Im a little worried about the laurel system. I haven’t been playing for a very long time so i dont have a lot of laurels, and this seems like i may lose out on getting them.
It does look like it will be better, but lets wait and see. I am hopeful!
I also loved SAB and want to see it make a return. It was SO much fun and so many awesome references.
Camp 2: Players who never played GW1 during it’s glory days and come to GW2 from other games. These are the ones typically stalwartly defending everything in GW2 and poo-pooing anyone who brings up anything with GW1 in the discussion.
Camp 3?
I played through guild wars 1, but once i completed the campaigns I had very little interest in the game. It was fun to co-op and that was it, there was very little longevity in it for me.
I loved guild wars 2 at beta and i still love it today. Guild wars 1 combat is just the usual stuff, at least guild wars 2 feels more active/action’y
Sadly the zerging about is a side-effect of the attempt to encourage good grouping. Without adding any hard-limits to player group sizes in the world, they ended up with players banding together into zergs to just run from ‘champ to champ’ or ‘event to event’ to fast-grind levels and so on.
That said, its all opinion based. I -love- guild wars 2, and to say that ‘its not a guild wars game’ is complete and utter trash. Like it or not, it is guild wars, its set in the same world and it makes kitten fine use of that world. Find me another mmo where the world actively changes and doesn’t just ‘reset’ because ‘yay good guys won the day’
On a side-note, way, way back when they started the early betas and they showed the game in dev, they did pretty much show you all it was not going to be a copy of guild wars 1.
Guild wars 1 was a great game, but frankly its combat is getting dated and old. I can’t stand traditional mmo combat anymore, it just bores the hell out of me.
I don’t particularly support the idea of creating a ‘new never seen before’ race that has appeared out of nowhere, when we have several incredible already built up races from which to choose from in-game. At least not before they, you know, find things hinting towards a new race.
Kodan is the most obvious choice. Followed shortly after by Tengu.
If you want to try it, there is also the Skritt and the Hylek.
All four of these races in the world have immense back-story, supporting lore, and more importantly:
Animations, voice acting and models/textures already completed in game from which to form a base off to start a ‘player’ race.
My apologies to you, but your idea for a new race does not seem very original or fitting to the world/tone of guild wars. Furthermore telepathy is a NIGHTMARE to write for story wise.
Once you introduce a telepath, so much flies out of the window and you end up in massive plot holes. How would this new race survive? More importantly, if they are telepathic, they would surely suffer from the influence of the dragons.
The sylvari as a race are semi-telepathic in the way that they have the dreams and the tree, and that has corrupted several of them to the darker paths. I cannot imagine a race that is naturally telepathic surviving the influence of the elder dragons.
Lastly, a lot of your lore relies on the ‘unknown’ and that alone is a significant plot hole. I have worked in game design, and on the document itself you cannot say ‘we dont know how this player race learned how to speak the languages of tyria’ you MUST list in detail how things like that happened, because the design team needs to know.
While you may not want the players to know, you simply cannot have such glaring holes in a races mythology/back-story for it to be successful.
I think its past time that the players get the relevant titles from their orders, yes?
Perhap’s you could even code in so that when a title is active, npc’s act accordingly.
Now, i don’t mean the ‘big amazing you are the hero’ titles.
Just the simple ones from each order.
I.E
Vigil – Recruit, Crusader, Tactician. Possibly Warmaster?
It would be nice to actually have the titles from your order and for NPC’s to regard you as such. It still irks me when you walk up to a vigil npc as a vigil member and they’re just ‘hello recruit’ or just don’t acknowledge you at all.
If you dont have the titles on, you don’t get the recognition. Would that be so hard to code in? It seems like a simple word tweak. When npcs talk to you by name, you just add in [ordertitle] [name] instead of [name] , right?
Thoughts?
Sorry for your loss and best of luck in talking with Arenanet. Be prepared to give your evidence though, no offense.
Oh, and don’t post that stuff here. When Arenanet contact you, if they do, give it to them and only them.
A lot of other games have done this sorta stuff, and i think Arenanet will reach out to you. That said, let us know what happens!
I would imagine that we -might- see hints towards Cantha probably in the LS in the next year.
Most likely, as above, it will be in the form of whisper agents undercover. As Arenanet are very good at sticking to the lore, they will probably do one of two things:
1) Scouting/situation report for Elona, in which you play as the agent and only the agent to get a taste.
2) Send only human players, give none-human players potions or other transformation/hiding methods.
