I’m coming back into GW2, I have warrior and Ranger on lvl 80, I wonder if Ranger has become any better in WvWvW over the past couple years and with the new expansion.
I also don’t do buff builds on my warrior, I’m a pure killing machine on all my characters.
You are bacisly screwed if you run into a reaper, scrapper, herald or dragonhunter.
You might have a slim chance against a daredevil….
Warrior coretrait-lines are very weak, compared to new new elites.
not really a fan of this expansion then :l kinda unfair people with expansion simply get to be stronger than those without, I agree with the new content and kitten only for people with the expansion but actually making them stronger because they buy it :l….
I’m a casual player with about 200h but I only do sPvP & WvWvW, how much weaker am I without HoT when compared to other people with HoT? I main warrior.
I’m a PvP / WvWvW only player, is it 100% must to buy expansion? Will I be at a disadvantage against those who have elite specializations? Or let me rephrase that, what advantages do people with elite specializations get?
What title says, doesn’t need to excel in either , just need to be decent/good in both
I have a warrior and ranger lvl 80 with endgame gear, I always wanted mesmer to be my first but since my friend made one I decided to go with warrior, now I’m leveling my mesmer, tried it in PvP but it’s so confusing, I can’t understand how do some people burst so hard with it, any tips?
I’ve been unsure of what to use >.<
GS/Rifle is great for 1 v 1’s and roaming, however weak for PvP due to having to hold inside the zones which is a big nono for ranged attacks
GS / Hammer is also decent-good for 1 v 1’s, roaming but it’s better than GS/Rifle in PvP and great to defend the zones.
GS / Mace/Shield is once again great for 1 v 1’s however can be kited a lot easier than the other 2 and no as good as GS/Hammer to hold down zones in PvP.
GS Hammer also seems better to 1 v 2 / 1 v 3 but I’m not sure. What’s your input on this?
Warrior is definetely much stronger then Ranger in sPVP at this time, and is among the top 3 most Overpowered classes in sPVP at this time.
Huh top 3?
oh you mean Mesmer >>>> Elementalist >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> warrior rampage (which lasts 20 sec)
Actually if the op like to play range classes, ranger is much better. The meta warrior build right now is Hammer/GS with strength, defence and discipline. However, it drop very quickly due to the high damage right now, it is definitely not an easy build to play.
It isn’t? I’ve used it today, made like 7 sPvP, haven’t lost a single 1 on 1 even against mesmers, won like 2 or 3 2 v 1 and 1 time 1 v 3, not to mention that the other times if rampage is up it means i get at the very least 1 kill in 1 v 2 and 1 v 3.
This build is broken as kitten.
Hell, even in one of the sPvP where I made the 3 v 1 the enemy team started whispering me raging hard as kitten lmao

Ranger is in a good spot for WvW right now, since July 23rd patch. The Piercing gives it an advantage over many AoE based classes. As for FPS, As you can stand further away from a players upto 1500 range, you may be able to notice a small increase in overall fps. If you roam in WvW, you can run Trapper Runes, and Trap utilities, which will give you constant Stealth everytime you drop any kind of class trap, even WvW Supply Traps, this will give you superior escape versus most situations when roaming, or zerging. With spvp, ranger suffers from poor defense/survival versus other classes, limited escape capabilities in spvp, they are squishy as power, moderate survival as condi/toughness, still weak versus condition enemies.
Warrior is more simply explained, definitely well known to be in a good place in WvW, great single target & aoe damage, in melee range, decent stability buffs, and decent might buffs. If lag is an issue, Roaming you should be fine, but if you ever plan to zerg, friend or foe, lag will be at its height in this situation. Decent roaming skills, but any enemy ganks will be an issue. Warrior is definetely much stronger then Ranger in sPVP at this time, and is among the top 3 most Overpowered classes in sPVP at this time.
Basically, If I was in your situation I would play Ranger in WvW, but Warrior in PVP.
Also what’s a decent warrior build for roaming/spvp? I’ve been running 2h GS/Rifle I have a hard time in sPvP due to having to defend inside the spots, in the new mode it’s alright, I love this build for roaming the most though.
I don’t know what’s happening, never had this before. Yesterday I was roaming with a couple friends, they immediately ran at the sight of 4-5 people and I charged in because they were only 4-5, as soon as I get close I’m instantly killed, apparently it was a 30-40+ men zerg adn I could only see 4-5 people.
