I have to agree….I hope anet looks into this. Its difficult to gain it with a hammer and then all is gone in a couple of seconds. No problem if its an axe and traited for it…..but traiting for hammer, its difficult.

PVT amour, rune of traveller and Berserker trinkets (or knight trinkets).
Elixir B, Grenade, and Bomb Kit. You can change bomb kit to Throw mine because the Mine Field toolkit is very powerful. I only use the Grenade Barrage and almost never the Grenade kit itself.
Constantly swap between rifle for skill 3 and 5 and bomb kit. And you have infinite swiftness and vigor. The “evasive powder keg” gives the extra punch when you dodge and the forceful explosive keeps your bomb in damage radius after your dodgy. Without it…sometimes you are out of range after a dodge.
You can almost never die at all. I have gone pass all those full DPS berserker nonsense that people come out with and captain obvious of try not to die, dodge only the important ones, etc…etc..blah..blah. At the end of the day, when you are down (full zerk, dps build), your total dps will be less that one that didnt go down.
Can the dev allow us to cancel a revive instantly by just using our movement keys instead of having to do a dodge to break it off?
yes…they broke it. I am sometimes selling stuff at the wrong price. Doesn’t register the correct values when you input the number and so on. You have to do it really slowly and sometimes it takes like 5-10 mins just to clear one character. I don’t know why they keep touching this black lion trading GUI. Just leave it alone for goodness sake.
yes please…..i dont understand why sometimes when i detonate my flame blast ball…its out of reach when clearly it is within reach or nothing happens. Also, the smoke vent, please increase the radius. I find most of the time its barely working and i know for a fact the enemy is within the 130 range but yet nothing happens. looks like i just farted and got killed for it.

Anyone has any idea how to do temple runs now? Since ANET screwed it up after the patch, how do you guys keep track on the temples? Its always opened and I have only done twice since post patch and that was just by luck I happened to be there.

I log on using character A and see mel. But I have done mel already on this character. I relog on with character B. What do I get? Twilight zone. The temple has no activity whatsoever. This is irritating.

I want to ask…when i guest in blackgate server to do my pve stuff, am i really in blackgate? Reason I ask is I dont see many people. Infact, I see like 10% less people. Following the world boss time, I am running from WP to WP seeing if there is anyone doing them and there arent. I dont understand whats going on and still trying to figure it out. I say at this point, my satisfaction and motivation for this game is almost zero.
I will still be logging on into the game the same amount of time. But as with the word “play” more?…..i am not too sure, but I will be standing around more often. Is that considered “playing”?
The thing is, ANET will not change for a specific group. Sure your proposal fixes issues on your EU players, but that representation is most probably at most, 20% of total players. The think is, the time synchro event should be totally eliminated. There are an extremely large amount of people that play this game at their own free time. It should not be turned into a game where I am forced to play it when ANET wants me to play. And by play, I mean not running around doing unsubstantial events.
Here is my 2 cents worth.
The pve side of things have be totally ruined. I log on now to stand around waiting for something to happen. And if nothing happens, I continue to stand around. Is there an achievement for loitering/standing?
Is there anything substantial that I can do when i log on? Please do not ask me to water the plants for Farmer Diah in Shaemoor Fields.
WHY ANET? My only source of income is gone. Life is not worth living anymore. But seriously, this was not even clear in the patch notes. This patch went ahead without the approval of the community. I’m sure this is devastating to everyone! How can anet change something so drastic and not ask the community how they would feel about the train being removed. This change is so drastic, it needs democracy and opinions of others.

This new megaserver time synchro have ruined the game me. I am not very motivated to continue anymore.
I am totally disappointed. We now sit around doing nothing, waiting for the timer. I used to enjoy chasing after world bosses and can play without stop for a couple of hours.