Id rather see SAB. Loved the throwback to those old platforming nintendo/sega games.
Of course nothing is stopping them from opening SAB and doing this :P
As a female writer and a fan of Disney, i am looking forwards to what you bring to the table. Seems a lot of people here mistake ‘Disney’ for ‘children’ and yes while those stories do appeal to kids and are marketed as such…
Disney has some of the most incredibly dark themes and adult storytelling woven into the narrative. It’s just not ‘in your face’ like blatant movies often are.
Oh, and also one of my favorite authors, a woman, writes an incredibly gritty, dark and adult werewolf novel series which does NOT hold back on the gore detail, seriously, so less of the ‘women write girly girly stuff’ rubbish please.
I haven’t done any of the living world yet, its unlocked but im leveling a new character up to enjoy it.
Ignore them and find a different group. Thats all.
I was running out of things to do until I realize I didn’t do half of the content because it don’t give good gold/hour.
I think that’s one of the problem. If the content dont’ give good gold/hour people just don’t do them.
Don’t care about gold/hour.
Here for the adventure. I have over 330 hours in guild wars 2, i probably have less gold than most new players and less gear. Do i care? Nope.
Id just like to point out that the razing of Lion’s Arche has had a permanent effect in that the area itself is devastated and there are also refugee camps around.
Plus, the time of the world moves in real time now. Things change and move as we go!
Says it in the title.
Thank you.
As a returning player, ive been away for nearly a year and i have returned to guild wars 2. Quite looking forwards to staying awhile longer this time and enjoying the world some more. I drifted away in search of another mmo with exploration and excitement, i found a home and then bad management destroyed it. Thus, i returned to guild wars because there just isnt anything else like it out there.
As to the people complaining about ‘lack of content’
I remind you that you have been playing for nearly two years, and that the ‘lack of content’ is not a lack of content, its that you have finished the content.
There is more than enough content here to justify the price tag. Furthermore, if you add up all the living story stuff from the past year and all the new rewards and other such changes, you have tonne of content that was added to the game. Just because it gets added in small chunks at a time that doesn’t make it lacking.
The bigger picture is great overall.
So, thank you ArenaNet. Home sweet home it seems!

1, 2,3: No.
1) I would not mind some sort of travelling vehicle but the problem here is that guild wars is paced a certain way and this interrupts the pacing for new players.
2) If WP were account bound this renders map completion a lot easier and also a lot more confusing to players. Case in point returning players have explored part of an area, but make a new character to get back into the game are now terribly confused.
3) WP and walk.
Generally you are supposed to walk to the areas, why? because the world lives! On my journey from point A to B, on foot, i will often bump into maybe 3-4 open world events, perhaps a boss occasionally or go off the beaten path in search of a mining node.
Exploring is half the fun.
Marriage would be a really cool thing. I think it should grant you both the ability to share a second name together, and some benefits. I am not sure about account-bound items being shared though.
There are adult concepts in guild wars 2. families discuss lives and so on, its in the ambience.
There is also a LOT of sadness.
In lions arch read through the posters of the lost, for example. We’ve seen heroes come and go and death in-game.
Also, todays teaser is really, really forboding something terrible happening. I think its going to be Rytlock.
(edited by Kitsunami.6241)
Cinder Tailchaser, in-game. I’m not exactly new but im a returning player so im ‘new’ to the world as it is now, and i never did the dungeons.
If you ever want to do the dungeons with a clueless group hit me up sometime.
Exactly!
And imagine the possibilities…
A Vigil naval battle where your manning the ship cannons as the ship dodges fire.
Anyhow..
You could also make it so any order can play the storyline, but that they react differently to them.
I.E – If you play priory missions as vigil or whisperers, the dialog and such changes to reflect you being called in to support the priory NPC in the mission instead.
Simple really.
Could we perhaps some-day get some order mission packs?
I would pay a reasonable gem-price to purchase mission packs that give us some little mini-storylines around our orders.
I.E – The Priory Pack would include 3-4 small adventures which may include one dungeon, based around you as a priory member.
example:
1. Explore ancient ruin/tomb/etc
2. Locate an artifact
3. Solve an ancient riddle/puzzle
4. Defeat a foe or end a threat that has arisen as a result of 1/2/3 (you woke something up, you found ancient magic that turned somebody evil, etc)
Just to give some life and flesh out the orders a little more. They could be themed to match the style, so priory would be all about exploration, history, lore and so on. Whispers would be stealth, assasinations, poisonings, etc and of course Vigil would be skirmishs, warfare and sieges.
