really dude? you think some1 with a 1k+ dollars pc doesn’t know about updating drivers? Its the engine problem, not drivers or amd/nvidia/intel problems, its their outdated engine that can’t handle anything and took them 1 years to even remove culling. It has nothing to do with motherboard either. I have a p8p67pro (~200$ back when it was released in 2011), run everything perfectly but gw2. Anet optimized their game worst than the S.T.A.L.K.E.R team in Kiev with absolutely no budget, talk about a LOL.

5-10sec rupts, bows not sucking but most importantly build. In gw2 there’s not variety, in gw1 i was still making great builds after 5 years of play time. Their unswappable weapon skills system SUCK!

What i would suggest

First and the most important thing for me would be increase arrow velocity so you could hit people at long rages while they’re moving.

Skills

Long Range Shot: Increase its attack speed a little more (i don’t want SB speed but it still feels a little too slow)

Rapid Fire: Channeling time decreased to 3sec instead of 4 1/2

Hunter’s Shot: perfect as is

Point Blank Shot: perfect as is

Barrage: completely removed from LB skill set and put on the utility list. They added a little more survivability with stealth but i feel like this bow needs some kind of evade. So i’d suggest replacing Barrage with Burning Arrow: Set your target on fire for 3sec and evade attacks for 1/2sec, base damage would be low (same as Hunter’s Shot) and have a 13-15sec CD.

Now, im not saying to completely remove Barrage from the game, its good at tagging, but i DO NOT want to ‘waste’ a weapon skill for it, when Barrage is very situational. If Barrage was an utility, all you had to do is equip a bow (LB or SB) to use it, if you had it equipped but have a sword in MH, barrage would be blocked as some skills are underwater until you switch for a bow.

They are on par with GW1 We just got minis or tunics in GW1. This is actually better as we get a booster and a Scroll of Experience.

You must be joking… In gw1 you had multiple minis, always at least 2 per year going way over 100k AND they were all sellable. Here you will be stuck with an acc bound mini (yet another one… as if we don’t have enough of these), a scroll LOL and a booster~~~~a booooooster haha

hard to say, i skipped every single lol cutsceen in the main campaign.

Here’s why. The 20 points in dueling tree are a no brainer, every single one of them is essential.

-Critical Infusion is amazing and for 5 points is a given.
-Phantasmal Fury is great especially for power/crit damage builds and shouldn’t be ignored.
-Sharper Images is,,,, sharper images, a great trait.
-Deceptive Evasion is the absolute best and worth spending 20 points just for it.

Now in Illusions. Sure not everyone ALWAYS spend 30 points for Illusionary Persona but lets be fair here, its the best grandmaster trait from any tree on mez… Additional damage, 1 more sec of distortion (life savior), more stacks of confusion and one free 1sec daze, 5 more stacks of Vulnerability (if speced with Dazzling ) not to mention faster CD on all your shatter is kinda guuud. At the end, you’re left with 20 points -.- and lots of builds can be made with 20 points… Anyone else thinks mez is way too limited to build variation? No wonder almost everyone run 20/20/0/0/30.

This wouldn’t be a problem if we had free allocation of traits.

Got to 68% and i think if i do another percent i will blow my head with C4. They should give you three free legendary weapons for mapping this boring world.

mf in dungeons is the worst idea ever, draw out the dungeons so they take even longer still receive fail loots such a waste of time. Only real way to make money is to farm events in Orr, I’ve probably ran over 500 dungeons and have yet to receive 1 exotic gear. And now with fotm and Acension gear i have to run 1 dungeon repeatedly because its the only place in game where i can get that gear? what is up with that who thinks of this stuff seriously……….. I had such high hopes about gw2 but now im thinking i wasted my time and shouldve chosen a different game , one where im not limited to farming orr or running fotm. so disappointing

Fixing something like preventing players from damaging the final seal directly in cliffside fractal is a much easier task than trying to figure out root cause of DCs.

Obviously the DC issue is a much larger and frustrating concern – but I image it’s also a complex one to resolve. No, it didn’t make it into this patch, but I would rather they take their time and ensure it is truly fixed than rush something that may cause other unintended issues afterwards.

If there was no wvw at least 50% of people currently playing would have left the game already because if you don’t like spvp there’s nothing you could be doing in the passes 10 months.

Tbh molten facility was pretty good (and i’m one of those who asks for challenging content, but still better MF then nothing) but this is just a joke, and pretty bad/bugged one too.

The one we got today (which anet calls as a dungeon), what exactly is this supposed to be? Its a tiny room with one enemy, wtf? Its so disappointing when they give us crappy stuff like that and nothing is done to current fractals or a brand new dungeon. Is a brand new dungeon in 9 months too much asking?

I believe it would require way too much work, because you’re in a completely different setup on the mists and it could be hard for them to separate and make it work like WvW. But yeah… If they could make it happen for guys who want that, it’d be good for them.

Since it is cosmetic it would take too much effort for literally no reward. When so many other issues are needed for PvP that require coding I wouldn’t want any developers time taken up with this idea.

Ranger. If you vote for any other classes you haven’t played the game or all classes. People call warrior as the worst but its the best in pve so it cannot instantly become the worst just because they aren’t very good in pvp. Ranger can’t kill **** in pve, had two builds in pvp and now you’re left with…….. Greatsword, yay.

I don’t know about alts but when it comes to builds there’s nothing to kill, build variety is none existent.

