Playing my Necro at the moment and literally all I have to do is press F1 and then own anyone near me.

This is a joke. Please nerf me so I can play other classes.

The only response by a programmer in here just further proves that these guys are not very good at what they do.

If they are going to make us have to play like thieves then why not give us damage buff across the board. At least gives us warriors a chance to help in team fights by being able to burst a couple people down before our inevitable death.

I’m literally having 0 fun playing ATM. I have a necro, but I refuse to use it because it is such a cheese build/class. You literally don’t do anything and you win fights.

Conditions are just out of control and they have been for over a year now. The game is really going downhill from a PvP standpoint.

At least they are adding more fun stuff to do in PvE I guess. To bad I’m not into PvE so much.

Does anyone else ever feel like you aren’t even playing the game when using a Melee class? Is this GuildWars2 or Pinball because I feel like a pinball and I’m wasting two skills for stability and it’s still not enough.

If you think this game is grindy then you are the definition of “noob” in the MMORPG world.

No. I don’t think that is ridiculous at all. That is part of MMORPG’s. The grind is what makes it worth it when you finish. It’s called working and earning something and not just having it handed to you.

I’m a bit worried about this also. I did this to buy the Account Ramp Up and its been 48 hours and still no gems. I mean is it actually going to take 72 hours? LOL

Build is only good for people who know how to land strikes.

Arms- Signet Mastery, Unsu Foe, Burst Precision
Defense- Dogged, Armored Attack, Cleansing Ire
Discipline- Warrior Sprint, Destr of Emp, Merciless Hammer

Utility Skills- Signet of Rage, Berzerkers Stance, Balanced Stance, Signet of Dolyak

I run Doom and Goemancy on my Longbow

I just don’t see 2 might stack being better than 10% damage increase on 100% criticals. The 10% has to be higher. I would say 80% of the time my opponent is knocked down or stunned when I use my high damage hammer skills.

If you are running Ham/GS with 30% stun duration on Hammer and you hit a full adrenaline stun late in the fight then 100B is actually a pretty OP skill.

Problem is that is a very low % situation.

Since they nerfed sigil of battle have any of you guys switched to sigil of impact instead?

Well you crit with your main 3 hammer skills every swap and with Fury you have 52% crit chance with the Greatsword. It crits a lot more than you might think. Even at 32% it seems to crit a lot.

In fact, I almost think they have the percentages screwed up because of the amount of crits I am getting. Maybe I’m just lucky.

Here is the new build I have been playing with. Starting to really enjoy this build. I get so tired of playing with Longbow because Greatsword is my favorite weapon in the game, and I finally think I found a nice build.

Power is low, but the build is based around CC and Criticals. It’s also nice and tanky with almost 24K HP and 3112 Armor.

This is an extremely good build if you get a full adrenaline Hammer Stun then switch to Greatsword for 100B because you get off at least 4 swings. Had a 7.5K crit on 4th swing today which totaled about 12.5K total damage to enemy while stunned.

This build has been fun. Also has great mobility for capturing points and flee’ing when outmatched.

So, been playing a lot of PvP lately again and if I remember correctly a few months ago when I used to play I could not ever win against a thief in a 1 vs 1. He would either burst me down to fast I couldn’t even think or he would run away and reset then come back and finish me off.

Lately, I’m getting immob and backstack for half my HP and then they just don’t do anymore damage it seems. I haven’t lost a 1 v 1 against in a thief since i have been back. They seem extremely squishy and don’t do enough damage after the initial burst. If I catch them with my hammer rotation they literally die in 3 hits with my sigil of intelligence giving me 3 crits 100%.

What happen to you guys? Just curious if I’m running into bad players or they just nerfed the class a lot.

Cost me half my gold to tranfer to Jade Quarry. It was EXPENSIVE!!!

I’ve got the 4790k @ 4,6ghz and believe it doesn’t go over 80% with GW2.

There’s always a huge drop in FPS, I go from 40-60 fps to 7-11 on full maps world bosses. (Karka, Svanir)

I have this exact build and I run about the same. I don’t think I have ever seen it below 10 FPS though.

As topic says I’m looking for a PvP guild.

Yeah this really really really sucks. I had a guy immoblized today and still missed with Rush. That skills does a lot of damage and for it not to work just breaks any viable build with greatsword. I mean it can do up to 3.5K on crit with a tanky build. That is a TON of missed damage for no reason but a broken game.

Let’s just put this to rest. Companies are greedy. Companies love money. An expansion = more money. An expansion = a lot more money.

Therefore, there will be an expansion. I can almost guarantee it. Only way there won’t be is if ANET/NCSOFT doesn’t love money.

I don’t find pvp stale at all. Probably needs more maps and game modes. Would like 1v1 and 2v2 type arenas and a few other things, but I enjoy it still. It’s the only thing I really do in this game.

It’s all I do as well now, and I don’t mean the actual gameplay/PvP is stale. The game mode is becoming stale. I’m almost to the point where I don’t want to do anything but fight other players and then my team gets kittened at me for not capturing points.

You bring up a great point and I am in the same boat you are. PvP is not dead at all, but it is becoming stale. Something tells me there is an expansion coming for Guild Wars 2 in 2015 and I feel like PvP is going to get a lot of love. Heres to hoping.

Best PvP in the Genre by far. I have Guild Wars 2 on my desktop so I can jump in sPvP and WvWvW every now and then. Other than that I don’t play the game anymore. They have pretty much failed on the PvE side of things in my opinion.

sPvP is hurting for some new game modes and maps as well.

Longbow the entire time and get some conditions on them by having condi sigils on your bow. When they try to run away and use their stealth bubble, pull out your hammer and Earthshaker…. proceed Hammer rotation.

When they become visible they will be downed. Until they run away just use Longbow.

Thiefs still have to get close to you to do any damage. Just drop conditions and AoE’s. I’ve killed so many Thiefs without ever even seeing what I am hitting. I just AoE/Condi them down and always keep moving so they can’t backstab you.

Most classes can deal with a hambow in 1v1s nowadays. Axebow is probably the best for that.

Respectfully disagree. Hambow is the only good 1v1 option. I will crush an Axebow warrior in 1v1.

Mesmers are the worst. They can just go invis and teleport until their buddies show up. Warrior/Guardian’s have the worst downed state skills IMO.

Even if you knock them down as Warrior they can still stomp you before Last Stand is available making it a useless skill.

We are looking for casual PvP’ers to run 5 vs 5 with. The reason I say casual is because we are a lot of older players with responsibilities and can’t always commit to certain dates and times, but we love to PvP a lot and looking for more people to do it with.

Why would the ladder be ranked on wins? If you join solo arena like I do and get nothing but kittenful teams and never win, then you can’t have a good ladder rank?

When I’m finishing at the top of the leaderboard every game with a team that is incompetent there is nothing I can do. You can’t win conquest solo.

Ladder rank needs a change.

Went full zerk/power/ferocity and only managed 8.3K hit in PvP with it.

Is Immobile Strikes really worth the 2 into Vitality when you can put those 2 into Power and give yourself 100 more power + about 1K More health using the Power into Vitality trait.

Seems like you are trading Health + Power for Immobile Strikes when only 1 skill actually uses Immobile Strikes and it literally lasts 1 second.

Frankly I have been playing with the extra power and vitality over the immobile strikes, but I wanted to hear some real PvP’ers opinions.
