Still happening for me after 3 months, but only on my human (not my norns).

A few things I noticed:

The camera is higher so it’s looking down at the characters.

The Norn seem taller.

Also, when I go to switch characters after using a different one, the characters at the bottom are extremely bright.

I would also like the offhand training back, especially for whirling defense. Hopefully it was addressed in the bug forum, if it is a bug.

I have had this problem since Tuesday’s (June 16) update I believe. Kind of annoying, but I usually cancel then try again and it works.

This bug seems to only happen to my human, not my Norn. (I don’t have other races)

I am having the same problem today. Usually doesn’t happen.

Yes I noticed this as well today.

Double clicking in your bags used to place items in your bank. Now it’s not.

You can double click items from your bank to your bags, but not vice-versa.

FWIW, That fixed it for me as well – I no longer have to run the launcher with -email / -password / -nopatchui.

This is on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Control Panel > Internet Options > Connections > LAN Settings
Make sure “Automatically detect settings” is UNchecked

Funny thing is, I usually disable auto-detect but apparently I have gotten lax in my old age.

EDIT: This fixed the issue on all 3 computers. I think we have a winner!

My “Automatically detect settings” was already unchecked. Still didn’t work. So I unchecked both boxes and it worked.

Hopefully my computer won’t explode.

Can’t run the game either. It gets to the login screen and freezes. I try to click somewhere in the window and nothing works. Restarted my computer as well.

Was working last night.

Edit: Also tried to run the GW2 repair, but it crashed as well.

Temples are almost always open now. I enjoyed doing the events and helping people opening them up. Now I pretty much can never do them anymore since I have to work during the day and they’re open the entire night.

When we transmute an item, the items’ name stays the same. I liked the old system where you could skin an item and then link the skins’ name with the new stats. If someone asks what axe I’m using I link it and it says Tonns’ Reaver rather than Dragons’ Jade Reaver. This may confuse some new players as they may think “Oh, I want that Tonns’ Reaver because it looks cool”. I could manually type out the name of the skin, but it was nicer when I could just link it.

Anet should really keep the name of the LOOK of an item, not the stats. It’s confusing sometimes.

Plus, people spend money for weapons like Kasmeer’s staff, and it you lose the name, only to be renamed after the weapon you transmuted from that had the stats you wanted. In my case, my Kasmeer’s staff became the Pillar of Ulgoth.

I also spent lots of gold for the Jade Quarterstaff only to be renamed.

If you got it before the changes made to ticket items, then it’s not sellable. I’ve heard that if you stack it with another one it turns into the sellable version. If you can afford to, maybe you should put in a buy order for another one, combine them, and sell them at the higher price.

However, I recommend having someone that’s done this confirm it works before you spend the gold.

I remember doing that with blueprints last year, but those were cheap and easy to come by.

Did you try putting it in the back and retrieving it again? Sometimes this helps “reset” the item.

How do I make my Winter’s Arc Short Bow Skin sellable? People are selling their’s on the TP but I can’t get mine to sell.

It’s not in an invisible bag or anything since I don’t have any.

Help would be appreciated as it sells for a good price.

Now when I get derisive or pitying looks, I can take a minute to imagine I’m sitting on a golem’s shoulder like a complete kitten.

Not sure if cursing or if you’re imagining you are a kitten on a golem’s shoulder.

The drop down menu on the TP isn’t going away after you select something.

Usually, after clicking on a category, the selection is made and the drop down will go away. Now you have to click off to reach the other menus.

Before last Tuesday’s patch (Escape from LA), the TP was fine.

Small bug, but it’s quite annoying when it was working fine before.

Can we please dodge in the direction we double tap? I hate dodging into the lava or electrical field then dying.

Not to derail the thread, but why isn’t there an in-game email telling people about this wonderful instance? I have friends who didn’t know about it and I only stumbled across it because I read forums.

The yellow instance marker on the LA is WAY too easy to miss, there should be an email directing people there.

How does one get into this instance?

Edit: Just looked at the wiki. I missed a lot of dialogue. Is it possible to go back and talk with them?

Can you please make the character dodge in the direction relative to the player?

