Removed from auto attacks that is. This mechanic doesn’t fit auto’s at all. I’m fine if they keep it in the game but remove it from our auto attacks and give us a fixed damage at any range (mainly talking about rangers LB skill 1 and Spatial Surge). Let it be on utilities and other weapon skills that have a CD so this mechanic could be use strategically as it should.

For all the FPS hungry people out there, I would suggest going out and mowing a few lawns on weekends, save up your money and buy a decent graphics card—Nvidia GTX580 or higher.
That’s funny because i have 570 overclocked way passed the stock 580 performance and i still get poor fps. But here’s better, i have a friend who has two 680’s playing in SLi and guess how much fps he’s getting in wvw? 20 lol exactly like me. I know its been said that anet optimized the game couple of times but its certainly not noticeable… Why do i lose 20fps by turning reflection on? Maybe losing 5fps would make sense but 20 is just funny and extremely poorly optimized. This game isn’t even tessallated/DX11 and runs so poorly, what a shame.

GW1 was aimed at gamers. GW2 is aimed at dude-bro gamers. If they ever release a half challenging dungeon its probably gonna be in expansions and hype it as a 2nd coming of jesus even though it should’ve been in the game since day one BECAUSE ITS AN MMO…

Skills and FA kept me playing for five n a half years, so yes i would like the 1000+ skills but this won’t happen and i’m 99.9% certain because of that reason i won’t last much over a year in this game.

this is why so many are asking themselves why is the whole map so fluffy, happy and ready for festivals. Its like there’s nothing serious happening EVER. This game is rated T for teen while there’s tones of games rate E for everyone that are much more serious and not as kiddy. If i had to guess, i’d say this game (by that i mean the quests/story/LS/npcs and not gameplay itself) is aimed at 8-14y olds. Even a 16y old would laugh at quests such as picking up snowballs and throw them at npcs, its mediocre.

I don’t think anet understands what’s good or better loot means. For example, why the hell are we getting a guaranteed rare from world bosses when its only once per day? Give us an exotic, how is an exotic too much when there was so many in the last halloween’s mini dungeon? TP is destroying reward system because they’re scared it may kitten up the economy… how about giving us reward, like you know, an rpg? I haven’t beaten the new Teq (tried three times all epic failures) but if, i repeat, if reward is in greens/blues after beating him once im gone and will never bother again.

Hate to break it to ya but this isn’t a theory its a fact, Champion farming will be nerfed, its a guarantee. Look at Cursed Shore, used to be a fun place to farm and hang out with lots of different event chains to do, but Anet saw too many players making descent gold and nerfed the place into oblivion, same will happen with champions.
its anet, someone even bringing the “tin foil hat” to the subjects is ignorant, knowing how much they nerf their own game that took them years to build. In gw1 the main thing they nerfed to the ground were skills, in gw2 they nerf absolutely everything nerfable.

you aren’t suppose to farm in this game but stand in LA, buy gems with dollars and trade them for gold, then buy your crap from TP. They won’t tell you this but that’s how it goes and only reading myself makes me…

I won’t comment on anything but mesmer cuz its not the classes i play but i can assure you that no one will bother with Mantra of Concentration even after patch. Who in their right mind will waste an utility slot for 2sec of stability x 2? Increase stability duration to a minimum of 5sec for this thing to be worth running and even then it’ll be very situational.

why don’t they just let us buy ascended stuff off of TP? You know its just an item… items are sold on TP. Their laurel/relics and tokens in general mechanic suck in my opinion.

You play the game, earn money like in rpg, you spend money to buy gear, you sell gear you got and don’t like/need. What’s the problem? I could sell everything in gw1’s spamadan… TP has a ******** tax and tones of stuff aren’t even sellable, wtf if u ask me.
First, we can probably expect each piece of ascended to be ~5-10x the price of an exotic. Casuals will have difficulty attaining that. With people already complaining about vertical progression, it’s only natural that the same people would complain about P2W.
Well, if you’re a casual then go play in masterwork gear lol not anyones fault you’re casual. Exotic accessories cost a lot because they require ectos/ori. Ascended doesn’t require anything but spam fotm dailies. I mean you can buy a freaking legendary off TP but not a ring hahaha what a joke.

