Feel free to check out Disarray on Anvil Rock… We are a pretty casual guild that doesn’t require anything from our members. We are focused on PvX, but mainly run explorer mode dungeons, Fractals and WvW. We have a few nights a week that we try to run WvW as a guild.

As for the server, we are fairly low population, so very little queues for WvW if any. Most players on the server are fairly competent, and although we don’t participate in the main alliance, there is one that you can join up with if you like to follow a zerg in WvW, however we hardly follow a zerg.

Disarray has around 70 – 75 players, with upwards to 30 or so members on any given night during peak hours. One thing that sets us a bit apart from other guilds is that we have guild ranks, based on the amount of time you are in the guild, so moving up in the guild is fairly easy. You don’t have to be a person that gives us all your gold or best items to move up in our guild.

One last thing…. If you all are interested at all, drop by our guild site and put in an app. I call it an app, but really it is just a little info that lets you get to know us, and us you. As long as you all are decent people you would be welcome! The site is http://www.disarrayguild.com.

I think thief play in WvW is a bit lackluster. I am a group player, and enjoy conditions, but seems that any time I am helping my guild assault a tower, I am stuck shooting a cluster bomb at the top of a tower, hoping it may hit someone. The sad part is, my character is built now for P/D and D/D, so I just carry a spare SB in my inventory for the one ability.

The shortbow is a weak weapon for the most part, and when you can only use one attack from all your weapon sets, for siege (tower offense) it gets a bit boring. It would be nice to have a ranged weapon set that could be helpful in WvW tower offense. I could see replacing my D/D portion of my weapon set up for SB or some other weapon be it that I could have a bit better tower offense/defense.

Hey Corey… not going to copy/paste a ton of info here for you, but thought I would give you a quick rundown of Disarray. If you are interested in switching servers, feel free to check us out on Anvil Rock. We are a PvX guild that mainly focuses on WvW and Dungeons. Sitting around roughly 70 members, we normally have at least 25 on during peak times, if not more. Wednesday and Friday are our scheduled (but not mandatory) nights for WvW, but can be found running it more often than not.

As for PvE, we can normally get about 3 groups of dungeons going when not participating fully in WvW.

Hey Cirth… hopefully Disarray won’t drop the ball….

We are located on the Anvil Rock Server, and can be found running either PvE Content or WvW. We don’t normally run with the zerg in WvW, but seem to be picking up some stragglers now due to having a commander of our own. Most of our players are pretty laid back (at least the ones that get in vent with us).

We are located throughout the US and Canada (hopefully Canadians are fine – though your post says US only), and most of our player base is on from early afternoon through late night.

As for PvE content, you can normally find at least one group or three for a few different levels of FotM (or Fractals – whatever you want to call it) as well as some explorable mode dungeons.

We don’t care what class you play as long as you have fun doing it. We normally make dungeons work no matter the team make-up.

I personally don’t run it, but from what I hear, PW was nerfed pretty hard, and no longer does any more damage than your Auto Attack.

Depending on your play style there are a few decent WvW builds out there, some using P/D + SB, D/D + SB or P/D + D/D (for mainly condition damage builds), as well as a few backstab builds out there (not as viable as it used to be, but still can be decent with the right abilities).

I personally run a D/D + SB Condition build, but would like to try out a slight variation of Scootabuser.4915’s P/D + D/D build (can be found Here.)

Scootabuser has a link to a youtube video as well as a link (inside the description of the video) to his build, with Rune and Sigil setup.

Pretty good watch; at least I enjoyed it.

Hope I am not too late, but I would like to toss a bit of info about Disarray your way.

We are a PvX guild located on the Anvil Rock Server, with about 60 – 70 players. We now have two nights a week that we focus mainly on WvW (which aren’t required, but normally have a few groups running), as well as a few nights a week that you can easily find people wanting to dungeon. We are all located between the US and Canada, and can be found online at all times throughout the day, with many members logging on during peak time.

If it helps, we just recently were able to fund a player to get a commander title (while he did most of the funding himself), to make grouping as a guild a bit easier in WvW.

As people we are all pretty laid back, not very hardcore, but fun loving individuals. We have a few Husband/Wife combos, BF/GF combos and a few brothers playing within the guild.

Wow… wonderful post….unfortunately, we aren’t on Divinity’s Reach Server.

