Why? I get in game to get a few things done and blow off steam.the conversation would just be “Hi” followed by a “Hello” and then on to business as usual.the action is fast paced and lends no time to standing around slinging idle chatter.besides ,why talk when i wont see you again anyways-ill go up to the pub and chat with some honeys if i get lonely.Also i have exhausted that aspect of the game ,the chat,since i have been doing it since UO and DAoC-its just boring now

You are sadly terribly wrong. According to Blizzard’s own statements, 90% of the new player base in Vanilla were not Starcraft or Diablo players. In fact, during BlizzCon 1 there was a panel on this (in the Starcraft track) that revealed that WoW polled extremely unfavorably among SC players for its lack of balance and equal footing in PvP.

Our shortbow damage has been nerfed by over 30%.

I only get about 10-12 hours a day to play GW2 so it works out great for a guy like me,i can log on,get my snacks set up and get something done.My hardcore buddies have left though saying they have finished and need new content.they will be back im sure someday once something like raids are added.anyways,great job to anet and thanks for a great game from an aging mmo vet

With the family and my work schedule as it is GW2 works out incredibly for me. When i finally get on i actually have fun and get a few things done.I have played MMO’s since UO and DAoC and too many others to mention and just dont have the 10+ hours a day anymore.It is worth every penny and much more,i would pay a sub.I am used to heavy grinding also from DAoC/Lineage 2 so this game is cake : ). also,at the rate i play it due to a busy schedule content will roll in faster than i can do it,ive burnt out on a million games trying to play them 10+ hours a day.

Bots have always and will always be around to infest MMO’s. It is what it is and nothing can change that.

It’s been suggested—strongly, at times—that I overuse the em dash in my writing. Me, I have lots of significant breaks in thought. And I don’t like periods much. Thus, the em dash has always been my friend, even before I knew what it was called.

The ones that, if you notice, tend to be a kittenoppy and hurky-jerky at times, because that’s what comes across as funny.

OP is right, the game’s dead, I got everything I want. WvW is not rewarding, killing invaders/taking keeps etc does not give me anything. Atm WvW is just for the sake of zerging and ‘fun’…
sPvP is as it is, but I’m not interested in it, because it’s completely separated from the rest of the game.
Dungeons are useless.
The trailers, interviews and articles before launch all said there’s gonna be a bit of everything: PvE, large scale and small scale PvP, smth for the ‘grinders’ etc.
Yet it was all a big pile of kitten. Not arguable just a fact. PvE and WvW endgames are all down to ‘fun’, they offer no further progress and no rewards. The game’s absolutely useless after a few weeks. All that is left or reroll or go sPvP.‘’Well the end game in GW is no different then the end game in most other MMOs, but instead of grinding raids (because GWs doesn’t have ones) you can grind dungeons, grind world events or grind PvP.’’
Have you even played this game ?? You can grind all of that but for what purpose ?
People don’t understand the fact that they give NOTHING. Karma, badges, tokens are all worthless. Karma only used for legendary weapon basically, badges same, unless people actually go for the armor/weps (lol), dungeon tokens are for skins, and I got 2 sets, im done.The endgame is very different from other MMO’s as there is no endgame besides sPvP, and that’s not really endgame either, sPvP is like a seperate game and you can do it since level 2.
so dont play? noone is forcing you to.see ya

Tera 50% of staff cut, going F2P servers went from 35 to 3.
The Secret World Lead 2/3 co-creators gone. staff cut 50% going F2P
Rift is hanging in there barely the other 3 have failed in and or around 6 months.