Just queue’d for a PvP, only saw 1 or 2 enemies, the other 3-4 were invisible, hell I even killed 2 guys in a 2 v 1 without even being able to see their bodies.
PS: By invisible I do mean invisible, can’t see their bodies, actions, nothing, it’s as if I’m hitting the air.
Here I am thinking doing zergbusting with 18 fps is fine xD cant wait to get my new pc now..
Also please stick to your warrior :P too many cheese longbow rangers around these days.
I can run decently in zergs with 25+ fps the problem is that I see everyone green & red and in zergs I can’t even see the enemies so idk when to dodge, when to AoE, etc
Yeah same lowest settings here. I actually think even after i get a new pc it might be better for me to use lowest settings for zergbusting because it cuts away all the particle effects and leaves the red circles and most basic important telegraphs like clearly seeing where the wells are and statics etc Cos you watch the general momentum of the groups rather than individual skill animations in organised fights. But i wouldnt know until i try it.
If you literally have enemies not appearing on the screen though surely thats a problem with the settings cos culling was taken away from the game but (too long ago cant remember) i think its optional, thats a very important thing to change.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with my guild wars, everything is taking ages to load, I get into WvW I open inventory, it opens but can’t see whats inside unless I wait like 10 seconds, I remember running running around the map and being insta killed because I was apparently in an enemy zerg without even seeing them… (Only saw 2-3 people and they were at a safe distance)
Im really terrible with computers so im hoping someone else can come in and give you advice on whats happening. But my uneducated assumption if your fps is holding strong at 25 would be surely the loading times of inventory and missing people was a problem with your internet rather than computer? Btw are the enemy people darting around or just being straight up invisible?
Also look at this, might help.
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Culling
Culling has been removed from WvW in the Flame and Frost: The Razing release on March 26, 2013. WvW players are now expected to control the load on their systems in order to attain acceptable frame rates, by introducing limits themselves, using two new graphics settings:
WvW Character Limit: Five settings from Lowest to Highest. Controls the total number of character models that may be displayed in WvW. The remaining characters will appear as nameplates only. It is assumed that the farther they are, the more probable that only their nameplate will be visible. The exact number of characters corresponding to these settings is unknown.[verification requested]
WvW Character Quality: 3 settings from Lowest to Medium. Controls the number of high quality character models that may be displayed in WvW. Among the characters that are drawn (controlled using the setting above), this setting determines the number that is drawn normally, in high quality. The rest will appear as low quality character models which consume less resources on the player’s computer.
Nah I’m at 45-60 in zones with no enemies, only get those fps in zergs.
And they’re straight up invisible, just went for a pvp and killed an invisible thief ª(invisible as in literally invisible not due to skills)
I don’t knwo what’s wrong

I’d say the power ranger is in a better spot now than what u were used to for a year ago, since we now have better trait synergy options/condi removal. This is from a roaming perspective though, for zerg/group play we are still not that wanted. As for the other specs I cant comment on, though opinions vary on that subject. Many feel trapper builds are a goner after they removed thier throw-range.
I added my zerk variant to if you want to see one way https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/ranger/Post-Your-Build-Thread/page/5#post5274856
If you’re more into the group play/synergy, a warrior is a strong choice, which is still also a solid roamer. We have yet to see how the druid plays out though, it is speculated that itll be centered around support.
I dislike buffing teammates, there’s enough people to do that so it’s not like I’ll provide massive support with my warrior anyways, I also wont zerg due to FPS, I’m going for roaming & PvP
I’m really unsure which one to main, I like both, my warrior has better gear overall however ranger is also close to his gear.
I’m really unsure which one I should play if I focus on PvP & Roaming in WvW (I can’t zerg, like 20-30 fps max with everything on minimum, can’t even see the enemy it sucks).

Seriously, I’m not much into PvP, I usually only WvW and still out of the 10 games I made I lost like 5 due to teammates that don’t know what they’re doing, every single game #1 or #2 (only happened once or twice) with at least 130+ points and still lose because my teammates are nowhere to be found.
Haven’t played for almost a year, have a level 80 ranger and level 80 warrior both with good gear, how’s warrior now?
I remember it used to be pretty good, has it become stronger, weaker or remained the same?
Also what are some decent builds now? I remember running 2H Hammer / 2H GS or 2H Hammer / 1H Shield/Axe
Haven’t played for almost a year, have a level 80 ranger and level 80 warrior both with good gear, how’s ranger now? I remember everyone complaining about ranger being kittenty in WvW and useless back then, has the situation improved or is it still warrior > ranger for everything.