A lot of times, my characters dodge in the direction they are facing rather than the direction my camera is pointed when I double tap in a certain direction.

For example, when fighting the Inquest Golem, if I want to dodge in the direction my camera is facing, I’ll press WW. But since my character is looking to the left, she’ll dodge forward relative to her (which is left for me), and I’ll end up in the electric field and die.

This has been going on for a long time but I don’t remember this problem a year ago when I started. I wonder if anyone else has this problem?

Dwayna on Maguuma has been bugged for 226+ hours. That’s more than 9 days.

The pants cuts my character in half. This happens a lot with armor leggings.

Are these getting fixed BTW? I see a lot of players with characters cut in half.

The rune has only been bugged for 2 weeks, not since release. They changed the tooltip to +25% movement speed to match the traveler rune set but they havent changed the actual 6th rune bonus which just gives 5% as before.

but… but…. the game launched “about a year ago”, and I found this post in these forums regarding these exact same runes…

What’s sad is it even says that it’s a bug on their official Wiki page:

Bug: The 6-piece bonus still rewards the 5% movement speed it had previous to the 2013-09-03 patch instead of 25%

So they know it’s not working.

I have 1 million “shards” and I only play 1 hour a day. Also, I never leave Lion’s Arch.

I have to join a party to target lock and closest target is just a complete joke – the merest hint of an obstacle between you and the closest target and the game defaults to selecting the nearest available moa.

I have targeted enemies in Guild Wars 2 and ended up attacking an enemy in Tera.

This is very true. Quality not quantity.

You can see the arm part of the Feathered top go right through the Winged gloves.

The Feathered top also cuts through the Stately shoulder on the right side (character’s left).

This cuts off my characters at the waist. Similar to the winged set a long time ago. Each piece by itself cuts the character in half but when combined, it looks worse. Hard to see the cut line in the screen cap but I assure you it’s there.

I didn’t equip it on my character, only previewed it. Don’t want to buy something that cuts me.

Here’s a screen cap. I transmuted temple karma armor to my Sorcerer’s Coat. When I preview the coat, it shows the karma armor temple instead.

Not just you. I have the same problem. It shows the previous armor it was transmuted from. It bothers me too. Little things that bug, when it was working properly before.

I noticed on the character select screen that the eyes on my characters looked funny. Subtle, but I can tell that they didn’t look as good as before.

Then I used my Total Makeover Kit. Now you can tell.

This all seemed to happen after Queen’s Jubliee.

There are some “elitist” who just can’t live without being 2 minutes faster.

There are three things you can do:

1. Learn that dredge fractals exploit
2. Find another party or (even better)
3. Don’t do PUGs and do it with guildies.

Hard to learn if people always kick you. Sometimes guildies are not available.

Also, those dumbskritts should give you a heads-up before asking you to join their party.

I have good survivability with my ranger. Survivability = staying alive to rez their sorry arses when they go down.

They should at least request what kind of profession they want in their group before recruiting you.

Rapid Fire = Dodge.
Heck a warrior with a bow is a tougher opponent than a Ranger using a longbow.

Seven months and still bugged.

Just tried escorting the Pact on Maguuma and they stopped after Lasciate Gateway. Was doing the Balthazar event since Thunderhead and the bug screwed up everything since the event failed.

For the past couple of days, every time I fight the Shadow Behemoth, it lags and I get disconnected. It happened 3 times in 1 fight one time.

It’s never happened before, and it doesn’t happen with other major events.

My computer is pretty decent BTW and since it’s never happened before, I don’t think hardware is the issue.

Stolen Kite Baskets
Thieving skritt have pilfered a handful of Kite Baskets from the Sanctum. Players can locate these at the top of several jumping puzzles throughout Tyria and open them for extra rewards.

I’ve done 3 jumping puzzles that have the big kites at the end, and have not been able to click on the basket to open it. All I can do is talk to the skritt.

Is this a bug?

On the mouse over for Elixir F (elixir gun), it says that it gives 6 1/2 seconds of swiftness.

It only gives me 3 seconds.

Engineers are already slow. Would be nice to have that extra swiftness.
