just buy the com tag already. even if u might say ull never use it now, u might think differently later, give it a shot
besides using com tag can be for many things like having second squads for people that didnt get into thye first squad or whatever.
So I just thought about Warbringer and how nice it would be if it would act as a light source similar to the Halloween backpiece from 2012. Considering the flames from it are far larger than any torch it would make sense. What do you guys think?

Holosmith
I found Holosmith to be increadibly fun. A mobile high damage e-spec. Just what I wanted.
However, some skills reduced this feeling of nimbleness. Specifically Sword #3. While others lacked meaningfullness like Sword #2 or Hard light Arena not giving allies boons.
Over all the creat damage made up for the icnreadible lack of survivability.
And all in all a muuuuuch more fun e-spec than Scrapper. imho
Here I’m gonna list things that I seem awkward with holosmith skills and traits.
Feel free to add your list.
Inconsistency
- Heat Therapy does not work with Medical Dispersion field
- photonic blasting module has a small delay after reaching maximum heat which is not stated in the tooltips
Fine tuning
- Sword 3 is not a leap finisher
- Photon Forge 5 is not a blast finisher
- hard light arena does not apply boons to allies ( i know its not supposed to, tho i feel it should)
It feels rly fun, yet clunky.
sword nr3 feels way too clunky at the start and landing.
Also the fact that prime light beam makes you stationary feels abit sad too.

i dunno man I dont feel like this is a problem. Mounting up and dismounting works so smoothly anyways.
I cna totally see where all of the people are coming from who wanted gliding to be something more than what we got. However, I don’t feel like thats necessary: The main aspect of wvw (in my eyes) is the fighting, caping cvomes second.But fighting is what makes wvw fun.
Gliding is a bonus, and had it been something more it might have affected that part. Maybe for the better, maybe for the worse. Anyways Im pretty fond of how fights turn out in wvw atm and as such Im increadibly fond of how the gliding turned out!
p.s Theres ofc no stopping anet from giving gliding some siege options like dropping air bombs and stuff. Which sounds pretty fun to me. :P
gliding is just another crutch for defenders
placing unreachable siege
prevents attackers from chasing and killing you
pulling players to their death and gliding away…its kittenty mechanic
I couldn’t find a single new place to deploy siege in a Keep or Tower that you couldn’t place it before the change.
Pro tip: It doesn’t have to be inside the tower or keep wink wink
You descend fast enough for any new siege places to be very farfetched. Besides many places you can reach are already restriced from using siege. Its not gonna be much of a problem.
So far this change has only been good!

WvW got so much mroe exciting, but not jsut that. I got way more fluid. Moving in and out of keeps, jumping off walls, jumping off cliffs or jumping into towers.I’m very satisfied with how it turned out.

Agreed. Makes defending and scouting a lot smoother. Response times are now kinda faster too. As soon as the ‘exploits’ of gliding into structures get eliminated, I would love to see gliding stay as a feature. And the gradual introduction of mounts too in future.

Watching the postshow yesterday where we got to see some details about the new expac was about as awesome as the announcement itself, but one thing that made me so happy was the fact that the new elite specs have in-game lore tied to them.
For example on WoodenPotato’s stream he showed one of the mesmers who had become a Mirage, Elite Awakened Trebuchet I believe her hame was(jkjk), and you could ask her stuff about being a Mirage. What it means. How you become one etc.
How cool is that?!?!? I think it’s so awesome. And from what I understood there are these things about all the new e-specs.

My headgear that I transmuted into Bloodstone Crown refuse to accept my new dye change. It doesnt change at all and the dyes in the panel changes back to the previous ones.

For those who have played over 4000h+ the numbers are WXP rank 457 (median), 896 (average). 99.5 % = the vast majority haven’t even reached mithril rank.
The number of diamond rank players is very small and I am sure most of them farmed quite a bit of EotM as well.
I wouldnt worry too much about it. And ranks prob wont be the only thing needed, especially with the new ticket thingys.

WvW is having issues with the damage creep.
Even tier3 doors and walls can’t prevent a determined group from standing in a safe-spot and using weapon skills to destroy a door.
This is a problem because THERE IS NO COUNTERPLAY.

Yeah there is… determined group to defend a tower is the counter to a determined group who wanna cap it
People like that are using guilds like a LFG, it makes the value of the guild worthless and for most part, contributing nothing to the guilds they are part of.
Most definitely not. Guilds who are looking to create and maintain strong communities will and have always filetered out memebrs who dont follow rep rules, are inactive or just seem to use the guild bonuses for their own interest.
Then who’s to say how a guild is supposed to be used apart from the one who created the guild in the first place? There are tons of guilds whose sole purpose is one specific piece of content and not to create a community.

A lot of people have asked for this. When it’s come up in other forum threads, some have questioned why anyone would want 6+ guilds (some seem perturbed at the very idea). I can’t see any harm to the existing guild structure and lots of potential benefit for those interested (and ANet). The only question is: how easy would it be to design, test, implement, and maintain?
I cant see any reason why any1 would dispise the idea. Especially if its gated behind gems or smth

How much faster do the out towers such as Quentin Lake and Durios get upgraded if your team doesn’t own Stonemist?
It seems to me the dolly would get back to the camp at the same time. If you own SM the dolly would teleport back to the camp, and if you don’t the dolly would run back.
So if you don’t take into account the fact that the dolly has to run through an area with alot of roamers, which one is the fastest?

My client has been downloading close to 4g now. I asked in game and they said the aptch was only 900ish mb. Any1 knows whats going on?
ive been playing regularly since last patch so i havent got any left overs from then.

SKilled play should be rewarded. If you get downed when you 3 vs 1 someone, you deserve to die completely and not be carried by downstate to save you.
If you’re unable to kill a player through down state after 5 years of the game beign out, then you dont deserve that kill. Simple as that. If you wanna play without downstate go play something else.

Well I think we should be able to dress up as dollys and transport supplies ourselves, saving dolly lives and be able to ambush players trying hit them by going “surprise kitten, I’m not a dolly!”.
i like that idea! u know what why not go all out and let engineers put their turrets on a dolly too!
sigil of resto/luck and stamina are great for zerging especially if ur a cheap kitten and dont care about the extra benifits of other sigils
energy isnt needed if u know how to position well in the first place

I love the idea! There are a few things that struck me tho
1. Balance
How would these jobbs/traits be balanced or regulated?
Because, what’s to stop everyone from takling the option thats most efficient and then sticking with it?
Would there be any rank restrictions?
- Maybe a set number of individuals per map who can trait each line?
- would they be tied to a squad / handed out by the commander like leuetenant is today?
2. what would happen with profession skill balance?
Would these jobbs be better off if they didnt affect player skills at all and more about structiors, scouting, sieges etc?
- maybe give a player the ability to place cannon blue prints or mortar blue prints that other players cannot get (like ur ideas too)
3. This would defo spice up the game type. good job!
