seriously it annoys the hell out of me that guardians are the ONLY one that get a spec that does NOT fit at all with a guardian
just replace Traps with ground targeted consecration skills
and rename the spec
and bam allready better ( could go into it waaay deeper but whats the point )
now i just gonna buy Hot and predict that my guard don’t have an Elite Spec……
as a guardian player atm i feel Shafted ignored and screwed over

Who plays a Necro for rainbows ?
If they allowed multiple shades to pulse on a single target, they’d have to balance on the assumption that people would be trying to stack the shades so as to get multiple triggers on their primary target, so they’d have to make the individual triggers sufficiently weak that getting three or four triggers on a single target on one skill use does not become OP.
Which would essentially make them so weak that you have to stack them to be worthwhile. They have to forbid it or it will become mandatory.
Not allowing shades to stack their effect on a single target means that they can make each strike powerful on its own, rather than balancing on the assumption that important targets will be being hit two, three, or even four times.
Isn’t it a test of skill to see if you can catch a target in multiple small AoEs? One Shade = decent, Triple Shade = dead. Poor positioning should be punished against a area control class.
Why would you need to nerf the procs at all? Does 100 blades need to be nerfed because you can get a full channel on some targets?
Why shouldn’t someone get blown up if the Scourge blows all their CDs and the target stands there and does nothing?
Add to that its a great way to balance PvE and PvP. Only NPCs and bad players get caught in multiple Shades.
Most capture points, Foefire middle excepted, are small enough that you could put down three shades that overlap the majority of the point while leaving very little of the point, if any at all, outside the area of effect of at least one, and don’t forget that the Scourge themselves count as a shade. If it was possible to hit a single target with multiple shades, then all the Scourge needs to do is be on the point themselves and anyone who contests the point will be being hit by at least two, and quite likely four, blasts.
At anything even close to the power of this weekend, that’s not ‘skill’. That’s ‘I own this point now, anyone who tries to say otherwise will die as I faceroll F2-F4’. It’d make the old turret engineers and full trap dragonhunters look like easily countered amateurs at point control.

Events in the main cities….
The main cities are sooooo Big and beautiful. but once you explore it there is no reason to move away from the Trading post banks and crafters that are usualy at the same place or really close together.
outside of these areas the main cities are a ghost town barely any or no players at all
we should use out these big and beautiful cities. and make it alive.
i don’t know yet what kind of Events there could be that rewards something that worth doing it.
but there should be something.

Scourge has much better ranged pressure than reaper. 4 of its class skills, which are major part of the damage, are instant and can be used while cc´d. The class is beyond broken right now.
soooo how long you ben standing in a shade to make that assumption ?

Man imagen my feels my 2 main and favorite chars in this game are Reaper Necro and Revenant…..
i swear to god they trolling me to leave the game…..
il hope they not change it… im sick of not being able to affor a bunch of stuff just because i dont play the Market mindlessly or Grind 24/7…. and im not even talking about legendaries…. i feel rich when i have 500g that flies away instantly and i found out i barely made progress by spending that much gold in anything ….

in itself it looks good but absolutly trash with the rev set.

I Personaly realy REALY like to help new players etc when im helping 1-2 new player and we talk etc it just creates a good atmosphere while playing.

if i ONE more time see someone compare HOT content to WoW expansion Content i gonna rip him apart.
just to keep this short:
WoW expansion content = more crap conent 90% of them loose its porpuse the momment your geared thats like hmmmm a week after release and ALL the zones and 5 mans you never gonna step into hell for zones you even forget they exists once you level up to max.
Hot on the other hand have less but WAAAY more meaningfull content. All the zones constantly reward you with something for doing different events that are on nonstop and changing no mater how well geared or what level you are. and it will stay meaningfull for YEARS not just a freaken Week.
i Won’t go into it deeper but these people kitten me off.

i tried using a fear based build and it’s amazing really. The instant burns from pressing F1 F4 F5 in one instant and the terror + terrifying descent adds up to a mesmer tier burst usually. F3 and a stunbreak saves you from burst, F2 means you dont need a condi clear. It’s great fun, but def not as supporty as i expected. But i am in the ffa arena so dobt take my word on that.
Now watch anet nerf us back to HoT.
One does not simply Nerf necros even more……

im getting tired of my favorite class being a big pile of useless crap in PvP….
we always needed a target to teleport with them.
if there is no target it would not teleport you.
the difference betwin ANY condi class and a Condi Thief…
a condi thief is unhittable while applying all the condis on you then can easily just get to a safe distance to outrange you and also heal up and he can do this forever till your not dead….
When I saw the patch notes I literally cried. I absolutely hate this change, it’s horrible. I am beyond sad and disappointed… My build just feels weird and ruined. First time in many years I want to quit my Necro main. I honestly just lost all the motivation to play the expansion. I am utterly disgusted by this nerf.

