So with the preset builds in pvp Anet as proven that they have the ability to make them and they change your rune sigils weapons and amulet.
So is there anyway we could get the ability to make them ourselves and maybe have a list of preset builds we like for each game mode?
They could even work with legendary armor change stats and sigils as long as you have them maybe?
I think it would be awesome and a huge time saver not needing to change everything.

well that depends on how high you can get your ferocity. my ele with out other buffs with food and everything I have had it to 250% crit damage but thats with ferocity food and arcane buff full berserkers. I think thief can get it higher but I am not sure. there is also a sigil that can give 250 ferocity. Basically you will have to look at what all can give ferocity to you and figure it out.
so you start off at 150% base you get 1 percent for every 15 ferocity so 50×15=750 ferocity which =200% crit damage
This is a kind of request for anet.
Could you put into the game an apply to all armor when right clicking infusions or runes?
I think this would be an awesome thing to put into the game sense it will go very well with how you can swap runes. Right clicking on runes or infusions will have an option to apply from head to foot up to 6 runes or infusion or however many you have.
good idea? I think this would be very nice thing to have, and hopefully not hard to put into the game, but I am no developer.

I have to agree with what allot of the critics have said about the medium armor another trench coat does not sound amazing.
On the other hand the other two armors do not look that bad.
From what I can tell most people who are going to post on forums like this are going to be those who were or are working towards the armor and do not like it. Most who do are probably just waiting for it and don’t care to say anything.
But please try something other than tench coats next time lol 90% or so trench coats for medium armor.
So here is a link to a WP video that is pretty good idea of how to rework tempest and make it a better thing. I do not necessarily agree with everything said but most his ideas are really good, and if nothing else the overall theme of his ideas are good.
Anet if you see this it would be nice to see in game.
Hi anet you say that you look at all the forum posts or something so; So the patch is coming soon and I would love it if you could make arcane, and conjure skills better. They are cool skills but because how they work and take up utilities that you need as an elementalist if you could do something like this
1. conjures: to me this seems easy 30cd 60 for elite no cast time and no extra weapon on ground im not a computer programmer but it sounds easy to me.
2. arcanes: just lower cd they are really long for how little they do. (3blocks 60sec cd? huh?)

I main ele and I think from time to time how almost useless some traits and abilities are. Why cant they all be good, and all be tempting, and fun to use instead of some are good, and meta seems to be balanced around those mostly?
This goes for basically all classes I am sure. Why do we have skills that nobody (or very few mostly new people) uses? Anet?
I wont even go into the race skills because those seem to be made to be useless.
I agree it is sad they took it away, it made a kinda boring and mostly useless skill good and useful.
What I think we need is something that involves our utilities like conjures to be made viable without adding anything that uses auras because if you buff stuff with auras of course that us just going to add to the ele bunker but if you buff utilities/traits somehow that is not part of the ele heal build then you might get a different build come out of it.
I would love to play pvp ele but not bunker but I also don’t want ele bunker destroyed lol
I could say conjures are the least useful right now, or maybe arcane skills. glyph’s are kinda useless too but ill stay with conjures because I would love those made useful.
1. make conjures like engie kits but with 10 second cd fgs maybe 30-40 second
2. basically half arcane skills CD
3. make functionality of glyphs better they are good but could be made more interesting and usefull to use. though some of them are usefull in the right situation most are not much
4. make elite skills more elite like and less of a which kinda ok skill should I use, a long cd 4 second aura, eeh or a mobility escape tool? of course if firey great sword was more like a kit which would make it allot more usefull that would fix it right there.
5. this one might fit other classes as well make it so that the traits you choose is good for different situations and each of them is tempting and exciting to take rather then the almost no brainer as it is right now. reduce all cd 33 percent and more damage or 10 percent power becomes condi hmmmm
6. This one is also for all classes. make it so that every class starts with an elite trait line for ele it would be arcane so that it is as good as tempest I don’t know what the machanic it would bring would be but something that competes with tempest.
7. ok last one also for all classes every weapon is usable even if you don’t have the elite trait line equipped I understand the shouts and stuff but make the weapon usable with normal ele. not that war horn would be used much anyway lol
8. edit I would like to add dagger offhand rtl and earth #4 getting the cd lowered. RTL back to just 20 seconds no 40 seconds unless you hit stuff garbage, and earth #4 because it is just a long cd though not as much a concern. the water skills could use a slightly lower cd as well.

