This NEEDED to happen! Aegis blocks 1 hit and vanishes why should stability make players completely immune to CC? Stability is THE REASON I don’t play interrupt mesmer. “Oh just strip it” yeah, have a build that needs to boon strip before becoming effective, thats a great idea.
I am already testing builds now, when this goes live I will be having a good time!

I am almost positive the answer to that question is yes. I post links to my videos here and have never had a problem. I personally only post once and if your video could/would fall under multiple catagories (wvw/communitycreations/mesmers) I would just pick the one you felt best fit.
Good luck!

Blobing will remain as long as it is a viable strategy. 2 amatuers fight, the stronger wins. 2 trained people fight, the one with the higher skill wins, strength takes a back seat.
You need synergy and strategy.
If you can organize it, I’d recommend

Learning to Havoc can be dangerous
Here, take this
This is my 16th video in my WvW Pro Tips series
Learning about WvW can be intimidating, especially small scale fights/solo roaming/havocing.
These videos were put together to take the edge off of learning, give you some basics and maybe a neat trick here and there.
Good luck in the mist

Nice video, I’m glad I am not the only one trying to make the roaming scene more welcoming to new comers. If you ever visit TC send me a whisper, we’ll have a good time

Please show how to solo camps? Best spots to lure the guard to? How light geared professions can do it? How Guard Killer and Defend lines help.
Hey you are asking alot of questions (that’s good!) it would be difficult to answer all these questions in 1 video. This is my playlist

Trolling can be VERY useful in WvW. Once in your enemies mind you can control his movements and desires, you can choose where he goes and where he does not.

Glad you enjoyed it!

The more experienced players get, the more they seem to forget they all had to learn sometime
I am curious about your Siege instruction vid, would you mind posting it or send me a pm?
Will pm but just an FYI you can access all my vids from my signature link

It’s good that people make videos as this one, but the topic name was misleading as is the videos name as well.
“Tips to improve” sounds like there is some indepth tactics or such in the video, but actually it was all about supply effeciency. Also the video name is “The perfect team” while the video itself didn’t talk anything about the team outside of the size and maybe some activities teammembers can do.
And lastly, the video consentrated mostly around the Teams efficiency on taking supplies and hitting places and still it didn’t talk anything about WXP Upgrades! Why didn’t you talk about Supply Capacity or Supply Master, both are excellent tools when it comes to small parties becouse it allows a 5 man party to have 100+ supplies with them (if you count the Supply Masters lucky resupply trait).
So basicly the most efficient party size in the video discussed, wasn’t the most efficient for the job. It’s actually 5 person party with everyone traited into Supply Capacity, Mastery and relevant siege masteries to breach into towers and keeps. Also, not included was Guild Catapults, which are one of the most supply efficient siege to destroy towers. Yes, you mentioned about your other video about siege, but this piece of siege should have been said in the video because with 5 person having all 20 supplies you can make 4 of these things and just melt Wooden or Reinforced Hills outer and inner wall.
Oh my god thats a wall of text, Im sorry.
TL;DR
Title and Video names are misleading. The most efficient thing isn’t the most efficient. I’m glad you make videos like these for beginners, but maybe name them accordingly?
Here’s the funny thing, If you only have 400 pts I would not recomend getting the personal sup buff. While only my opinion I think it is a VERY poor way to invest those points until you have guard buffs and catapult buffs.
The things mentioned were fairly cheap and help the entire group (vs just 1 person being superman).
According to google a “tip”=“hint” and hint is defined as “suggest or indicate something indirectly or covertly”. I have indirectly suggested in the vid if you don’t have this buff than get it.
You suggesting the entire team run with the wxp sup buff tells me you probably have ALOT of wxp points, so precieving things from your stand point you expected more from the word “tip”. I have less than 400 pts and I don’t tell people how to spend their points as those decisions can be as personal as what weapons to choose.
Overall thx for the feedback, hopefully some of the players who watched the video and gained from it can come here to learn a little more. When you are making 5 min vids that can be seen by people not fully clear on WvW it can be hard to decide what to say now and what to wait for another episode for but no worries some of what you mentioned will come in later episodes.
TL;DR
Some of what video is missing will actually appear in other episodes. It’s hard to choose what to put in a 5 min episode.

Most of this video seems to be common sense knowledge…minus the art of war quote.
Yes, to anyone with the information it would look like common sense. If I know how to build a house and I pick up a book labeled “How to build a house” I should expect a great deal of info in this book to agree with what is already in my mind.
I am glad my information conquered with your reasoning
I have a video for siege basics (SERIOUSLY BASIC). People told me “know one needs that”, I make it perfectly clear at the start of the video that it is for peopel whoe have never used seige. While it isn’t a popular vid it has good audience retention and over 100 views. It was made for people who needed basics and they found it
Best of luck to you in WvW!