Lornar’s Pass. This place looks nice and wish there was something to do in that zone so more than 3 persons visited it every week.

To me it’s a little odd why the refresh needs to be so long. If the buff just keeps on applying itself, couldn’t they just lower the refresh rate?

So instead of applying it every 12s, it would apply every 3s or something? That way you could still have an occassional illusion missing the buff, but the rate at which the buff gets applied will be a lot faster.

Ofcourse giving them the buff at the same time they’re created would be a LOT better. But if that proves to be technically impossible, shortening the refresh rate should at least make the signet perform a little better.

why would we need to wait any kind of refresh rate? You’re running the sig to give your illusions more health, if it fails to do so then its a waste of utility slot even if refresh rate is 2sec. Should be instant as you’re equipping signet of domination.

You still have the amazing Scepter tho! Join as a Scepter mesmer and wand gates for maximum usefulness!!!!! Mes is my only character at lev80 on which i’ve spent over 800h and with boring kitten leveling/empty zones i’m absolutely not planing to make another level 80 character so wvw is completely dead for me now, very nice anet, i like!!

yeah decreasing their drop rate is like deleting them completely. Drop rare is extremely low and setting it even lower would be like gambling a precursor in mystic toilet

I find it useful and convenient so those two factors don’t bother me. I’d rather do without the sound effects though but at least they are only every 10-15 seconds or so.

You received 1 million mystic stones from AP for mystic salvage kits and you call this overpriced crap useful?

It is useful in the sense that you no longer need to remember to ever buy a basic kit ever again. You also don’t need to carry multiple basic kits with you either (for those long farming runs).

This is called “convenience”, and convenience is useful. Convenience is also rarely profitable, so the fact that this kit technically is profitable (granted, over such a long period of time that it isn’t likely to be profitable) makes it ever so slightly more useful.

The question is not whether it is useful, the question is whether you value the convenience enough to warrant a purchase.

You appear to not. I also do not. Some players do. Those players will be funding the game this time around and you and I will to play for free because of it. The next item may wind up being our turn to fund the game. Who knows?

But how is buying a salvage kit or mining tool a problem or annoyance? You’re visiting a merch to sell your crap constantly… If its too hard for some1 to double click and buy a new salvage kit/mining tool, that’s extremely lazyness and its not like anet is selling them for cheap, they’re charging $10… If you bought the kit and all three mining tools that’s $40, enough to buy another copy of the game. This kit is even more useless than perma mining tools were and that is saying a lot.

1. You need to get from 400 to 500 with T6 and their prices are on the rise right now
2. One of the ingredients is gotten by salvaging level 80 exotics and has only a rare chance to drop.
It’s just simply not worth it. I’m tired of time gate and I’m tired of RNG. Why can’t we have karma and dungeon tickets like we used to? Why can’t we get new dungeons to earn ascended items in?

The game is a mess on most fronts. From SPvP, WvW to the PvE side. Not properly tested updates and badly designed content is running rampant.

No one is saying the game is perfect, but as far as MMOs go, for some of us, this is the best that’s out there. It may not make it a great game, but it does make it the only choice in MMO for some people.

I worked on a forum for quite a while…well over a year. And during that time, the negative posts came to outnumber the positive posts. So much so that the positive people left. Many of them are still in my guild, they just avoid the forums. Why? Because they enjoy the game but don’t need the drama.

Forums are here for people to come and vent on. Every MMORPG forum I’ve been on has an excess of negative posts, including WoW. The forums being negative means nothing.

I said in two years you’ll still be here saying this stuff, and the game will still be going along fine. Year one is coming up and if anything the game is picking up steam.

I like the game, playing it every day and probably have x2 or more the amount of hours you have, so yes, i like the game ty come again. What i want is for it to get better so i have a good time in a month, 6 months or years. What you want is for gw2 to stay as is because everything is swell for your liking.

Don’t worry, this is exactly the kind of content i expect anet to add over something like their first challenging dungeon. Expect panties and bikinis of all kind of colors ranging from 400-800gem in about 3 months.

They broke our pet’s burst, broke our SB attack speeding and gave us the reason saying it was bots fault LOLOL, broke SB even more with that 900 range, removed out 2sec of quickness for 5 tp and is now 30 but hey! we got an underwater patch that made us better. that’s anet for you.

Sadly i think we’re stuck with their mini jumping puzzles for the next couple of years until they see their fanbase significantly decrease, then an expansion will be announced and released.

Fixing thief 101

1- Increase HS initiatives to 4 (don’t remove its leap finisher as some suggested cuz that’s too much). This isn’t just for BP/HS spam but also for spam itself.

2- CnD initiatives increased to 7, can’t CnD on pets (clones and of that crap), damage decrease to spvp level.

3- Black Powder- you can only apply stealth once per black powder (3sec and 4sec if traited), stealth not stackable.

4- When attacking from stealth and the attack is missed/blocked, it should apply reveal and this goes to all classes

5- (cry me a river about this one, bro) Give a 5sec reveal after attacking from stealth, give a 1sec reveal after stealth ends even if not attacking from stealth.

No cries about thieves anymore and only baddies that can’t play their own class will come here to complain.

There’s no such thing as condi phantasm. iMage and its crappy 3 stacks of confusion does nothing. iDuelist is the only that could be considered a condi phantasm but that requires a certain trait which nullifies this as a condi phant. But wait! we have iWhaler left!!! who cares, its an underwater skill.
