This is about the Celestial stat ascended rings, “Solaria, Circle of the Sun” & “Lunaria, Circle of the Moon”. It has become apparent to me that the “(Infused)” versions of these rings have a 2 point reduction among all stats. Is this intended? Because it doesn’t seem logical nor worth it for the additional agony infusion slot. Also, this doesn’t effect any of the other rings stats.

Is it still going to be soulbound in the new patch?
Your equipment now consists of 2 parts:
1) Core. Rarity, stats, upgrades
2) Appearance
The second part isn’t linked to the first. If your item have ascended rarity it will be account bound – it doesn’t matter how your item looksBut when it goes acc bound what if you have transmuted your ascended armor with cultural armor? Does it still not matter?
If a character wears cultural armor not of their race it makes them naked.
Is it still going to be soulbound in the new patch?
I’m guessing it’s intended so people are not yet capable of getting the next tier rewards.
Actually, 41-50 is a tier itself, 51-60 is the next tier.
You don’t get a chest from doing a level 50 fractal (or from what I’ve been told),

Does anyone know the rough date of when the next release for this comes out? I really loved both of the releases and can’t wait for the next one.
In the recent patch the tiers for fractals have been updated to go by:
11-20, 21-30, 31-40, 41-50 maximum.
The LFG tools tiers still go by the old tier groups, if you wouldn’t mind changing them to suit the updated tiers, that would clear up a lot of confusion for all the lazy people who don’t read the patch notes.
It means it scales 35% better with the stat “healing power”…
hint: No thief build uses Healing power (except 30 SA +300 but they dont trait that high into acro so useless)
Well, time to theory build I suppose.
Stated in the patch preview and on the patch notes.
“Acrobatics X – Assassins Reward. Increased healing scaling by 35%. Moved to Grandmaster Tier.”
It’s still the same amount of healing, it’s just been moved up a tier… What?
I really like the trait Practiced Tolerance and I know it’s getting buffed, but the precision I get from Signet of Agility doesn’t boost my health when the passive is active, is this a bug or is it intentional?
Edit: Also checked the Superior Sigil of Perception stack doesn’t boost health either.

Oh really? why, because it doesn’t fit in line with what you want to happen?
You want to always hit someone with your skill 4, think skill 5 isn’t player skill based, and you believe that skill 3 doesn’t belong.
If anything, your reasons aren’t valid to even consider changing anything.
Please name one request I’ve made.
I’ve only pointed out things, never requested anything, I hate how people like you comment on something and have no idea what you’re talking about.
I said, it’s possible to actually dodge the dancing dagger, not “always hit someone”
saying “don’t miss” is not what I meant when I said you can “debate”
And making up a poor excuse for death blossom(to try and make me look bad or something) just shows that you don’t know how to use a thief.

That’s an entire rune set though. It’s a very useful utility which is why there are threads on threads about why Mesmer and Guardians should have their own 25% Signet speed boost. If it wasn’t an important utility nobody would be asking for it on their class
But that would be a spare utility slot could have roll for initiative or blinding powder in it (that’s going to need using in the upcoming patch)
Dancing Dagger (#4 dagger skill): You cant expect to hit someone running away all the time, then this skill would be TOO good.
Cloak & Dagger (#5 dagger skill): Don’t Miss!!
Death Blossom (#3 dagger/dagger skill): Very useful in D/D for evasion and getting behind your target for the important damage from behind or flanking trait.

Dancing Dagger (#4 dagger skill): No, this is what the dodge was meant for avoiding these attacks.
Cloak & Dagger (#5 dagger skill): Don’t make stupid arguments.
Death Blossom (#3 dagger/dagger skill): People will turn around the moment you use it on them, unless they’re running away, this skill moves very slowly.

