Boss mechanics – i prefer to be in range, safer this way from boss mechanics.

Yes, no cleave on ranged skill (except, maybe guard scepter), that why it better to melee in bosses that spawn adds, which eliminate the danger faster, and in some cases, rally fallen allies.
No, you cant break cc bar with just longbow 4/5 alone, its group effort, the others in melee are also(or should be) contributing. Also you should, use your entangle, great cc skill, in melee range.
Some boss mechanics wont allow to be too far away, and some will. Again, its about adapting to the group needs.

We do not speak these out of spite, but experience. Leading stray pugs in group content can be very frustating once each individual think their own confort zone is more important than the group.
These advices are not imposed manners, they are logical conclusions of many iterations.
Lead your own group that will be the best teacher.

When in a group, please consider helping the group rather than be a detraction.
That means doing what the group needs not what you think is right.

But heres the deal:
FOTM just matters in Spvp/WvW, for the nature of competitiviness, aka “that guy totally killed me because his class is op”. That does not make much sense in the cooperative nature of pve, add a plus that gw2 PVE can be completed in any class as long u master the mechanics.
That said… a good chrono is surely very apreciated in RAIDS, since very few players have the patience/competence to master this class.

ive been puggin raids and i rarely see pugs failing dps, bu they do fail the eaziest mechanics, like green cricles in vg, because they worry to much with dps meters and kitten. get the mechanics first then improve on the dps.

challenge hard-mode: make a druid looks like a druid. pls

- Fill all character slots with a diferent class (mind only race and name, looks can be changed later almost free).
- Login everyday for login rewards.
- Do spvp/wvw dailies (there are daily spvp servers just for that right after reset).
- get tomes of knowledge to lvlup.
- play anyclass you want*

*mind mesmer, which is dificult to grasp but is great a soloing bosses.

got a 2nd account with less than a year old and already got 3 lvl 80s barelly setting foot on the world.

I was in the same boat. Just do the easy wvw dailies (kill vet, capture vet, take ruins) and you will get your gift of battle before any other grind. kitten owner of nevermore.

2) For a warrior, gs 3 has an evade

70 character slots. A character slots cost 800 gems which will be like 160 gold. I´ve bought mine mostly from discounts seasons.