If you are interested at all in moving to Anvil Rock, Disarray would be a great place for you (at least I believe it to be). We are a PvX guild, that you can find in WvW and PvE Content. We are currently working on getting a commander in guild (our commander fund is almost at the half way point), so you would not have to worry about leading.

In WvW, we normally don’t follow the zerg, as most of us believe in fighting for something then holding it. With the zerg, it is kind of like borrowing a toy, just to let the bully come and take it from you. I personally don’t like bullies… if you know what i mean!

As for PvE, we normally have at least one dungeon group a night, sometimes 2 -3. We have some players that are pretty vocal in guild chat, others that are vocal in vent, but normally if someone is in need of help, there is normally someone on that will be glad to help if they can.

Anyway, we are located throughout the US and Canada, and most of our playerbase is on during the evenings and weekends. We are sitting at roughly 50 – 60 members, so a decent sized group of individuals to enjoy this wonderful game with.

Not sure if you guys have found a home yet, but thought I would liven up your post a bit, and get you back to the first page…. I am not around much on the weekend (due to a second job), so at times I miss posts that happened.

- In WvW, we are normally not part of the Zerg. We pay attention to chat, but try to find strategic keeps to hold hours on end, building siege weapons to defend them against the mindless zergs that try to take them from us. We are all decent players that tend to stay in vent together for the most part while playing.

- Different Explorer Mode Dungeons are run almost nightly. Once in a group, people decide on what dungeon to run, and we get it done!

- Located throughout the US and Canada. Although most of our players are on during the evening, every time I log in (be it 6 AM in the morning or 6 PM in the evening) there are at least a few players online at that time.

If you are interested in staying on Anvil Rock, You can find Disarray running WvW about 3 times a week (sometimes more). They aren’t scheduled, with an exception of Friday Nights. As for what we do/who we are….

Disarray is a PvX guild that you can find in WvW and Explorer Mode Dungeons. No event we run is mandatory, but to increase the fun you have in this game I would encourage you to make it to any event that we have going on. I personally work every weekend, so I am not able to make it to the Friday Night WvW (unless it goes on late into the night, which it does sometimes).

As for GoM, we are currently giving them a run for their money in WvW. I know last night we were ahead. The only thing that they had that was stopping our group was a massive zerg. Disarray doesn’t normally follow a zerg around mindlessly. We are keen on taking strategic points and trying to upgrade and hold them as long as possible.

We are a PvX guild (you can find us mainly running Explorer Mode Dungeons and WvW) that is very laid back. No activity is required, but we all seem to have a better time playing in groups with others in the guild (the whole reason for having a guild, right?!?!).

About us:
– We all play within the US and Canada
– We have a guild rank system. Basically the longer you are in the guild the more access you have, the more say you have on influence spends etc.
– No activity is required. With that being said, the best way to get something started, if you want to run something, is to be active in the Ventrilo channel and guild chat.
– We use vent (as stated above). Most of the more active players are in vent a majority of their playtime. The best way to get to know people and have a good time with us is to hop in, join in on the conversations and flames of Lightarrow (you will get to know about him pretty quick in our guild!!!)

Thanks for the video…. I am currently running a condition build, and am in the process of crafting my exotics. I still tend to die fairly quick, but seeing how you spec and play (which is very similar to me) I can get an idea how “durable” and how well conditions will tick once I am finally geared.

Great video by the way, shows how deadly thieves can be, without a gimmicky backstab build.

Thought I would give you a little info about Disarray of Anvil Rock…

We are a bit over 50 people deep now, inching closer every day to 60… As for active players… well most of us are. We are a PvX guild, and spend most of our time either in Dungeons or WvW. We are looking to also start a small sPvP group soon too.

As for who we are:

Most of us are from the US or Canada… spread through the 4 major time zones there. a good majority of us are on during the evening, and when we run WvW/Dungeons we normally fill easily two groups. With that being said, we are currently working on a “Competent Commanders Compendium” (my own coined term – thought of it just now). I am not knocking any of the other commanders out there, but leading a zerg and leading a complete war machine are two completely different things.

Anyway, back to us…. we are fun loving “adults” most being in their 20’s and 30’s. We have a few family members in the guild (be it brothers, or Husband/Wife Combos) with many different lifestyles.

If you all are looking for a great place to hang out, get some WvW or Dungeons done, or just wanting to talk, we have a Ventrilo as well as a guild website that we try to keep pretty active.

