Please let us use the Moa Tonics, Steam Golem Tonics etc we use to get in Black Lion’s Chests to make Mad King Chests, pretty please with sugar on top.
If your like me when you bought the game you paid for loads of Black Lion Chest Keys, so out of them I got tons and tons of tonic potions, Moa Tonics, Steam Golem Tonics etc etc.
They have been lying on a bank char since the start of the game, could we please be allowed to use them instead of mystery tonics for the Mad King Chests ??
A friend of mine has been blocked by email authentication 3 times now, not just disallowed login but blocked so he has to open a support ticket every time. Could someone look into this for him please, he has made multiple support tickets and just isnt getting anywhere.
Toggle Option is best bet, I like it much better now, but respect some people like it. Make us all happy and give US the option
Ye this “cheating” way of getting to Lion’s Arch free is silly, cant we just have a decent free teleport please. Either to all capitols or just to Lion’s Arch
Ok so playing today I figured out the following:
Vampiric / Necro Trait = No Boost from any stat
All Necro Pets = No Boost from and stat
Altruistic Healing / Guardian Trait = Small boost from +healing power
Could we please, please have something small at the bottom of each skill/trait
that indicates what stat if any gives it a boost.
Simple Example:
Altruistic Healing:
Applying a boon to allies heals you
+healing
Tengu are an obvious choice, they look amazing and there could be an entire cloud city expansion, for a class I would like a monk, not a copy of the gw1 monk a brand new one. Could use fist weapons, staves etc. Some healing abilities etc like a mix between a guardian and a thief.
Yep, have had a similar experience, more than once, 2 nights ago was classic. We formed a group of 3, I sent out 3 or 4 /m messages asking: LF2M AC Exp. Excessive msg crap kicks in, my gf starts looking and not 2 min later she is also suppressed, luckily the 3rd guy got 2 of he’s guild mates to come along. Now in the dungeon we are doing fine, till the second boss, its the room that you control the traps, no waves spawn, so all the frustration to find a group was for nothing, at that point we had enough and logged. Today we logged in again and my friends email auth popped up, no biggy he clicked authenticate and bam, the server could not authenticate your login details so now he can’t play period until he has he’s account restored.
I’m just not playing any more, I can kick myself now for supporting them by buying £80 worth of diamonds for upgrades. Since there is no monthly fee I thought fine, Ill support my new MMO with purchases since I would have been paying more in a year if I was playing most other AAA mmo’s . I will pay those monthly fees ANYTIME not to have to deal with the shoddy codeing and new anti-bot system that f over everyone EXCEPT the bots.
How is this not fixed yet ?? We cruise trough the dungeon get to defend the collectors and insta gib, this can’t be hard to fix, hitbox=0.5 to hitbox =2.0 tada job done.

Tonics need a rework, it would be cool if you could AT LEAST JUMP with them, would make them fun to use for jumping quests, also when they fade off they could give you a minor buff or something. As is they are just taking up bank space and are useless even as “fun” items -_-
Didn’t fix much, guild bank is buggy now -_-
There was a lot of patching going on every day, are the devs doing bigger patches now or on a little holiday? Sure they need the break just curios
Engineers don’t like their turrets, Necro’s don’t like their minions and Guardians don’t like some of the spirit weapons. The root cause for all this is they do not gain stats from the player.
To explain clearly let me put it this way:
You level to 80 your turret, pet or spirit weapon does
900dmg
You upgrade your gear, enchant it all spend hours grinding and end result:
900dmg
At this point you realize “if you haven’t much much earlier” that all your other skills have gotten stronger and that the summon skills are now so underpowered as to be
virtually useless.
Same for turrets, they don’t use any of our stats at least the kits get the +power and +cond dmg, the turrets get NOTHING
do necro minions get effected from the necros stats.
Nope, neither do guardian spirit weapons or Elementalist Ele’s.
just dont use it ……
How about it gets fixed and we can all use it.
Why even bother with them at high level, they don’t scale with your gear, don’t believe me ? Check your spirit weapon dmg, remove ALL your gear…. believe me now ?
Yep any pet build is broken until our pets use some of our stats, till then they are pointless. Sad for a iconic pet class -_-

They need to scale with the player, right now they don’t in any way except your level, non-scaling skills are a big fail. Engineer turret, Necro Pets and Guardian Spirit Weapons don’t get any of your stats as a bonus and its moronic.