And what’s some good builds now?
(edited by Sumusikoo.1360)
Night capping has been a major problem for quite a while now, servers with a more balanced community in terms of timezone always has better chances of reaching high tier due to the simple fact that you can get just as many people during the day and the night, or at least quite a few, this promotes WvWvW unbalance because not every EU server is filled with North American users who are guild leaders or can find enough people to lead during the night time.
While when both servers are on peak even if you can see quite a skill and coordination difference between servers, it’s fairly possible and easy to lose to unorganized / less skilled servers due to the simple fact that your server doesn’t have enough Americans to cap during the night.
If this happens I’m rerolling
Love to see people complain about rangers in WvW but when you go ingame and ask them if ranger is good for WvW they say “No.”
Infact they mostlikely also say: “They also suck at dungeons, PvP and WvW”
Moral of the story: No one cares about you dying against a 1500m ranger because you suck, we(yes I love ranger) are not nearly as good as most classes for WvW, we lack utility, we suck for sPvP, we can’t even hold points due to being so squishy, we suck for dungeons and no one wants us.
Just deal with it and play with your broken classes.
Well, I’ve done a few changes, changed a couple of berserk part for knights (since IMO toughness > vitality and you get 10% toughness as power) and this way at least I have 3.1k armor 20750 HP and 2.1k power unbuffed (no food) with +4% pw from vit and 5% from tough I get to 2.4k power and I still have space for +1 buff and I don’t even have the WvW buffs on me.
I also got 42% crit chance unbuffed and 192% ferocity.
I also do take the take no damage skill since I find it helps quite a lot against most players that don’t play condi builds and in zergs its amazing since AoE doesn’t usually do condi damage
Seems to do decently well on roaming/GvG, of course I could be way better at both but It still allows me to perform well with some nice damage, although I need to try and get some more critical chance
Can you show your current build?
42% unbuffed crit chance seems quite decent to me. Power seems a bit low, whereas toughness and vitality are fine. I agree in that toughness>vitality, especially on warrior, though in zerg fights more vitality can’t hurt. Especially if you use Defiant Stance as your heal.
By all means, use endure pain. Tbh, the third utility skill in my build (Dolyak Signet) is interchangeable in my opinion. I usually slot Dolyak, but Endure Pain or Signet of Stamina are great situational skills. Even Bull’s Rush to catch up to somebody, or Fear Me to make sure that nasty thief can’t Refuge on you, are quite good.
This is the build I’m using at the moment, the stats aren’t 100% right because I know I had a little bit less power and ferocity and more critical hit %, I’m unsure which part is wrong but I’ll take a look once I get back, had to do that in a hurry since I got to go at the moment.
I also run Dolyak signet over Berserker stance simply because I’m still getting used to the game and my eyes aren’t yet used to checking my conditions toolbar so I’d be using it with wrong timing and / or in the wrong way, it also gives me 100 toughness which is quite nice since it also means a little bit more power, and since I have balanced stance to use first for stability I only need to use it second so those 100 toughness help me mitigate damage for quite a while before having to use it
That’s what bothers me the most, is finding a build that I enjoy playing and that is good for both 1v1/1v2/5v5 and for zerging >.<
If I had to pick the one that my build is suited for most, it would be 1v2. In 1v1 it is quite strong, but warrior can focus on dueling more then my build does. For 5v5 it is decent, mostly because of the area cc that hammer provides.
You need to let go of this idea though. You can not find a build that is good at everything. Mediocre, sure, but not good. If you insist on doing all variants of combat in WvW, get variable gear.

Try my Critical Hammer build. It’s on my channel, link in my sig.
Truth be told, if I had Hoelbrak I’d be running this instead of Berserkers Power. Glad you finally made a build video.
Always nice to hear!
Try my Critical Hammer build. It’s on my channel, link in my sig.
This build is exactly what I’m looking for.
How do you use it on zergs though? Being full zerker makes you extremely squishy.
Watching your videos and you tank so much harder than I do despite me having more armor/vitality, kitten
Shooting myself in the foot here when I say I’m not sure my build is for you exactly. If you are aiming to do well in both solo and small group (max 5) roaming, my build is definitely a good way to achieve that.
On a side note, my build is not full zerk. It has two knights rings, a cavalier accessory and a soldiers accessory. I come from running full zerk mostly, so I feel quite tanky in most encounters. However, it is not built for zerging. The thing is, in most zergs, you are expected to be a frontline CC machine while cleansing condis and healing through shouts. The meta shouthorn/hammer build does that way better then my build. Also, you will probably need a lot more vitality and a bit more toughness to last in those front lines, as the AoE pressure is quite heavy usually.
