All of JQ’s ppt performance, past and present is due to FOO.

FOO is awesome for what they do. You discredit many teams that maintain a higher ppt during the NA prime as well. I see hypocritical posts of, “we won the weekend, mnyaahhhh!!!” From other servers. So, teams from my server make it a concerted effort to show up in proper form after a couple of weeks during the weekend, this past weekend. You don’t pull over a 25k lead by Sunday night from just the non NA teams, you pull that from the overall representation of your server. Sure, a lot of gamers placed more activity throughout the weekend, but it was the teamwork that pulled through for the teams all together, not just one single team. If NA prime time was so low on ppt on the weekend, the score should have been much much closer.

Unless people are going to state that NA Prime is PvDoor as well now too? I’m not getting where all these thought processes are coming from. There has been quite a few times to where JQ has held roughly a 325 tick during NA prime on the weekend with the next server being roughly 100 behind, then it flip flops by the hour. Not to mention even on a Monday night JQ pulls a 375-400++ tick. I’d recommend just staying quiet and accept the fact that there are a lot of uneven and even matches out there constantly no matter what server you are on. There were times that the other servers were performing at this same capacity as well. It is not just one server.

In regards to claiming that teams only hide in towers and keeps, I’ll toss my “come at me brah” flag out there. Any and all of you know that I’m a kitten commander and have absolutely no problem running kamikaze in to anything and seeing what the results for “science” are.

To generalize everyone in one lump sum timezone or category from any one server is ridiculous. You have too many factors involved in everything. The speculations spent on what you can derive from nothing is a lot of non-value added time and typing to see your text on a wall that is considered the official forums or other forums.

There, I have a weekly rant complete, almost have my monthly done for the achievement.

I get PM’s all the time from other players from other servers and other commander/GM’s trolling me. I usually ignore it unless I’m “cool” with them.

Most recent one was when we were running a 15 man balanced team doin’ our thing and got our posteriors handed to us by a roaming TW zerg. “Yeah, you like that, gettin’ wiped!” Dunno what team the player was on, really doesn’t matter, but the trolling always makes me laugh, I never take em’ personal and neither should anyone else. Those messages are meant to emotionally throw you off and do stupid moves to become easier prey

They are on SBI and have been named as such for years since GW1

We have been running lower in numbers with multiple teams, and looking for the smaller open field battles as of late, gotta stay sharp. I don’t want to have that zergy feel like 100% of the time we play the game, it makes Jed a dull boy.

Not having the numbers, seems to be a very popular excuse for all of the 3 servers in this match to use when they get hit hard.

Just JQ BL last night the only server in the match who had outmanned was SoS.
Not JQ, not SoR.

<3 SF and many others. We had some great fights all night. One of my favorites was when JQ tried for Sunny, and we would push out while having a SoR group behind cutting off the path to the spawn portal. Not to mention fake portals we used, along with playing around.

We def felt the field ::insert unwanted touches here:: of four guilds last night. Good show, it’s something we’re used to. We got to a point where we counted the ppl in mumble, when someone said 19..I was thinking, “hell, we need a bigger boat.”

@Shiren, I was not trying to imply that SoS as a whole was falling apart, more of a response towards reasonings on why someone would leave a server. It’s always the perception game, what do you perceive is happening. If someone believes that to be true, they may feel that all hope is lost, maybe even at too early of a state. It’s more of a generalization if anything.

@The JQ BL stuff last night, yeah…we shoulda prolly asked more ppl to log in to WvW! LOL! I was like, holy crap…there’s like 2 huge teams just rollin’ all over the place here huh! With what we had last night we gave it a go, last night would definitely go in my “I need ointment for my posterior” nights. Hell it took a fakeout and a golem rush just to get a kitten tower back! HAHA! Who does that?

@Shiren, I could only think of a sense of abandonment and lack of the support if the WvW overall populous is dwindling. It makes it hard on the teams left and they can get demoralized by getting ran over by trains.

JQ did some recruiting of guilds, this isn’t a kittening secret ppl. It just so happens that it went well and the server =d profit

SoS is doing the thing to where the activity level is fluctuating. Yes, this happens on servers as well, but have you see anyone leave the server?? Nah, probably not, maybe a couple of people here and there, but nothing to send out huge alarms.

SoR…pretty well balanced during NA prime for coverage and are somewhat strong in other places

As far as zerging accusations toward any guild, can’t you say that about any server? There are a lot of commanders on each and everyone of your kittening servers out there that have PLENTY of ppl that follow them. Why is this Jed? I’ll tell you why, it’s because people like to follow these team leads. They try to bring entertainment and JOY to a kittening video game. kitten who would of thought, that we all purchased this game for an entertainment purpose. All of you from all three servers on here either sucking each other off or trying to verbally punch each other in the dick on the forums just need to stop and just say good game. You are all getting volatile as hell and I’m ashamed to be apart of this GW2 community.

Well it kind of sucks that one one will ever be able to dethrone JQ until people get bored and inevitable quit. Some of those guilds that transferred to JQ should have dispersed to SoR, SoS, and BG for much more even match ups. The way this is going we will just have servers fighting for second place like SoS is doing right now. Anyway the weekend match up was awesome and I am looking forward to more of those in the future.