I cannot guarantee all the Commanders on our server know what they are doing, but we still have a good time in Disarray. We don’t always follow the zerg, and we enjoy taking keeps and upgrading them to be able to withstand beatings for hours on end.

Disarray is located on Anvil Rock, and we are a PvX guild. We are working on our own commander fund, so that we can hopefully get a few more people to follow us (and our mindset) instead of the zerg. We actually find it more fun (and more beneficial) to take a keep (or supply or whatever) and then hold it, defending it to the last minute against the enemy.

We also run Explorer Mode Dungeons fairly regularly as well as Dynamic Events. We have a few players that are still in the process of finishing World Completion for the first and/or second time.

Just wondering if you are in one of the US time Zones?

If so, Disarray may be the place for you. We are a PvX guild that you can find doing PvE content as well as WvW. I actually just hit level 80 on my second toon, and was in Orr yesterday (and will be back there tonight before our Guild Dungeon event we are doing tonight), trying to finish one more area for world completion.

Most of our players are located in the US and Canada, and most of us play during the evening and on the weekend.

Disarray on Anvil Rock is a pretty laid back guild (where no group is required to attend), but we strive to do things within the guild whenever possible. We have around 50 members, some of which are new MMOers, others that are self renown “vets”. The core members of this guild started in another game together, and I have enjoyed my time with them since I joined them.

As for what we do:

1. You can find us running Explorer Mode Dungeons on an almost daily basis
2. WvW about the same pace. (We do have members with lesser machines that don’t always attend WvW due to lag and rendering issues)
3. Dynamic Events – Especially currently with the Mad King Stuff.

What Disarray has

1. Guild Website – We do have an application on our site. The application process isn’t for us to approve or deny you, just more of an “About Us”, and “Let us get to know you” type of form… I believe it took me about 5 minutes to fill it out. http://www.disarrayguild.com
2. Ventrilo Server – Normally most of our core members hop in vent when they get off work, and hang out until they are off for the night. We do ask that if your run an Explorer Mode Dungeon or WvW with us that you hop in vent… so that we don’t have to stop playing to type a strat or anything… plus I think playing a game with voice chat helps to make the game more personable!
3. Guild bank
4. Laid back Atmosphere
5. Guild Rank System – Instead of focusing on how much you do for us, we actually just have a time frame. If you are with the guild for 2 weeks you rise up in the ranks… after a month or two, you rise another rank…

Disarray may be a good place for you and your wife. We have a few couples in our guild already, and most of them prefer guild chat vs voice chat. We currently have around 50 players, most spread throughout the US and Canada. As for locations, we are picking up a small player base in the EST, but most of us are Central and Mountain.

Like you all, Disarray is a pretty laid back place to hang out. We normally try to run either WvW and/or Explorer mode dungeons every night that we have enough interested people on. Based on your age range, we are still a little young (I am 28, married, no kids), but most of our players are fairly mature adults.

We are PvX focused, and we even try not to make WvW when we run it so disorganized…. we are currently working on getting a commander book in the guild so that when we run WvW as a guild (which isn’t mandatory) we can do so in a more organized fashion.

We are located on the Anvil Rock Server and plan on being here for a good while. We are focused on PvX (which I guess means we aren’t really focused on anything). You can find us running WvW on a fairly consistent basis, even though Anvil Rock isn’t doing too great right now.

We also run Explorer Mode dungeons. First time I went in with these guys, I was going to go on my engineer (level 80 with some crap gear) but they told me to bring what I wanted… so I took in my low leveled Thief (now 73) and we rolled the place, and that was the first dungeon on my Thief I had ever run!

Anyway, this post is about you, not me… so I will continue.

Disarray is based out of North America (have players from Canada as well as the states) and we play mostly in the afternoons to late evenings, across all time zones. We normally don’t type a ton in guild chat, as we hop in Ventrilo (although typing is more common now that we have a few more members). We are sitting pretty happily at about 50 members, but can always use a few more, as we normally have anywhere from 10 – 20 people on during prime time.

Every Friday, we have an event for WvW, basically as a night out on the town so to speak, where recruits and officers can all hop into vent and try to work together as a guild to cause a little damage in WvW. If WvW isn’t your cup of tea, or you don’t feel like going, that’s fine… as no event run by the guild is required.

