But yes, I support the Town Clothes as Outfit stance. (Obviously.) If they wanted to put in loads of extra work to make town clothes mix-and-match, that’d be awesome, but I really doubt they will. Outfit with refurbished dye channels isn’t hard to ask for.

I’m not saying it didn’t. I was just clarifying since combining two entirely different suggestion threads leads to some confusion. xD

I’m all for town clothes tonics being outfits, as well! It’s seems kind of silly having made them into tonics in the first place.

I logged in just to say I’ve been thinking of suggesting the exact same thing. Having a “custom outfit” item would be amazing. You could swap gear and still retain the same look without having to go through the process of reskinning and redying. Yes please to custom outfits. <3

There is a level filter. Just click the gear icon next to the search field and you have a bunch of different options to search by, including a level range.

That’s exactly it. During the end of the first instance, she mentions going with Canach to the summit “incognito”.

The Digital Deluxe purchase in the BLTC is just an upgrade for your account. It’s impossible to purchase another copy of the game with in-game gold.

It will probably be at least ten hours before the update is live. It’s only 11pm on the 14th in Seattle atm.

The game is maintained by a company within the Pacific timezone. You can’t expect them to go out-of-their-way to be up and working at 5am to launch the new patch just because their in-game timers are set to GMT.

That’s referring to the Boss Blitz in the Crown Pavilion. I don’t believe there’s any list; you’ll just have to familiarize yourself with what they mean by asking.

I’d say start with Guardian since they’re the easiest to survive with and that’d make it a little easier learning the basic game mechanics. However, my favorite classes are Mesmer and Necromancer if you’d like to try something a bit more challenging.

http://us.gw2stuff.com/en has more reliable timers since there’s no chance for users to disrupt it. But there are certain servers that run Teq regularly. I’m not sure about the wurm.

I think the planned expansion for GW1 was called Utopia, but it got scrapped and parts of it were incorporated into EotN. There’s some really cool concept art from it that would be awesome to add to GW2.

You do realize the majority of the updates are already in the works and have been for months now? The last should be started soon now that the Wintersday patch is live. The teams have four months to work on the content. One of those teams should be just about done. There’s no logical way they can just scrap the rest of the Scarlet arc.

I’ve checked the sets using the chat codes from gw2db, and it’s kind of disappointing to see that all the armors of a type, though “crafted in the style of so-so”, are all the exact same. How can a set crafted in the style of a sylvari be the same as a set crafted in the style of a norn? Or charr? Don’t get me wrong, I adore the light armor on my sylvari (with the exception of that mask), but it’s still sad.

The chest at the end of the jumping puzzle in Iron Marches is glitched open on Sanctum of Rall. No, I have not run it within the last reset period. This is the second time it’s happened to me several months apart, so I don’t know if the devs know about it or not.

Map completion is only determined by hearts, waypoints, vistas, skill points, and points of interest. There’s some areas that don’t have any of those, so they’re easy to oversee. I had to check out the completed maps on the wiki to find out what I was missing. It’ll be named areas so they shouldn’t be overly hard to find.

It’s Rata Sum jail, and I’m having the same problem. The game must think that portal leads to below the city, where it was recently updated to throw all people who get down there in jail.

Same problem. Trading in game gold for gems gives (“error” : “invalid data”).

Changing servers is unnecessary now that guesting is in the game. Homeworlds are pretty much only for wvw now. He can choose to guest on your server, or vice versa, and you’re able to play together in open world.

Oh, I always report when I see them. The only time I saw them before was when they stood still in event spawn areas like Penitent and spammed attacks. Reported the same bot for like a week straight. xD

Gold sellers have a lvl 80 character lead while multiboxing low level characters to follow its actions and get hits for drops. So if you see a group of low level characters attacking things in frostgorge or something, it’s probably them.

I never really pay attention, honestly. I’ve seen a group of bots running around once. I’m usually off with guildies somewhere minding my own business. xD

White → Blue → Green → Yellow → Orange → Pink → Purple

Vendor any whites and blues. Buy yourself some master salvage kits for the yellows, and either vendor or forge the greens for more yellows. You could sell the yellows if you wish, but the ectoplasms from breaking them down are more profitable if you’re willing to take the risk~ Those powerful bloods you have are also a very expensive item.

Also, check your bank in Lions Arch or a crafting station. You may have more stuff you don’t even know about.

You were hacked by gold sellers. You might have some money on there, too. xD As far as I know, it’s not very common as most stolen accounts have been reported, blocked, and possibly recovered. You just skipped the first two steps.

It works since the dailies reset. Before hand, they didn’t.

I tried from downed, dead, and I killed the monster to make them rally. No change.

Maybe some clients are bugged locally and showing the wrong string for the achievement. Try doing the combo achievement that others have.

Tried that and didn’t get any progress whatsoever. I just went out with a guildie and had him die, get downed, and rally to see if any of them counted. Not at all.

They’re a gray trophy item meant as vendor fodder. Yes. Vendor it.

I’ve gotten five lodestones from it.

The evade message has popped up several times and still nothing.

I’ve got dodge and heal, too, and it’s not working for me either.

You guys do realize there is physically no way for ANet to release the update at the same local time for everyone? Instead what they’re doing is releasing it at the same global time for everyone, which means some of us get the patch “later” than others simply due to time difference and the fact that ANet is not based in Europe.

And if ANet launched the update during business hours in Europe, then the Americans would get the update at 4AM in the morning. SO it has nothing to do with customer’s convenience. Can’t please everyone, we live on a rotating globe.

I don’t understand why people feel like they’re being shafted. We’re all getting the update at the exact same time. Americans aren’t getting the patch before anyone else. Updates have always been in PST. When Anet posts times and they don’t meet the deadline or their EU players’ time surpasses the time stated for PST, they get unnecessary backlash from the community. Be patient, people. It’s not anything to lose sleep or stress over.

The cost to transfer was the plan from the start. The only reason it wasn’t implemented before was because the guesting feature wasn’t up and running yet. You’ll need gems to transfer, though, so you could spend gold to transfer if you really wanted to.

Plus, it’s been confirmed that transfers to less populated servers will be less costly than transfers to more populated servers, if that’s any consolation.

I have a question about the laurels:

If they’re not being awarded retroactively for past achievements, then should we be waiting until the 28th to finish January’s monthly? The way I’m understanding it, finishing the monthly now means no laurels, and finishing the monthly on the 28-31 means laurels, yes?

Can anyone clear this up?

Laurels will be available from monthlies starting in February. It would be unfair for those people that finished their monthlies before learning about the new system, so they aren’t rewarding any for January.
