If you time a dodge roll correctly the game wont make you auto jump, instead you will move forward around 300 units; however there was an animation glitch that made it so it looked like i walked forward. Didnt try anything else after.

I find it impressively disturbing that the folks in BS appear to be proud of the shenanigans they pulled (killing afk’ers, false starts, full stacks, etc.) by having the audacity to not only dismiss the agreed upon standard practices in arranged GVGs but also by fabricating the events that occurred that evening.

were you there? you seem to just take VS’ word for what they say. id like to clear up some things. in the first fight we did have stacks most of the prior gvgs we’ve had in or current tier both sides showed up with stacks. i think this has more to do with miscommunication; Pancakez thought we were going by a set of rules from whatever guilds he watched/played against . however many big guilds also gvg with stacks ie. emp v choo: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvaE6dwZpQo, or emp vs tsym: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n43H28yWnkI, or sf v agg: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jE4TVTQyqoc [mostly agg with stacks]
in fact agg transferred to et for a while and i guess when we searched them up we thought it was common practise to stack to fight.
either way all of you charged full force and attacked without backing out. so we thought it was acknowleged that stacks were allowed.

during the interim before the second fight. we agreed to unstack. one of your guildies decided to stomp one of ours. that guildie happened to be a new recruit [not new to wvw] so of course all of us got mad. it even made me and a couple of the remaining of us unsure whether or not to unstack. eventually everyone unstacked and the fight began the same way as the other did. both parties buffed and started to charge each other the fight started without hestitation from either side. however we were still mad and decided at the end the fight by wiping the spectators as well.

i agree with omega arts that both of us were in the wrong. VS for killing while destacking and BS for killing spectators and for killing those that returned. the stacking issue is more of a communication problem and both sides assumed things. to address us not finishing the match set, a lot of us were kitten ed and did not feel it was worth it to continue. even lil homie got mad as apparent in the screenshot from pancakez. small group is obviously not your strength but you did decent. still i find that if it was an even 20v 20 the stacks would have been a huge issue, however we only fielded 16 tonight.

tl;dr – dont take everything someone from VS or BS says. watch the videos when theyre uploaded and judge for yourself since both groups did wrong. i am probably omitting some things, its late, im biased towards my guild, but id just like to clear some stuff up before more drama or some type of blame game happens.

ps. of course good fights tonight got 2 fights in was just an ugly ending. and pancakez dont hate on my bunker. also another note lil homie isnt our guild leader.

yes it does stack. tested with a friend in wvw and in pvp. havent tested if it applies specifically to knockdowns and stuns or if dazes, fears, knockbacks or launches also trigger it

fight lasts from 0:06 – 0:32. depends on how you count it you could add an extra second (if you count it from when the health bar starts to move or from when i start to use my skills). i am currently using runes of the eagle, however i would do a lot better if i had runes of the scholar. i also messed up the goggles and the grenade barrage in the beginning so that might shave a couple more seconds off. compared to SD builds this has much lower burst but more sustain.

this pve build is a standard vuln stacking grenade build. 3/1/0/0/3. this build is useable in dungeons and fractals however you will need to switch out the utilities depending on the situation. ie tool kit for the block when skipping mobs or elixir gun so that you can disengage in the ascalonian fractal without loss of dps or elixir r for the rez field. another note is that bomb kit auto does more dps than nades. zerker engi has been nerfed a lot since release this build had more burst potential when kit refinement gave an extra grenade barrage and nades had the pve -30% dmg reduction.

tl;dr 26 second giant kill
3/1/0/0/3 – rifle/grenade kit/utility goggles/elixir u
explosives- incin powder/shrapnel. explosive powder and grenadier
firearms- precise sights
tools- speedy gadgets and scope. the last trait is flexible; you can opt for adrenal implant or speedy kits or power wrench for skipping mobs

yea its been around forever, same with jump shot cancel except as they fix jump shot theres no real need to cancel it. altho i miss the extra distance that we could gain from it :<

what really got me mad is no one really mentioned how elixir s was 4 secs of invuln (without utils) back in the day but then got nerfed to 3 seconds, however allowed for utils to be used. and now it is just 3 seconds of invulnerability without utils. fair enough they wanted to test out something, but at least revert back to the original

flamethrower was actually decent before the newest patch. if you swapped to med kit during the 2 second channel you could proc the kit refinement activation twice, and swap back to flamethrower in time for the second autoattack. this could boost the dmg from 3k to 4k which would make it slight below par to the rifle auto attack [4k every 2 seconds + burn vs 4k ever 1.5 seconds]

Not true, google. Look at it more closely. Only Elixier gun, grenade kit and flamethrower trigger the internal cooldown.
So the patch notes are a lie! :o

from what ive noticed in differences between blowout and push/knockback is that blowout disables you slightly longer. to break those stuns you cant just mash your stun break, you have to wait until you are done flopping and are on your back and then stun break. if you stun break at the beginning youve wasted it. this is very noticeable in the ice elemental mini boss in the svanir fractal

All this change means is that if you don’t have an exotic your damage will be nerfed.