Well? I mean it has to be doable and if you sell the packs for gem’s its surely justifiable to your chief exec’s.
Secret world sells comic book styled ‘Issues’ which feature a storyline, some new rewards and sometimes a dungeon. I think guild wars could seriously benefit from developing something along those lines to go alongside the free living world content.
The guild armor/gear is really weak in this game:
The armor sets aren’t even sets, just a chestpiece that seems to be very bland. I would MUCH prefer a tabard to go over our armor sets or a cloak option.
Secondly: The guild weaponry.
What is the point? I really liked the axe and the staff/pistol but the other weaponry seems very redundant. There is also a lot of missing weaponry here. To be honest, this is also very bland when compared to the other gear in the game.
Were supposed to be proudly representing our guilds but the current weaponry is just very bland and doesnt look cool at all.
What I would like to see:
- More guild weaponry
- More guild armor options (full armor sets at least, cloaks, tabards, more than one type of armor set for each class of armor.)
- A more appealing design for the guild weaponry, the current weaponry is very unimpressive when you compare it to the rest of the games weapons.
- TABARDS/Cloaks. Frankly why would you want to wear the bleak, bland and generally awful guild armor when you can wear something epic instead and put a tabard over it?
Thanks.
I concur. Please, I want my tabard/cloak option.
Frankly the guild armor is dissapointingly generic and so are the weapons, they all are bleak and very dissapointing and not worth the influence.
What i wish:
1) Skritt. The SHEER potential for a completely laughable ‘personal’ storyline quest which is entirely made for fun about a little skritt groups journey through life? Glorious. Potential for a side-quest or a optional add on maybe?
Skritt missions would be for fun, laugh and jokes. It would give your GW2 writing team somethign to play with for a good time. Play as one, with two AI skritt that follow you about.
You could even make it so they dont have classes, they just have a specifically made ‘skritt’ class with its own abilitys and so on…
2) An entirely new race – Something new and cool. The asura were driven up from the surface near the end of Guildwars, so how about something else appearing from somewhere?
3) Kodan. Because polar bears are cool.
Whats most likely:
1) Tengu – They have SO much lore and are fleshed out so much, they have dialogue already voiced, they probably have cinematics already and i am willing to bet animations have been done for most of them especially as they were being considered as a player race initially.
2) Largo, as its already been stated above I wont expand here.
3) Humanity – The other humans. They were seperate races in gw1, so perhaps they should be seperate in number 2. It would make sense to have different style human characters, asian and so forth. Cantha, and the other human lands.
Just a forenote: Events can be bugged and stop working but theres also this to mention -
Some are failure events. That is to say, they have a pre-event which might be ‘stop the containment failure’
And if players fail it, then another event will occur directly as a result.
only one i can give as an example is the norn 1-15 area, the evil son of svanir mage guy. He tries to summon something, if you dont stop him he starts another event to defeat the giant elemental thing of doom that will smash up the area.
Borlis Pass here,
Ive brought in two new players, and have got another 2-3 to return with me.
WvWvW is pretty full lately, and the world seems very strong.
The main reason your seeing a decline is because GW2 launched with a TONNE of servers and has yet to merge any. Most games by now have merged a few servers together. Population has finally started to balance across the servers plus theres guesting so many people may home on one server but play a lot on another.
Last night in BP in the 1-15 area for the norn there was a huge event and at least 30+ players were around at it, fighting away merrily.
So the game is not dead, its just a lot more spread out nowadays because there are afterall 5 major cities (and you dont need to be in one to use the trading hubs/craft), huge areas to explore and tonnes of different content places to visit. Plus, the dungeon areas are often packed.
Then theres also the fact theres multiple instances.
Oh, and as an aside, i HATE the trinity.
Despite the fact i play a healer, always, i still hate it and guild wars was very refreshing. Love guardian.
You really dont need this here. Unfortunately you wont convince many of us with the traditionally used ‘WoW is best game ever, plz copy wow into this game’
I have played all sorts of MMORPG’s in my time and I have to say, in my experience at least the open PvP servers on games that were designed to be fantasy adventures as you put it, were always underpopulated and required merging.
Now I have no problems with PvP, I enjoy constructive PvP and a good fight. I enjoy WvWvW and PvP. What I do not approve of is ganking (Read: ganging up on newbies, ruining their experience and killing them ‘for fun’ because your higher level and they have no chance) , griefing (Spawn camping, corpse camping, following a player/group/guild around and killing them just because you can and its ‘fun’ for you, ruining their play time.) and general kitten’ness that follows the term’ open pvp’ into ANY mmorpg.
