Since you didn’t have “Maybe”, I voted yes.
Living World/Story FTW
My first legendary was Twilight. I received Dusk as a drop from the Ancient Karka. At first I was going to sell Dusk, 100g on the TP at the time, but I didn’t have enough gold for the listing fee. So I gave it to my guardian. 18 months later I finally decided to acquire all the necessary items and I crafted my Twilight.
Since then I received Tooth of Frostfang from a mob during Teq and The Hunter from the Forge. Crafted both of those into legendary within a couple of weeks.
Only 1st Gen legendary weapons, those forged by using a precrusor, specific weapon gift, gift of fortune and gift of mastery, can be bought/sold/traded.
Any legendary weapon created using the collections is considered 2nd Gen and is account bound, cannot be bought/sold/traded.
That’s how I understand it. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Legendary_weapon
I used a build similar to the one posted by Shylock and enjoyed it a lot.
Here is a link to my Guardian build:

I have always preferred Traveler Runes for my Guardian simply for the 25% movement bonus.
This was a difficult dive mostly because it is a blind jump. You have to guess where the beams are so you can avoid them.
Suggest viewing YouTube vids to get a general idea of where you need to jump off the platform. Another suggestion is to place a personal waypoint in the pool to give yourself a reference point.
NEOCROM, the guide on Dulfy.net for Auric Basin Hero Points explains exactly what is needed and where to go. The guide is up-to-date.
I’ve gotten to the area with multiple characters using the techniques described in the guide.
Is this character level 15 or above?
If not then the World Completion will not be displayed.

8 characters with 214 hero points each.
I’m certain ANET has said that any legendary crafted using the new system will be account-bound.

First paragraph should answer your question.
Also, they give out the additional Vet Char slots once a week. So you probably wont get it right away. I had to wait a week for mine.

Not every player in the game has access to a guild that has players who are willing to put aside time to help others, while receiving an inferior reward for their time invested. Why would I want to play a dungeon that will offer me a pitiful reward, when I could do new content that would be a far better usage of my time? Consider that this selfish view isn’t uncommon, and saying otherwise is just wishful thinking.
If you are on an NA server you do have access to such a guild. There is at least one guild that prides itself on helping and teaching guild members with anything in the game.
We help members get achievements, levels or just to the other side of a map.
We teach members the different dungeons paths. We will do story mode if needed.
We teach members the different fractals.
We teach members how fun PvP is, if they are interested.
We teach members how fun WvW is, if they are interested.
Some things we don’t do is immaturity, drama, or elitism.
These are the changes I would make:
Pets – Currently neither pet has synergy with the build. I would swap both for Jungle Stalker (might) and Red Moa (fury). After HoT release I would swap Red Moa for Tiger.
Armor – I would change to Berserker armor. Although the vitality seems to help it is really hurting your damage output. With Valkyrie and fury you have a 54% chance of a critical hit. But with Berserker and fury you have a 76% chance of a critical hit. I would rather kill the mob faster than have extra health that I don’t really need.
Traits – As Puck stated, I would swap Nature Magic for Skirmishing and select the following traits: Primal Reflexes, Spotter, and Quick Draw. I would also swap Resounding Timbre for Companion’s Might in Beast Mastery.
Weapons – You could go with Puck recommendation of swapping longbow for sword/axe or not. Both are good choices. I personally prefer the longbow in open world.
With the changes above, the open world mob is normally dead before they can close the 1200+ range of the longbow. If they get close, I swap to greatsword and finish them with Hilt Bash and Maul.
I really enjoy playing builds with lots of AoE, just dive into the middle of mobs and melt things (thereby need some degree of tankiness – or at least some means of not dying immediately). So if there is currently a class/build that does that very well (by that I mean I can do that vs tough content in dungeons and whatnot) I want to try that out.
I would also recommend necromancer or engineer since you are interested in condition damage.
A necromancer has a high health pool and basically three different health pools to work from which adds significantly to their survivability.
Search for Nemesis on Youtube.
An engineer has the potential for high sustained condition damage over time and control.
Search for Sesshi SC on Youtube.
Both are examples of the potential each class has to offer.
I done all hero challenges already (100% map completion), am at Lvl 80 with maxed out every trait and specialization, and I have 200 hero points with nothing to do.
You are missing 13 hero points. Have you explored WvW yet?

TTS does Triple Trouble 3 times a day at least 4 times a week. They have a calendar on their website.
www.ttsgamers.com
Their only requirement is that you join their Teamspeak server and listen to the instructions.
My guild would like to thank you for the heads up Gaile. Now we can plan accordingly. A lot of our members were interested in testing the Raid that will be available during the upcoming Beta Weekend.
I don’t believe Light of Dwayna is the cause of the dye preview bug. I have had this occur on several characters and they do not have Light of Dwayna equipped. Switching maps or going to the character select screen normally clears the bug, until you change dyes again.
I used the tips and techniques explained in the video linked below for both Dodgy Crowd and Wicked Rodeo achievements.
Do you need help with a specific achievement or all achievements?
Look me up in game. I’ll help.
Have you done this, “When you finally reach the hidden basement of the archives and have talked to Ogden, touch the Ornate Hourglass to get teleported to Glint’s Lair.”
Have you tried repairing your client?