I hardly ever run with any zerg, but sometimes I do participate in large scale battles. I tend to stick by the sidelines, picking off stragglers that overextended from their zerg core. Hammer/GS is perfectly suited for this, although Destroyer Warrior probably does it better (Axe/Sh/GS).
This all being said, you will probably want to have two builds to pick from (and probably two sets of armor). Hoelbrak on zerk and Trooper on soldiers (?) seems like good choices.
That’s what bothers me the most, is finding a build that I enjoy playing and that is good for both 1v1/1v2/5v5 and for zerging >.<
As far as being a LB sniper in a zerg goes, you’re probably right.
The problem is most people on the forums judge what is good and what is not based of what top end guilds do, and trying to snipe off players from top guilds is not an easy task. They are good players and they will protect eachother, making us not all that effective.
The truth is though that the vast majority of fights in WvW are made up largely of pugs, less skilled guilds or just people not taking it 100% seriously because it’s not a GvG, and in that situation it’s surprisingly easy to take down 3-4 people in a single fight, making you actually pretty effective.
The final point is though that regardless of how useful you may or may not be, the zerg could survive just fine without any Rangers. It couldnt’ possibly survive without Guardians, Warriors and Elementalists, so looking at it that way we are redundant.
Thing is you don’t really need ridiculous amounts of those classes either, buffs can easily done by just a few warriors/guards you don’t need 20 of them, it’s redundant from that point on to say that warriors/guards are absolutely needed when you already have plenty of them, if we follow that train of thought there still are other classes that the zerg can survive without but they are still considered “far better” than ranger for WvW by people in this forum
I mean, I keep hearing people saying how ranger is trash for WvW but I find ranger quite good actually.
Sure we don’t have a kitten ton of buffs but why would we need when every single warrior, guardian, etc out there already follow the meta builds to spam buffs on the zerg.
If your zerg is a full buff zerg, if you don’t have the raw damage to follow it up you won’t get very far either.
I feel like the ranger is quite good in both, dueling and WvW, we hit harder than most classes at 1500 range while having 2 different aoe condition cleansing for the zerg and AoE damage, we don’t particularly excel at support nor at AoE but we do excel at damage and last time I checked, damage is never too much.
With this said, I find myself dropping a kitten ton of enemies in zergs just by rapid firing them without any chance of retaliation, the best thing is that it only has a few seconds cooldown, if downing enemies or taking 50%+ hp with a single skill thus making enemies retreat or make them useless for the rest of the zerg fight, while cleansing conditions from you and your allies and if needed rooting enemies, if it isn’t considered at the very least “decent” then sorry but I’m probably playing the wrong game.
Try my Critical Hammer build. It’s on my channel, link in my sig.

Full Berserkers is so that you can actually kill something while roaming and skirmishing as GS/Hammer. Naturally high armor and HP + melandru, soup, DM and CI should be enough for that. Swap in Soldier accessories for zerging as necessary.
Are you not utilizing dodges/evades properly, are you getting overloaded with condis, and/or do you just not have the support required to sustain a Warrior in a zerg?
Check above I just edited. I usually just go go for this in zergs when using GS/H
Jump in > Endure Pain > Spam all hammer skills > Switch to GS > F1 > 3 and 5 out before dying due to endure pain wearing off
Your original build is similar to the Hammer/GS roamer meta. Only with Hoelbrak over Melandru and a lot of PVT to fatten you up for zergs which severely decreases your effectiveness in small scale fighting.
Also GS doesn’t really play well as a zerg weapon since that weapon set is more for mobility and 100B after an Earthshakers/Bulls Charge.
So here’s my input, if you must. One set of gear but two trait & utility setups. You could also swap in a few Soldier accessories for the zerg build if you have them.

Seems nice, however why full berserk? I already feel squishy with these many soldier parts let alone full zerk :P
I just tried this build and its kittening broken for 1v1 1v2 but I feel clueless in zergs, any tips on what I should do on zergs?
(edited by Sumusikoo.1360)
It’s my exact warrior build GS/H, even the same equipmenta and sigils, any tips for WvW/PvP?
They are so broken, invisibility every 2 seconds, makes me untarget them which then takes a little split seconds/second to target again once he shows up and they just 1-3 shot me
^^^
wow so rare to see GS/Sw warriors although its a pretty effective roaming set , salute to you m8.
