This actually brings up a side line question that I’ve had in the back of my mind for a while.

I have 2 GW2 accounts, one linked to my original GW1 account, and all my characters on that account rightly have a HoM stone.

Because the HoM stone (obviously, out of combat) allows one to transport themselves to the HoM, and then return to the exact place they travelled from, it’s a handy facility if you need to take a quick AFK in an unsafe area.

On that basis, is it permissible to buy a HoM stone for characters that do not have a GW1 linked account, to use for the purposes outlined above?

GW2 Needs More Farm Alternatives

However there will always be people that will find the most profitable thing to do in-game and announce it to the world and everyone will simply follow suit.

You’re absolutely right, but I find the issue at the moment is that there’s a huge disparity between doing X and doing Y.

This, in my opinion, is where the focus from ArenaNet needs to be. I am also not arguing for a nerf in any rewards to achieve consistency, this raises another point.

Players need to feel rewarded, and whilst I can speak only for the PvE game at this time, I would have to say that a lot of the time I head out “and just kill stuff”, whether that’s targetted farming for a particular material I need, or whether it’s just me zoning out and wandering/exlporing/killing, the number of enemies that drop no loot can become quite disheartening.

I think what needs to happen here is some testing – have folks go out doing a certain thing for a set period of time, and measure the reward. Then work to even out that reward between the many and varied activites or things that can be done.

It’ll never be perfect, nor does it have to be, but the disparity that exists at the moment is what is driving the groups who farm Champs or a particular Dungeon – not that I blame them in the least, people who need or want things in game will tend to gravitate toward the easiest way of obtaining them.

For me personally, the second poster in this thread summed up exactly what I’d like to see some discussion and work on.

@Tiger Ashante: Whilst I understand the frustrations you’re experiencing in game because of disconnects and crashes, with respect, I don’t think that’s ArenaNet’s issue – I would rather suspect something on your computer – and I say that because in the times I play, and relatively often at long stretches at a time, I have absolutely no crash/lock up/freeze/disconnect issue at all – and I say that playing from Australia myself. Your browser still running when you exit/get disconnected proves very little.

Who is your ISP, and have you set an endless ping to the game server whilst playing to see you’re not getting dropped packets along the way?

Race to disallow people to play another games

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Midnight.9205

I’ve seen many threads in the past talking about this sort of thing, and have always refrained from posting in them in the past – I don’t want to come across as having a whinge. I also have to say, and stress, I’m speaking personally, and I understand that others may not agree – that’s perfectly fine, your viewpoint is as valid as mine I believe.

With that out of the way, this is starting to feel like a second job. Please note, I said feel – as this is my personal feeling as time goes on in the game.

I don’t have all the mathematics and such forth to back up factual analysis here, and in any case, I’m basing this on feelings and impressions, rather than hard data analysis on those aspects where numbers and so on could come into play – please forgive me on that, but to me this is a game to be played for fun, not technical statistical analysis (but if that floats your boat, go for it!)

I originally wanted to play GW2 to get away from the “grind” in other games, and at first, the game was just that way – there was no grind involved. Doubtless, some of that was because the game was new, and unseen, which makes everything fresh. However, it seemed to get “old” quite quickly. In other games, it wasn’t an issue for me to have a half dozen or more characters at maximum level, and that would usually take me about a year, perhaps a little less. In GW2, I have 2, and a raft of others “stalled” along the way – maybe due to a lack of time (see below) in trying to keep up? Or maybe the content is already “been there, done that” (or intensely annoying – see Orr).

Of late, it seems every fortnight there’s a slew of content demanding attention, and because it’s all temporary, it puts “pressure” on to get it done. Part of the problem is that it’s temporary, and the other part of the problem is that it’s temporary – let me explain. The temporary nature puts “pressure” on to complete it, the temporary nature means that levelling the third character through Wayfarer’s Foothills goes through the “same old, same old” – nothing ever seems to change.

You need Laurels, so you go and do dailies and potentially monthlies. You save up Laurels to get stuff, and then hear “Craftable Ascended” is coming. Whilst I realise that the craftable ascended isn’t rings and accessories etc, you look back and wonder why you chased all those Laurels at the end of the day (the feeling I have is that rings etc will become craftable).