Wanna ask, if SSigil of Air base damage is 955 and cooldown is 3 sec. Because i crit ever so often, …say the maximum time the lighting strikes is every 4 sec, would not this make SSigil of Air better then SSgil of force’s 5%?
I just want to say is that when people talk about how players should into building their character more diversely……aka build diversity, I have to just say they are NUTS. The game ultimately is killing the enemy soonest. Not running around with stupid build diversity. At this point, ANET cannot even fix some characters shortfalls. Whatever it is, the character build will move towards a more common build in a matter of time. Meaning, people will evolve their build and in 6 months down the road, the problem will surface again. The game should have been designed from the beginning with each race and profession having some serious advantage and disadvantage over the other. Not a general mathematical formula applied across the board.
I have to disagree when you say that, ultimately, combat boils down to killing an enemy the soonest. Grammar aside, I think you are trying to say that combat is meant to be an endless speed run. I feel this is a very limited view on how players interact with combat. Defeating your foe is indeed the goal of engaging in combat (most times) but what if you want or need to delay your foe? What if you want to control enemy placement on the battlefield to take pressure off of a team mate or perhaps the battle calls for turning a foe into a pawn out of necessity? Combat can be and currently is about more than aiming for highest dps. Even with the zerker meta, there are more factors to surviving than killing your enemy as fast as you can. The issue Anet is attempting to address is how heavily those other factors are weighted in combat and what contributes to or detracts from them with regard to the tools (stats, traits, etc.) professions have available to them.
Some players are happy with the current meta and those players will move on to whatever they view as most efficient in any balance scenario you can dream up. For everyone else, they want if not need options on how to achieve a win in a fight to enjoy combat or at least stay sane. Consider that.
Speed runs if that is what people call it, I just call it winning the fight. Pure and Simple. If you wanna run piddling around, so be it. Like I said before, the game ultimately is to win. Build diversity at the end of the day is how you intend to play your character. Bottom line is, you down your enemy soonest. You want to take heat off your teammate, pound the enemy. You want to win the game, you kill them. But it irritates me that people shout “greater build diversity”, “everyone is using grenades” or “most people are using axe”…etc. WTF….If they wanna run around naked, let them be. really?..i use a mace as off hand…..but i am trying out axe as offhand. the warrior running 100+ crit damage and lotsa fury equates to massive dps.
I’ve always been of the opinion that nerfs/buffs should be done in small increments and not all at once; clearly my opinion does not intersect with reality…
I feel like they keep caving in to the forum/E-Sports crowd way more than they should. Not that good ideas don’t occasionally come from those groups, it’s just that throwing them all into one patch leaves so many ways for things to go wrong.
I would much prefer a small balance patch every 2 weeks than one giant one every few months. That way if the Healing Signet nerf alone wasn’t enough THEN you take away the regen from Dogged March. Not to mention that supposedly big rune changes are coming and if Lyssa gets hit hard then Warrior’s sustain will take another big hit.
I’m looking at running something like this if these notes are true. Not really sold on Bolas and I may end up needed Signet of Stamina but this will let me still throw down a lot of control just in a different form. Also, with the buff to Shield Master and with Dolyak Signet I’ll have some good toughness even with Zerker gear (shame those bonuses don’t stack with Armored Attack). Between that and having a block hopefully I’ll maintain decent sustain. The problem is I won’t be able to deny stomps as often with no hammer.
EDIT: I guess one benefit is that we’ll hopefully get less people overblowing how powerful Warrior is…but then again probably not. Some won’t be satisfied until we’re back to being free kills like at launch.
You realize that Dogged March was basically a better (in all ways lower tier grant regeneration) version of an elemenalist trait (master tier not adapt)

YOU CANNOT DIRECTLY COMPARE TWO TRAITS/SKILLS/ATTACKS ON TWO DIFFERENT CLASSES!
Each class has many different factors to take into consideration when talking about balance. For example, Warrior’s have high HP/Toughness/Regen but have very little to no access to Protection/Evades/Stealth/Etc. Something that’s balanced on one class would be wildly OP if it was the same on another class. Comparisons like yours prove nothing when talking about balance.

Keep your distance. I play staff 30/30/0/0/10 all berserk with scholar rune. I’m not even a glass canon. I am far more fragile then that, but I can pound the mobs stupidly and maybe die once in the entire 50min
Yea….what about the video. I do that too…but my build is one far more fragile then a glass canon. Mine is a snowflake cannon. Does that make it unfair?

Me not being the only one and the fact that I can get the next one is NOT a solution. In fact, it just means its a problem that needs to be looked into thoroughly.
Why is there this persistent problem when suddenly all your skills stop working? You press all the numbers or click to acivate them and they blink but nothing happens. You need to get out of the game and back again for it work. It darn annoying because when you get back into the game, you are put into overflow and you dont get your chest.
Thats the problem people dont understand. We stand at melee range thus we need to do more damage. If range characters do almost the same damage as warriors, then screw having a warrior in the first place. Also, doing damage like these mean we are very squishy. You can do the same with range characters. Both my rangers and engineers run full zerk and 30/30/-/-/- setup. They dont do damage like a warrior, but i am in a very save zone away from potentially massive hits and radial AOEs from bosses. So please, spare yourself the embarrassment by at least comparing apples to apples.

There are no 5-10 seconds fights in pvp.
How often in sPVP are you fighting alone? You should be moving in pairs at minimum. If you go off running alone, then you deserve to be dropped in less then 5 secs.