just came back to GW2 like a week ago to play my Power Reaper GS/Axe
and now they hit me in the face with this load of BS of a “Balance Patch”…….
I learned to not care or barely do any LS till they don’t make them replayable its just useless waste of time while its Temp.
The Most Iconic ability gets removed from the class…..
i cant believe they could not find a way to add some special effects to it change its numbers add more support oriented abilities to it or anything outside of removing shroud…..
Shroud is one of the main reason i enjoy necro….

again people want necros to be useless and be facerollable….I read a story on here or reddit on how players were hesistating when they saw a Scourge defending a point. People were actually afraid of Necromancers for once.
I mean what are some of the nerf herders hoping for? Do they think that if they act all meek that somehow Anet will take pity on Necro and be merciful? 5 years of GW2 tells me that ain’t going to happen.
I swear some players are so used to being kitten on that have come to accept it as normal and that they are noble martyrs for supporting the nerfs. If Scourge does get nerfed are they going to cheer?
I for one welcome the Scourge overlords. Time to put some real fear into GW2.
agree im playing necro since GW2 release… and other classes also but necro is the main.
and with scourge was the 1st time people actualy could not facetank and roll necro over…
people actualy tried to avoid necro abilities instead of just facetanking everything you throw at them while killing you…. even tough even NOW there are some classes and builds that can almost facetank shades….
right now scourge is good only in ONE thing and thats area denial…
nerf that and necro AGAIN will left with nothing….
people will again just facetank everything a necro throw at them with their billions of blocks/evades/immunes/heals/Resistance then kill the encro…

In spvp usually I join fights when foes have already start fighting to “safely” support my mates (blood magic) and they depend on me like I depend on them.
I really enjoy fight when I have a good thief cause I can ask for stealth while passing across me in his rotation (very helpful for ressing and repositioning).
Boonstrip, heal, ress and cleanse on shout: i’m more helpful for my team running a power support build with blood magic than running spite or curses, greatsword traited to have a poors man blighter boons (running reaper’s onslaught) along with Axe/WH gives me enough blinds/boon corrupt/life force generation to not die easily if focussed.
so:
babysitted
tanky build
and not killing anything
and joining fights where your enemies allready used majority of their burst and Utilities….
if all this is needed to not get focused down in seconds then the class has issues dont you think ?…
meanwhile most other classes running glass cannons more tankier then you Faster then you with more boons then you with more utility and with smart play can almost instantly take down others….
yaaaaaay Balance……

eles that can tank 3 players while spamming you for 3k dmg left and right nonstop with bilions of aoes i call that OP.

on a serious note they dont seem THAT mutch faster i dont think they would break anything if they would be implemented…
only the mount abilities need to be dissabled tough….. like the Leaps etc etc….
it would only bring positive stuff like the removing of the Swiftness and passive movement speed addiction….
this game just needs More game modes like 2-3 each of them with atleast 2-3 maps
and a working Ladder system.

OP how would YOU balance the game to make berzerker, and/or other builds, more or less equal to condi, without destroying condi? Which game mode do you think needs balancing?

but the most glaring issue with condi is in PvP….
also ask that from the devs that gets paid for it… i aint doing their jobs… they don’t realy listen to any balance suggestion anyway until the forums not burn and even then we just get a band aid on most issues….

I remember when Anet decided to buff Thief’s dagger autoattack and was left wondering well why not also buff the necro dagger autos?
god knows that the weapon needs similar buffs to at least scare peopl a bit in melee with necro

PvP like WvW and Spvp have their OWN Updates… So expansion dont bring anything new to these parts of the game outside of the new classes…
WvW and spvp updates changes happens separately so after they expansion launched later we will get new updates and stuff for pvp and wvw
ALSO changes like changing the landescape allready happening in wvw
as i said these changes are 100% separate
our ONLY queen the last Royal blood the person that keeping up the alliance is out in the marsh on a mission.