The Signet Passive is already more than enough to not feel like it’s a waste of a utility slot. Combine the Signet activation with the trait that gives 5 might on activation and then it will be worth it.
I would agree with you if they didn’t add a 25% speed bonus to the 6th effect of Traveler runes.
Signet of Shadows isn’t rubbish, it’s perfect for stomping everybody but Thieves and Mesmers. “Sacrificing” it is worth it.
I dunno about that, I use Cloaked in Shadows trait when using offhand dagger, or just the black powder skill on offhand pistol when I stomp, If mesmer or thief try to teleport away I use my steal or infiltrators signet.
This post is focused on the THIEF class.
Here are some of my personal problems I’d like to see fixed. (Remember, these are my opinions)
Dancing Dagger (#4 dagger skill): This skill is terrible for a moving target when using dagger/dagger, when I try to use it on a fleeing enemy, they strafe right out of it’s path, waste of initiative(which will be more precious in the upcoming patch).
Cloak & Dagger (#5 dagger skill): The amount of initiative this uses is insane, missing it can basically ruin your chance of surviving or winning(This is very easily nullify with blind, evade and block. Again, initiative is going to be precious.)
Death Blossom (#3 dagger/dagger skill): all the other dagger/dagger skills are used for burst (apart from Dancing Dagger which is meant for chasing), death blossom’s bleed doesn’t belong there.
Patience (Trait #9 in Shadow Arts): No one uses this, everyone uses Infusion of Shadow (Trait #5 in Shadow Arts) for much immediate and better initiative gain, something else needs to be done with this.
Signet of Shadows (Utility Skill): The activation effect is rubbish, the only thing this is used for is the passive, sacrificing it is not worth it.
Signet of Agility (Utility Skill): This being a stun breaker would make sense (or so the name would suggest.)
Horrible Weapon combinations: Pistol/Pistol, Sword/Pistol, Dagger/Pistol(is going to be), Both underwater weapons.
That’s all I can think of for now, feel free to support, debate, and/or state your own personal problems with thief’s skills, traits and utilities.
There’s 3 things I’m going to try to get karma from, if there’s any other better ways of getting it, please say!

The answer is that I think it would. I think I know how the transmuatation process works and also how the splitter works. So IF my analysis is right it should be ok. Having said that I would highly recommend to not try it!! I think I know, but I’m not sure. If you want to dedicate your hard work to science please do so. But make sure you tape it all and publish every step here so all future generations know its ok. If you don’t want to take the risk then dont take it.
I think instead of an individual taking such a risk, ArenaNet should inform us about the transmutation splitter properly, if anything it will just promote it’s marketing and use.
If I were to get Quip’s precursor, the Chaos Gun for the skin while I work on collecting the materials, and transmute it to my current pistol’s Giver stats, that would make it lose precursor status right? And if it does would I be able to recover it using transmutation splitter? What if I transmuted the pistol skin multiple times, would I need to split it before I transmute it again?
What are all the human nations and what happened to them?
I was advertising “LFG level 10 fractal” and then I got merged into a party, I went to begin my level 10 fractal and roll for swamp, I then get kicked and I asked them why I was kicked, because apparently I’m an “ignorant *&$%” and I was magically supposed to know that someone misread me advertising “LFG level 10 fractal” and that I was invited into a level 18 fractal… Yes, I’m the ignorant “*&$%”.
Can this be counted as LFG system abuse, as well as verbal abuse?
As I see on the Melandru runes it has 10%- condition duration/stun duration and then the sixth effect is 15%- condition and stun duration.
Does the 6th effect stack with the 2nd and 4th effect (meaning 25%- condition/stun duration)?
This happened to my friend yesterday when he tried to link me his gear, and it is happening to me now.

Nearly every time I go to Obsidian Sanctum I get a crash which has something to do with ‘Buff 338’ what ever that means, I have been experiencing it for WEEKS, I can’t count how many reports I’ve sent in about it. I also know that I’m not the only one experiencing it.
The reason I’ve finally decided to complain about it on the forums is because I waited in a queue for 30 minutes, just to go in, and crash in the middle of a fight.

Well, as some of you may know, there is a new armor type coming out called ‘Dire’ and it has condition damage, toughness and vitality. Using this combination with 0/0/30~/10~/30~ would be good right? Also the traits can be changed around to have 15 in acrobatics for felines grace, you can drop more caltdrops on dodge, and stack might(with the gain might on dodge trait)…
Also remember you can stack might with 25 in shadow arts, making already inflicted conditions do more damage(as well as the dodge).
I would like to test this build out, but what would you guys recommend? Is this good or a bad idea?

Yes, there’s a complaint thread in Tech Support board about it.
Personally I think they’re waiting now until all the local player and NPC models as well as local sounds are loaded so they are rendered and heard right away. Before I would zone in and just see name tags and hear nothing for a few seconds as my hard drive continued to churn.
But I seem to be in the minority with that opinion.
There should be an option for this I think.
Regardless, it still does this for me even with the possible new rendering system.
Is anyone else experiencing this slow loading screen? It never used to be like this for me, but the time it takes to load, I’d be better off walking back instead of wping.
I keep crashing in WvW obsidian sanctum, no one else is crashing there, and it always happens to be after I kill this warrior there. Is it possible that hes using a bug to crash me?

Well, I just finished with getting all my weapons on my thief and was wondering about this sigil, is it worth putting on the sword for s/d daze and s/p stun? Does daze even count as a “stun”?
Chill can help with slowing monsters down.
For example in CoF p2 there are assassins that will go straight for the NPC you have to protect and most people chill them because they cannot be knocked back/down or pulled.
No it wouldn’t make much change on subject alpha or bloomhunger because they don’t move around much and don’t really need to be chilled.
My suggestion is that chill is really good for kiting and slowing unstoppable monster down.