You have somewhat large material requirements for ascended and/or legendary (and yes, I do understand they’re completely optional, except to say they do have better stats, and these combined with upcoming ascended armor may not be so optional at the end of the day), so you go and try and farm some T6 materials – except they don’t drop that often, and then you’re dealing with diminishing returns.

I’ll be the first to recognise that this is still a relatively new MMO, and as a result, some level of experimentation will need to happen in regard to game direction, and systems within the game. That said, there seems to be a significant lack of direction at this point, leading players to invest time, effort and materials into pursuing directions that are later nullified by (in some cases) sweeping changes that are announced. To use the example I touch on above (Laurels), we have seen currencies in the game debased (WvW tokens being handed out with achievement chests, Karma is practically useless) to the point where one begins to wonder what the next fortnight of changes will entail, and whether effort put in one direction will “pay off” or come to naught.

The final note to make is in terms of in-game coin… and I realise this is again something subjective, but the feeling I seem to think some (including myself) have is of a permanent state of being poor. For many players, earning coin in the game takes a considerable amount of time and effort – however, it seems to me that across the various MMO’s I’ve played, here, one is “perma-poor”. Of course, currency measurement is all relative to cost, but the one thing that struck me most was the difference in coin a level 1 mob dropped compared to a level 80 – in many other games, the ratio is a much higher multiple from the level 80 vs level 1 than it appears to be in GW2, which has a negative impact on coin earned by most players.

This didn’t start out intending to be this long, I guess these “nagging feelings” have been sitting around for a while waiting for a chance to “sneak out”. I’m not trying to be negative, whiny or bash ANet here – but I know it may come across as such… that’s not the intention. Rather, I’m hoping this has been put at least mostly factually, without emotion, despite the intent being to describe my personal feelings toward the game at this point in time.

Thanks for the opportunity to put this post here, and thanks to anyone who has had a read.

Can I just say that whilst a number of threads on these forums come across and whiny & complaining (often about nothing major), this thread – at least in my opinion – is well put, well thought out, factually based, and has my full support.

I have played this game since release, with some minor week or so breaks along the way – and the one issue that seems to have persisted is the camera issues described in this post. In fact, as of today, this would be the one thing I would have to list as my most desired in game fix by far.

Surely, this won’t be quick or easy to solve, but it would be sincerely appreciated if some work in this regard could be undertaken!

Perhaps the solution here is to implement a mail “white list”, allowing players to list account names they’re willing to trust for any number of incoming mails? If there is some aspect to this that would allow untoward things to happen, perhaps even limit that list to 5 account names or something similar?

Fishing in particular is an activity that sometimes, after a brain-draining day at work can be very appealing – just to log in for a half hour, catch up and chat with guildies, and yet be doing something that is productive for your account insofar as providing materials for your chef to make into useful stat foods for your characters.

I happen to have two accounts – only for the reason of being a massive altoholic.

My main account has all my crafters on it, thus, I have no reason to keep crafting materials on the second account.

Due to messaging limits, it’s near impossible for me simply to send my own crafting materials to myself.

I do realise the limits are there to combat nefarious actions – could we perhaps get the ability to whitelist certain senders? This would allow me to whitelist myself, and other players reporting problems in this thread to whitelist their family/friends to allow more generous messaging limits.

I envisage this will work by the recipient entering an account name into a whitelist at their end – effectively saying “I trust this person, and am willing to accept any and all mail from them”.

In order to continue to combat nefarious uses, set it up so that 72 hours must pass before it takes effect, and limit the number of whitelisted players to 5 or 10 per account.

Cooking collection sorting

in Suggestions

Posted by: Midnight.9205

Midnight.9205

A thought just occurred to me today – looking in ones bank, the materials for crafting (wood, metal, cloth & leather) are sorted in reasonable order – that being the level of the materials involved.

Checking the blue crafting materials shows the same, with everything in a row, and Tier 6 materials in two columns on the right.

Looking at cooking materials – at least to my eye, doesn’t show the same level of logical organisation. Sure, things are mostly in an approximate order of “difficulty of use” (that is, required crafting profession level in order to use the item), but there isn’t the same level of organisation one finds in other areas.