Without fail, I have never seen a good community of open pvpers. I have always seen open pvp descend into camping on spawns, griefing and ganking. High level players who cant play prey on lowbies, groups get together to block off entire zones because they ‘felt’ like ruining the rest of the servers day, etc.
Open PvP’ers are a minority in a game designed for PvE. This is just how it is. If there was ever a system that allowed open PvP, and was fair, i would probably go for it but to date I have yet to see a fair open PvP mmorpg.
Though, TERA got pretty close for me. I did like the fact that my little level 20 was capable of destroying a level 50 guy who couldn’t play the game and just wanted to ‘prey’ on us lowbies.
But anyway, i digress.
There are TONNES of open PvP options out there. The market is saturated with games built for you. Why do you want to change this one?
TERA, Rift, Darkfall, Age of conan, are the first few that come to mind.
One day, we will see a game like EVE but MMORPG fantasy, and that will be great. I do love the risks in pvp, the problem is that as of yet, i have not seen a system structured that will stop those who would abuse it, abusing it.
Anyway! Heres why no pvp:
1) Balancing. Once its constant pvp, then balancing is done towards PvP and PvE. Keeping the two seperate is fine but too many games destroy PvE in attempt to balance PvP.
2) Content: Working on pvp content takes time and money ,and its a minority of players (sorry guys, even if theres thousands of you, there are most likely hundreds of thousands of people that dont want pvp)
Secondly, it just does not work in the current lore. The dragons are destroying tyria, we do not have time for the petty rivalries between the races we have to STOP them.
Once they are sorted, i think we can look at open pvp. Why? because frankly i think it would be really cool to see a Charr vs human war again, with battles at the major places in the game. Afterall once the dragons are dealt with…whats to stop the charr expanding? Or the humans trying to retake ascalon, etc.
But, as it is, the worlds races cannot afford to be fighting each other or they will lose. Thus: No lore basis for PvP.
This is why its all done in the mists.

Okay i can only submit so many tickets…
Borliss Pass:
Straights of Devestation – FREQUENTLY unable to do the temple assault because one of the three’ reinforcement’ dynamic events breaks.
Several skill challenges frozen, and so on and so forth…
I haven’t logged in in over a week because the entire Orr area on borliss pass seems broken, every time i log in (logged in today, escort quest for southern reinforcements was frozen) they are frozen/broke, and i just dont feel like playing any of my alt’s.
Ive grown really tired of the constantly breaking DE’s and world bosses
Luckily ,i trust you guys to get it all working. So, im gonna sit out for another week or so and play various new releases while I wait!
GTX 580 here, and I too have started having the same problem when i reached orr.
Straights of Devestation and Timberline Falls – Consitantly crashed me with ‘corrupted file’ issues.
Everywhere else? fine. I can log on with any of my other characters in other areas just fine.
Mem Arena ‘Transient’ capacity exceeded. Attempted alloc category: ‘Cinema Tex’ Size: 65584
Texture missing mip chain: 0×00c7bd
Model ‘0×015462’: Missing anim or fallbacks: zeropose
Texture missing mip chain: 0×01523d
Texture missing mip chain: 0×01523f
File 0xf940 stream 0×0 is corrupt
Raw file 0×0000f940:0×00035a6c has CRC 0xd2146357.
Deleting file 0×0000f940
etc. etc. Files are so many I cant even count them!
Corrupt-facefbb0, Corrupt-98b899c7, Corrupt-fa33fa7e Corrupt-5ff95f2b
etc.
I have re verified multiple times, nothing works.
I also tried to run it off a portable HD backup that was done yesterday. No dice, that crashes ONLY on my straights of Orr character.
Before people suggest hardware issues: The case fan snapped so I had to take the entire desktop to be looked at by a trusted engineer friend, who works in computer repairs for a living.
He (for free) checked my entire desktop out and I got a pass (except for the case fan obviously)
So, I am pretty sure there is no hardware issues here on my end as that was yesterday, and my guild wars issues started 2-3 days ago…in timberline falls, and straights of Orr. NOWHERE else.

um, as far as I am aware, the SERVERS are all located in the same place.
The login and support services, a different thing entirely, are regional.
I would really like to see more ranged weaponry expanded upon for the classes.
