Did you swap weapons beforehand and have the quick hands trait or whatever it is called?
I thought that the promotion of gems was tied more to the cost of the dust then to the gems themselves
I could be way of the mark here but…
I just chucked a build into gw2.skills and swapped in a scepter instead of axe as a range option.
It stated that axe with asc zerker was (2x) 322 (which i assume to mean 161 per axe hit) on a 1sec cast
whilst an asended zerker scepter was 147 (88 bleed) on a 1/2 sec cast
ascended sinsiter scepter was 147 (118 bleed) on a 1/2 sec cast
zerk axe = 322 /sec
scep =294 (+ whatever the bleed ends up being due to DoT)
I may have messed up my maths and someone can correct it, but it seems like based on AA alone sinister scepter already is better then axe.
Then again there could be an aftercast on scpeter making the attack rotation longer, i don’t claim to know this.
In terms of life force
axe 8sec cd for 12%
scep 10sec cd for 10% +2% per condi (max 5%)
Win seems to go to scepter (only in terms of LF, damage wise axe is higher 1.3k vs 1k (with 5 condis on target giving 7 torment stacks)
Otherwise 6% ferocity loss, but a small condi damage increase over all skills (chill, bleed, poison, etc.)
Please note: My thoughts are with PVE in mind and was just a quick thought with the change to boon corrption on auto, sinister scepter may out perform zerk axe for a range alternative.
Edit: to try to work out why it is underlining points. Can’t see a reason for it so underlined things are just random

scepter auto chain = The whole sequence takes 2.4 sec.
Axe auto = Attack speed is approximately 0.95 seconds per attack.

My biggest use for going Shiro is for the Jade winds skill,
Try pugging fractals and see how often you get people constantly breaking the bar.
Or if you have trash, get them stacked, cast JW and watch them melt.
Shiro in these cases gets used for the heal and JW and then gets swapped back to herald. Keeping Facet of nature up 100%. spamming the swiftness facet on cd as well.
Reafirming the answer to OPs original question FoN is used to increase all buffs applied whilst FoN is active by 50%.
If no chrono, and adequate might/boons from other sources, double tap F2 for the boons.

I wouldnt like to have red dots, as someone with a colour defficiency, I find the red things hard to see (eg red commander tag)
But i do have a gripe about not seeing the party member dots on the edges of the minimap anymore.

Just a FYI when these changes occur you will be running 3.0.3.0.3 meaning you still get teh full ‘6’ in arcana
whats the difference between the two?
Solo= 1
Havoc= 3-10
Zerg = 20 odd
Blob = 30- map cap
Or somewhere around those numbers
For gneral PVE play, I prefer to run with GS.
Reasons:
1. Maul (#2 skill), nice big damage hit that will semi autotarget even if you dont target a critter
2. Swoop (#3 Skill) nice movement and includes an evade
3. Counterattack (#4 skill) can be used as a 4 second block whilst running (great for skipping mobs with ranged attacks)
4. Hilt bash (#5 skill) a 1.5 daze/interupt is very handy
5. Lower learning curve than sword (can keep auto attack on and not worry about loosing stack spot or being able to dodge on command)
Even after all those points, i will still use s/(a/d/w) when the situation suits it.
My mistake, there is diminishing returns on the tokens as well.
So the 2nd time you do the same dungeon path you get 15 tokens, the next 10. (at least according to the wiki)
Each path will give you 20 tokens, and 40 bonus tokens, as well as possible another 9-12 from champs within the dungeon.
But you will only get the bonus reward once a day.
So you can do the 2 paths per day for 140 tokens or so a day.
And there isn’t aesthetically room for a third piece of information in that layout.

For me, the extra space there looks exactly like something to put “projected profit” into.
(Also, while making these images, I once again saw that having leading zeros would’ve been really good for improving clarity).