Just thought I would give you a little info about Disarray. We are a PvX guild with about 45 – 50 members located on the Anvil Rock Server (nowhere near full) that focuses mainly on WvW and Explorer Mode dungeons. I am also working on world completion on my second toon (never finished it on the first 80). We are mostly located in the US (and Canada), and spread throughout. Most play during the evening time.

We do mostly use Ventrilo, so if you can listen that should be good enough. We ask that you join us in vent during WvW and Explorer mode dungeons. Other than that, we don’t really have any major rules. Nothing is really required, we just want to have fun in a game, and make new friends.

So we aren’t the best in WvW, but Anvil Rock is a pretty awesome server. As far as the guild is concerned, if you guys are interested feel free to check us out at http://www.disarrayguild.com.

Just a little non cut and paste info about us:

• Most of our players are evening players from across the US and Canada (I personally am in Central Time)
• We are interested in taking in like minded individuals that want to be laid back, have a good time, but still get stuff done.
• Currently focused on PvX (basically DEs, Explorable Dungeons and WvW). We don’t have a set schedule for anything, and the best way to take part in anything we do is to hop in vent.
• We are about the same size as your guild in your prime time, but have about 15 players or so on in any given night, even more at times on the weekend.

The only “Requirement” (and I am saying that loosely, as we don’t actually require, just strongly suggest) is that if we are running a Dungeon or WvW that you hop in vent with us as we would rather not type out paragraphs in chat, and would rather talk via Vent instead.

As far as WvW, we are currently working on getting a commander in guild so that we can just create one larger group instead of 2 – 3 smaller ones. We are currently working on collecting the 100 gold as a guild so that we can

Just wondering what time zone you play in, as well as if you are interested in transferring servers for the right guild? Also, what times do you play.

Hey Bamf….

Just wondering what time zone you play in? I am guessing it is a North American time Zone due to being top 20 US in WoW.

Anyway, just thought I would post a little info for you to take a look at. If you are interested in a less hardcore playstyle, you may find you would like Disarray. We don’t require attendance at any function, as RL comes before the game, but most people find the game more fun by jumping right into some group content.

You can find [DiS] running DEs (Especially now with the new content), Explorer Dungeons as well as WvW. We normally have a small group of players (about 2 – 3 groups) every Friday for a WvW Guild Event (again, not required) that we try to get everyone interested to come out for a good time. We don’t yell at our players, unless they need it (joking).

We do a ton of stuff via Vent, as we would rather push one button and talk while playing instead of stopping to talk instead of playing.

I see that Sacrilous hasn’t posted yet, so I figured I would… we like to double team people at times on the forums!!!

Anyway, just thought I would offer some information about Disarray. We are located on the Anvil Rock Server, and all activities are optional. you can catch us running DEs, Explorer Dungeons or WvW (for just a few examples). Most of our players are spread across the US/Canada, and we mostly play in the evenings to early morning. We also use Vent for communication (for the most part) because we are normally too busy playing to type books in chat.

As for your question (and I hate the copy past application offers as well)… my favorite activity in game is probably Explorer Dungeons… outside the game…. that one is a bit more difficult. I would have to say trying new foods. My dream job would be going around to different countries, trying authentic foods (like Andrew Zimmern – Bizarre Foods on Travel Channel)…. Unfortunately I am stuck in a desk job and instead of working, trying to recruit for an awesome guild!

Currently we have about 40 – 45 people in the guild, with an average of about 15 – 20 people on a night. We are basically PvX, working as a guild towards getting a commander to make WvW a bit easier to field, as we run normally two groups (4 – 5 people per group) in WvW currently. We are also known to run an explorer mode dungeon or two a day as well.

As for play time, we all have players across the North American Time Zones, and most of our players are on in the evenings – early morning.

As for what we are looking for -

1. Like minded individuals who want to have fun playing a game
2. People who are active (but not required to participate in any event they don’t want to take part in)
3. We do ask that if you are in WvW or an Explorer Mode Dungeon that you hop in Ventrilo with us – as you said, we don’t stop playing to type very often.
4. And Last, we want players who will last.

We are a small – medium sized guild (had roughly 15 players on last night), and we normally have about two to three nights a week that we go into WvW. We are currently working on getting a bit of funds together to get a commander in the guild to make WvW a bit easier to do as a guild, instead of running a few smaller groups.