For example, the engineer should not use the rifle as a shotgun. They should get a rifle, thats a real rifle, and have a shotgun model for the shotgun. Its disorientating to have a sniper rifle yet im firing it from the hip, etc.
I want to see the elementalist and mesmer get some sort of rifle, pistol or so forth functionality too. I personally do not see why elementalist cannot have a gun or bow, and be using said weapon to apply elements to the bullets or arrows.
Simply put, I would like the mission mode from guild wars 1 to be reintroduced, but doing it using your order.
So, in your order instance you could have a npc to talk to who sends you out on missions (or as you rank up) who you talk to to get the latest information.
This would then send you on themed missions for the three orders, which would just be your basic flavored missions/dungeons.
They could reward: Order themed gear/weaponry, providing an alternate way to get your uniform. Perhaps with lower stats than the higher tiered stuff and different appearances or variations.
They would be as follows:
Priory Missions – Explore ruins, indiana jones style. Lots of traps, jumping puzzles, puzzles and general adventure feel to them.
Secondly, scholarly missions – Researching artifacts, experimenting on creatures, researching creatures and lore based missions etc.
Whispers Missions – Assassinations, stealth missions, espionage and spy as well as scouting missions. Stealing technology and so forth.
Vigil Missions – Simple war missions on the front lines and all around Tyria. Escort missions, siege missions, outright army vs army clashes and general fighting with big bad enemies, survival missions, etc.
etc.
With the missions giving the theme of your order, perhaps some npcs to talk to and interact with that discuss your missions or latest thing.
This would just give you the option of levelling without doing the personal storyline if you so choose, down an alternate path where you just stick with your order and interact with them.
It would also give additional content for everyone to do and another reason to go back into your personal instance of your order.
tengu and kodan, most likely…sorry.
I would LOVE skritt, but they cannot be a playable race because the lore itself does not support it!
They are incredibly, incredibly stupid when left without a group so the only viable way to work on this would mean that they would need the personal story to have you be the leader of a large skritt group.
Which is a lot of work. Other than that, they would also have to find some way to explain why the player skritt can run around the world alone (in world) without losing intelligence.
From a cute standpoint, its great. from a lore standpoint it just isn’t doable…although I would LOVE to see them have plenty of silly inbuilt traits like as already been mentioned, running towards the shinys….
although, the guy above has a really interesting idea. Skritt with less ability and so on being alone but getting more stuff with groups of skritt would be great.
Maybe as a new class as well as a race?
(edited by Kitsunami.6241)
but for what classes?
Give the elementalist a crossbow and she/he becomes an elemental attuned archer with arrows of fiery lightning death for instance…
You cannot simply ‘add a weapon’
What you need is to suggest what type of weapon for what class and what it should do!
Also, i want a crossbow on my elementalist.
Sorry,I play an elementalist and before I retuned, when i was full traited into healing My heals were going past the 1000 mark at level 70, with healing power. Yes, thats nothing, but its not supposed to be.
You aren’t supposed to have massive heals, your supposed to dodge and not get hit.
Elementalist with staff has some of the largest heals i believe, but yeah, you co-ordinate heals with everyone else and combo heal (yes, you can combo some heals) and you will see plenty back.
One example is water elementalist, with aura of restoration, then using other things on top to just keep the healing coming.
Maybe, if we can have some sort of storyline companions. That said, you get influence for doing story quests so I dont see why people would want do it.
It would be good if you had story companions that stuck, so…asura, get your krewe with you the entire time, say you can bring them with as support if your in trouble.
Charr would be able to bring there warband on a mission as assistance..etc, it would give some nice flavoring to the missions and give some MEANING to the time you spent in the first 30 levels.

I wholeheartedly agree. He’s a plot device. Basically, they introduced him to plug the lore hole:
You are no longer the hero, so you can now be mentioned in the storyline when they write it up. ’The 3 orders accompanied the hero Trahearne.."
but..its a cop out, in my opnion. He comes out of NOWHERE and is suddenly the chosen one, hugely powerful, has immense tactical prowess..he just..he’s so perfect it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I have no issues with him being the commander, but he should have been introduced earlier and developed, he should doubt his decisions and ask for advice constantly (you ARE his adviser afterall!) instead he is flawless.
Its also a HUGE flaw that you have NO emotions from your mentor dieng! Seriously, I LOVED my mentor!
Why the heck did we not hold a funeral? I understand, we had the fight to deal with but what about after that? We just go ahead and leave them there, we dont look for the body, we dont hold any sort of funeral…its disgraceful!