I know now it is possible to craft directly from the bank, but there are possibly times where a chef will want to make a known item, with known ingredients, and this got me thinking that it might make sense to reorganise this section of the collections area along one of the following “rule sets”:

- Required level to use, then alphabetical (store items from 0 to 400 first, then all items of a set level are sorted alphabetically)
- Pure alphabetical (regardless of the required level to use, simply sort all items alphabetically).

I’m sure there are possibly even other ideas on how to sort things.

Thoughts and further discussion welcomed and encouraged

While nvidia has always had the rep of having better drivers than AMD, I feel that the roles are reversed now. I went from an 8800gt to a 7850, and where before gw2 would black screen and tf2 would error out a lot they both run flawless now.

I’m sorry, but I have to call this out – unless I’m mistaking the card you went from and the card you went to.

http://www.gpureview.com/show_cards.php?card1=544&card2=678

You’re saying “I changed my graphics card from an October 2007 released card to a card released in March 2012 – and as a result, I think nVidia have poorer drivers”? I think you’re comparing a propeller driven biplane with an FA-18 fighter jet!

Ummm… I’d expect a major improvement! I have my old GTX275 in a box of spare parts here, which I upgraded to a GTX570 a while back. In a box under that box is my old, twice replaced 8800GTX – I used that card in a machine made specifically to run Oblivion, some 5 years ago.

I don’t think you can make a quality-of-driver call based on cards from different manufacturers released 5 years apart!

Remove 'no loot' probability from mobs?

Midnight.9205

I see a lot of folk in these forums, specifically in the thread discussing drop rates, who are saying they don’t feel “rewarded” enough for killing mobs in PvE. I agree with these posters, and whilst I haven’t kept a record of how many mobs I’ve killed, and how many did or didn’t drop loot, I would say the number that didn’t is a reasonable percentage.

I know this topic is a different issue/debate to drop rates, but I wonder how much people’s perspectives would be changed if every mob they helped kill (that gave them XP, in other words), would be guaranteed to drop an item (grey through to exotic).

I do agree with this suggestion – it would make PvE mob killing more worthwhile than it is now, and might alleviate some of the impressions of this particular aspect of the game being “unrewarding”.

Concrete data (leaving aside any arguments about us not knowing we’d need to have taken data prior to 15th November).

I decided the other day that I would like to make a Berserker’s set of gear for a character.

Six of these items require 30 x Vial of Powerful Blood.

I went to Frostgorge Sound, in the very north of the zone is an ice shelf with some skelk on it.

Over several sessions, I spent nearly 8 hours there killing these skelk, and I obtained 21 x Vial of Powerful Blood. This equates to slightly more than 2.5 Vials every hour. If I wish to farm the rest, I would need to spend nearly another 4 hours just killing skelk, assuming my “luck” doesn’t change.

At that point, I gave up farming these items and obtained the remainder via alternate methods.

I think that 12 hours to farm enough materials for one component of an exotic set (I still need Gossamer, and Ectos, and spools of thread – the thread is simple, but I suspect the Gossamer and Ectos will take even longer to farm) is too much.

As I’ve said previously, I don’t think things should be that simple as to go out and be able to obtain the materials in a matter of minutes – but considering the game design should be “no grind”, the numbers above would indicate to me that there is a potential drop rate issue on some materials at least.

80 Ranger (has been 80 a good while), 448 hours played, 153 deaths = 0.3415 deaths per hour. No WvW on this toon.

Elementalist (fresh to 80 yesterday), 114 hours played, 47 deaths = 0.4122 deaths per hour. Some WvW on this toon at lower levels would have easily accounted for 50% of the deaths listed.

Costume makers

in Black Lion Trading Co

Posted by: Midnight.9205

Midnight.9205

I believe most costume items are account bound (with perhaps the exception of the armor skins such as Primeval).

Being account bound (eg Wintersday outfit), means you can trade them between your characters by depositing them in your shared bank.

If, however, you want two characters to use the same costume without having to transfer it over, then you will need to buy it twice.

There are no costume makers in Tyria any longer, so the “old method” of getting a costume on each character has changed to swapping it via your bank.

Here’s an interesting bug that’s driving my mining rate down a little.

Currently, in Frostgorge Sound, there are two Orichalcum nodes that have spawned, and I can see on my minimap.

Due to their location, one is further away from my character than the other. I can get to and mine the first one just fine, when I head toward the second one, it disappears from my minimap, and when I get to its location, all I see is a mined node.