I like playing pvp ranked or other but I also like going in and watching other play from time to time. The problem is it is only non ranked I was wondering if they could add the ability to watch not interact or anything only watch players in ranked/unranked? This would give the ability for new players to also see people who (hopefully) know what they are doing and learn from them.
Anyway anet this would be a pretty good thing to add in my opinion and hopefully many others. Thoughts?
One way to make it good for all is make it so all races/classes can learn all racial skills. make it into an almost quest or something learning the skills other races have. Then they can be made good skills with no worries.
So as to not make it too much for utility slots you can only equip one set of racial skills at a time or something.
So today I was putting stuff into the forge, and was having a wonderfully boring time. The thought came to me what if they put the ability on the forge so that you can pick how many times you want to do the recipe you are using? As long as you have the materials you can put in how ever many you want without needing to spend an hour putting in the darn stuff.
Anet if you read this what do you think of this idea? take the grind out of the forge. Please and thanks if you do
For the most part I am happy with ele its fun and can do allot of really good stuff. But if any devs read this post please consider reworking or improving these skills some, please.
First conjure weapons:
these are some really cool skills and can be fun to use. Some of the problems with conjures however are the usability maybe make them like engie kits but with only 15-25 charges or something I don’t know what you think would be balenced.
Second arcane skills:
these seem interesting, and have a very small neche as far as I can tell, but they seem like a very long cd for very little results. maybe lower the cd good amount especially arcane shield gosh that huge cd for 3 blocks lol. Anyway another one is rework it so maybe they come with charges that stack up to 2-3 or something that makes them good and usefull they do seem to be a damage ability.
Third is signets:
these have seen many buffs over the years and for good reasons as far as I can tell because they see very little use fire has use for raid I have seen earth used a few times but for the most part why would I want to use this over all the other options sense ele needs to add survival to thier build in anything other then pve which needs it there sometimes too.
honestly I dont’know what to do for signets but anyway thanks.
I agree but the same could go for elites why would you learn how to use a weapon and then some how forget if you are not using the elite specialization? so what if they untied weapons to elites?
so this does sound very interesting but if you can steal enemy siege I would probably add that siege should be deconstruct-able so that you are not required to just leave it sitting there for some random roamer to come take it later. maybe get some supply back but not the full amount
So I am not sure how well this would work or how well it can be done.
I had the idea. They could change rewards in wvw to increase or be normal depending on how many allies are around, and enemies compared to allies. Like if you are solo roaming and you are outnumbered and kill another player solo it would increase rewards. being lowered per ally near by, but not by too much of course. of course increasing the rewards all together would be good.
so I wanted to put the idea out see if people could come up with a better idea or make the idea better/add to it. and of course try to make roaming rewarding
Though you are probably right (due to anets history), lets not give up hope besides anger does not solve much in cases like this, it seems to just get them to not want to listen.
Anyone else trying out the bowl of tapioca pudding and it not proc the healing power on heal use?
so I don’t know what the devs would think of this, but here is an idea, it might help fix some of what you said too. So instead of completely changing overloads what if make over loads an f5 ability with a 10 second cd and then it does not really affect normal ele swapping and you also cant be spamming overloads; with this you could also change attunments possibly while overloading. Anyway just an idea.
I have a question not sure if this is the right place for it. Are all auras going to be shared with the water trait powerful auras, or just some? I tested it out in the past I could have just missed it, but it looks like only a few get shared. Sense there was some talk about auras I just thought I would ask.
I would not go that far ele is still going to be good and fun but ya conjured weapons are not going to have much use now.