That’s a build purely made to run away, not to fight.
Build or Set ? there is a difference.
if you are using GS/Sw just to run away then reroll to thief or mesmer.
I don’t really play it for running, I mix in a mace depending on the play style im feeling, but I like its manuverability, feel, and versatility. It does help with running, but I only run in an impossible situation. But as I said, I will run axe and mace depending on how I’m feeling.
I run full pvt, trinkets and all. It works pretty well. Gives me tankiness since I tend to fight outnumbered most of the time. I hit 1k with GS AA, 3k no crit on final thrust, and my 100 blades hits for 15k on a full Chain. I sit 2,450 power and 3,500 armor with 30k health. It’s pretty amazing actually. How do you have so much power, armor and health? show build please
Power Vitality Toughness
Oh wow don’t you say <,<
Strength traitline is a joke for spvp/wvw. Try using those points in discipline or defense.
I quite like the 7% to vitality, not worth using 2 traits on it?
Warrior has a natural high hp. For example a zerker warrior has about the same hp as a thief or ele wearing full soldiers.
What is your goal? Zerging, medium or small scale fights?
Zerging and skirmishing, must be viable for both
Maybe these traitS?
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQJARSjMdU2ZZIehQHigfgC5t3CmCA1pRuXGpOCA-w
but this way I don’t have as much power. With this ingame and exotic/ascended gear I got onlly 23.880 Health, 2.788 armor and 2078 power

Somewhat new to warrior being a main of ranger, I have played warrior for quite a while but never in a very competitive manner as I play with my ranger but I want to turn it into a beast and I really enjoy GS/Hammer combo, shield isn’t really my type nor warhorn/sword.
This is my current build:

I switch elite depending in what I’m doing, zerging = banner, skirmishing = the other one.
What suggestions do you have about everything, sigils, equipment, etc etc
Some tips would also be appreciated

I like ranger but I do feel kind of useless and weak once any melee class gets close to me (which isn’t a hard thing to do with all those gap closings). Getting one shotted by thiefs or CC’d to death by guardians/warriors is kinda boring.
I also like warrior but find it really hard to play effectively, I’m not into support warrior (sword/warhorn/GS) so I usually prefer a warrior that’s good at both zerging and skirmishing for some extra fun, I don’t know fi I should run GS/Mace and Shield or GS/Hammer
The thing with warrior is that I die really quickly in the middle of the zerg fights, and I’m not that much into supporting my allies with might so I mainly get stuff that are good for skirmishing/fighting.
Ranger I feel like I don’t have much utility other than dishing out some nice dps and long range AoE, other than that its meh.
But to be fair I play a lot better with ranger than with warrior, get a bit confused on what to do in certain situations + I’m not used to my old keybinds so I get messed up trying to active kitten lol
I play war main and love it… but with the new map incoming… it favours ranged combat being so vertical.
If you like to get right in the fray and smash things, go war … if you like to kill wars who are half health in the fray, range them down. I hate ranger groups… as a warrior
I like both classes, ranger is obviously a lot safer since I know warrior is a melee and can easily be defeated if I get into big groups which is a big problem of melee classes
absolutely ranger
Any build link?
Which is now best for WvWvW? I haven’t played in almost a year.
Wish I could say I’m having the same experience.
I’ve been playing since launch as a warrior and just cannot seem to get a grasp on any pvp build/rotation/technique that shows any consistency with my playstyle. Maybe I’m just terribad, but I find myself repeatedly perplexed by encounters in sPvP where I’m literally killed by an opponent in a fistful of seconds whereas any fights I have hopes to win are long and drawn out over about a minute…and it’s a struggle. I just rage quit from a game where another warrior seemingly 2-shot me over and over while I was using this celestial build (http://en.gw2skills.net/editor/?fJAQNAncTjMd04ZVImhwJagfgC9M0CHupAQ9bk7lBA-TpBHwAAOBAGeAAd2fIwhAYwRAAZZAA). I’ve been trying a myriad of builds before this…hambow included.
I was a 2000+ rated 2s arena warrior in WoW, currently doing ok in lowbie PvP in Wildstar, so I’m no stranger to PvP.
I just can’t get a grasp. I am confuse.
You’re on tilt. Happened to me before with my ranger, you think your warrior is super weak which makes you feel week and feel like you can’t kill anyone which then reflects on your decision making in fights which makes you lose fights.
