how you can compare passive vs active healing so in pvp i got 394 every 1s and 456 every 3s so its 5308 healing every 10s what healing give you better healing vs passive and cd compare?? so other healing skills heal more in 10s but another 15-30s you must w8 in 30s you got 11820 from signet and potentional 4560 from trait healing and dont say warrior is weak about condition builds when got best cleanse in game Cleansing Ire with this you can clean 3 condition ( if have sigil for clean) 4 condition every 7-10s

Yeah lets forget that other classes dont have regen or protection or simple dmg reduction traits or healing on weapon skills or whatever they have.. Let just compare healing signet + trait and call it OP becausr other classes dont have it.. (ranger regen ia more if you count like that). Anyway people complaining about HS just are blind to see the total package of classes.

Remove the amount of healing on HS and no compensation on other skills or whatever means dead to warriors.

( ow and saying 450h per 3 seconds from adrenaling health is really not true.. Its 400 but only 400 on full adrenaline.. Well good warriors use there adrenaline also and you need to rebuild it.. So its more +-200h per 3 seconds)

I que up and time and time again its a premade vs a bunch of solo que? Even worse is when you get in game and 1 team is a Premade or semi premade, and we have 4 players????

How does a Ranked Match even Start with uneven teams? ! Player should be kicked and or placed on hold or the match should delay until teams are even…

There are mmo’s where you don’t get put in a team with a person you’ve blocked for pve content. It can be abused yes and I suppose that’s why it is not implement but I for one would also like the possibility to not be teamed up with certain players.

Ive played a lot of MMOs in the last 15+ years, what MMO allowed you to block other players from content while you were in the party?

I actually would like this.

It would encourage those scoreboard kitten to stand on a point and defend it instead of just capping and running away.

And then you’ll have those afking on nodes when the team fight is over on the other side of the map and/or another point is free to decap.

Afkers on nodes is far superior then Afkers off them…

I’ll call bs on Shadow where he says Roamer getting kills gets the least points. If you’re getting kills, you’re getting points. Usually Roamers rake the most points from my experience.

I do agree with you, however sometimes you might not get points for the kills. It happened to me a few times when I was moving between two points and got the kills, but the players were left to bleed out and in the end I wasn’t recognized as someone who killed them, too.

That’s a very specific case, and usually you’d make sure they die lol, i mean, them bleeding to death allows them to rally after?

No, usually you let people bleed out if it’s possible because you prevent them from playing for quite a long time.

This! You want to leave them on the ground dying so it takes longer for them to respawn and help their team again…

The reason people dislike it is because of the snowball effect it has. Whoever wins the first team fight will continue to have an advantage throughout the rest of the match.

If they broke it up into rounds, making each death permanent until the start of the next round it wouldn’t feel as punishing and “snowbally”.

Thats would be far better, I mean its either a zergfest to see who can kill the other team fast enough to camp their spawn. Or its a ring around the posey until one team dies than camp their spawn!

Its a spam fields and aoe fest…. Its great for caster to stand on rocks and blindly smash buttons, but for any Melee class its an absolute nightmare!

I refuse, absolutely REFUSE to use a kitten horn as a Master of Weapons Warrior!

I find Hambow works, I use a Axe/ Mace ~ Bow build that works, GS / Bow that works, Axe / Shield ~ GS that works.

All are variations as i do not follow the exact cookie cutter builds.

To be honest I think the only Warriors you would be hurting would be non Shoutbows!

Shoutbows could remove condis just as well without CI. You move CI they’d probably just spec into Brawlers recovery.

what do you guys do to stop this? how do you get around it its driving me away from gw2 =C.

playing mesmer at the moment and seeing people suffering the same thing i do when they see me, pop stealth blink and precede to watch them attack every clone i have summoned wasting skills or stand there trying to target me only to have me drop out and waste a skill on a clone or start fighting the ranger pet attacking them.

unless you are a warrior player who none of this applies to thanks to epic aoe cleave and stuns and fire……… etc etc because warrior

The only reason Warrior run with AOE is because of you!

Most of us do not even want to spec into CI but we have to or we will just melt from conditions. If you were to grandmaster CI ~ Spiked Armor ~ Defy Pain ~ moving down?

I am 44 I like you said Started playing on a Vectrex, then atari, intellivision, colecovision, sega, nintendo playstation………..

I love game and still play with my son who’s 24, I will use voice chat NP. Only think is I grew up on Roger Wilco, then Ventrillo. I like Ventrillo the best, I think Team Speak is ok but the issue arises when every other group is a new voice chat!

It gets ridiculous! I have no issue using voice chat, I will listen however I find most players to be Elitists thinking they’re sole purpose is to denigrate anyone who’s not amazing! The community in game is either relaxed lets do something or you suck you’re a noob “Blocked ignore” The do what I say because I am better than you attitude just ruins the entire game.

Difference of opinions in this game is immediate judgement by the player base and its bad.

Well I’ve been solo queing Ranked, and people seem to care far more about scores than getting nodes and defending them.

Well I can’t say I’ve ever seen this, with the exception of someone getting 0 points.

I play on Sea of Sorrows 7pm -10pm Eastern Time.

Well if Shoutbow is your issue than I fully am on board with Shoutbow being nerfed! I do not like playing Warrior to blow a horn…. I don’t like trying to kill them, I find them annoying and almost exploitive.

Warriors are already pigeon holed into 4 points in Defense for CI, you want to make their builds and less diverse?

Unless your a ShoutBow Warriors have almost no Condition cleanse other than CI.

If you are going to split the trait they better go lower in the tier….

