Tempest Defense is already strong (it’s a massive steroid with a player-ambiguous condition). I think the way it encourages players to work with each other is a positive design element.

That forces us to run with warriors, no other class is forces you to damage while waiting for another class to set you up.

I’m not asking for the trait to be changed, im asking for ranged stuns so we can proc the damge.

So i was looking at the updated patch notes (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/balance/Feature-Build-Balance-Preview/page/16#post3667926) and i saw the proposed addition of a red circle to meteor shower. I main Elementalist, the skill ceiling for this class is very hgh right now, but for real… A red circle on meteor shower… you must be trying to kill Ele… I’d like this forum post to be a “petition” against the proposed change, throw your backing behind it if you care about your local staff Elementalist.

The devs have done nothing but buff warrior and theif since launch, while nefed ele every single patch.

Tempest defense – We have hardly nothing to set up range brust useing this, Add stuns a stun to skill two on staff and make it instant! This would allow stun combo damage.
Same with scepter add a stun to skill two.

Other classes have lots of hide, fear, hp bar swap Ele has nothing!

Give us a passive when we take 10% of damage in single hit we mist form for 1 second? give is a 20 second cd. (this fixes the stun lock kitten from sins)

Give us a passive what allows us to block or mist form when casting. This is would even out the sitting duck effect causes by these skills and allow us to damage classes what are trying to burst us down from hide. No it would not be up, what is op is pistole whip.

Every class in the game can go full berker, while been carried by their traits and ulity. But not ele, why?

Sin pretty much Eva and perma hide every time they attack while doing insane numbers, Pistole whip, back stab.

Mesmers can hide, do lots of clones to confuse people

Necro has 3 hp bars fears

Guardian lots and lots of blocks on call

Warrior is just warrior

But ele, we have nothing, Why cant we have more ranged stuns, fast casting cc, Mist-form or block while channeling.

No point the devs have their hands over thier ears =/ we been posting daily for months about conditions all you get is 10 posts a day moved/deleted and you get yourself banned. i cant even make new topics anymore due to been banned from it, the devs all play condition builds we need to get used to it or move game when it comes out in a few.

I joined SPVP after months, i had fun for 2 matches. Then Perma eva sin, nope cant hit at all, Conidtion warrior Damge ticking 4k a tick o.O and its ranged!. Goes to another point eng just KDing me all over spilting relatenless conidtions. LOGS offf gw2 goes to play another balanced game.

With glory going no more lvling while spvping?

Just put anything anywhere and win, its warrior. Make sure you take healing sig.

ALL of us play PvP. Though, I’ll give you that I’m no where near as good as Powerr, Grouch, Roy, Hugh, and Tyler. I’m pretty sure they’ve all made it to the top 100.

Every time i log into the game, devs are hot fixing ele skills to Nerf them.

How on earth is meteor shower broken? are conditions not? are hides not?

I just feel like im getting booted in the face over and over by the people behind the scenes, PVP lost its funness when everyone started to run around GOD mode! HIDE CONIDTION HIDE CONIDTION. Nothing gets fixed for months, ele no red dot. massive panic must change now.

Don’t get me started on SPVP, gw2 twitter links me to SPVP tornements only sins and warrior fighting. they push so hard for ESPORTS. Wanna know how to make it ESPORTS? FIX GAME!

The is plenty of collaborative feed back in the Balance thread, Any single person who plays the games, reads the fourms knows the major issues are.

Perma hide – Sins, Mesmers

Perma Eva – Sins

Conidtions builds/damge. mainly the fact people running these builds have massive defense, hp and utility like Perma hide or massive control like engi. (dire gear to blame here, with plex runes)

Warrior – best mobility, best healing, best defense, best hp, best damage, best at everything. They can leave combat when ever they want, cannot be root’ed or slowed due to passives.

Ele- laughable the amount of work needed from a player to make it “playable” even so you can be and will be killed by people who are not so good at a class.

ranger – just bad in general.

HAHA, ill probably get suspended again for this, but really Allie Murdock? 100’s of legit game breaking builds, skills and yet you come back to ele.

You have yet to comment on the broken skills and traits in game, like conditions, hides, perma eva sins. But first time someone brings something up about the weakest profession in game you jump all over it and send it off to the balance team?

Its a real shame in the past week, i made topics on the broken stuff in the game, i got forum suspended for it.

Iv been getting black screens for about a month, only when i tabbed out of the game and browse the Internet using opera. I get a black screen maybe once a week.

retaliation kills pretty much everyone doing aoe’s in one shot. This makes stacking groups so op. Please make retaliation only effect you once every X (like 0.5 seconds) You should not just cast a aoe and die from it.

Could we remove perplexity rune and Dire set please? This is the cause of half the issues regarding balance in WVW. one main reason why people running solo is a ghost town.

This map has been made for the op condition classes, necro, eng and mesmer. Its bad, its imblanced, conidtion damge needs to be sorted.

I agree with you 100% about not having conditions be a direct source of damage.

BUT

If you’re going to say that toughness is an aspect of what “direct damage uses” (I’m assuming you mean as a way to mitigate the direct damage) the it’s only fair to say that vitality is a stat that “condition damage uses” as you have more HP for the condis to eat through.

Not that it really matters how much vitality you have with the sheer amount of conditions that can be applied via some autoattacks.

I think the main issue with conditions is that there aren’t enough cleanses to keep up with the frequency and ease that they are applied to you by condition specs.

Vit also effects damge….. But it does not alter the damge values.

What build is this kitten y engy one i see, where people are just throwing nades at me non stop hitting me with insane numbers and conditions? I cant even cleanses as fast as they are stacking :S When i do, do a damage rotation their hp bars don’t even move.

They are running rampant, its getting old a tiresom fighting someone with 3k+ armor 25k+ hp while dealing insane brust spikes with conidtions. You’r trying to nerf berker? look at conidtion damge frist, remove dire set.

Why is this getting hotfixed? when thier are 100’s of broken skills in the game what have been waiting a good part of a year for fixing. :S

What is you implemented an upgrade to camps, what allowed something similar, Maybe like a airship drop off?

Allow cannons to shoot it down.
Allow people to bail out but take falling damage.
Make them alittle bit faster than running to the point.

lvl 30 takes what, 2 days at most :S