As i said, i enjoy the storylines immensely! That isnt my problem.
I just do not enjoy games where you become the big hero, i dont play most singleplayer rpg’s anymore because im tired of the cliche ‘only you can save the world’ rubbish.
I love destinys edge, I just want to be a simple member of my order who ‘helped to save the day’ thats all :/
Yes, I know about that bit with Trahearne…but why do that so late in the story, really? If they were going to plug the lore hole by simply making you insignificant why bother building you up? (Im level 71 by the way so i havent entirely finished yet)
Again, I must re-iterate. I really love the storylines, its just bugging me that we have to be a big hero when I really enjoyed the style of GuildWars 1 where we were simply one of the brave who stood up to defend Tyria..its different, it makes a change to all the other mmo’s where you are the only person (and every other person in the game) who can save the world. Can you see what Im getting out? Its not the instancing, guild wars instanced the storyline, Its the way its been written out to pull you upwards and force some level of importance onto your role in Tyria, which means very little when they write the lore up in the games future.
Also, I love the level 1-30 storylines and they are personal, they are great. It’s the transition from normal member of your order to big bad super hero who’s gonna save tyria that I really, really do not enjoy. It just doesn’t feel right to me…
And as its already been pointed out above, the transitions render everything you did before pointless. So why bother writing and building up to them, I feel the story would benefit immensely from remaining a simple member of your chosen order and making a difference as ‘one of the many’
(edited by Kitsunami.6241)
1) Buff npc’s survivability especially in missions. I feel silly walking past say, a group of 4 vigil warriors who are all dead to a single ettin when the vigil are supposed to be masters of war.
2) Allow replayability of the storyline missions.
3) Most important for me: Allow the storyline missions to react to who is in the instance with you! If im a priory scholar and I have 4 vigil with me, at least let the vigil party members have some silly little options like, to salute the other vigil members or to make a snide comment on the situation at hand, etc.
It feels so incredibly lonely when I bring a group of friends in and we only have my dialogue, and they are never represented or ever reacted to in the instances.
could not agree more, would love to replay the storyline.
Do not want to change the backgrounds etc as that will detract from the replayability of a new character, but i would like to see hardcore mode brought back..
I would also like to see ‘co op’ mode, missions made to react to your group so..if you have one from each order there than you get dialogue that reflects the group you have instead of being wierded out by the fact that the vigil are ignoring the 4 vigil members in the group, and only talking to the single priory member.
Let me begin by saying I adore the game and what you have done with it, I love the personal storyline and really do enjoy them they are enticing and gripping and varied enough to be something I want to keep going through.
What I want to know though is simple. Why has it all become about me? In Guild Wars we were heroes, sure, but it was always ‘part of a group of heroes’ that saved tyria before. Now it boils down to ‘you are the savior of tyria, with these guys’
How are you going to work this into the games lore and storyline? I -really- do not like the progression from member of your order to officer to leadership role over the alliance, its great and all but it just leaves me feeling like its a singleplayer experience, I look back and really wish It was like guildwars’s original mission system where we followed a hero or helped npc’s through the fighting.
I would quite honestly be -really -happy to be just another member in my order, who helped save the day with the rest in the huge fights..instead of ‘grand general marshal of the alliance’ this and that (title made up) who was responsible directly for saving the day.
The problem is that you cannot put us into your lore, so we wont ever make a difference. I dont feel like I can make a difference in the storyline because..-everyone- is doing the same story as me, and so -everyone- is grand marshal general this and that…
I just dont like that feeling. I want to be one of the brave people of tyria who fought the dragons, not singled out as the saviour of all of tyria.
Am I the only person who feels this way?
Regardless I will continue to play and enjoy the storyline, but…I just wish we could be in the lore, because when they write up the lore officially (many years down the line when we beat all the dragons and move to the next big adventure) they cannot mention us as who we were because of so many variables (different starting orders/races/so on)
Hopefully they are going to work something out with it all. Also, who else wants order related titles? I want my explorer title!
(edited by Kitsunami.6241)
thank you so much ArenaNet! You have given me the mmo I have always wanted:
No level limitations
Always play with freinds
No drop limitations
Fun exploration
Underwater content
Epic battles
I love your story, the whole game is feeling amazing and I am eagerly looking forwards to a bright future in guild wars 2.
And from a journalist perspective, the game is astonishing and probably one of the best releases in the mmo market to date, and I sincerely hope it shows your opposition who’s boss.