Well I guess we will have to enjoy the specialization for what it is not for what we thought it would be.
lol that whole taunt while its flying around that would be so crazy and hilarious. The pet taunt right now is crazy with it passing block/dodge/evade or most things anyway, or its me having bad lag, very possible. That I want to see though people chasing the dragon around.
so this is not me complaining just something I was thinking about. People thought sustain with ele is bad imagine a mix with druid the sustain is going to be intense
1. Burning
Here are some ideas that came to mind that would possibly fix the situation we are facing with d/d cele ele, and a few other things.
Burning: so as we all know burning on ele is a good deal stronger than it should be so what might fix it is instead of just nerfing ele (or burn guardian) what if we had a mix of this system with the old system of burn.
One stack per person of burning that does more or less damage as the old burn did which stacks duration; I would think the same or a little bit more.
This idea’s burning can still be decently strong which then burning duration can be lowered a bit. I have tried cele on some other classes which depending on the weapon and class with strait damage hits more, or less the same as ele does. Ele just has burning which can easily stack up 6-12 stacks and destroy people.
So as a elementalist main I have tried allot of different ways to play ele, and I have noticed something. I keep coming back to cantrips because they are very useful. I especially like having lightning flash in my builds because of movement. Almost every other utility rarely gets used because what cantrips offer are just needed too much. So I thought I would come up with ideas for changes to other utilities that can make them more useful.
2. Conjure weapons
So for this type of utility instead of trying to fix the skills that can be done some other time I thought maybe fixing the functionality of conjured weapons. The biggest problem with this utility type is that when you are using them you can not have access to any of your normal weapon skills which greatly cripples ele because they need them to survive; taking up a utility slot that when dropped offers nothing, and cant be used for a long time unless you want to go search, and pick up your other weapon.
Conjured weapons can act more like engie kits except you only have 15 charges and these have a 60 second recharge which resets it. I would imagine that numbers can be changed, and trait lines could affect each weapon differently. I realize that frost bow 4 and maybe 5 would need some changes. There could be icd changes on skills that could help balance them to not be op.
3. Glyphs
I cant speak for all eles, but I rarely use, and have rarely have seen anyone use glyphs because again they are not very useful in the large majority of situations. so my thoughts on them.
1. glyph of storms I would say lower the cool down to 30-40 seconds increase the area, and/or possibly add a ground targeting affect where they slowly move to where you want them.
2. Major/minor glyph of elementals. The elementals need to be more affective at attacking kinda like ranger pets. When the skill is activated it should activate immediately, and maybe have a larger affect radius. I have noticed that in pvp they kinda more wonder around maybe getting a hit, or two in before they die with very little usefulness. pve they are a little better but nothing really good there are a bunch of other things that are far more useful. Maybe other affects I don’t know
3 Glyph of elemental power. This skill when first looked at it seems interesting, but as you try it out it just does not give what it should, so my thoughts. What if as you have it equipped it has on hit affects that it gives you. that way the stun breaker that is almost never used for stun breaking gets used for what it should, and when used it gives you a bonus something, -50 percent cc duration for like 10 seconds or 2 stacks stability something useful.
I don’t know what to say about the glyph that rallies people I don’t know how to improve it to be useful.
Thanks I know this is a long post so I might add more of my thoughts later. I think the game is awesome, and think tempest looks pretty cool with new changes. Thanks to the devs for making an awesome game.

I have an idea I don’t see this happening either. Make legendary armor able to swap to what ever rune set you want with out needing to buy any.
I think tempest would be allot better by simply adding stability while overloading and making the aoe bigger; protections should probably last the whole duration too. I would also like to see them reflect projectiles, but I didn’t want to go overboard.