This has been the case for over 24 hours, I’ve mined Node 1 successfully on both times I’ve gone to get it, and have never been able to mine Node 2.

Stephane Lo Presti,

Thank you for the reply. Anyway I think this subject is being treated in a very casual way and only after 1 month, 1210 posts and 40575 views we got some feedback. I would at least have apologized for the long silence about this subject.

I agree with you.

As I’ve written in the other thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Share-your-data-about-perceived-strange-drop-behavior-here/first#post1062965 this issue was originally raised in the AMA, on 26th November.

At that time, it was to be looked into “tomorrow” (aka. 27th November).

I am puzzled as to why these questions, the same as concerns raised by players at the AMA on 26th November, are being re-asked, and that with a 25 page thread full of impressions and information right here.

Yes, it’s a bit to wade through, yes, there may be a few not-so-useful posts here, but I have a suspicion that the number of players reporting information in this thread would give a reasonable enough impression to warrant the investigation that was promised to at least begin on 27th November.

I’m going to add my comments here – and I stress, they are only comments, as I have no hard data to back this up.

That said, I am finding considerably less rares than I used to, and my gear/magic find has not changed. It was a rare occasion, prior to the 15th November update for me to play for an evening and find NO rare items. Today, this is the rule, rather than the exception – I consider it to be unusual to find a rare item now.

Additionally to this, I use a hard-and-fast rule – salvage all white items, vendor the rest (or TP them). This directly feeds into the gathering of Gossamer and Leather (T6 crafting mats). Previous to the update, I would obtain a few pieces per night, and there was rarely a night where some were not gained. Again, this is now reversed, drops of T6 cloth and leather are outstanding exceptions to the rule.

I do understand that there must be a limit on the number of rares, and salvagable items a player can reasonably obtain in a playing session – it makes it so that not everything achievable in game (Exotic gear, etc) can be obtained instantly – and I support that wholeheartedly.

I will say though, that since the Nov 15 patch, the rate at which a player can obtain these things by just normally playing the game has turned from “reasonable” to “abysmal” in my view.

To be honest, I thought we were still awaiting a fix for this as per the AMA with Chris Whiteside: http://dulfy.net/2012/11/26/gw2-chris-whiteside-ama-on-reddit/

Q (49): Magic find and just drops in general (with or without MF gear) seems to have been greatly altered to a minimum. Also, in the most recent patch it was noted that Veterans/Champions should always drop something at least, irregardless of what quality. Is the system working as you intended since the update or are there most definitely problems with it as it stands? Also, if it is ‘working as planned’ why the huge change in drops? Coupled with diminishing rewards it is hard to farm legitly and almost points the player to the Cash Shop instead of relying on self-reliance. Thanks in advance!

A: So yep you are right this is the question i have been likely dodging the most? The reason being is that it requires investigation. Vet and Champs should give good loot and there are a number of reports on perceived decrease in the frequency of drops. I will be discussing this in depth with the Production and Design team tomorrow and we will hopefully have more info soon

I have been patiently waiting for the results of this investigation – and I will admit, I may have missed the answer to it, but to find this thread here, now, raising the very same question that was raised in the AMA nearly 4 weeks ago, suggesting that there is no problem (and completely failing to reference the original issue as raised in the AMA), causes me some level of concern that either I’ve missed some crucial information somewhere, or that this issue was forgotten about despite assurances it would be looked at.

If I’ve missed some investigation results somewhere, could someone please kindly direct me to them?

From my blog post:
“The Guild Wars 2 economy (and virtually every other economy in the same vein) is not designed to have any loop that involves creating value for no cost.”

With much respect sir, but this post leaves me somewhat confused, and considerably concerned.

Unless I am misreading, by this definition, if I obtain items in game from the Trading Post, and combine them together using my crafting skill, and relist that finished item on the Trading Post, it’s an exploit? Further, if the finished item is then salvaged, and the proceeds of the salvage are listed instead, this too is an exploit?

Please bear in mind when considering the above that prices of items are determined by the market, not by any single player or (presubably) ArenaNet?

I do understand, and respect the need to remove exploits from the game – please don’t misunderstand. I think there have been exploits that are pretty clear to any player (Karma weapons at 21 karma, instead of 21,000), and some might not be so clear (Items required to produce item X via crafting are cheaper than the finished product).

