Ladies and gentlemen, show some class please. All sides included. Regardless of whatever X reason one can put in to it, I have seen plenty of players lost due to attrition. We have a multitude of reasons for individuals that are no longer around. The OP is only looking to assist to put up a proper fight. On a personal level, I would prefer to have another NA team to work with in order to “win” my timezone. We are NA servers and should play like a team that wants to win during our NA timeframe.

If asking for a team or two that is WvWcentric, then so be it. If there was chatter from a troll here or there, we all know all servers have them. Our teams are only looking to add competitiveness to the table all round. If this offends you in some manner, please take a step back and look at the situation that you have witnessed. The players here thoroughly enjoy playing against the teams out there and only want to make sure that competitive edge is on the table.

On a side note, were looking for a good arrow cart guild. Were just getting into the finer points of arrow carting, how to build them, how to click the buttons, the best way to pick up bags. Well be hosting an arrow cart workshop and could really use some veteran experience. PST for more info!

I’ll say well played… and thanks for those members getting me a lot of PM’s… You’re “bag of fun” is waiting on the SF forums. We are not moving from JQ and I had already announced internally to the guild and the JQ community than to go through another server transfer, I’d rather let guildies choose where they would want to go and stay in line to what their personal goals for in game are. Mine are to stay on one server, ride it out, and do whatever the hell it is that I do in this game when I play it. This is a personal choice and since I’m the GM, I guess that keeps the official team located in JQ. Kind of like a dictatorship…but only a Jedtatorship… MmmmMMMmmm tators….with cat sup..ketchup…catsup…..

so i was hanging out with JQ’s pve scrubs in LA, we came up the idea of creating the " server motto", sort of like the House motto in game of throne series, here is what we have so far.

Blackgate, once you go black, you never go back.

Well, I do believe Mayoken is only looking out for the health of his team. As a team lead, if you feel as though you are in a volatile situation, the only knee jerk reaction is to remove the poison from the system. His solution to his teams issue that they were staring at was to relocate. In the past on SBI, things got kind of fussy between teams. This was a little bit of an internal issue of who is there and who is not. It didn’t get extremely bad, but you could see it was about to crack to that point. There are tell signs. My guess is that Mayo was able to spot this once more and decided to be proactive before it harmed.

This also stems from teams feeling that it is necessary for them to bite off more than they can chew to support the server. This means, feeling it to be necessary to put in extra hours, always having your premier commanders tagged up, running multiple maps etc etc.. All roads that lead to, let’s kill ourselves for a video game. With that in mind, my guess is he just wanted to get away from that frame of thought. Who knows, prolly best to ask lil’ buddy yourself.

No clue. All I want to know is why they charged uphill through a narrow choke into 10 ACs firing into it and it being covered in marks and having our guild at the top of it…..The bags were plentiful….sadly common sense was not.

The same reason I would charge a team up a ramp that is being rained down upon by arrow carts…to see if we can make it to the arrow cart Last one to touch the Arrow Cart or door usually has to buy the guild a round of drinks.

As it stands now, any of the 3 T1 servers would mop the floor with DB and send it weeping back to T2. None of those NA guilds you got were very good to begin with, and your NNK while it seems strong and big for T2 and below it is not big enough for T1. Maybe evenly matched numbers wise by SoR, but outmatched by JQ and BG without question.

Reign in that arrogance, you haven’t been tested yet. And if you are relying on those T1 guilds you acquired, then think again, there’s a reason they ran from T1 to begin with.

I’m all for smack talk, but I wouldn’t recommend taunting, you may regret it in the future. I know the team leads from CO, they resemble a lot of how I run my own ship. Mayoken and Dekar are two fine team leads. Dekar himself even being a pretty hardcore gamer and team lead. When he was in SF he was toned down from what he probably is now. If you let that guy lose on a roster and whip ppl in to shape, I highly doubt their grou kitten omething to be trifled with. Not to mention Mayo’s style of leading is pretty solid as well.

Fine I’ll be MORE specific. The time about 15 to 15 SF were at inner south bay and wiped like 4x our numbers when they pushed out and then almost pulled it off again meeting the respawners on the way out. :P

I’ll explain mechanics… It’s funny because there obviously was more than 15 SF, we broke our team off from the other commander when we had too many in one spot, and yes we did wipe a ton of ppl inside of bay, did a medivac for anyone downed, got outside of the doors and died to elevendy billion after the huge fight inside of Bay. Shini, me thinks ppl don’t understand your sarcasm…

We’ve been out there daily map hopping. Pretty much on every single map, I don’t even recognize tags anymore, it’s just run murderball of my guild and keep running…

I am a commander on JQ and I have yet to be bored in WvW. I always figure out ways to entertain myself, and the team.

