During a fight between Durios and Umberglade in eternal battle ground I just got thrown waaaay up in the air high above the trees and died form falling damage, I wastn quick enough to gt a print screeen but has any1 ever experienced this before?

You could take away everything and only have red icons fight – I will still be able to identify 95% of drivers in seconds because they are exactly that, drivers.
Few if any of them apply tactics to confuse the enemy. Its push and bomb, push and bomb, maybe a fake push and then back to push and bomb.
Agree with most of it, some commander however are using stealth very effectively, making it harder to snipe.
If I remember correctly, they stated that they “never intended non-crafting ways” as a method of acquiring ascended. .
So why we can buy it from raids?
theyve said they didnt want vendors such as the pvp one to be the most effiecient ways to aquire ascended gear. thats also why they made it harder to get it in pvp

Resistance definately doesn’t last 6 seconds from a Chill conversion. It’s a legacy skill fact from 2012 that doesn’t mean anything.
ur right tested it today, tooltip seems to be off, however i believe the six second thing was metn to be for the boons rather than incoming condis whenever it was up to date

Ive made a heal rev for wvw specifically for the luls and big numbers, but I wanted to know which runes and sigils are prefered for highest heal possible.
I assume monk is the best choice if theres nothing better?
When it comes to sigils obviousl transference, but which of life and benev. is the better one? I seem to get the highest heals out with life. Both on others and myself, not sure tho
Ye reading more about the gyros they don’t use any of your own stats, which is so dissapointing. Why though?
No idea :/ i wish both turrets and gyros used our stats or atleast increased stats, i think the gyros sit at like 4% crit chance and the turrets cant even crit
Although after a quick testing. The self destruct dmg might actually be lower than the tooltip says
it crits around 2,6k and not the 4-5 I that I would have expected.
the gyros have their own crit chance and id believe their own crit dmg multipl.
Is it intended that the REGEN for the Banner regen trait does NOT scale with healing power?

How in the world is speedboost a problem? The place doesnt even have mobs to put u in combat unless u hit them so switch to a skill or trait that gives you increased movement speed….

Read the psot again. Hes gonna waste the thieves stuns. Then use your brain tofigure out that the others can burst him. He doesnt have to die. People need to learn how to take control over the fight instead of whining

Once you reach 9999 u should get an ability to put a dot effect on a target that lasts through death and instantly kills the target.
The payer has to ressurect in that map and cannot log out.

There is one thing I don’t like about new specializations and I hope it will change in the future. Many of them seems to me like straight upgrades because they offer extra class skill with all benefits of core specialization. I would rather see replacement solutions or added F5 skill to core specializations to promote more diversity between builds.
It was actually a great idea to have many different elite specs combined with the core specs for build variety. However that kinda fades away when theres only 1 elite spec :P
THey fixed it in a very efficient way by reducing the rally number to 1 per killed enemy.
The only time resses are a problem is when your allies are too bad to keep sustained dps on those enemies who actually go down. In other words it’s a standarsd l2p issue
I started playing GW2 during beta, and even got GW1 for background story. I really enjoyed the game and its content up until Heart of Thorns. While I like some zones more than others, I was never a fan of the jungle, so my experience over the past year or so has been mediocre at best.
However, the point is that I wanted to say I think AN is doing a great job with the new zones, even though I feel the story chapters are a bit short. My favorite would have to be Bitterfrost as Ive always been a fan of the Shiverpeaks, and then Lake Doric. Least favorite being Ember Bay. That said, Bloodstone Fen is I think the most imaginative. (So glad I waited for LeyLine Gliding for this.) Being able to do the dailies and hearts in these zones on a daily basis is nice and keeps me busy.
There are always complain threads being made, so figured I would post one saying keep up the good work. (hoping for a dark themed legendary scepter in a later chapter)
Yes! I really like new zones too. Both thematically and mechanically – especially the flatness. Having played on HoTs vertical maps without some kind of variation is abit teadious!

Boon corruption (and condi to boon conversion too) is random, so there is no priority order.
Im pretty sure its not random.
Been searching around trying to find a list of the order in which boons are currpted to condis.

These upgraded skins were added with WvW reward tracks and have been untouched for a really long time.

think u get leather from centaurs wherever u kill them, it’s just that this happen to be an intended famr area that gives it this barbaric feeling, if thats what ur going at.
Lorewise I dont think anyone would dare going after centaurs for their hides or even think of it in the first place

THe elite specs are more adapted to the amount of ccs thats going around therefore it would be recomended to use elite specs. THat’s not to say you cant getit to work with the original specs – you just have to play smart

If you mean in the final LS instance, the pattern is to figure out the riddle and go to the item that matches it. Two moves and you’re into the final chamber. I had to think a bit on the first one (helped that it was essentially multiple choice, all the objects showed up with helpful yellow labels so I looked for one that fit the inside-outside thing) and on the second one had to remind myself who had asked the question and pick -his- most likely answer.
Yep thats what my guildie told metoo. What made me so confused was that when I picked sunflower ( i think) at some point it let me through anyways, which didnt make any sense to me

Glancing blows (caused by weakness) don’t crit, so there won’t be lower “crit dmg” because of weakness, just lower crit rate + less dmg on some non critical hits.
It was more likely caused by different amounts of dmg reduction (toughness, protection, traits …). The axe/shield warrior was probably running high toughness + RR, maybe even dmg reduction food.

But maybe he runs the trait that gives f1-skills 100% crit chance which lead him to believe it was a crit when ti wasnt

Weakness is a condition that decreases the rate of endurance regeneration and turns half of all hits into glancing blows (that deal 50% less damage). Stacks of weakness increase the duration of the condition. Only stacks up to 5 times. Weakness deals defiance bar damage at a rate of 20 per second.

So I´m running gs/ mace shield warrior ; armor/weapons ascended -> full marauder stats ; trinkets -> full berserker stats.
Yesterday I did up to 7k critical damage with the berserk gs f1. Today it was max. critical damage of 2.3 k. It is kinda weird since I thought that the critical damage should always be roughly the same. Any ideas why the damage fluctuates so much?
Depends on what you’re hitting. How much dmg reduction the enemies have.
Honestly if its gonna get nerfed just nerf it to spread like 3 condis.
I don’t know what you’re trying to do with this build. It’s all over the place.
If zerging is your goal and you’re trying to build a bruiser you would be much better off by switching to:
Protection Injection, and either power wrench with toolkit or reactive lenses.
I’d also swap massmomentum to rapid regen.
In this build you got no crit chance. Rather get marauders with druability runes than PTV.
Get sigil of energy. Dodging is way more efficient on a medium armoured class than armour is.

Well the whole point of targetting is to make people aware that target, may it be to focus it down or res it.
In higher skill lvl plays such as coordinated guild fights etc marks are frequently used to targt people for a coordinated burst. It’s just stupid that there is no “switch to marked enemy”- keybind yet.
Zerg fights will always be about aoe unless the commander makes all the 50 people leutenants so they can mark stuff too.
I would love to see a couple of new targetting keybinds for the squad markers
For example:
target nearest marked enemy
target next marked enemy
target nearest marked ally
target next marked ally
This would help out so much especially WvW fights, to allow for more coordination.
