If you find a good party that know what a necromancer can do while supported, you’ll be able to do great things. But there’s only few players that really care about your fate doing SoloQueue.

I really like the necromancer and in sPvP is funny to play. Not the top class but the only able to make those top meta builds weak as the nobbest build ever.

If you don’t care to be unable to carry a match or to win a 1v1 (unless against few support builds) and like to be the nightmare of every boon spammer, that’s your class.

And what would be a good class that can carry? (Barring thief, I’m an absolute disaster playing the class)

I played GW2’s first PvP season and got to diamond, but I’ve been out of the game for a very long time and I don’t know the current state of the classes in PvP, so I was wondering if you could recommend a class in order to climb the ladder when the season starts, as the title says.

Ended up paying about 20g this morning just to avoid hours of more frustration. Our minds don’t all process information the same way. For some of us these jungle maze maps are fun, but very challenging. When you add in impassable mobs we fall into and target location markers (green stars) that do not have depth/z-location well defined, you remove all the fun and just induce rage. This is horrible design. The maps themselves are phenomenally good, it’s the other teams that I feel dropped the ball.

Some of them work at your first try and some of them need you to complete that instance first (even tho the achievements are available and you can complete them) and then repeat a second time to get them.

Profession cache for completing a map doesn’t update the collection for its ascended weapon.

This is happening to me with the one near the waypoint next to Auric Basin. I’ve killed 3 times that frog and it still appears as incomplete. Sitting at 98% completion.

That is griefing and you can be reported for doing it.

1.- Ascended gear removed
2.- Everything that made GW1 good and its QoL features (templates, etc)
3.- Make a REAL open world without stupid portals or unscalable mountains.
4.- Overflows disappear
5.- Gem store is deleted and they start focusing on everything they said on their Manifesto

Those were more of an achievement that what we have here in GW2 that is more of a shop list instead of a true achievement that is tied to a title.

Yes, but none of the other cities offer the same level of convenience as Lion’s Arch (in terms of number of services offered and proximity of services to each other, not to mention gate travel) , that’s why LA was consistently the most visited location. If you do a lot of crafting, or are trying to make a legendary or use the BLT a lot you absolutely know what I mean. Time is money and you will be losing a lot of time from this loss of convenience.

Sorry but no, Rata Sum is 20 times better than Lion’s Arch in terms of convenience, everything is so packed that you don’t need to go on a 2min run to get frmo the bank to the BLTP merchant, and the crafting stations are super close, so no, LA sucks in comparison with Rata Sum in those services that you mentioned.

The problem with sPvP is that so few people play it because it needs so much improvement and the reason ANet doesn’t focus on improving it is because so few people play it. It’s a vicious cycle that has left sPvP gut-shot and hemorrhaging a hardcore player base with no one working to patch it up. Not matter how much noise we make for a worth while sPvP experience its drowned out by the sound of the PvE playerbase clamoring for more content. I for one wouldn’t mind seeing the whole mode scrapped and completely redone in the image of GW1: Random Arenas, Team Arenas, Guild versus Guild (uh hello, GUILD Wars without any warring guilds? Wtf!?;), Alliance Battles, and Hero’s Ascent arenas (HoH). And lets not forget Jade Quarry and Fort Aspenwood either.

I agree with nearly everything that you posted, but everybody makes the same mistake. The name of GUILD WARS comes after the lore of Tyria, not the GvG mode. I just wanted to point that out.

How long can really play a game that offers no rewards when getting exotic equipment was as easy as spending a few gold on the tp? Did you really think that for the lifespan of this game you were going to be using the same stuff you aquired within the first few months of release? No it’s not. Guild Wars 1 had 7 years of lifespan WITHOUT this STUPID GEAR TREADMILL. You only had to buy the armor you desired without worrying about getting better stats. Sorry about your statement but I think that it is so wrong

Hey all, it is my fault the updates to those 3 dungeon chains did not get into to the notes. There is a lot going on right now and as we establish our patch process sometimes things will slip through the cracks. I wanted to shed some light on the dungeon speed clear stuff as well. You should not see any diminished returns unless you.

1) Run the same exact chain over twice in a row
2) Complete multiple dungeons in 30 minutes or less each.

We also reduced the rewards of completing story mode, once you have already completed it, because the rewards for story mode were never intended to be a high as they were.

At this time, dungeons should one of the most efficient ways to level and get gold, and it is not our intention to make them feel like a grind.

So then the worse thing to do is setting the dungeon gear to 1380 tokens which is way too much. That is something that must be lowered if you don’t want your players to feel like they are grinding in a korean farmfest.

The PvE gear is different from the PvP if we are talking about the structured one, not sure if you are talking about the WvW PvP

It disappointed me a little when I saw that and my first thought was of censorship.

So yeah, 1380 for a full set in a high difficulty which you will have to farm hours and hours is better than having a method to acquire the set you like. One thing is difficulty, the other one is transforming GW2 in a WoW dungeon farming fest.

So instead of giving us a reponse about how fail the personal story is you just posted about that stupid thing of the kittens. GJ ArenaNet, keep up with that..
