We actually did a couple times. We were running a clinic this evening on bad map positioning. I has ppls that would like to know more about tactics applied and why you do certain things and not do certain things. Plus, we had a guild meeting while chillin at hills defending. So our movements weren’t normal, plus discussion time. We were actually hoping that OJ’s would be enough to pull the opposition to us to review some points. Don’t worry, we wiped a few times

Looks like I’ll be squaring up on TW’s maps for quite some time regardless of how many I have with me. Got to have our guild meeting in hills today on SoR map as well. SF decided that we would like to tango with TW as much as possible due to different style that we seen. We haven’t tango’d in quite some time. What if you are on JQ as a commander and attack both SoR and BG on a nightly basis?

Tonight as a perfect example of those who were on BG BL. For the record, I’m not trolling, more of a match report in short. JQ was on BG’s fully upgraded garrison at inner. SoR comes and hits us with a decent amount of force.

At this point I switch focus to SoR and fully wipe them off of the map, and then log because I have a massive headache. Now, I do this typically almost every night. I have to fight both servers…nightly. This means setting up scouts all over the map and countering anything that comes in at me while launching a proper offensive.

Let’s get some basics down, let’s educate everyone at once. How about deploying proper tactics and making it harder to take your with holdings. Tonight I take a Hills keep and there were literally no scouts at south hills. 2 Alpha golems on a reinforced gate. You guys know how long that takes right? Also, earlier in the night, yeah I had a headache at startup too.., I was at watergate Garrison of BG, again no scout, I was able to build a ballista, take down all visible siege that a ballista can take down and get the gate down to 50 before we had a proper response.

How many times do you think an opposition fighting teams that are having good response times and thwarting any efforts of progression are going to continue? You have to keep in mind there is morale at stake. If your team is getting constantly beat by team A, maybe team B might be an easier time on your guys and build up some morale. I’ll admit it, I’ve had nights to where I have had to do just that. You play the map.

I guess my point and question would be this, is this not already happening? I experience it first hand every day I’m in the game with both servers coming at me. Please correct me if I’m wrong. I’ll refrain from trash talking in this thread. I would also like to point out that you are not on my side of the screen and see what’s happening. So, if this is not already happening, especially on every map I’m on every night, then please explain what exactly is happening.

Again, read this with a normal calm tone of voice, because I have a massive headache and not meaning to sound crass. If my wording is off, well…then my wording is off.

I got respect for Noodles. I know what it’s like running an international team, it gets taxing at times, but we do it because we care. For real, all of us do. The amount of life..I mean time wasted in this game is sickening. I’m pretty kitten guilty of it myself. Yet, it’s a pretty cool social interaction to have with everyone. If it wasn’t for a combo of Noodles and Stei hittin’ me up and tossin’ me a cookie in my in game mailbox to have a chat, chances are, I’d be on SoR defending anything a TW member says.

You’ll have to excuse Noodles for his lashings at times. He’s an extremely passionate individual that likes to see results. He tries to be professional in manner and calm toned to the best of his ability. He gets a gold star. I may not always agree with a viewpoint of his or a commander of his at times, but he’s a pretty huge chunk of why this server is holding it together during NA prime. It is a morale game right?

Let’s go back to the days of old when I was back on SBI. Noodles is from the breed of GW2 member that knows what it’s like to be crapped on with low numbers in WvW and have to consistently map hop every 10 minutes.

In short, I got gamer respect for Noodles.

I would like to see the poll that Anet conducted to their end users on how pleased they would be with said implemented change.

Mr. and/or Mrs. Moderator, this may be the wrong spot for this, but without being able to target the individuals in question, we are unable to report as you say so. We have been forced, as gamers, to take these situations up ourselves. We try to clean our own communities with our own initiative. No member from any server would want to be associated with said activities. Everyone strives for legit gaming and to at least have a positive lime light around them.

Until you guys supply us with a better means to report people, we will be forced to report these matters to each others’ communities in order to keep things the cleanest as possible on our own ends. We only do this because we do not possess an in game mechanic that can properly do this in certain instances. You will have to forgive the 3 communities you have here for making things known as public and making individuals walk the walk of shame to the best of our ability to show that we as gamers will not tolerate such activities within our gaming experience. This, all being in the fairness of a legit win/play vs another team/server.

For the JQ that are not active on www.jadequarry.com forums and public TS, thank you for the nightly support. I truly appreciate it.

That is why when Jed fights someone, he smacks them upside the head repeatedly. Not because he couldn’t kill people with one hit, he can, easily, but because the repeated hits drives it home clearly that when he yells “GET SOME” the person knows they are about to die painfully.

I recall said moments in SF history over the years followed by loud insults of families and sexual content that would make my mom smack me in the mouth.

Tell people to think of the map they are on like a map of their country. For NA Prime, you’d be like Bay is California (West Coast), Garrison is Wisconsin (uhhh North COAST!) and Hills is Virginia (East Coast).

Our server pretty much had like everyone on the map in that area too aside from maybe 1 or 2 havoc squads out there doing other stuffs.

@Fixeon, I don’t think you understand, those guys have been doing it for quite some time It’s even funnier if you send 2 ppl in and they get the yak to waste all those ppls time.