7 to JQ, 7 to SoR, 2(or 3 if you count WM) went to Kain, 2 went to FA.

I wouldn’t really be afraid of Kaineng. Warmachine is a terrible guild and anyone from SoS/JQ knows they are no real threat. They couldn’t hold SBI together (or push them over 3rd place) and they certainly aren’t going to take Kaineng past there either.

I wouldn’t talk about something you clearly know nothing about. Or talk about a guild you know nothing about. And for the record SBI got two second place finishes in the SoS/JQ/SBI matchups.

I have slammed myself up against a brick wall of SoS and JQ numerous times so the teams behind me can cap a primary objective. I have no problem taking turns dying over and over as long as long as it accomplishes a goal.

We never stated that we would not leave. We held on as long as we could, but having no other teams actively out there as much as my squad was, was getting quite taxing. There were no breaks for us, every day was day in day out WvW. We kind of did that to ourselves. We have posted up our full analysis of what we did for our decision as a team. We were also approached by a few of the team leads in JQ as well to join up before transfers were up, which happened to end up be the determining factor for us to relocate our team.

I have a guildie that was yelling at me for not stepping in on his 1on1. He was getting handled by a theif, which his class/build was definitely not spec’d to handle such things. I sat on the sidelines and laughed at him, then motioned to teabag, point and laugh while everyone else rezzed him. He was like, you’re a terrible leader, JED AVENGE ME! It was a good laugh.

I love watching the duels, I’ll hold back a full team to let the 2 duke it out, or if I see two havoc squads going at it, I’ll stand back and just watch the gameplay. I love watching the positioning and seeing if the team is actually coordinated or just skilled as individuals.

Funny thing is last night JQ was attacking bay, as did SoR. However SoR didn’t send their full force, and had forces on AH.

JQ only withdrew from AB to defend AH. Followed by all of SoR hitting AB.

SoS would portal bomb or push right before waypoint was able to be hit, so after a few times of that SoR set a ram on the waypoint in AB, and layered AOE’s on it. Thats when tides turned and SoR took AB. Then we left it to go back to the north to deal with JQ.

So no, it wasnt just SoR attacking Bay and not hills. We were attacking both at the same time. Even ate some popcorn on AB platform while JQ pushed SoS in AB inner.

That’s what you call the 1v2 :P Not many ppl understand me when I say it’s 1v2’ng them…

I’m tired of fighting JQ at this point not going to lie. While we fight our hearts out against guilds we once fought on other servers and have good fights, we go to sleep and wake up to +400 PPT and fully upgraded keeps from Euro Prime time. I know a lot of us try so hard to prevent this from happening but there is nothing we can do. VoTF and our other Euros fight a very hard battle and I have much respect for them. I hope SOS doesn’t get burnt out and that’s why I wish to get away from JQ even if it is just for one week. Even though I always play to win or by PPT, if we continuously get matched with JQs 24/7 coverage and all matches end the same way with a false sense of competitiveness on the weekends and a complete face kitten during our coverage hole, I’m just going to start playing to kill people and hope I don’t get burnt out.

You make it sound like SoS has been suffering at the hands of JQ for months. Before what, like two weeks ago, didn’t you guys have like a nine week win streak? After all that winning, two weeks is all it takes for you to get sick of us?

There were weeks on end where I felt the same way with SoS, before we had our recruitment. Entire borderlands taken when I get on. But I just kept on fighting, like the rest of JQ.

I mean I’m pretty sure before the mega transfers to servers when SOS was winning the matches were very close. The only match that seemed to be a blow out was like the very first tier 1 match up SOS entered. You sorta missed my point as well. I said if this continues and I didn’t say I would stop fighting…. I will never stop fighting till I get burnt out of the game. You’ll see me and my guild + my alliance out there leading everyday. And as you said you felt the same way with SOS… SO expect us to feel that way when its worst off that’s all.

Well looking at millenium scores you are stuck with us in t5 with the same match up, unless you pick up your slack and stop QQing on forums and instead kick some more of our butts on the battlefield.

I skimmed through a lot of the thread just to see what was goin’ on, but I see a lot of 2v1 2v1 2v1 here and there throughout the whole thread. It’s part of the reason why I stopped posting on these forums. Sorry for not fully reading for content then, just the number of times I have seen 2v1 posted in the thread alone was making me go, kitten this doesn’t change ever huh..

I started the first post about 2v1 & everyone that went with it turned it into a drinking game. It seemed as if everyone on these servers understand that its part of the game, part of the tactics, and is expected of high skill level servers. Sure on other threads you may see people using 2v1 derogatory & complaining as to why that’s why they are losing. But here, as from all the post, we take it as a positive & welcome the challenge. Sorry you got the wrong impression but this thread has been great, the gaming has been great, & i think everyone is going to keep it that way.

