running whoever follows me in to the largest teams you guys got, including SoS so I can call out people that are rallybots and to go uninstall as usual.

Surprisingly enough, I think the PvF will still be generally low even with BG. The last matchup we had with BG/JQ/other server was pretty light if memory serves me right? Then again, this will probably end up as one of those defining moments in the league match ups, so we will probably experience some heavy turbulence
I want to say thanks to Agg and EP for giving SF the opportunity to get in to the GvG crowd and really get some matches to learn the play style of a GvG. I consider you guys top notch in the play style that GvG provides, even though I have dubbed it “The jousting of the Richards.” The meta of this play style is completely different than what I would ever expect for a GvG format for Guildwars, but I’ll take what I can get. You guys are fun as hell to fight, keep it up out there and I look forward to having fights in the future

It was really fun and I feel like we learned a whole ton about a different playing style. We will continue getting the proper team comps down and getting ourselves in a more formidable format.

There was some mixed in, but on the side note … I can’t believe gvg’s still persisting in gw1.
May have to reinstall. I saw Te gvg’ig this august and took a double take. Are they still playing too (Treacherous Empire?)
They were prolly doing what we were doing, just screwing around in GW1 GvGng themselves. If there were any available teams to fight I honestly wouldn’t know. We barely knew how to hit space bar to attack and the fact that you can’t jump or dodge roll threw some of us off as well. It was pretty funny, until one of our members thought it was a great idea to rally a proper Searing Flames spike against the other team

Nice video. Why do you keep your inventory opened? So you can drop siege faster or do you switch food type in combat often?
When I am running from location to location I swap shield for warhorn, and then before the engage I swap back to shield for mobility purposes. Then I just forget to take out my inventory. In GW1 we had to swap out different shields to deal with different types of elemental spikes. This is kind of just force of habit :x

SF is just getting in to GvG and would love to do this. Let me straighten up my schedule with Agg and see if we can get something jiving this week. Our open days are looking like Wed and Thurs. At this time we would like to fight tough competition like your guys’ team and Agg to get a guage on what we have to work on for GvG’s to catch up to all of you guys that have been doing it for a while. If I can come up with proper times to do so, I will attempt to get us scheduled up hopefully this week.

Good video report. As for EB last night I was teaching commanders and PuGs that are new to WvW field movements and the reasonings why certain things happen in WvW. Something I haven’t done that extensively quite some time… must have been the alcohol talkin’, we’ll get some more fights jiving for ya throughout the week though
One day I killed a player from an opposing server, then I concluded that all players on that server are terrible which made me feel really good about myself.
I also posted about it on the forums because I think other people playing the game really care about what I think of them.

We are pretty familiar with the GvG scene in general. http://www.gw-memorial.net/results/ladders/0/ would be an example of what our core members are capable of. We currently do run a team comp on some days but not all and have been since launch of GW2. I think we are just too laxed with the WvW environment.
Regardless of Tier that you are in I feel like Anet really just geared us all to be casual gamers and didn’t really give us that one thing that we really want deep down inside, that’s the instant gratification of being able to chest thump against another team that you had beat them. GW1 offered that to the fullest. It’s a shame that, that mechanic was never truly implemented here on GW2. You can get them going in sPvP, but for whatever reason it’s not the same? I think my main fear of stepping back in to this realm of “competition” is the constant comparison we will do against ourselves now vs the old “us.” We’ll see, I’m sure there’s plenty of teams wanting to beat the living crap out of me in a GvG as it stands already

It’s a shame you guys are only getting your GvG squad back up now. You’d find a lot of good fights with the Maguuma guilds. I don’t think we’re going to get matched up with you again this season so I hope you guys’ll be in full form next time we see each other!
I don’t actually participate in GvGs I’m just a hype-maker.
We were on the road quite some time ago to be thoroughly involved in GvG. Then between myself and a couple of our other team leads evaluated the team and said that overall as a team we are not ready or willing to do this properly and give the fights other guilds would expect. So, we pretty much said screw it now, and we don’t care if we get pounded from just getting in to it now. I expect some pretty rough losses to some of these vetted GW2 GvG style guilds out there.
You must have run in to a “Friend/Family” ranked SF member… This is the game play that we expect any of us SF that are out there roaming.

I’ve run into many SF players out there (usually all at once) but not Wilson yet. I think we could make delicious Warrior dueling babies together.
Yeah, lately we’ve been regrouping when we are active out there and working in public comms to get any new to WvW PvE based players used to WvW. You know, the coaching and training thing so maybe we can retain people on our server for WvW. Currently all of our servers have a rather large influx of achievement hunters. So, this week if you’ve seen SF out there you probably seen a bunch of ppl attached to one of our commanders for that reason. Which I’m sure is the same for the other guilds on other servers per the usual. Regardless of anything we take anything and everything we can get that’s PvP based. We obviously love running tagless, but if my return investment in people may help me out or even the server overall in the long run, I’m willing to donate my time for that purpose.
If you are seriously interested in duels or small team organized fights you can message Wilson or Mr Goodkat. I’d list more, but I’m sure the other roaming guys would get angry with me for causing them to get spam messaged. We are also in the midst of putting together a GvG squad to operate in another facet again. We can cover 5 man havoc, 30+ offensive zergs, 10v10’s in sPvP, 1v1/2v2/3v3 at this time. Also, I’d like to give a plug to RIOT and oPP, when you face BG’s server, connect up with RIOT or oPP. A lot of our small teams guys have a lot to owe for forcing ourselves to get better in our personal game play due to what these guilds bring to the table. Obviously it’s embarrasing getting beat especially when it was your personal skill level on the line