The warrior is a dramatically easy to play character, he tanka, so no need to dodge or flee himself with build tank, weapons sledgehammer and bow are absurdly strong, defeating any opponent regardless of the character in the 1×1, the sledgehammer stuns for an indefinite period so that you can defeat your opponent with only a few skills without having to change weapon, the bow besides causing much damage condition is in the area, do not have much time to recharge, and the damage is too absurdly high compared with the other characters as thief, ranger, elementalist, mesmer among others, it is a natural tank and absurd dps, briefly, all players play with this character ridiculously easy and devaluing power over the other characters that are more balanced, concluding, should nerfado be urgently!

Dev need to check this issue.
1. Engineer running HGH and elixirs
2. The might duration from HGH does not increase when using might duration runes.
3. Might duration from HGH only increases with boon duration runes or platinum doubloon.

i run the 30/25/0/0/15 full zerk with scholar when roaming pve. However, for dungeon, it depends on your guildmates and most importantly the server latency. No offence, but people telling you to learn to dodgy is a stupid advise. Obviously 100% players would dodge if they could (equivalent of telling you “dont get hit”). But you really need a guardian in your party to survive harder, if not you will be down often enough making you a overall weak dps character. Many people will disagree, but that is fine with me, is that I run with a longbow for instances where the attack timing has gone outta whacked and I still want to contribute some damage for the party from a distance before going in again. If traited carefully, you can really tough and still give out decent dps (not great..but decent)
i run full berserker 30/30/10/0/0 and i still think the overall damage of the ranger should be up at least another 15%. I also think that piercing arrows should be put to adept or should by default pierce.
how do you even maintain above 90% health to maximise the scholar runes. Within 10 secs you are already below the 90%. This is why i dont agree with scholar runes. I used them tho on the ranger.
As for the lag, we have a constant 400-600ms ping with spikes up to 1500ms. If its a kitten day, we can have like 3 sec of pauses. I dont think your european guild mates experience such lags.
Comments well taken. But hey…most peoples meta doesnt mean its meta for yourself. I like my build…infact i love it. Given my connection in Asia Pac, its the most fabulous build i have experimented. As for the axe, i tried so many times, but i just dont feel it. I used it so many times, but i still go back to the GS. Bow is always handy when those spike lags can totally mess up boss fight sequence big time and reading their AOE can be impossible. I think having near perpetual elite signet out weights having all ruby orbs or scholar and the banner cooldown is because it allows me to shorter battle standard if required. Again, i wish i could experience low latency gaming with gw2.
I personally play 20/25/0/10/15 on full berserker. I wear runes and one platinum doubloon that gives me 59% boon. On Discipline, I go for reduce signet cooldown instead of the usual 25% movement speed. On tactics, which give me boon duration of another 10%, i select inspiring banners. This gives 1/2 sec cooldown on my elite signet which puts me warrior at a consistent 95% critical chance and since i am all berserker, my critical damage is 80%. If needed, i can put down a discipline banner that pushes my critical damage to 95%. So, the up time of all these is very long. 1/2 sec cooldown on elite signet and 6 secs cooldown on disipline banner. To me, i think this is the best PvE setup. I run GS and bow. Bow is used in situation when i cannot melee at that moment.

Nice. This is what happens when you get a good connection. When i do it, i get smacked with massive damage eventhough i am clearly behind it , but kitten server think i am still infront or side. And 100b doesnt connect and that idiots goes charging off somewhere and gets its entire health regen.
uh?….You dont expect to just hit button “1” and magic happens right? Even warrior or other professions need to blow off their professional mechanics to down someone.
I have mentioned it before long time ago that when i do earthshaker, the next hit rarely connects. Thus wasting the entire 2 secs of stun.
Democracy is a two edged sword. Every statement has a counter statement. Like I said, after selecting one character to take down, we are very much weaker. So, if you are the unlucky one, then thats it. I play engineer and ranger in WvW too, but i learn to keep my distance. I dont always need to get kills, but its just as fun pounding enemies from afar and providing support. But when I see a warrior coming for me, I ran because I know my character has a much slimmer chance against him. LIke I said, if you go one on one with a warrior, you will bound to lose.
Actually….we really like the way the warrior is now. Of course we whine when the warrior gets nerfed…..after range characters who do not know how to keep their distance and expect to have a chance against a powerful melee character whines first because they do not understand how to play their character or are playing it wrongly.
So having said that, we can also turn around and tell other classes to learn and enjoy it better and correctly and should not just drop a “warrior needs a nerf!!!!” everytime they are downed by a warrior because they let him get to near.