In the case of the Karma weapons, I think a player can clearly see there is an issue/problem, and would have knowledge they were taking advantage of a situation that was unintended.

In the case of crafting for profit, at the very worst, this is a failure of the marketplace to properly price goods (either ingredients are too cheap, or finished product is too expensive). In this situation, a player surely would not be expected to know that they are using an “exploit” to make a bit of coin from their crafting profession?

If crafting things by buying from the TP is considered an exploit, please tell me why the ability to buy materials usable in crafting, is available on the Trading Post?

Also, if this is considered an exploit, I think we (the players), in light of the above/post by John Smith will need a much better definition of what ArenaNet would consider an exploit – examples should be included so there is no confusion on this issue, as I, for one, would not consider crafting something and salvaging it to be an exploit.

He could have done his research on the item, and determined that given the state of the market, no one would actually buy it for 10g, instead listing it at 8g in order to actually sell the item.

Guys, you need to be aware that just because something is LISTED at a certain price does in no way indicate it’ll actually SELL at that price.

I hear what you’re saying, but on the other hand, there’s always someone out there with plenty of gold, who will simply go buy any listed item at the lowest selling price. Sure, it may be that there aren’t a lot of players like that, but there are some.

Listing the item for 8g, instead of (even say) 9g 99s is just like taking out your virtual coin bag and scattering coins to the wind.

I’m +1 on the original post, and agree.

No-one is forcing anyone to buy any pet from the gem store, and even if one wanted to do so, in-game gold can be exchanged for gems. Very generous IMO, considering there is no subscription for the game.

Many changes to the design of this event in terms of availability and repeatability has me in complete agreement that ArenaNet are listening, and accommodating feedback where possible – thank you guys for weeding out the good feedback amongst the storm of outcry on Lost Shores! Full disclosure – I was one who did post feedback, hopefully in a constructive way, and requesting changes to accommodate those who were unable to attend events that were extremely time limited, to see these changes implemented is very much appreciated!

I see many bug fixes, one directly helped me in the fixes to the Orr events that are now allowing servers to re-open Balthazar temples – from that I was able to obtain a nice set of level 80 gear for one of my characters, so, yes, bugs are getting fixed – I wish more folk realised how complex a game like this is and could understand that what appears to be a simple bug may in fact be very complex behind the scenes.

And having touched on that issue just above – yes, I am sure an incredible amount of hard work has, and continues to be poured into GW2… if I may say so, thank you for doing all that hard work, ArenaNet – it’s showing in the game, and I hope more players come to realise this as time goes on.

Consider that the ability to convert in game gold to gems is a matter of some generosity on the part of ArenaNet to allow a player to choose more than one method of obtaining gems, but understand that (reasonably so), the main method should be by purchasing gems for real-life currency, and you begin to realise that a bank slot today costs exactly the same as it did at game release.

The fact is that the in-game supply of gold has gone from zero on release to whatever it is now, and that as a result, there is a level of inflation involved with purchasing gems by in-game gold.

(On a side note, EvilExE, your signature is amusing when analysed carefully)

I’d also like to drop in here to specifically say “Thank you” for the design of this event!

Plenty of time to see everything, irrespective of which time zone one lives in, very much appreciated, and well done!

There is absolutely no indication that there is a tax on gems.

If you want to call it a “tax”, I won’t argue that with you – I’d refer to it more as a spread on buy/sell prices.

But, effectively, you’re really saying that you didn’t research your purchase, and are now upset about it? Because the information on buy/sell spread is right there, in the game, one mouse click away from the button you clicked to make your original purchase, so saying this information is not available is absolutley not true.

Just to say, hey, thanks for listening

Just recieved a Karka chest after not being ale to make it to the event due to living in New Zealand.

I don’t think that’s why you have a chest, truly.

Before you post in this thread, I’d appreciate if you read this original topic and continue past just the title. Thank you. <snip>

The one fact that you have completely missed in your deliberations is that you’re not thinking globally.

Presumably, Noon PST on a weekend is a time that allows you to participate in these types of events – I presume this because you did not mention otherwise in your post.

You paid the same amount of money for the game than everyone else did (differences between versions notwithstanding as that was your choice at time of purchase).