I see myself destroying anyone in fights with my warrior and I’ve only been playing warrior for 2 weeks. So far only trouble I’ve had was against 1 mesmer and almost all the thieves (thieves so gayly op with all the invis) other than that I destroy the kitten out of anyone.
Just stop thinking bad things about yourself and your warrior, focus on killing and never be afraid of dying.
This is nothing new to most people but I suggest you to get tactics 2 and pick the immobilize trait if you hit enemies with a spell that cripples, awesome synergy with hammer 3 skill and then switch to GS skill 2. Insane damage and can pretty much kill anyone in seconds
This is the build that I use personally. Hammer/Greatsword allows you to CC your enemies to death, preventing them from doing damage to you while simultaneously bursting them down.
It is more of a 1vX build than a 1v1 build. You have a stupid amount of armor (3,187) so it is difficult for classes to burst you initially (although that number will go down to 2,907 throughout the fight due to Dolyak Signet and Thick Skin). High armor for a warrior is key to winning most of these 1vX fights.
I also forgo the use of Endure Pain because I feel like I don’t really need it anymore and I don’t really miss it. However, I LOVE having double stability. Getting a stomp off in 1vX fights is extremely crucial to winning them and having stability or not is often the difference between you winning, losing or having to back off and try again. It is kind of hard to stop a warrior who has stability on unless you corrupt their boons and use immobilize/chill. Double stability has won me so many fights, I also run with a group sometimes and I am pretty much the designated stomper because I can pretty much get it off any time I want.
You also have kitten near maxed critical damage (220%) for high spikes in damage, great for taking down 1 opponent quickly as well as 2,300+ base power which goes up much higher once you start building up some might. Also I use Strength Runes, you could use Hoelbrak or Melandru but I prefer stacking up damage. In groups with a good ele or guardian 25 might stacks for 10+ seconds isn’t out of possibility.
I also go 2/0/6/0/6 for many reasons, although you could go 4/0/6/0/4 or 0/4/6/0/4. I love Reckless Dodge to death. The 25 minor in Discipline helps you net 2-3 extra might stacks during a fight. Heightened Focus significantly increases my crit chance to around 70% with fury while being able to achieve all this tankiness.
A possible weakness would be classes who are condition based with lots of misdirection and evasiveness. Mesmers and Thieves would fit that description. This is a full melee build so it is difficult to catch these classes. Even a condi warrior could potentially be difficult to take down depending on their build and how proficient they are with it. You can in that case switch Dolyak Signet for Signet of Stamina.
I have been using this build and holy kitten its amazing, extremely tanky and good damage, however I feel like I lack control and really need the trait in tactics that makes you immobilize the enemy when hit with a spell that cripples, works awesome with hammer 3 and then switch to gs and skill 2, awesome burst and good control, so I’m not sure which traits I should switch out for that skill, any suggestions?
That is also a great option I forgot to mention, thanks for pointing that out.
I would forgo the 2 points in strength to make it 0/0/6/2/6. You gain the extra HP back in tactics anyway. However you do lose the extra 100 power and Reckless Dodge, but that can be seen as worth it as the 10% extra boon duration allows your might to last longer and you have more control and CC.
Hmmm I guess I will have to try it and see which works best for me although I’m 100% sure that the extra cc is gonna be better (for me) because I prefer to help my allies who are being chased and I love chaining it with GS skill 2, super awesome burst, sometimes enough to 1 shot squishies and if you land it on enough enemies in a zerg its a huge game changer. Although my build is a bit too tanky already and think I’ll be lacking some damage. currently at 23k HP with 3k armor xD

Can someone explain to me how to craft the percursors? I’ve had so many exotics that I sold for 1 gold… Also how much are precursors worth?
I just farmed 9k token today only and bought 30 tomes, totally worth it to get my alts to 80
How are people making 2k+ Gold I saw some people saying they had up to 6k gold some had over 1k gold… Yet I can barely get past 50g… I make like 5g daily maximum.
I WvW 5-8 hours daily and can’t get anywhere near those 1k+ gold…
What tricks are people using to farm so much kitten gold?
are you selling the mats from loot bags?
No I sell the loot bags directly.
I have been selling everything through TP only and yesterday made over 30g!! definitely a improvement but still would take me 2-3 months without spending a single gold to get anywhere near the costs of a legendary
I do far more damage with LB than with GS infact I only use GS to run away or to catch up..
Why are people saying ranger does more damage? I can dish out a full 20k burst with long bow with rapid fire while with GS I’m lucky if I get a 2-4k crit with the second skill