@Covenn, Our guild has pretty thick skin and actually enjoy being trolled. We use it as rocket fuel to auto attack doors down

Speaking of which, I’ll share a video with you guys in regards to how JQ does PvD! This was a night where I was in JQ TS leading us as a PuG army! BG was mega map hopping and we knew it so I decided to toy with them like clubbing baby seals. Fortunately for me the guilds that kept having to come and go couldn’t stay on map long enough to completely establish a proper foothold to get the map taken care of and squared up. In any case, it was a pretty fun night for us as a server being jerks, well, at least me being a jerk, because I do that kind of thing.

Haha, these are great, I think we also use Transferring when we lose [Agg] for our supply camp buffs too! Thanks Agg!! A common phrase that we have now spreading through the JQ server since we have been working with more teams lately is Tsym’ing dolyaks. The action in which you walk a dolyak with 40+ ppl. It’s usually used in jest as we are walking past one and speed buffing it or have dedicated moo moo walkers.

Guys it’s cool, I’m glad that I at least know of it. I’m probably one of the few GM’s that doesn’t care if something like this is out in public. Zagan, check the last page, I responded to that already, thanks for the heads up. I wish you could get a target on it to see if it really was one of my guys. I don’t tolerate any of that crap, so if anyone can help me out with more screenshots and what have you so we can identify that kitten, I can get the person removed from my roster. I love how SoR has huge zerg balls yet everyone else runs around with 10 mans. I think giant zergballs are a sign of potency wouldn’t you all say so? Yep, giant red zergballs. Although it looks like next week we are going to have giant blue zergballs. Man… we should probably have some professionals look at that.

I know this is somewhat of a troll post, but every team ends up at one point or another having to do the dirty task. We’ve already gone over the mechanics of le ball.

Zagan, thanks for reaching out to one of my members about this. I have forcefully removed one member from SF that I was able to legitimately find out that they were exploiting in the past. If we can figure out who it is, expect them to be mass reported by the remainder of the guild, by remainder of the guild, I mean 350+ members. I wish you could get a target to see if it was an actual Strike Force member and not just a troll tag. In any case, we’ll keep our eyes peeled. We’ve had some success in the past to get people to either stop their exploitations, or move to completely different servers due to shame. Everyone remember the Pink Monkey [Devs]. Any help in finding said individual would be appreciated.

SBI & SoS had huge problems from within which was the cause for their implosion. It’s very noticeable that the same problem has moved to SoR now.

I for one am lucky to be on Blackgate, a server that doesn’t have any sort of negative internal issues & where the entire community treats each other as though we are all family. Much respect for my fellow beastgater’s

Oh don’t worry, those guys know me well enough that I have no problem having the 2v1 on someone other than myself. It was in good taste and good natured fun. There are multiple ppl that pm me all the time with similar notions, especially if we are attacking them. “Jed, go bother someone else!” “Go kill on the other side of the map, we like our houses over here,” “Jed, I’m camping your body :P” I’m probably one of the few commanders that could care less about getting trolled by other servers, it sometimes riles me up to fully wipe servers off maps at times. I miss Jerico and Agg…we used to PM each other, “Hey, you just got wiped by only 15 of us.” Then we would wipe them and I’d respond, “Yeah, your zerg just got wiped by our 5 man havoc!” Both of our teams pretty beefy at that time with like 25+ and then add the pugs in

So, this evening, I step on to BG BL, apparently the moment after we lost hills. This sparked something in me that hasn’t happened in a while…I…get to do…whatever the hell I want!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Okay, I’ll break a series of events tonight for everyone, this was epic as hell and really fun!

@The matchup today, I got to run some havoc and holy crap @ the SoR response!!! I feel privileged to get the whole zerg to respond to our havoc squad out there, cheers!

I will openly admit that if I’m on the map, I will attempt a 2v1 against what I consider as the greater threat to my holdings. History has shown me that whenever I open up on SoR, I have multiple attempts on my backside from BG. This is a given because BG would consider JQ to be the greater good for a ppt. You get double the points, technically speaking, when you go for the guy higher on the totem pole.

Let’s take BG BL for instance, lately that’s been my stomping grounds because…tbh I don’t know, I think I was assigned there a week or so ago and that’s just something we do now?? Anyway, on that map SoR will typically leave us alone because when they come to hit us, we respond with an overabundance of force and quell the storm with them. If they push our buttons too far, well…then they end up losing something on the map.

So, looking at that, I know it’s just one map, we make sure we try to keep other servers in check with letting them know, don’t screw with us. Perhaps rethinking a strategy to get a 2v1 off of you may assist. I’d loan some advice, but it would be considered as insulting if I were to do so. I personally have commanded against 2v1’s on multiple occasions on SBI and here on JQ, it’s nothing new. Once you’ve been down that deep dark hole, get broken by the opposition, there’s a moment where you snap, then things become clearer on how you manage yourself and your people. As a map/battle commander I’ve been through video game hell and back in GW2. Keep logging what’s working and what’s not working. Hell, I still do things by trial and error, don’t be afraid to tell 40+ people that you are going to suicide on an objective just to see what happens for SCIENCE! You’d be amazed at saying, “we are swinging by X location to put up swords” can bring.

I’m jealous, I’m still at work for another hour. Stupid downtimes and upgrading servers… Who does that kind of crap? Oh, and it looks like Cue is commanding now, ahhh back to relaxed feeling…