By holding one-time events (at ANY time of day), a portion of the paying customers will be unable to attend. So far, as paying customers, we have only seen one time slot for these one-time events, and it has excluded a significant portion of the paying client base simply due to the time zone in which they live – and it has been the same group that has consistently missed out.

Loot (grossly unbalancing or not) and chests aside – those paying clients missed out on content, things to see and do, and by holding these one-time events at the same time all the time, it leads to some people rightly getting upset that they’re not being treated as fairly as others, despite paying the same fees to ArenaNet for the pleasure of playing the game.

Surely you can see how this is unfair, and simply creates a rift in the community?

…The way GW2 was set up, people bought into the game because they were led to believe that they could reasonably do everything for free, but they find out after the fact (and after their $60) that the truth is they can’t…

I’d like to know what it is in the game that requires additional out-of-pocket real life cash to achieve please?

So far, I have found nothing in game that I have needed to pay dollars for.

Getting Gold for Lower Levels?

Also, are you completing your daily achievement every day you’re on? It doesn’t sound like much, but it’s a few silver each day.

How much are you spending on repairs? I mess around with my Ele from time to time, but I rarely have to repair anything (on the odd occasion I get unlucky on a pull, the armor is replaced before it breaks just from random drops I find) – so I have to ask, are you dying often? If so, why? Eliminating this cost could help you toward financial freedom

Can anyone help me get 3 hom points in gw1??

Here’s a guide that will help you toward that goal (I assume you’re looking for 6 points total, you will get 3 from just linking your account, hence you’re asking for 3 more): http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Guide_to_earning_Hall_of_Monuments_rewards

I didn’t play GW1 a lot, so I’m sure others can post here on some of the easier to obtain items, but they are all covered in that guide

Many kudos to you for coming up with this, and sharing it with us all – may your drops in future all be exotic

Funny that I come across this old thread today – because I found that chest today myself.

As noted, it was not interactable, but I wondered, should it be?

I will also echo those saying that drops in PvE high level areas (have not yet tested non high level areas) have made it not worth going.

I run a MF set, and use consumables, and am no stranger to heading out into PvE and just wandering around gathering and killing creatures for an hour or so.

The gathering of nodes seems to be normal, but last night (the first time in a while I did this in a high level area), the loot was hardly enough to cover the cost of a couple of waypoints.

I know the drop on rare items is RNG, but for the record, none were seen – which, whilst I have seen that before, doesn’t happen that often.

Issue with targeting

This bug is something I’ve been seeing (target one creature, yet attack another) for quite some time – I mention this to highlight the fact that it’s not a “new” bug as such.

That said, I have noticed is becoming more prevalent recently.

A response would be nice

To one particular issue amongst several issues that should be addressed following this weekend, yes.

It still leaves quite a number of other issues unaddressed (see my post earlier in this topic, amongst many other posts on these issues raised in this same thread by fellow posters).

My 2c worth on this.

First and foremost, I would say that a “knee-jerk” response from ArenaNet will be counter-productive.

They have many things to think about over this weekend – this isn’t an exhaustive list, but here are some:

(1) Confusing information about the fixes for the investigation chain that left some people unable to complete them.
(2) Lag issues on the events, and how that has affected players ability to obtain the rewards for participating.
(3) Disconnection issues per item 2
(4) Alienation of large numbers of customers that were unable to participate in the event, missing out on the basic rewards (a ring and 20 slot bag I believe?), and the shot at a precursor.
(5) Potentially unbalanced reward structure for people participating in the event

If you exapnd the above list by thinking logically through all the potential issues from all potential sides of the coin, it will necessarily involve a considerable amount of planning and thought as to how to deal with all the issues involved – and I wouldn’t expect anything quickly (in fact, I applaud the fact that they haven’t come back with an “answer” quickly).

What I do find puzzling is that ArenaNet have not, first thing Monday morning, come out with a statement effectively saying “We understand that there were sevaral issues affecting the Lost Shores content rollout. In order to properly, and fairly deal with these issues, we have been reading ALL player feedback, and our plan is to update you with further information by <insert timeframe here>”.

The fact that the above announcement hasn’t been made (barring the announcement about disconnection issues – which, sure, is important, but do not cover most issues), is concerning… I’d have thought something like this would have been top priority (a.k.a. make this after 1st coffee of the morning, then hit the discussion room in HQ).