Makea build in spvp for wvw? Fail
agree. better off just using an online build editor.
the only thing spvp is good for in respects to wvw/pve is to test out what an 80 version of a class you’ve never played before feels like before you take the time to level it to 80.
Online build editors are not bad BUT it can be difficult to “feel” how something wors sometimes. For example, sigil of air has a % to proc and a cooldown, how much dmg/how often does it proc with my setup? I can test that in pvp and swap for fire and do an alomost side by side comparrison.
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
After a while you don’t really need the editor, it’s main use I found now is for guild builds but in general if you have all the gear + spare sets then you can just slap kitten together from your inventory while on the move depending if you want the 1v1 burst or be a 1vX survivalist ….. Assuming you can render enemies before the name tag shows up.
I try not to swap builds on the fly because I forget to change them back lol BUT I do change weapons depending on the situation (Take out focus when attacking towers for pulls)
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
I’ve played every class long enough to know how the skills and utilities are going to work. Now it is just a matter of min maxing stats which is something I can’t get from pvp.
I use build editors and then I try it out. I slowly replace gear until I find the right mix of damage and defense.
People that have played all classes def have an advantage! I guess this video wouldn’t help you out personally but if you didn’t have as strong a command of the traits available to all classes this video might have been more useful.
If anything you can always share it with new player guildies.
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
I almost always test my builds out in pvp on the NPCs just to see how it rolls before I break it out in WvW. once I get in to live WvW action I will tweak the build until it suits me. but then again I have never been one to follow the “meta”. I also tend to find a build that works and stay with it. My Engi has ran basically the same build for 2 years. although once apon a time my friend Zadarh did help me out with it abit :]
It’s been too long Azok. We will need to get together for some pvp soon (a duel or co-op)! See you in game!

Makea build in spvp for wvw? Fail
Definitely not a fail. Immediate free access to a healthy amount of runes and sigils. and (this is actually explained in the video) pve/wvw has an overwhelming amount of options, being forced to select only one stat combo shows an understanding of how your build and play style mesh together an can be modified in pve/wvw by subbing out one piece at a time.

TC is the havoc server of T1! Look at the info graphic from the last tourny, more bloodlust, more camp flips, more sentries than BG or JQ.
[Joy] is an EXCELLENT havoc guild and I belong to [Krew] another dedicated havoc guild.
[Hel] is a WvW guild (the will Guild Zerg) but they also have some GREAT havocers within their ranks.
I have a weekly show “Gw2 WvW Pro Tips” that is pretty much for roamers/havocers. Here is the latest episode.
(I came to TC from KN before the spring 2014 tournament and have no regrets)

Please fix at least for next year. Friends and I spent a good 15 mins flashing in and out hoping to meet up… it never happened but we noticed others doing THE SAME EXACT THING. Same names flashing in and out. Has Anet Issued me these new friends to compensate for my other friends?

Another video for those who want to learn to havoc
After you understand ppt (ep 3), map strategies (ep 4), and how to setup a proper ambush (ep 7) it’s important to grasp THE BEST PREDICTOR of your enemies movements… TIME!
The time is EVERYTHING!
What do you use to predict your opponents movements?

PU condi offers the best escapes and will allow you to kill almost anyone that isn’t smart enough to move out of your range.
I have a non-pu condi Mesmer build on my YouTube channel. It works nicely because some players think it’s PU but I can do a 5 clone shatter creating a 10 torment stack AOE. In the video you see me land it on a near full health guardian and he gets downed in like 4 secs.
http://youtu.be/htmaw1uSzKU
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
This is what I use and I love it. I can take down a healthy amount of thieves and plenty of rangers (there are so many now that I kill one in almost every video I do).
Build link is in the video description
On my channel I also have a (how to beat thieves) video you might want to check out.
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
In this Episode we combine map strategies (covered in ep 4) with some basic siege know how to carefully plan a trap.

Going out solo can be frustrating on T1. Even if you are a better player pound for pound you will rarely encounter a 1v1. I might ask in map if there are are others running havoc who have a spot in group (you said you play prime time).
I have a video on learning to fight while outmanned
http://youtu.be/F1nr5IpngTg
It won’t “fix” anything but it might get you enough space and time to port or wait for reinforcements.

“Who can it be now” by Men at work
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
Go condi, use staff, trait for extra bounce, hit the thief hard 1 time and let the staff clones do the rest.
If the staff clones start their attack before he stealths he is toast. Try to move close to him. The orb moves slow but will hit him, bounce off of you and hit him again.
3 clones attack + extra bounce = getting hit 6 times with winds of chaos
2 sec fire for at least 1200 dmg (and 600dps for fire is not hard to get)
2 (7) sec bleed for 1400 dmg (200 dps but thief will probably cleanse)
2 stacks of vuln
Once the thief sees you can hit him while he stealths he will probably run away.
My youtube channel is in my signature, I have a video of my current build and a video on how to fight thieves.
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
If you can’t beat em, join em.
My thoughts exactly! When ppl cry about thieves I’m always thinking “You know you can make YOUR OWN thief right?”
^perfect! :]
best party i had was 3 thiefs 1 necro and 1 mesmer, at the end the other players were only fighthing minions and could not target the small asuran players apearing and vanishing from nowhere.
call target + gank ftw.
It’s mean but if you all put on mad king outfits (or some other costumes) you could have all looked identical LOL!
Have you tried this?
https://www.youtube.com/user/SuperJunkShow
DnD are hardcore but hittng for 10k means u can drop like a fly, but being way too tanky means u do not really assist much. In the past, eles were scary beasts, today they are a nuisance though some are dung beetles.
Some are still beast. Ele just has a very high skill cap (but if you suck as an ele you will go down fast)

Is the OP asking a question?
If so, 1vX depends on your class and build type and the enemy you are fighting.
Best is 3v27 but that was in 2012
I remember glamour mesmer b4 the nerf! Entire zergs would fall to a handful of mesmers!
LOL i remember those days. Also miss the 1v4 ele days
IMO d/d ele’s are still hardcore! I’ve seen some hit for 10k/attack (might + dmg modifiers) and I’ve seen others that did crap for dmg but used water to keep a GC alive forever while the GC would rip everyone to shreds!!!!