I meet Premade after Premade in ranked as I solo que Ranked. My work schedule is not on par with my guild members most the time.

So to try and compete or get better in ranked I am resorted to Solo queing, and time after times its a 3- 5 man premade beating up on a bunch of solo que players.

You join as a Team you should fight a Team! Let me que matches while outside farming mines and i’ll be more than happy to wait for a fair match.

The concept of the Scoreboard is faulty as its a false pretense of success… It should changed into a break down of Defenses, Caps, Kills, Resses, Healing Done, etc………

Its becoming kittenous plague, as more and more people enter the matches and are yelled at for doing nothing because they have 0 points! This causes players to just zerg fest killing other players in an attempt to get points so they look busy.

When in a team I am judged by my points…….. Even though I grab a node or hold off the enemy , I am judged on point totals and called a noob even if I am the reason we are winning!

I hold off a point, I try not to die I even kill a couple ppl and finally over whelmed I perish. My team mate runs in and kills whoever remaining he gets ALL the points?

I hold off the enemy team and get them to target me, of point hoping my team is on nodes whiles I suicide myself….. I get 0 points!!!!!

Guardians are less forgiving than warrior as they naturally have the lowest HP pool out of the two heavies. Guardians have to finish just about every fight they get caught in by themselves, as most classes can stick to them pretty well. Warriors can engage and disengage at their leisure, especially if you are running a GS.

Warriors are less forgiving as Warrior needs to dispatch his target before he is dead! Warriors do not get easy condi removals, they don’t get Protections, Aegis, and rely on a regen. Only the GS warrior can flee, other specs are just as kiteable as Guardian.

Guardians has less hp but far more utility and do same if mot more dps as of now! Warriors are a quirky class that either succeeds or fails at its task, there is no middle ground like the Guardian.

Its a poorly placed trait, its in the second tier of the Power tree but is only effected by Conditions??????

So you have to trait high enough in power to get it but be a Condition Warrior to benefit from it!

Well, no it’s not going to become obsolete. Shoutbow warrior is brokenly OP for teamplay but it’s AIDS for 1v1. Warriors in PvE also are the new mightbot due to Phalanx Strength and scepter+LH eles are going to be a thing of the past once expansion comes probably.

The thing is warrior isn’t really in that bad of a shape unless you’re referring to its damage output. Arenanet still hasn’t fixed Berserker’s Power with burst skills, and pointlessly nerfed greatsword and indirectly destroyed warrior DPS with a lot of other nerfs over the year.

Right now, it’s just not where it should be damage-wise. It’s true that other classes can burst and dish out sustained DPS much better.

However, warrior still has a few things that are [brokenly] overpowered, such as Phalanx Strength in PvE.

After having tried shoutbow for several days in PvP I have to say it feels like I’m cheating when I use it. You basically cannot die against 1 person on point with it unless you let them, otherwise they will just not kill you. In terms of sustain, warriors are OP. This garbage is meta for a reason. However it can be countered, just like basically all other builds. Also D/D ele doesn’t have an easy time dealing with it, and that’s one of the most often-complained-about builds in all of PvP is it not?

Anyways, despite what any of you or I think about warrior right now it’s going to get majorly strong (at least, in PvE) on the expansion. You will see why soon enough.

P.S. – BlackTruth calls basically everyone in the game bad, yet begs people to watch his stream every other post. Keep that in mind while you decide for yourself whether or not you should take his post above or anything else he has to say seriously.

Without a ranged weapon you will be rooted in place often, having Mobile Strike would benefit the sword build, maybe the axe with Bull charge every 40 seconds. GS #3 and #5 also would remove immobilize if you had mobile strikes also.

The problem with speeding up your strikes is…. You’re opponents never stand still long enough to benefit from faster attacks.

You may get 1 extra attack out before they evade you thats not worth the slot.

Necro worst class in game

Necromancer has been my favorite class since I started playing, but it’s so discouraging playing in WvW. Necros should be the king of conditions yet we get outshined by so many other classes using condi builds. And our power builds don’t even make up for it cause we easily have the worst builds/weapons. We also have some of the worst mobility in the game so pretty much any other class can catch up to us if we even try to run. Then if using conditions you run into a warrior or ele who become invincible long enough for them to burst you down. I’m just hoping that the greatsword will actually be good and give us some movement, but still thinking about dropping the game till then.

Necro is the only class in the game that kills me in 4 hits with Deathly Claws a ridiculous ability that hits for 5k+ per hit!

A ranged weapon / a 2 hander great Sword or Hammer. Depends on your sword / Axe spec and what may over lap with another weapon well. I anticipate you are Arms, so Forceful Greatsword may be of some use…

The real problem is the timer. Even when your defense is strong and you’d probably win in the long run, the amazingly short timer rewards the most aggressive strategy every time. If the timer was, say, 20 or 25 minutes, I bet defense would be a more viable option.

Exactly, this reminds me of Alterac Valley now a days…. It was a great campaign of resources and bosses, now its a Zerg and over in mins.

I think Strong holds timer should be extended by a large amount. This should be a great back and forth battle to win, not a first to zerg wins!

Why we should buff turrets:

I think Engineer should be changed to Super Hero class, he spawns with a large long red cape and a big ST on his chest for Super Turrets!

He then is completely controlled by the game Developers while the player sits back watches, once in a match the ST engi flys to the middle of the map and plants a NUKE Turret, after a couple seconds giving the opposing team some hope, he sets the nuke turret off which kills all opposing players on the map and instantly give 500 points.

EDIT: Also note, if you happen to be so graced to see the ST be weary that any damage to the ST will be reflected back to you in the form of flying turrets that will chase you around with the subsequent damage.