GW2 has no dungeons. its more like time challenges with poor reward at the end. A true dungeon is yet to be seen in this game.

As far as I know, phantoms don’t benefit from sigils. They do benefit from some base stats though. I know power, precision, vitality and condition damage for certain. I don’t think they inherit toughness but I’m not sure.

liadri is harder because fps amd camera angles are inacceptable. Took me about one hour n a half to beat the tower jumping puzzle, tried liadri ~20 times and stopped because i can’t handle a fight like that in 20fps and camera that zooms on my character * constantly. Anet, learn to create challenging content instead of adding gimmicks that messes up our vision (seen in the jumping puzzle and liadri) and unplayble fps. Since fps isn’t getting better and reward is just an ugly mini with 20 achievement points i won’t even bother on her again. I loved the idea of an arena tho. It would be great if we had a large arena with 60fps, better camera cuz it would be much larger arena and you fight against harder n harder foes, can also do it in a team of 2. <——- i want this!

Most people still don’t even have a high definition monitor with their PC’s, you do realize this? If your computer can’t handle the resolution, I would say it IS an option :P
No lol i can handle games like metro 2033 (without DoF) or TW2 (without ubersampling) maxed out, gw2 shouldn’t even be a question. The large majority of people using their pc’s to game are on 1080p screens.
metro 2033 is an old game. My laptop can handle it O_o. Can you handle high performance games that came out this year? Lara Croft? Crysis 3? Because Guild Wars 2 has highly improved graphics and is an MMO which in itself is very demanding. It also came out in 2012, not in 2010 (which is when metro came out). Then compare it to other MMOs that came out on the same year – how well can you run, for example, Terra?

Metro 2033 is in the top three most demanding games out now, yes, 2013… Tomb Raider all maxed without stupid stressfx runs at 50fps+ (this is far from a demanding game lol this is a console port…), crysis 3 maxed (shaders/shadows on high instead of Ultra tho) ran at 43-60 fps. TW2 is The Witcher 2, best looking third person game available in 2013 even though is a 2010 game (looks a gen ahead of crappy tomb raider 2013). I’m playing with a gtx570@ core 920 and i5 2500k@4.3… i shouldn’t be playing gw2 at ~15fps on the lowest possible settings in wvw.

i think i got what they’ll be doing in the future. Every armor added to gem store will look good and how in game armors should look. Every armor (be happy to received more than one set per year) added in game that is acquired by just playing the game will look fugly to the point of everyone just not bothering or if its higher tiers ppl will just transmute it which leads them yet again in gem store… anet is not better than ea these days i swear

btw i just spent like 5 minutes spamming zerker and it never happened that he didn’t hit at all BUT it happened to me LOTS OF TIMES that iZerker hits only once, talk about amazing patched zerker……………………………………………

Never tried those raids but gw1 had over twice the amount of players for many dungeon so sup!? I want a 10 man dungeon and not in 2 years.

I HATE them. Generic quest that detracts you from doing what YOU want every single day… As soon as i get 30 laurels and obtain an ascended amulet for my main im out of daily trash quests and will never bother unless by playing normally i complete the quest 90%+

It…sucks ! There, finally said it. Terrible, shameful, whatever. I have yet to see a so-called RPG with such a lack of emotions in the voice acting, not to forget that dialogues are sickening horrible. A twelve year old could have written better things ! Please…how are you supposed to qualify yourself as an RPG when you have this, makes me laugh (sadly, but still).
See ? That’s why this game is for younger audience; there is no real work to do. No interesting stories to follow (the books are great though, from what I’ve heard). It’s like watching the life of the Kardashian Family on TV; you’re just turning your brain off for a while and press a few buttons.

thanks god im not the only one who felt almost insulted with their pathetic voice acting. Indie rpg titles worth $5-10 have a much superior voice acting than this and im not even kidding, its that bad. At first, i thought i’d get used to poor voice acting but when there’s games with top notch voice acting such as in GTA5 or The Last of us (that aren’t even rpg’s…), its just impossible to get used to gw2’s voice acting mediocrity.