…no. kits never got the stats from your weapons. so even if you only have a yellow itll still be old kit dmg + yellow weapon stats vs old kit dmg plus nothing

I doubt they gave every Engineer +179 power etc without playing with kit base damage.

I suspect that with a berserker stat type weapon, you’ll do the same damage as before.

Call me cynical, but they’ve screwed us too many times before like this.

well even if that is the case you do still get a slight dps boost [if going zerker] because of the precision and crit dmg that you get with the kit on.

if you switch from rifle to grenade kit mid jumpshot your entire grenade barrage will hit with no spread. not sure how practical this is compared to walking into their character model and switching kits

35) Swapping to Grenade Kit with Kit Refinement while inside of an enemy (via a dodge or by not having Melee Assist on) will cause all the grenades to detonate immediately instead of spreading out and mostly being useless.

if you use jump shot and swap to grenade kit during animation your entire grenade barrage hits where you land. if used with a stun/immobilize thats a free 3-5k burst depending on build.

40) you can switch to med kit while in flamethrower auto attack to stack the swiftness/vigor/anything else that activates on wep swap, kit swap or on heal use. and then swap back to the flamethrower in time for the next autoattakc

b) Ettiquette -You WILL find other people here from other lands. It is your choice to attack or not attack them. I usually do not, but there are those that like to camp in there and fight anyone that goes in. It is there right to do so. If a player kills you for being in there, do not be upset. It is STILL a PvP zone. Just avoid that puzzle till later and move on.

e) Traps – If you want to mess with players, you can actually find a few traps a long the way and activate them as they go through the puzzle. Beware other people may be activating them to slow you down. It is their right to do it, so do not be upset if they kill you.

sidenote: also i noticed some food seems like it would have good synergy with this build.
a couple that stood out

orrian truffle and meat stew [+40% dodge refill rate and gain might when you dodge]

mango pie [+70 vitality and extra regen ~90 per second]

plate of lemon grass poultry [gain vit equal to 6% of your toughness and +200 power when health is under 50%]

rune of altruism + trait 10 down explosives + sigil of battle = easiest might stacking WITHOUT using elixirs.

the trait lasts 15 secs on a 10 second cd, the sigil lasts 20 secs on a 10 second cd and the rune lasts 10 sec on a 10 second cd… so you would need + boon duration to get 18 stacks, so its possible to get at between 9-15 stacks every 10 seconds with med kit. first use of medkit would result in 9 stacks. after 10 seconds you get 15 stacks (or 18 if you have +boon duration) for the next 5 seconds. then the trait will drop its first 3 stacks and youll be down to 12 stacks. then repeat to continuously get from 12 to 18. you wont drop below 12 due to sigil of battle lasting 20 seconds unlike the other two sources.

so if this is combined with with HGH or flame thrower you can get to 25 easier with an infinite duration of 9 stacks of might [ HGH moreso than flamethower]

and if they do fix the heal thing to not be whatevers in skillbar 6 our lowest cd heal is 14 seconds [traited], so not much of a nerf

sigil of energy might be useful to all bunker kit engis for the evade every 10 seconds

sidenote: use different types of sigils together. dont remember the specifics but some dont work together like 2 on kill gain x sigils [forget what is the deal with on crit sigils]
ie a passive (+5%dmg or +5% crit) sigil with an on crit gain x sigil
or on kill gain x sigil with a on weapon swap gain x sigil

choose scout, wait for countdown, jump off in a way that you wont faceplant [onto the fence thing], use 5 (swiftness + invisible). run to the speed upgrade. use invisble again after it wears off. by then you should have been first to the present then run the kitten back.
wash. rinse. repeat

edit:also if your at low hp and youre running with someone else covering you, press ~ to let him pick it up. and if youre alone you can put it down and go invisible and continue running

i used to run it alot when i wvw, but from what i noticed the trigger is buggy. might be a problem with other traits that trigger at 25% health because it seems they have priority. so at 25% my elixir s and mines would trigger but to trigger inertial converter i would need to get hit an additional time to trigger it.
the only time i really noticed it being able to recharge reliably was when i 1v1ed a guard and was able to use the med kit heal multiple times

wait lemme get this straight, this is the second time they changed grenade skills and they still havent fixed the underwater grenade range with grenadier? :/ well at least elixir gun got the range fix.
