Yeah because if you don’t use TS or do exactly what others tell you to do in wvw then you are automatically a bad player. There is no other option, you HAVE to be a bad player unless you fall in line! rawr!

And that is how some wvw players sound and why I keep having fun playing my own way. No, I am not a rallybot and I follow the zerg easily without the need for TS. Sometimes I do my own thing in wvw because it seems like the more fun option at the time. Call me what you want but I put fun in this videogame before everything else. If you want to interpret that as playing bad then that is your issue.

Meh, you can’t take over a map anyways. Also I am sure there is more to the other side of the story. I am not doubting you but things usually are not as one-sided as described here.

A friend and I was called a troll in wvw (our borderlands) one time for taking a tower and killing the enemies inside. Then started complaining saying that we are griefers since we don’t use TS and don’t listen to the commander. Turns out he was just mad for not getting credit for the tower, but of course they will say that we are trolling them…

I am not saying that this is the same type of situation here but I see this kind of stuff happening all the time, so I have to question posts like this when I see them.

Chief Xoctic says that the Cuatl tribe is always trying to steal their supplies and never want to get their own.

But come on… You would think that they would be able to spare a few supplies considering they have so much! They probably already wiped the jungle clean of supplies by now. The Cuatl tribe is probably desperate by now and have to resort to stealing. I don’t think we should help them anymore.

And the pile just keeps growing!

Makes me wonder if there are other favors we have done that might have been the wrong thing to do.

One good thing about this though. I tried buying a ton of them for the first time in hopes of getting lucky. After losing all of my gems and gold, I have finally decided to stop spending money on gems for this game.

I am happy to say that I have finally broken my bad habit of spending money on this game

I personally think that killing low level champions should reward low level loot (this would help with the Silver Doubloon problem, if done correctly). I am not opposed to trains, but I think they should be level appropriate. If you want level 80 loot, hit Frostgorge Sound or Orr.

I started making GIFs for GW2 with funny things I have encountered in the game.

I am just wondering why fall damage still acts the way it does? I get the whole tumbling effect they were going for but with the way it works, stairs and tiny slopes can be the most terrifying things in Tyria. Anyone else think so?

Representing still has meaning. Many players (including myself and I even run a guild) are part of multiple guilds because each different guild is for different things (PvE, WvW, roleplaying, and so on).

Repping or not, all the members in my guild still talk to eachother thanks to the shared guild chat system so communication is NOT an issue and they all still contribute and participate in our guild events and helping our guild hall grow.

It looks like you just have a problem with members in your guild being interested in being in that guild. The repping feature has nothing to do with that.

Please fix! It is what makes the mace even more fun to wield

So for like the first time in forever, I took the time to make a custom gw2 playlist so I can enjoy my music as well as the in game audio.

Anyways I was in Rata Sum and I heard a ton of odd dialogue, or sounds, or whatever you want to call it.

and other noises that I cannot put into words.

Other than that, it is just a ton of sneezing and horrible coughing.

I have come to the conclusion that there must be some crazy new dru- err… gas that everyone must be inhaling or something. Honestly, something is going down in Rata Sum and the peacemakers need to crack down on whatever it is before it gets into the hands of the progenies!

Even though I am a Norn, I am still concerned.

Just being real with you guys here. As long as players are speaking with their wallets and pouring time and money into the game, the devs have no reason to change their decisions or explain anything to you guys. If you want to blame anyone for how the game turned out, blame everyone who is playing right now (including me). The best thing to do is either stop playin(the only effective way to change things) or just live with it at this point and keep playing.

Gold to gems. As long as this is a thing, you have no argument.

They should not alter items that you buy in the gem store. It makes you less likely to risk spending money again because you are unsure if the items you pay for will change into something that you did not initially purchase.

I have no problem spending 20 seconds rezzing up some pugs if they just happen to have crossed our path, and will then continue on their own way doing their scouting or roaming or w/e.

I will not rez them if they’ve been following us around all night, and won’t move off when asked.

And 90% of the time we don’t respond to pug request for help because the “request” is something vague like “INC ZOMG helpz keep quick!”. A guildie is more likely to get a response from us, because they provide actual information like “40-50 SFR at NE gate garri, 3 rams up, gate 70%”.

Your first statement goes both ways.

Your second statement seems to deal with a specific situation in which someone was just following you when you didn’t want them to. When I spoke on rezzing, I was speaking on general terms in which certain guilds would leave players dead regardless of the situation.

On your last statement about requests for help, maybe try asking for numbers or more about the situation. On my server, both guilds and PUGs will sometimes just say “inc bay south” or something similar and someone else will ask “what are the numbers” then they will realize they didn’t give enough info at first and will then explain the situation in full. It is not that hard to ask.

I love the idea of an MMO but I never found one that I liked. They all seemed so bland and boring to me. Then I decided to try GW2 and now I have faith in the genre again :P

I don’t understand why this bothers you. Unless your only concern for playing instruments is to try and impress others with how fast you can hit buttons, I don’t see why you would be worried about people who use macros for instruments.

Sounds like a plea for attention lol but I understand. One time in Fable 2 someone thought I was a girl and gave me a million gold. I can see why you want everyone to know you are a girl gamer haha.

Being human is boring. The armor is terrible on Charr though. Whether or not not many players like them, the fact that the devs put less work into the Charr shows a lack of passion which I find very sad and ridiculous.