I didn’t want to read all that, you know how many walls of texts that everyone has out there. It’s all pleh, I figured I could get away with a blanket statement and just be an kitten but apparently that didn’t get through the cracks

Oh and last night was awesome to get back out there with the team. I was hoping for one of those epic 3 way fights in the SoS garrison, we kind of got what I was looking for.

As for the drunken commanding days, we still have those, just on different servers is all

@Wotah, I didn’t notice that, but it’s a disclaimer for our ppl anyway. I hate it when ppl have to throw that carrot out there and those of us who are out there bustin’ tail have to pay for what one person says on a kitten forum.

I was going to permanently stop posting on the official forums, but I guess it can’t be helped.

I would like to ask all those who post about the 2v1 to stop, as usual it’s part of the game, you should learn how to deal with it by now. I would recommend strategies that you should formulate to hinder these situations. Einstein said that doing the same thing over and over is a sign of insanity right? Well..there’s no need to drive yourselves insane, that’s pointed at all servers. I somehow end up with a 2v1 situation against me every day, I say screw that, I’m going to 1v2 these ppl It’s a game, enjoy yourselves and not be so negative please.

As for the boasting of, “oh just wait till JQ’s ::insert some kitten comment here::” Please refrain from doing so, it’s bad mannered and it makes those of us who are pulling your weight while you forum warrior your way out of a bag look bad. Also, if said actions that ppl speak of doesn’t happen, you look like that much more of an kitten when it doesn’t work out to your liking.

I can hardly read most of this chatter in these official forums it is pretty volatile and pointless and hurts my eyes. So, this will be my last post on the official forums unless something is brought to my attention by a member of mine.

I still noted teams attempting to utilize culling to their advantage after the patch went through. This saddened the SF team

In response to a queue time thing earlier about JQ, we really don’t have long queues if any still. I’ve had some weird bug with members though. Some get in within 5 minutes, others are queued for an hour while tons of ppl are getting in before them. It make sense no to Bacca of teh Jed…

All of the SBI guilds would follow PrX why? No offense Clem, I still love ya :P

Have you ever thought that maybe some of the more hardcore guilds would like a break and not have to worry about being a main driving force of a server? Tbh, I want to do jumping puzzles on my big charr with my guild mates, run zone events, do in game content, mini dungeons, regular dungeons, make my character all pretty and stuff. I can’t count how many sleepless nights I did to myself by staying on waaay to late even after the majority of my team has logged to hold on to that extra keep because no one else is online for a turnover. Now, I feel as thought I can take that needed break at times and be more healthy about my gaming nature and be a normal human being. There’s no reason why our teams can run in rotating shifts, that’s how we have been running our team in SF.

In that sense, I can feel a lot of the normal grind burnout that a lot of these other players are feeling. I’m on JQ right now to be as supportive of the WvW community as I can, but at the same time I like having my guild aspects covered. My team has come from a very high end background in competitive gaming, well at least my core members and we have been teaching that outward to the remainder of the team to the best of our ability. I really enjoy this game and all the aspects that come with it. The vista views are a real work of art and the art department did a kitten good job on this game. I like to appreciate art, hell I draw at times as well, so I can appreciate the level of detail taken in to our computer world built for us. The musical score that was done for this game is pretty phenomenal as well. So, instead of digging in to some hypothetical drama, maybe there are more ppl than myself realizing what is available and attempting to not burn out on something they are enjoying at this junction in their lives. I know I am..

I think the reason these threads get so heated is because there are a lot of people in these servers that are more passionate about the WvW experience than even they’ll admit.

Jed! I must say it’s been a blast having you all on JQ with us. TS is as lively and fun as I ever remember it, even when we’re getting hit on both fronts and the potential for frustration runs high.

Much appreciated sir. Last night was one of my lots of deep breaths nights. SoS and BG were keeping me on the ropes for sure. I’m glad everyone working with me was extremely patient and calm throughout the experience. We had a ton of good fights and were able to properly launch counter offenses against both servers throwin’ it down 1v2 style (That’s my material and you need my blessing to use it!). Both SoS and BG made me put on a game face last night and I couldn’t live up to on my expectations that I wanted. In any case I was forced to learn a new respect for BG last night on doing things proper when it comes to map tactics in response to the events happening on the map.

Cheers to both servers as usual, I’m lookin’ forward to some hard fights out there!

Props to the BG teams out there on JQ BL this evening. Having to run emergency response team to everything on both sides was tiring. Fights with SoS were business as usual, neither side did anything fantastic, but BG was throwin’ down pretty hard, keep it up guys

Being new to JQ personally so far my experience has been awesome. The coordination between teams, forum community, hell even a welcoming committee with cookies! I’m glad that my teams full analysis of all prospective servers and vote came down to joining JQ. What won me over was the personal approach that was taken toward myself. Plus, I’ve gotten to bridge the gap between servers in the past with JQ having fought them soo much. The queue times are close to non-existent even with the new transfers that have come in, I think it actually gives time to be relaxed and actually get some in game content done and not feel like WvW is another job. In any case I’d recommend JQ.

I think the reason these threads get so heated is because there are a lot of people in these servers that are more passionate about the WvW experience than even they’ll admit.