Tickin that low during this time of day would lead me to believe that the EU teams are coming out in force for BG, which we all knew they have always been the stronger force in with organization during this time slot. From data mining brains this past week it would appear that minimal resistance is going to come in from what is normally on during that time slot. Apparently we have college students that would typically be on during the day covering that shift. Something about finals and actually having to participate in school or something was brought up.

Score update for you ladies n gents that are at work like myself…

I dunno about the stale situation in WvW. We all know these games get repetitive in fashion. That means you just have to be creative. I will confess a couple of things I do in my team, and somehow, I have high active player retention. A lot of the members on my roster don’t play every single day, every day is pretty much a different roster. One day I can have a full roster of casuals, the next, a full roster of hardcore bloodthirsty demons that want to murder people…those guys scare me..there’s a lot talk about pushing posterior items in. Yet, in some way… people keep coming back for more. Why is this? Well, we run armor theme nights, some of you have even witnessed our Necro night, which actually caught on to other guilds in other servers, and that’s awesome. TBH we actually stole that idea from Carnage [CRNG] which are actually home in SF these days. Let’s say you want your whole roster in Hulk colors, and the rule of the night is that you are not allowed to use any siege aside from things that can punch gates or defensive perimeter siege when taking keeps/towers. This means we have to fashion our tactics to a certain play style. This mixes things up for our players.

If you are thinking longevity and a different flavor of doing things, as team leads, and commanders, we should all be mixing it up for our people. Instead, you get a lot of people who just complain about the dullness of the situation they are in. Whatever situation you are in, whether it is life or video game, it is what you make of it right? Therefore, do things different yourself, take personal initiative and make the enjoyment of the game what you want. There’s no set script on how things are done, people are free to write their own. This is a snippet on how I do mine, I am highly entertained almost all the time. Then again, there is usually a party going on in my head…sometimes singing Lil’ Wayne….I don’t even like Lil’ Wayne

Actually yeah, we got some rank 50+ players w/a room. It are teh kool. We were actually thinking about seeing about arranging these types of events w/teams. We can password protect rooms as well. I’m sure we’d def be down for gvg perty soon here. There’s been this mental block for me personally with the whole GvG thing. See, back in GW1 there was an evil side to me that got really elitist like, and when I see failure in an organized kill squad, I tend to get overwhelmingly serious. I don’t want to ruin the health of my team for how I am personally ;x

Don’t get me wrong, I am not bored with WvW, I love WvW and the competition that is out there. There are just other aspects of the game I still have not fully ventured in to, that’s what I came to JQ for, the opportunity to not have to fully be relied on for absolutely everything and enjoy things with my team. For some odd reason, I just didn’t feel that at my previous home? In any case, looks like unless things are changed with siege, different tactics shall be explored once more aye ladies n gents

Oh and as a side note, I never judge my competition based upon the win of a WvW match that can be decided when I am not active. I judge my wins/losses on the timeframe in which I am active and if I accomplish whatever my goal is during that timeframe only. Which is why I never do those long kitten hours like I used to on SBI

Well, I was comm on deck last night for JQ on BG BL. If I was really coordinating with anyone then BG would not have rush my hills with Omega and Alpha golems when I went to use the bathroom. Thank god for the backup comms that were on map

Do you realize how ridiculous you all sound to people not in your matchup? Every other word is “balls”.

9 times out of 10, a group of 3 is going to run from a group of 6, and so one until the numbers get too big to count and you all lag out and blame the other side for making it zerg vs. zerg.

The absolutely hilarious thing is that I would guess that roughly +70% of the WvW’rs on JQ and BG (TW jumped to SoR early, skewing that) transferred, while those servers were either in T1 or clearly going to T1; you all signed up for this.

Every former SBI, SoS, ET, IoJ, and HoD member who transferred to T1 held out their bowls and said “moar zerg please!”

Also…2v1? That was a tired topic in September, yet it’s still everyone’s favorite gripe of the day.

Our quote from SBI was, “Bring more guilds please!” Still happens to this day in SBI, I mean SF

If running a zerg is effective, I will run a zerg, like a mega monster kittenerg. Because the other team allows me to do so. If running multiple teams is effective against said teams, then running multiple teams will do your job. Because the other team allows me to do so. It is your job as team leads to utilize different strategies to become effective at what you are playing against. For the rest, there is Kleenex. Think outside of the box (Badump ting).