That would make me think about taking it over focus a bit, and if as mentioned in another thread that you can start #5 and then move and it still blocks (without the heal) then it is sounding better already.
My concern is related to the most important aspect of selling something for me… How much profit will I make. This picture doesn’t seem to show the profit.
I pug everyday and can concur with alot of the statements above.
Some hints when pugging and looking for a group to join.
It is often better to join a group doing multiple paths. Often “p1 80s” results in a better run then p1 zerker 80s speed clear..
I run cm 1,2,3 with my thief most days and can carry a group through that dungeon. I don’t see why people are so afraid of it.
As a party leader actually asking at the beginning if people don’t know the path and saying that you will explain, can increase the chances of a good run as it opens communication from the beginning.
It is amazing how a run can change by explaining one or two little things to other players or asking if they can use a certain skill in other situations.
But as always, it is the way you communicate that can make or break a party.
I have also pugged with Ivan and other members of leading Dungeon guilds. And when I run into them, it is often through more of a joke lfg topic.
AC is probably worst for pugs though. I would much rather carry a group in cm with thief or TA with guard then run AC with some groups.
i presume you mean account character slot for all gathering tools and salvage kits.
I would love to see the stats behind how many people have any combination of the tools/kits and how many have multiple vs none. I predict numbers of sales would go up if there was a character wide slot for tools & kit was added.
Im tempted to use it in a niche way in some dungeons/JPs, where normally it was only necro/ele/thief/mesmer that could blink up where you would normally have to run around.
Im tempted to try it to see if it would work in those instances.

I insist on a thief (or 2) and a mesmer for this part of CoF now.
This way, the thief and mesmer can run across, with invis and blink, and then i can be ported safely from one side to the other with only loss of life 1 in 3 runs now.
If you don’t bring a thief and mesmer to your runs, expect to have a hard time.

Spider queen – all the small mobs have projectiles, that poison adds up.
The 3 golems – have a projectile attack, and WoR can sometimes save a group from wiping if they lack damage
Golems in CoE, there are 3 golems that give projectiles (one definately has burning projectiles)
Wor is a very handy skill for guardian. Unfortunately ANet decided that some projectiles (eg, a bolt of something being thrown at you) are not classed as projectiles anymore. (Eg, Alphard in Arah, spider in TA)

We get it everytime one day later*.
*Nb, yes I know we get it physically the same time, but psychologically it is frustrating.

To me its a QoL change.
Its the same as it was before requiring a transmutation crystal to use a skin.
But now it is easier to preview these skins and apply them.
There is now also a use for the stack of transmutation shards(yellow ones) I had lying around.
You can apply the skin of a current item that might cost 20gc on multiple items for the cost of crystals that you might already have. (Eg, Lord T’s sword)
~ It is a QoL change with the advantage of gaining nice skins that are already on your current toons without having to buy a new item
I was happy before and am still happy.
Personally, I think that they shouldn’t include legendaries in the list of allowable skins.
I don’t have one, but would like one and I can see people getting together in a group, buying one item and sending it between friends, or onselling.
It would surely devalue the effort of legendaries
My thoughts about the legendary issue follow on from the others here.
I wonder how it will affect the costs of legendaries, I can see a demand for tradeable weapons just to unlock the skin and then resell.

Ok, so it may not have been one line of code to do it.
Actually couldn’t it just be one line eg.. The following file lists what items are in a black lion box. remove the line out of that list and the item doesn’t drop. (The only programming I have to base it off is using matlab)
It would still be nice to know when there are changes implemented.
And most document files are only a few kb. Or is the way the .dat file is structured on our computers require a larger chuck of a file to be downloaded to implement the changes?

As has been said a number of times that seems to be forgotten.
It is a situational trait.
For instance: running a dungeon/champ farming/zerging (basically all PVE content), you use PoV throughout for running. Get to the boss, if he doesn’t give any/many conditions, then swap out for the extra 3k hp, otherwise keep your PoV. Simple.
Who knows, the meta may change with the rest of the new traits (unlikely but possible)
Edit: Oh and there was a note in the news article about Guards getting more emphasis on burning damage/skills does that sound better or worse than 3k hp to you?
Was just using it with a staff on trash mobs and it healed enough, but haven’t tried it enough in other situations