It has worked for others that have experienced disconnects/crashes in LS2 episodes.

Others have reported similar issues with LS 2 episodes and this has worked for one so far.
You’re welcome.
I have had this happen only 3 times. Two times at Crimson and once at Cobalt. From what I heard/read, you need to tag one of the veteran wurms that spawn during phase 1.
I know the one time at Cobalt I didn’t get the chest, I was on the reflect team and I don’t think I tagged a wurm.
Someone else has posted a similar issue but during a different episode.

The second slot is for Agony Infusions. You cannot use omni infusions in agony infusion slots.

I was replaying that episode today with no issues.

Yes, dungeons give 20 per path per day.
Also the Wiki has acquisition broken down for you.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Empyreal_Fragment
DR = diminished returns (mechanism Anet uses to discourage prolonged farming).
I suggest you break it out into a checklist. List all components required. Focus on one until complete, then move to the next.
Both times I made a legendary T6 mats took the longest to acquire. So I left those for last.
Focus on the easy ones, Gift of Exploration, Gift of Thorns or Gift of Wood.
I honestly do not know. I have had a grand total of two BLT tickets ever and not at the same time.
Maybe the chest doesn’t drop e-frags because it isn’t associated with a jumping puzzle.
Based on your description, the Vista in the Drowned Brine is nothing more than a vista.
They probably changed those items from “Account bound on acquire” to “Account bound”. This means the previous version items won’t stack with the current version items because the game sees them as completely different items. Even though they are technically the same item.
There are several items that have this problem, Blade Shard quickly comes to mind. The developers have done the same thing in previous updates, causing the same problem.
I truly do not know understand their logic with this issue.
7 Characters @ lvl 80 with 100% map completion.
If you want a direct link to Microsoft for DirectX – http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
I don’t believe it does count towards daily/monthly achievements because it is a seasonal jumping puzzle. It also probably doesn’t count towards the permanent jumping puzzle achievement for the same reason.
Completed. I hope the results will provide useful information.
I just tried it three times in-game and I was able to walk to the edge of the waterfall and jump each time without the goggles being removed.
Sorry it’s not working for you.

When I start planning a new computer build I always start with the processor then work from there.
I normally go with the current chip, which right now is “Haswell” from Intel. I’ve never used AMD processors so I don’t have info on their current product. If you wait a few months, September timeframe, Intel should be releasing the “Haswell-E” along with a new motherboard chipset and DDR4 memory support.
In my last two builds I used Gigabyte motherboards. I choose Gigabyte simply because they fit into my budget and had the options I wanted. I never had any problems from either. I would still be using my desktop, which was built in 2007, if it could have survived a lightning strike.
My current wishlist has a Intel Haswell i7-4790K processor and ASUS Maximus Hero VII motherboard. But this will change when after the Haswell-E is released.
Things I look for when choosing a motherboard:
Is it compatible with the chosen processor?
Does it have all ports I need? (USB 3.0, SATA 6, PCI-Express, etc..)
What memory is compatible? (check manufacturer’s site)
And the Most Important – Does It Fit My Budget?
Since you have tried repairing and different settings without success, the next would be drivers then hardware.
Remove your current GPU driver and do a clean install of a previous version.
Example: If you have Nivida GeForce 377.91 or 340.43 (beta) installed, uninstall and do a clean version of GeForce 377.88.
And for good measure, do another " -repair" after the new video driver has been installed.
If the original problem persists, then I would look at hardware. Not all games task the GPU the same.
I would also try lower graphic settings. It could be an issue with high settings/post processing and the video driver.
Change to a setting that doesn’t have the problem, medium or low, and increase until it shows up again. Then report back with results, which setting caused the graphic anomaly.
Uncheck the top three filter options, Have Materials, Gain Experience and Can Equip, and you should see your list of available recipes.
You answered your own question. Precursors were created before ascended stats were introduced into the game, therefore precursors have exotic stats.
In my opinion, you should use what is available to in-game to provide any advantage over your opponent. Even one percent could be the difference in applying a finisher or having one applied.
Yes, effects created by sigils can be modified by buffs.
Based on the image I would say that you need to zoom in on your minimap.
Legendary Defender of Rata Sum title??
If this exists, then it is a highly guarded achievement. Simple searches result in nothing explaining how to achieve it.
I’ve been using a hybrid build on my Necro for about a year and I enjoy it very much.
6/6/0/0/2
Scepter/Dagger – Condi
Axe/Focus – Berzerker
With full Corruption stack, bleeds hit for 1000-1200.
Ok I’ll ask the silly question. Did you press F1 while attacking?
You will need an Upgrade Extractor which is available at the Gem Store.
