If there’s a second druid, you can make it more damage focused :
dropping frost spirit and spotter, for quickening zephyr, and Strider’s Defense, for some amazing projectile hate.
So I googled to see if there was any new legendary news, and this forum thread was the newest thing… RIP

As far as I know, there has been no news about the second set, no teasers, no leaks, just information embargo.
As someone who preordered HoT with little hesitation, I am slightly off-put by the lack of communication.

I have run this path multiple times this week, despite the troubles tied to finding people to do it with. However, every single time I do path 2, I do not receive credit for the Sanctuary Survivor completion achievement.
Am I doing something wrong? Tell me there’s something I am doing wrong that I can change to get credit please, anyone.

Shield of avenger command stun breaks too. So does SyG (bonus stability), SY (bonus everything but long CD), CoP (all condi’s gone too) and JI (tele + burn dps). Still more power to you for using it.
Sure, but overall the 12% damage reduction, retal, weakness, and stunbreak on a now 20 second cooldown make it quite a good deal for a full zerk guard with less than 12k hp.

It’s really fun for HoT. I also manage fine for fractals switching SoJ for Reflect wall sometimes. I don’t pvp or wvw or raid on my guard.
I can see all the scepter 1 spam with a sigil of earth equiped LOL. #VipERGuard
I’m enjoying the Signet of Judgement buff, but seriously- even with a reduced cooldown, I have no reason to use Bane Signet’s active.
a possible fix to this issue would be to:
give a debuff after [insert mediocre time range ] of inactivity that does 1% Hp dmg per second. Additionally, while this is active, you do not receive participation for events. When you do an action [from a specified list of actions] the debuff gets removed.

If you don’t want to collect things, then you don’t have to. You have the entire lifespan of the game to complete what you deem worthy of doing.
If you’d rather farm lumber in Orr, or do jump puzzles all day, more power to you.

would this spirit weapon rework intended for core guardian or the elite spec dragonhunter ?
I have HoT, but somehow I find myself using core Guard GS& Mace/focus. I would probably intend this based on improving core as I don’t really have any opinion on the state of dragonhunter currently.
Dear fellow guardians, would it be too strong if spirit weapons were summoned as long as the skill is equipped?
The active would still put the active skill on cooldown but it wouldn’t affect the spirit weapons passive abilities.
Is this the kind of buff that would make spirit weapons more usable?

I only bought 1 copper-salvage-o-matic, and so the account bound character slot would be a good investment for me. Although it’s a bit too pricy at the moment I would surely buy it when it goes on sale.
Guardian has the 2nd strongest autoattack chain in the game, right behind Revenant sword. Revenant sword auto is getting nerfed. Guardian will (probably) have the strongest autoattack chain, hopefully still decent burst with traps, and good offensive support with FMW.

Shield is actually quite nice now if you build for a defensive AEGIS build.
Granted those builds are no where near meta.
The thing that really needs changed is the shield trait.
Instead of toughness if it caused shield 4 to taunt enemies it hits and shield 5 to grant resistance then the shield would be truly useful.
I Don’t know about you but I can’t remember the last time I saw a guardian using a shield.
Honestly, if Anet simply added evasion to Wings of Resolve (and have its leap distance not be affected by cripple/chill/slow etc) I’d be completely satisfied with just that as our ground target peel/chase

I’ve personally been rocking the cele ammy but that’s because I like its versatility.
This skill is going to straight make me mad. It can’t even be properly used as a gap closer because it’s so hard to control against moving targets, and you RARELY get the blind benefit.
Seriously, this charge needs to home a bit better and be allowed to land early, as it stands, this skill is useful for like… starting a fight and that’s basically it…

It also needs its after cast removed and radius increased. Its far too easily interrupted and it doesnt hit very reliably. Id make it pulse more frequently for the same total duration as well.
You mean like eight 1 second pulses ?!
Skill 4 is one of the better skills. But its not perfect. The pulses are really slow. So for blind groups of mobs its kind of weak.
Instant cast and it’s perfect. A bit of life force gen and it’s the best skill on greatsword.
Death spiral is actually pretty good. It can generate 12-36% life force, it clears blinds, stacks vuln, works well with leeching.
It just needs about 1/4-1/2 of a second taken off the beginning of the cast time to be effective.

Only problem I see with Nightfall is that it roots you in place for quite a considerable amount of time.
Easy fix: make it instant cast.

My list of suggestions so far:
Greatsword Changes:
#1: The auto attack should have their damage increased by 10%, and increase the chill duration on AA to 2 seconds base instead of 1.5 seconds.
#2: Gravedigger should receive a 35% increase in damage, and should recharge 100% of its cooldown instead of 80%
#3: Death Spiral should also receive a 35% increase in damage.
*#4: Nightfall should have a consistent size of 300 radii throughout. *

Also, Nightfall should be instant cast. We aren’t mesmers, we can’t blink, we can’t distort, we don’t have aegis; we need to be able to cast this skill while moving because we can’t afford to stay in one place.