Mounts would be cool but doubt they will add them, if nothing else a price drop on using the ports would be a BIG help. Rip off at higher levels imo
+power increases dps on all your skills, except summon skills like Necro minions, engineer turrets etc, why they don’t I really dont understand. WTB Scaling plox
Mesmer clones get a bonus from +dmg, our minions don’t get anything from our stats, and we are the closes thing to a caster pet class -_-
+power increase minion dmg, +vit increases there hp, +toughness makes them…. tougher. How can they not scale with my gear its insane
They don’t scale AT ALL, far less useful with decent gear. +power and +cond dmg do NOTHING to them
Turrets become less useful as you gear up, make them SCALE UP with gear please.
You miss the point punny, whether you just dinged 80 or have farmed yourself stupid and running around in T3 your turrets will not get stronger, all your other abilities WILL. The higher level and the better your gear the worse your turrets will get
Fire elemental does not scale with +power or +toughness
All spirit weapons need to scale with gear, right now no matter your gear you get the exact same dps output from them. Failzor
The minions need to scale with gear, they don’t not at all. Try it remove all your gear and check your minion dmg, still the exact same -_-
Turrets should scale with your gear, flame turrets with +conditional and others with +power
Any chance of an official reply ? Is the current flat system just a place holder while you decide the extent of scaling or are we stuck with a whole list of skills that will just keep getting more and more useless
Add dmg/toughness scaling from gear to minions, turrets, spirit weapons and elementals, please. My only big issue, and its driving me nuts.
I’m not sure but I did here reports in BWE3 that engineer flame turrets got a boost from +condition dmg, can anyone confirm this ? If it was I have no idea why it was removed for release.
Exactly, even simple fixes like +power adds a small amount of damage to your pet, and/or +toughness makes your pet a little tougher. There is no way to justify a level 80 with full T3 gear and a newly dinged 80 having identical summons. Virtually everything in the game scales to some extent I don;t know how this was overlooked.
Even Elite Skills like mistfire Wolf don’t scale -_-

Necro Minions, Engineer Turrets, Elemental Elementals and Guardian Spirit Weapons don’t scale with your gear only your level.
Now having played all of there classes to some extent I can tell you its a raw deal. I don’t know what the idea was going in but I feel it was a poor (lazy) design decision. Its not very noticeable at the start but the higher level you get and the more effort you put into your gear the more useless these skills become. Am I alone in wanting a decent scaling system for anything summoned ?
One thing to remember is your minions only get stronger from your level not gear, ye you read that right, they don’t scale from your gear in any way, so if you do some trouble with your gear and “twink” yourself at all just dump the minions and play him like a area control / nuke caster, cause atm… your pet is a waste of space. Don’t feel alone, this same FAIL system also counts for the Elementalist pets, Guardian Spirit Weapons, Engineer Turrets and even the Delux Edition Ele Skill Mistfire Wolf.
Personally I find nothing more annoying than adding gems, adding +power and seeing a skills numbers do absolutely nothing.
Party members jump around on the map, can’t enter Personal Story with them , can’t join in there overflow instance. Any ETA when this crap will be fixed not just bandaged ?? Except for that I only want a couple more things:
1.Necro Pets, Guardian Spirit Weapons and Engineer Turrets should scale with gear, not just flat amount. (Most Important)
2. Experimental crafting should work out of bank (I believe they are close to adding this)
3. (Optional), Cheaper porting at high levels or mounts, prefer mounts but what
can you do, Anet don’t want mounts and I can live without em
4. Dueling FTW
does your turret scale with +power or +cond dmg or any stat? Necro pets dont and neither does guardian spirit weapons ans its stupid imo

Any idea why necro pets and guardian spectral weapons don’t scale with +power or any other stat ? Doesn’t this make these abilities useless in late-game ?

I like it but think they could leave you 2-5 levels above the content, good compromise imo.
I am a big fan of scaling in a game, it gives you something to work too, modifying your gear and then seeing a tangible change in your dmg or other aspect of an ability and for the most part I think GW2 has a good mix.
Problem comes in for me with pets and packs, necromancer pets don’t scale at all, nor do guardian spirit weapons and as far as I have heard engineer packs do scale from stats but have fixed weapon dmg. Doesn’t this trivialize these abilities at high level with maxed out gear ?
Sure you don’t NEED pets or spirit weapons but why put them in if they become trivial ? I think it would be cool if I had the option to build my necro with toughness gear and have tougher pets, or that my +power builds adds some dmg to them and their abilities.
Has there been anything from arenanet if this is intended or if it was just a quick fix for release to decide how much they need to scale ?
