What about you non-local connection? Run TRACERT.

Not all paths on the internet go thru the same routers….they can be setup incorrectly or go bad (and Anet can’t fix that).

Well, local was the wrong term. I meant to my ISP.

But ever since the last feature patch, it’s been that way.

It was nuts. We (SBI) ended up edging out just a few hundred points in the end. That week was stressful.

DR even had people logging out, and jumping in water, to prevent getting stomped. :P

I just logged on with the new patch. I started running around Dry Top killing things, but I noticed something. I swear Blurred Frenzy feels a lot slower now. Am I going crazy, or does anyone else feel the same thing?

You beat me to making a thread about it. I still can’t believe they haven’t given us these armor pieces. Now they do a story mission that’s full of NPC’s wearing them, in our faces.

But it’s cool, they’re still recycling content from GW1 for the gem store.

I’m glad I’m not the only one that finds them a bit.. uninspired. They just look like some of the existing meshes, with no detail, and some white noise coming from them.

I specifically made my Ranger to be lazy for the world event train, but I use support to help other people out. Spirit of Frost, Spotter, Blue Moa and Fernhound.

I use her a lot now, since she somehow gives me the best loot I’ve gotten on any character. She got me my first Teq hoard, and a Precursor.

They’re all so.. useful looking.

Reminds me of the gauntlet. As a Mesmer, it really made me mad that the bosses only went for my clones when I was in stealth. Otherwise, they somehow “knew” to go for me every time.

I experienced this for the first time just last night. I was running S/F on my Mesmer in AC, and I was kicked without warning because I “wasn’t stacking tight enough.”

Don’t feel too bad. I’ve opened more than a few chests each month, and I’ve been stuck at 5 scraps for a year now.

I really wish they would remove those underwater helmets and let us use the normal helmets instead. I’m really not willing to buy for example Travellers Runes to put them in my lvl 77 green underwarer breather since there is still nothing better in the game.

And yeah .. green 80s in Orr .. but with condition damage.

I’m going to have to recommend the Asus G-series. My wife’s G75 with just a 660m plays the game on medium-high at 30fps. The newer ones with 700m and 800m series GPUs I imagine play the game even better. Since they also have quad-core i7’s with HT, they even handle character heavy situations like WvW pretty well.

My take on it, is that it’s one way for making it up to the people who took the time and effort to acquire two of the same Legendary before the wardrobe was introduced. Before then, the only way to dual wield the same one was to MAKE/buy two of the same weapon.

If you want the title and/or points, maybe you should have to go through the same process they did.

I have a 680 (which is a 770, but with slower memory speeds), and a 3770K. I have everything maxed @1920x1080, and I only dip in FPS when a lot of stuff is going on, never below 30fps at that.

It’s your CPU.

I got two hoards within a week of each other. A good few months before that without one, and it’s been about 2 months of almost daily kills without another.

Just made my first Legendary this weekend, and had a Precursor drop last night.

I know it’s probably been said before, but I guess I’m feeling the effects now. I really wish there could be a trading system, for fairly obvious reasons. I had Dusk drop for me last night, but I just made Sunrise. I have no desire to make Twilight, or Eternity. Having a Trading system in game would easily allow people who have items that are similar in value to be traded between two people without having to drop ridiculous amounts of gold on TP fees.

“But gold sink!”

I know. However, why should we have to go through the hassle of paying to list the item, hoping it sells, taking the hit on the selling fee, then rebuilding enough gold to turn around and buy something that’s listed even cheaper than the item you’re selling?

Also, I know you can trade through in-game mail. But who could you even trust to do that?

I take back my last comment. 1,842 hours in, and Dusk dropped for me last night from the onscreen chest at Shatt.

1,800 hours in, bought my first Precursor over the weekend.

Yet, I had two Teq’s hoards drop for me within a week of each other.

Get your Gift of Mastery and your Gift of Fortune, THEN worry about a precursor.. Don’t make the third gift because, what if you get a Dawn instead of Dusk?

Well, don’t expect to get a precursor, just play the game and buy it if you don’t get it as a drop.

I’ve been really lazy lately. I normally run PTV gear with Speed runes. Normally equip Sword/Focus & GS, I’ll switch out weapons as necessary. 4/4/0/4/2. I’ll change everything, depending on the situation.

I always carry around a set of Zerker armor, Pistol, Staff, and an extra Sword.

My Mesmer got a nice change as well!

I forgot to state that I only want the sunrise/twilight skins tho lol.
I only rly use zerker weapons so i prob might just craft an ascended zerker GS and use the twilight/sunrise skin on it.
So yea, not having much need for the stat swapping.

You do realize that among the stats you can switch between, Berserker is one of them, at Ascended level?

There are some armor skins that you could only get through the PS. The chest piece in this picture is one of them. I actually started a Necro to go back through the PS just for it, but then the wardrobe came out and I already had it in my PvP locker.

So happy the wardrobe came out.

As far as the “get gud” comment goes, thanks. I’ll definitely put that under consideration.

I do love that the Orr maps are completely empty. I really do. Trying to finish up completion on my main, and I can’t grab the skill points/POI’s that pretty much require a party.

I’ve run into one person in the last two hours on the island.
